Everyone should help as much as possible

Hi all, I’m Vicki and my goal is to fundraise for my coragious best friend Nicola and her ongoing battle with breast cancer.
10 years after battling and beating breast cancer in her left breast, On November 14th 2023, Nicola was devastatingly diagnosed once again with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in the right breast.
Unfortunately, on this occasion, the cancer had already spread to nearby lymph nodes and would require a grueling 7 rounds of chemotherapy prior to surgery.
By the last round Nicola’s body was very tired and worn down and unfortunately this resulted in Neutropenic Sepsis and Shock which required treatment, resulting in delays in possible surgery options for a mastectomy.
Despite everyone’s hopes that the end was in sight, while recovering from her recent treatment,In just 3 weeks, Nicola’s cancer grew a brand new tumour and the breast began to display signs of inflammatory breast cancer. The breast had become inoperable and so the only option was to go back onto chemo for a further 5 months!
This new course of Chemo, which at first, showed signs of partial improvement suddenly stopped working.
On Thursday 7th November 2024, Nicola was given the devastating news that her cancer has spread across to the left breast, further across the lymph node system in the right breast, but worse still, it has spread to her bones, collar bone, spine and pelvis!!!
Now what?
Due to the rarity and aggression of Nicola’s cancer
She had requested a referral to The Royal Marsden in London, a cancer specialist hospital, for a second opinion prior to the latest news of the spread. Unfortunately The Royal Marsden are not currently taking NHS patients outside their area!
I mean give a girl a god damn break!!!
So here we are, options are limited, time is of the essence! The saying ‘Each day Counts’ could not be anymore accurate at this point!
She needs help! We need help!
Nicola desperately needs to source a private referral for her cancer, for her future, for her family and for her life!!
She needs the best team of Dr’s and the reality is that this comes at a price.
Please help me to raise whatever I can to support a private referral and any possible treatment for our girl.
The required amount of money is only $21000 [Read more…]

Woman-Owned Business Looking to Expand

Hello, my name is Olivia, and I’m the proud owner of The Beauty Euphoria, an online store specializing in high-quality lipsticks and liquid-to-matte lipsticks. My products stand out because of their moisturizing and gentle formula, which keeps lips comfortable all day long.

As a cruelty-free brand, we don’t test on animals, and our products are free from parabens. Our liquid-to-matte lipsticks are smudge-proof and only come off with makeup remover, setting us apart from our competitors.

I’m seeking financial help to grow my business. Despite putting in the hard work of defining my audience, setting up automations, and designing an online storefront that I’m proud of, I’ve faced challenges in building inventory, marketing, and advertising due to restarting my business a few times.

As a young, single woman striving to take charge of my future, I’m determined to make this dream a reality. Any support—big or small—would mean the world to me. It would help me take the next step in expanding The Beauty Euphoria and reaching more people with products I truly believe in.

Thank you for considering my story and for supporting a woman-owned business.

Seeking Opportunity and Support

Hello,

My name is Melissa, and I am reaching out with hope and determination in my heart. Over the past year, my family and I have faced a series of challenges that have tested our resilience but have also strengthened our resolve to overcome adversity. I want to share my story, not to seek a handout, but to find an opportunity that will allow me to care for my family while rebuilding a stable future.

Our household has always been a close-knit group of seven: my husband and I, our two young adult children (one of whom is on the autism spectrum and the other a dedicated 911 operator), a young adult we welcomed into our home nearly five years ago who lacked a supportive family, and my elderly parents. Together, we have always worked hard to support one another, but this year brought challenges that we never could have anticipated.

At the beginning of the year, I became severely ill and was forced to miss time at work. Shortly after recovering and returning to my work-from-home position, we experienced a power outage due to a melted breaker at the pole, which incurred a significant expense to repair. Just a week later, our furnace failed, causing further financial strain and additional missed work. These events, though unavoidable, led to my accumulating too many attendance points, and I was ultimately let go from my job—a decision I fully understood but one that nonetheless left us in a precarious position.

While searching relentlessly for another work-from-home role—critical due to my caregiving responsibilities for my elderly parents—our challenges deepened. On my birthday, April 26th, my father suffered a stroke. After multiple hospital transfers, we received the devastating news: he had stage IVB small cell lung cancer, with numerous masses throughout his lungs. Due to his health and age, treatment was not an option, and he returned home under hospice care.

My father’s illness and passing on November 4th of this year have left an emotional and financial void. My parents, who worked tirelessly their entire lives, had no life insurance. I had moved them in with me in hopes that they could retire and enjoy their remaining years together, but life had other plans. My mother, diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, also requires regular infusions every eight weeks, and her health continues to decline.

Despite these hardships, I remain steadfast in my commitment to providing for my family and ensuring my mother is cared for in her remaining years. I am not seeking charity; I am seeking an opportunity to work from home so I can fulfill my responsibilities while sustaining our family. I have a diverse set of qualifications, including:

  • Certified Notary for the State of Indiana
  • Marketing Certification
  • Knowledge in CNC programming and setup
  • Mechanical and technical expertise
  • Leadership experience, including six years of service in the Indiana Army National Guard (INARNG), where I achieved the rank of E-5 and completed the Professional Development Leadership Course

I am loyal, dependable, empathetic, and a quick learner. I am confident that my skills and dedication can make a positive impact in the right role.

If you or someone you know could offer guidance, job opportunities, or mentorship, I would deeply appreciate the chance to connect. Sharing this story and spreading the word would also mean the world to me. Thank you for taking the time to read about my journey and for any support or advice you may be able to offer.

With gratitude and hope,
Melissa

Project family relocation business startup

Hello!  My family has recently relocated from Pennsylvania to North Carolina to find an area to better support our children’s needs specifically our son with ASD.   Our new home and school has already validated our instincts to move and now I am very confident to set my roots professionally in this area.  I have leased a location and am in search of assistance in getting the business off the ground.  I would use these funds for rent and marketing purposes as I build my brand in a new area. With 24 years experience in my industry hoping to “take off” soon.

Thanks for your consideration!

financial hardship

$JennysageL (cashappp)

Hi my name is Jenny and my series of events started about 5 years ago. I took on care for my 75 year old father who was in the end stage of parkinson’s disease. I had no idea what this was going to entail. He lived with me and my husband for 3 years and at the end of these 3 yrs as were finally putting him in a nursing home due to the fact that he was way beyond our care.At this point because of taking on this task, I lost my job, I lost my Art Gallery, I was one week away from opening my gallery and my father made sure that I failed and was unable to open. my bankaccounts as were drained, my credit was ruined because dad bounced a thousand dollar check through my bank account. All in all I lost everything. After dad went into nursing home, I got an eviction notice, I couldn’t afford to pay rent plus utilities by myself. my husband at that time was worthless and hadn’t worked or helped me in 4 years. And due to thephysical teardown of caring for dad, I had to get up every   2 hr around the cock to give him his medicatiion, so I didn’t sleep for 3 years. This brought on a heart condition that may eventually beat me.So we were getting evicted,,,, me and my husbannndn separated permanently, divorced now. I had to move into an RV I had bought during COVID from unemployment money. but I had no job, no income, a heart condition and had applied for disability, but their waiting process truly will make a person suffer. for about a, I suffered alone, went without every basic nesssecity you can possibly think of, down to weight loss beccausee lack of food.I had to move my RV consantly becauseI couldn’t afford to put it in a park and no matter how quiet or clean you are, people judge hard. until they have walked in your shoes, they are not humble.

One thing that I will appreciate for the rest offf my   life and never take advantage of  is the appreciation for hot water and running water..  I had to haul water by myself with a heart condition for quit some time. I had a little help from a friend of mine Greg Versoi, he let me stay on his property for about a year. Later on Paid him for water and electric for the whole year.

Then I started hanging out with a friend up in siletz Oregon and after several months, we decide to move my motorhome up river to park in front of his place. It took us 3 days to get it there and I was driving, iaccidenntally over shot the drive way, so I had to drive up to moonshinee eto gt turned around, because I had lost reverse on the way up. I go to turn a 40 ft motorhome around and it stalls right in the middle of the road. I go to start it back up and from the drivers seat to the rear bumper, it ignites on fire. we had tied the drivers door, so I couldn’t get out, it was pitch black and I cant see where I’m going . my boyfriend runs from the drivers side to the side door and  as he is trying to open the door , the entire wall comes off with it. Another half a second, and I burn to death. The second I get out I start screaming for my dog, hhhhe is nowhere to be found and he was riding right next to me inside. we had previously loaded my RV with supplies to last us 6 mths and pretty much everything we owed and we     were planninngon moving aaasap.     we had filled 6 propane tanks, I had dual gas tanks, and I’m an artist, so my epoxy resin burns into explosion after explosion after explosion. we couldn’t get close enough to grab not one thing. mypurse with had  8,000$ in my wallet that I had just picked up for rent ffffor  6  mths. my RV burnt down in 10 minuutes. my life burt down in ten minutes. when this was over, we had no choice, but to go to Jeremy’s place and when we t back there was a 30 day eviction notice on our door. we just stood there in shock looking at each other realizing that we didn’t even have a pillow to     ss leep with, we had nothing, I mean nothing. sincce that time which was about a year and a half ago I have lived in my Jeep, I have lived in the woods in all elements, gone without everything you could come up with.Today is November 17th and I am still homeless. I still have a heart conditin with has worsened, so I cannot work a whole lotIff not at all.I desparetly need a place to call home, some where that I can lay my head at night. And I desparetly need finnnancial help. for insurance and phone and living expenses.

At this time me and my significant other, we have exhausted all avenues and decided to attempt to start a business for real estate investment and renovation, but we have found out on this we need a financial backer to get up and running. again exhausted all avenues. I need help, just one chance at life. someone that is willing to take a chance on me. And help to get back on my feet, and to have a home. 3 years is a long time on the street, especially when your not accustomed to that life.

The Impact of Financial Support on Our Future

In today’s challenging economic climate, many families face the burden of debt and the limitations of poor credit. My partner and I, both being at the age to start thinking of comfort stability and we find ourselves at a crossroads where financial assistance becomes essential for our future. We are seeking a grant or crowdfunding support of $25,000 to help us escape the cycle of bad credit and create a brighter tomorrow.

Currently, we are living in a neighborhood that lacks the resources and safety necessary for a healthy lifestyle. Financial instability has kept us from moving to a better environment, which not only affects our well-being but also limits our opportunities for growth. With this funding, we would be able to secure a safer and more supportive home—a place where we can thrive rather than just survive.

This financial assistance would allow us to pay down existing debts, significantly improving our credit scores. Better credit would open doors to more favorable loan terms, housing opportunities, and possibly even lower insurance premiums. By eliminating the stress of looming debts, we would have the mental space to focus on career advancement and personal development. Investing in ourselves becomes possible when financial burdens are lifted.

Our vision for the future is one where we can take pride in our home and community. We aspire to engage more actively in local initiatives, support our neighbors, and contribute positively to society. By breaking free from the chains of poor credit, we can foster a stable environment for ourselves, potentially paving the way for future generations to succeed without the same financial fears.

In conclusion, the opportunity to start fresh with $25,000 would not just alleviate our current stresses; it would lay the groundwork for a new life filled with hope and possibility. We are committed to making the most of this opportunity, not just for ourselves, but for those around us as well. Thank you for considering our request for support.

Recovering addict homeless with 2 years clean

I’m a recovering addict with a Little over two years clean I’m 47 years old and I’ve struggled with addiction, depression, and anxiety most of my life. I have four adult children and 8 beautiful grandchildren after my last two grandchildren were born a little over two years ago I decided that I didn’t want to miss anymore of their life or mine.  After getting clean I was diagnosed with adult ADHD and realized that I had gone my entire life misdiagnosed and that answered every question I have ever had about my relationships and my inability to cope in society. I want a life with my grandkids and my dog Penelope. I’ve struggled with homelessness since my dad had a stroke and I lost the house that was in his name, but experiencing homelessness during recovery is still better than any day in active addiction. I love spending time with my grandchildren, but it’s really difficult homeless.  I was blessed to be able to start a small business out of the shop in the back of my ex-husband‘s house making home decor items and taking  to the trade day to sell. It is coming along ok but it’s never enough to cover food, shelter, transportation and every day expenses, much less am I able to save enough to get a car or a place to live.  I need a vehicle to be able to my take my decor items back-and-forth to the trade day as well as better equipment be able to increase my inventory.  I love my life today and I know that with the help of my recovery family as well as counseling and tools to help me get through the new ADHD diagnosis I can have a good life and show my grandchildren and my children that you can turn yourself around and make a better life for yourself at any time. I would love to be able to build one of those tiny homes on the small piece of land with a little shop for my business and a little bit of a yard for my grandchildren and my dog Penelope to play that with. That and  a van or truck I would be able to Have a life that I’ve only dreamed of. I could only imagine what it would be like if I was able to just get my head above water. I realize I’ve made mistakes and life is about being able to get up and brush yourself off and move on  And I will do this. I just need help  to get to other side of this and be safe and not on the street. Any help you could give me would not be in pain. I will pay this forward as soon as I can. Thank you for helping me or any anyone else in need .
You are truly a blessing. Any amount of help towards a shelter and a vehicle would be amazing.

I need help getting out of financial crisis

Hello,

I made some terrible financial decisions and I was also careless with my finances and greedy between 2020 to 2023 and now I am stuck with a very huge debt that I cannot repay and I really need help/miracle to get out of this.

I am managing my finances better now, but still have a huge deal to pay. This is my embarrassing story and do not feel bad if I am judged, looking back I feel terrible.

I started gambling in 2020, and between February 2020 and November 2022 I have raked up 235,000CAD in debt. I did make some money but was too greedy to quit, until I had dug myself into this massive hole that I cannot dig myself out of.

I quit gambling and started the process of paying back. I took loans from banks and loan companies including credit cards in February 2023 to begin paying, totalling 30,000CAD. I have been consistently paying down on those loans, but still have $200,000CAD still hanging over my head from the main debt.

I am employed as a software developer and also doing freelance, I have also created a couple of SAAS applications between April 2023 to date, only one is still up, the others did not get any revenue and I was making loses. The only one up makes a revenue of approximately 30CAD every other month, with just 10 paying customers, I am currently in the process of adding more features to make it more viable, nevertheless I am still incurring losses on it, but am certain that if 1 person is paying then I can get more people to use the app if I fix the issues and feedback customers have provided. I am also doing delivery services and Uber.

All the money from my job, freelancing and delivery services goes into paying off the loans, rent and family expenses with little or nothing left to save and pay the outstanding debt, I still send money from time to time to various people I borrowed money from, like rationing. I have been threatened, embarrassed and lost the trust of my family and friends as I borrowed some of the money I used to gamble from them. I am still working hard to pay back all of them.

The issue I have now is that one of my friends I borrowed money from is now been harassed and is about to lose her house to the people she borrowed money from to give to me. Hence my heightened desperation as the period she was given has expired. I owe her 74,000CAD in total. I really need help with this, or some of it, to give her.

I cannot live with myself if she loses everything because of me, it has been very hard and gruelling past 2 years, and help with this, will really help me concentrate and work on everything I am doing now to pay off and be financially liberated.

I have burnt all the bridges where I would have been able to get help and ended up finding this website after I began searching and looking out of desperation. I fill stuck and cannot think straight knowing that somebody else is suffering due to my bad choices.

Please I need an angel to give me a second chance, and help me fix all I have broken. Please any help will go a long way.

Thank you,

Help me I’m drowning in debt after getting out an abusive relationship.

hello my name is Jodie I am a single parent of 2 children and I am up to my eyeballs in debt. I have recently gotten out of an abusive relationship where I was physically, emotionally and financially abused. He took control of my whole life and my finances. He left me with debt I have no chance of repaying at this very moment and I am receiving letters which are quite frightening. I just don’t know what to do anymore. I’m working and trying to pay off what I can but living is expensive and my current situation is just worsening by the second. I’m honestly desperate and I have no support system either. I just need a break, a fresh start to help me get back on my feet and finally move on for that awful part of my life.

Please Help Me Stop Eviction

I am reaching out to ask for urgent help to pay my rent for my six children and I.

I’ve received a notice of eviction from the courts today, and with 6 children, we are at risk of losing our home at any moment due to the order being approved today. I was advised they will take the rent as long as I pay it before the sheriff comes to the door. I really need this assistance as We were living in Hotels for 10 months and finally got a place to call home. My rental company unfortunately doesn’t accept outside assistance and the programs can’t write a check to me and have me take it.

Unfortunately I lost my car that I drive for work and had to begin to rent a vehicle to maintain bills. Balancing both has been a hassle moving forward I will be able to maintain after my car accident settlement.

We currently need $4,900 to cover the remaining balance for October and November rent.

Title: A Humble Request for Help – A Lifetime of Giving, Now I Need Help to Keep Fighting

Dear Friends,

I am reaching out with a heart full of humility. Throughout my life, I’ve been the one offering support, care, and a helping hand to others. I’ve built businesses, mentored women, and opened my home to those in need. But today, I find myself in a position where I have no choice but to ask for help.

A Struggle with Chronic Illness and Setbacks

My journey through health challenges began in 1999 when I woke up paralyzed from the neck down, leading to diagnoses of Lupus, Fibromyalgia, and RA. Despite these conditions, I rebuilt my life and career, reducing my medications from 26 to just 2 through determination and excellent medical care.

Despite these challenges, I start a home improvement business and went back to school to obtain my MFA in interior design and I worked hard to build a life and a coaching business aimed at helping other women overcome trauma and take control of their health and wellness. However, my health has continued to decline, and in 2021, I was forced to face a series of devastating blows.

Since 2021, I’ve faced a cascade of devastating setbacks:

  • December 2021: Underwent major back surgery
  • Throughout 2022: Worked 7 days a week between my business and a new job as an interior designer
  • December 2022: Suffered a severe muscle spasm requiring ambulance transport and two weeks of bedrest
  • Early 2023: Continued working through pain while managing a home sale and move
  • May 2023: Finally received MRI revealing a torn meniscus after months of physical therapy
  • August 2023: Underwent knee surgery, but complications arose within 5 weeks
  • November 2023: Second MRI showed another torn meniscus and complete loss of cartilage
  • February 2024: Underwent total knee replacement
  • April 2024: Required manipulation surgery due to excessive swelling and complications

Throughout this period, I’ve faced:

  • Exhaustion of all short-term disability and medical leave
  • Inability to continue working due to severe pain and mobility issues
  • Mounting medical expenses and co-pays
  • Failed attempts at debt resolution programs
  • Unsuccessful investments in work-from-home opportunities while trying to maintain income
  • Medication side effects that have left me in a cognitive fog

The compounded effect of these health crises has not only affected my physical well-being but has completely derailed my financial stability and ability to maintain my business and coaching practice.

Current Situation

  • $70,000 in credit card debt accumulated from medical expenses and basic needs
  • $65,000 in tax obligations from selling our rental property to downsize
  • Vehicle broken down since May 2023
  • Unable to work due to ongoing recovery and physical therapy
  • Invested $14,000 into business opportunities and coaching programs trying to rebuild, but health complications prevented progress

My Goal

I’m seeking $160,000 to:

  • Clear medical-related debt
  • Handle tax obligations
  • Restart my business helping other chronic illness survivors
  • Cover essential therapy to complete my recovery

I’ve tried everything to keep going: taking on extra jobs, asking for hardship assistance, and even working through pain. But the reality is that I’m at a breaking point. My bills are overwhelming, and I’m struggling to continue paying for the basics.

I have always been a fighter, and I know that with the right support, I can rise from this and continue to serve and help others. I am asking for your generosity so I can rebuild and give back to those in need, as I have done for so many years.

Why Help – Your Support Would Mean Everything

Throughout my life, I’ve:

  • Served our country in the military
  • Provided shelter to women and children in crisis
  • I reduced my medications from 26 to 2 through grit & determination
  • Served on community boards and committees
  • Never stopped fighting to give back to others

Even now, my goal isn’t just to recover financially – it’s to rebuild my coaching business so I can help other women navigate their health challenges and find joy in their lives again.

A Personal Note

Asking for help isn’t easy for me. I’ve always been the one others lean on. But I’ve learned that sometimes the strongest thing we can do is acknowledge when we need support. Any assistance, no matter the size, will help me get back to serving others and making a difference in my community.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and consider helping.
