Hello, my name is Sophia Regalado and I had an 1998 Chevy Yukon with over 200,000 miles on it. It got me from point A to point B but sadly broke down in January I currently live with my grandmother and my little brother and at the time I was dating this guy that really made me feel like I was safe taken care of he moved in with me and my family and he would take us where we needed to go which was mostly going grocery shopping and paying rent and he was helping out with the bills because my grandma has really bad arthritis and can’t work she’s been retired for about a year now but we’re living in housing and our rent is 500$ plus gas and light bill plus cable and WiFi plus food we don’t get any link either with him helping we manage but still struggle a little I never thought to get my car fixed because the guy at the time promised he’d help me out so I junked it and got a big amount of money to spend on himself to get new things for his car like a new muffler to make it sound cool paint job headlights none of which he needed he just wanted his car to look nice and I looked past it but sadly he cheated on me so I had to just leave him he’s very toxic and controlling and wouldn’t go back home to his family and chose to sleep out of his car down the street from my house and mt grandmother felt bad for him and told him he could stay at our house still and there’s so many other things me and him have been thru behind closed doors I got put in a situation to get molested by a man when I was a minor and he didn’t even care. I’ve been hit by a man before in front of him and he didn’t do a thing we were together two years and my grandma knows all this and still wants him to stay in our house because she needs his help in the house and I am tired of feeling trapped and controlled and not being able to have a say so so I packed up my things and left and now I’m living with my friend temporally in a camper with her boyfriend and just need a car to get a job so I can just go somewhere away from all this and get my life back together I’ve lost so many opportunities because of this relationship he is literally living in my home while I move out and live with my friend that is already struggling with their issues and only has one car. Anything would help but I would like to ask for at least $5,000 to get a nice cheap car that will get me from point A to B to last a while I’ll appreciate anything!
