17 and in gambling debt

Hi guys, my name is Nemanja and this is my story. I started gambling this summer. At first nothing crazy 5$ buys and stuff like that. Soon I wanted to gamble more and more, bigger bets, etc. Some time passed on and I lost all the money that I earned from my summer job. I come from a really poor family, my dad is an alcoholic, that’s why I started gambling thinking maybe I am going to win big. Then I borrowed 800$ from a friend trying to win some money just so I could have money for school lucnh and stuff like that. I lost it all. After that I spent a month trying to earn that money online but nothing really worked. Then I borrowed another 2200$ from him. I got up to 4500$ and then lost it all like a fucking idiot. Now I don’t know what to do I only wanted to help me and my mom out since my dad isn’t capable of that. If I was older I would get a job, since I am 17, I can’t. So I have no other thing then to literally beg and maybe some kind soul with a lot of money would like to help me. I have proof of gambling transactions and my proof of my age and everything. If I don’t get this money I am going to kill myself this feeling waking up owing someone something ain’t it for me. Please help me, situation is really serious I really am considering suicide as an option. I need to get this 3000$ back really bad.

Drowning in big debt

Hi thank you for looking at my story.

Here it goes :

I worked as ambulance emergency nurse and as you will see I always try to look for the good in people, but tžat the end that got me in lot of debt.

I had a girlfriend who had bill problems and I took a lone to pay for here bills and to help her develop her own company. Bought her all machines and necessary items for her company to work properly. After that I needed to get a car to be able to go to the work and took another loan,and then the friend ask me to be his security for loan witch he end up not paying for, then I had to continue to pay. Also I always wanted to work on Cruise ships as paramedic, found some sites that was offering that jobs, but at the end I got scammed. I also wanted to invest in the stock market and got scammed for that as well. Last year I got autoimmune disease and was unable to work, and I had to sell my car to pay for loans. Now I returned to live with my parents because I can’t afford my own place. I can save someone else’s life, but I need help to save my own life. Thank you for reading my short story.

A mother in a very difficult situation

I moved to Turkey after getting married in 2017. I am Sultan Yıldız, born and raised in the Netherlands. After my first child was born, my wife and I decided to move to the Netherlands. When we moved to the Netherlands, I was pregnant with my second child and my wife returned to Turkey to complete the remaining work. I gave birth to my second child in April 2022. We were staying with my parents at that time. Before giving birth, I sold a jacket to help my wife financially and sent her all the money I had. After my son was born, I struggled to find a home and finally found one. It is a very beautiful house but the rent is very expensive. I entered the job with my diploma, which I received at the time, and I bought all the items, some of them with debt, of course. My wife came to the Netherlands again and is having a hard time finding a job because she does not speak the language. Right now, I’m living alone and I’m in debt because I can’t pay the rent and insurance. It’s very heavy. It’s like there’s a very heavy burden on my back. I pray every day that if money comes from somewhere, I can breathe easier. Meanwhile, my children grew up. My daughter is 3 years old and my son is 1.5 years old. I love them so much, but I cannot fulfill their wishes. I was in such a difficult situation that I couldn’t even buy a birthday cake for my daughter’s birthday.

 

I received bad news last week. The owner of the house will sell the house in 2 years. And right now it is impossible to even find a small house for rent in the Netherlands. Our only option is to buy a house. But it sounds like a joke.

But I didn’t give up and I won’t. Because there are many good people in the world. and I believe that they will give me the support that my family and friends do not.

Help me pay off all my debts and prevent my daughter and I from being evicted from our flat.

I hope my message finds you well and in good health.

I’m writing this letter with a sense of urgency. I’ve had to work on myself in order to dare to ask for help, feeling obliged to share the financial difficulties I’m currently facing.

I’ve been bringing up my daughter alone since she was born 14 years ago. She’s a teenager who lights up my life with her presence. She’s affectionate, lively, cheerful and loves to laugh…
I’ve done my best to keep these qualities in her, but things have become very difficult.

Since the Covid period, I haven’t been able to get back on track and I’m currently going through a particularly difficult time. I’m in such dire financial straits that we’re in danger of being evicted from our flat because I’m several months behind with my rent. This is on top of the fact that I already had several thousand euros in consumer credit. With not enough money coming in, due to a lack of customers, I could no longer pay my bills or provide for our needs properly.
I found myself borrowing money from family and friends to cover at least our basic needs, hoping that in the meantime my financial situation would improve. But it didn’t.

Right now, I’m faced with the huge challenge of finding 25,000 euros. This sum would not only enable me to repay my debts and pay the rent in arrears, which would prevent us from being evicted, but would also create a small safety net for our future expenses. It would also give me the breathing space I need to move forward. Yes, I’m hopeful, as a life coach. I help a lot of people around me.
However, the current financial instability is causing a lot of stress in my life, which makes it difficult for me to concentrate effectively on finding strategies to turn my business around and rebuild a better future.

My daughter can see that something is going on. I don’t want to tell her about my serious financial difficulties. I don’t want to risk taking away her beautiful smile.
It’s hard enough having to say ‘no’ when she asks me for something I can’t give her when she needs it. I don’t want to put the weight of this situation on her fragile teenage shoulders. I especially don’t want to tell her that we’re in danger of being evicted from our flat.

So I’ve learnt to put my pride aside and turn to you, to ask for your financial support to manage the situation I’m in at the moment while I look forward to my situation improving.

Need a helping hand

Hello,

I have been unemployd for 6 months,before that I worked in construction,the sector is downfalling all over and tho I was able to save up when I was working Im now out of money because I have loans and bills that keep eating into my finances.I have been able to find work,but the only problem is it is starting in about a month and first income will start coming in about 2 months.I dont have anybody in my family that can support me ,because theyr financial situation is not good and ive been helping them myself when ever I can,talking about my parents here.I have a 4 year old little daughter that I need to provide for and I have really been struggling for the past couple of months,so far I have been able to provide her with what she needs but now Im out of money and new loan payments and bills coming up ,Im out of ideas and looking for any kind of support possible to get by somehow for the end of the year.The beginning of new year will be very hard even tho Im back working because I already have to pay back my loans that I have taken but I will work hard.I dont know how I ended up in the bottom and I never ask anything from anybody,but my situation is bad and I just cant do it on my own anymore.Any help possible would be Truly appriciated.I know I wont be celebrating christmas this year but if I could only feed my daughter and get my bills paid so I wouldnt be in more depth when I start recieveing income next year that would be huge help of getting my life back in order.I hope there is people out there who will read this and have a heart and oppertunity to help me out here.Please ,I have nowhere else to turn for support.

Single dad with mentally ill son

I am a 52-year-old single dad and live with my son in Bavaria/Germany. My son is now 20 years old. After my wife left us 15 years ago, I raised him alone.

My son has been suffering from major mental health problems for six years and has had to leave school as a result. He doesn't have a school diploma, can't get a job and rarely leaves the house. He doesn't even attend family gatherings. It already makes me sad when I think about him sitting alone in his room at Christmas. I'm going to sit with him this year. He sees a therapist, a psychiatrist and takes medication. Unfortunately, there is no improvement in sight. He should now be admitted to a clinic, I hope this helps him. We do not receive any financial support.

The situation is very stressful and makes me very sad.

I'm self-employed, but business is difficult even though I work 7 days a week and haven't had a day off in 5 years. I was diagnosed with diabetes 4 years ago. I have high blood pressure and mild heart problems as well as thyroid problems. I have also suffered from panic attacks and depression for several years, for which I take medication.

I also look after my mother, who is now 84 years old. She is still doing well, but of course she needs support at this age. My father died 10 years ago, which hit me hard.

Because of all these circumstances, I didn't take care of the finances as much as I should have, but I don't give up and keep fighting. I had already given up and it was all too much for me for a while. But I now realize that I can't give up.

Unfortunately, due to all the problems, I now have high tax debts and debts to the bank. If nothing changes, I'll have to file for bankruptcy soon. Then our car would also be gone, but I have to drive my son to the therapist and the doctors. And I also use it to drive my mother to the doctor and the supermarket. Therefore I would be very grateful for every cent of support. Help my son and me with a donation. I am very desperate and would really be very grateful.

May god help everyone who will help me in this dark time of my life

Hello dear! Im located in Skandinavia & worked these past years in construction! Well integreres in the system & trying to accomplishy my existence in this world. To begin with i had this idea of becoming a Good supporter to my family in homeland after i traveled to aboared to recover my hydrocephalus disorder which caused a challenge in my life if i hadnt came to Europian hospital. After that operation of my hydrocephalus disorder i chose to Stay here of all reasons i had not to return back to homeland. But this year is thoughest year of my life where i harmed my neck after falling of ladder at work & had to Stay at home this past 8 months. One day i began to think About investing my money or make my hard earned saved money work for me & i started to invest my money without a any exprience But that turned out to losing my hard earned funds this past years i worked. I couldnt sleep after that a single night But after all now my brother is also in emergency moment in homeland. The doctor back home have found out prolapse between T1 & T6 right under his shoulders. I am in worst time of my life where i have to atleast fund my brother 35000$ in order he can get here & get his medical treatment please may god help you help poor me in the saddest moment if my life humans all over the world. A home that I can call mine

For years, I’ve been living in a rented apartment. I am extremely lucky to have it. But it started to be difficult to live in it. Every summer is very hot. Every winter is freezing cold. They use all kind of excuses (rise of the electricity bills, ecology) to not heat properly. There are a lot of things that need to be fixed and they don’t want to do the repairs that they used to do.

My neighbor is a nice nightmare. He makes a lot of noise every night, like throwing an iron ball on the floor at 2 am, pulling his bed, screaming at his guest. He lived here for more than three decades and he still doesn’t know on which floor his apartment is so I have people ringing my bell from time to time when I sleep.  It’s not typical guests like family, it’s people that I need to call the police for because they were beating him.

Work is becoming harder and harder. They also have a heating politic that make my workplace a fridge in winter.

 

I’d like to have somewhere when I can feel warm and at peace without being scared of my neighbor’s guests.

Help take my son

Dear all,

I have been trying to take my son to Europe with me from the Philippines for more than 4 years. During the pandemic there were strict restrictions to enter and exit the country and I could not take him. After that my uncle had a motorbike accident and he had no health insurance, all my money went there for treatment. Just when this was done my son was found with kidney stones and had terrible pain, the drugs to melt the kidney stones were ridiculously expensive, he had to take them for about 8 months, then all our money went there. To pay for all these treatments I have been jumping around in Europe from job to job non stop, I worked as a buyer in Finland, when my job ended there I went to Germany some guy offered me work for two weeks in a wood cutting factory, then I worked for 2 months for Volkswagen, at that point the kidney problem started and my salary was not enough to pay the drugs so I moved to France to work at a chemical factory with a better wage, the work ended in 4 months now I am back in Germany working as a driver. I just want to have my son with me, I don’t know how long I can stand for, if I could get 9000 euros I could build a wooden house in the Philippines and move in there with my son. I don’t know if anyone would want to help but if I get help I will be praying for you that God will place you in the highest rank in Paradise. NEED TO GO BACK TO MY COUNTRY

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am coming here to ask for help because I need to go back to my country. My fiance was living and working in another country for 4 years while I was a student in another country. Travelling back and forth from my country of residence to his has been costly. We finally went to our country and got married in February 2023 hoping to end the distance relationship we have had for 10 years permanently. I returned to my country of residence where  I now have a job as a packer and he could not return to his because he did not have a permit to live there. We did everything possible and put together the necessary documents for his application for a residence permit to join me in my country of residence as my husband. He travelled to the country’s mission in another country and did the application. After waiting for 3 months he was refused the permit to meet me on the basis that we have not proven that we cannot live in our own country.

This was a big setback for us because I know of many people here who invited their spouses even while we were studying.  But our case was not the same. We were refused. At this time we do not have any more savings. Presently,  I am the only one working and I have a  sick mother who lives with my 12-year-old son in another city whom I am solely responsible for. My husband who has been supporting me to take care of my child and mother doesn’t have any stream of income since he returned home in January 2023. I try to support my family and him as well from what I am making here working as a packer but at the end of the month, I am left with zero in my bank account.

I have been suffering from nonstop headaches and I am unable to show up at work every day since the job is very physical. I have not been myself for the last 3 months. Instead of staying here and going around in cycles, I think it is better for me to go back to my family. With no savings, I cannot afford an air ticket.  l would love to return in December. My husband is now taking barbing lessons and other skin services in a unisex saloon. I wish to return home and use the money from this donation to open a unisex saloon and start our lives all over again.

This would also make it possible for us to extend a hand to others in need as well in the future. My husband is a calm, generous and kind person always caring about others. He has been giving free counselling to a lot of people facing different emotional problems.

Help me get back on my feet!

I’m a hard-working man with rheumatoid arthritis. I recently fell and broke my prosthesis (left hand), which I need to live a normal life and to work. Now I’m facing an unexpected financial hardship, and I need 600 euros to cover the cost of my medical bills.

I’ve tried to get an advance on my salary from my employer and a loan from my bank, but I’m not eligible because I’m still new to my job. I’m only three months into my new role, and I’m not covered by the company’s medical insurance policy until I’ve been an employee for six months.
