I want to succeed

My name is Holly. Single mom, Veteran. I’m about to turn 54. I have ADHD, social anxiety. Grew up an introvert, empathetic, loving, eccentric, played sports and violin and went to Christian schools and events. My mother died suddenly when I was 18 in college. From that I made a lot of bad choices due to excessive drinking which led to other temptations and trouble. My father tricked my nativity and trust and I unknowingly signed over custodial rights to a man who brainwashed my son, tortured me emotionally and disowned me simply because I am of a lifestyle he absolutely hates. I changed my life 20 years ago but it just seems every time I get a break bad things happen. I’m accident prone.  I moved away from Houston to Kerrville, a simpler but I’m close to nothing and there is no transportation. I finally bought a new car in 2017 then I fell off a 9′ wall shattering my heel bone. 7 screws and a plate. When I healed enough to walk my foot rejected the metal and I had them removed. When I healed enough to walk they found and removed a cyst on my breast which required to stay in bed with daily home health. When I healed I helped a friend move not thinking I’d weakened so much and tore a quad muscle. After 3 yrs of surgery and recovery, I atrophied. During all of that I started stacking certifications in Microsoft, IT, and Data Analytics. I went back to my old job to save for a car to be able to try to finally get a career. I quickly moved up and bought a car. Then my hips started giving up on me. Next, on my way home from work a deer totalled my car. Never heard of GAP insurance so I’m still paying off the now $2000 balance. I’ve had one hip replaced and now go in January for the other hip. I have short term and the VA. What I need is just a chance , a little help to just get me in a reliable car. I’m only asking for a down payment of $3-$5k so I can have payments I can make on a used car.  I’m so tired of always starting over but I have another one in me before I get too old but I have to have a car to find my career. I’m trying so hard to be a better me. I have a step daughter, 15, at home who a honor roll, Christian, a son who is in school for his master’s in biomedical engineering. I need to get out of hard labor, I won’t let any help be in vain. I’ll pay the car off, I just need to get a reliable car for me and the kiddo. I know there’s so many others with worse luck but I am not comparing myself. My bad luck almost has me both hands up.  Please help me get back on my feet . Thank you so very much. Mortgage Foreclosure

A little insight. My sons and I moved in with my parents in 2001. My youngest son was still in school and my oldest had just started working. My oldest son quickly found a job and moved in with a houseful of friends.

My dad was diagnosed with COPD and was needing more care than my mom could give him. My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2005 the year my dad died. I stayed with my mom to help her out. My youngest was finishing high school. I spent the next few years working part time, helping with the bills. Things were good, bills were paid, everything rolled along.

In 2006 my moms health was deteriorating. Physically she was OK, but mentally it was obvious she was slipping further into the disease. It was also the year the business my son worked for closed their stores across the country. He had no job, and he decided to move back home until he found another job. It wasn’t long after he moved back in that he told me he wasn’t feeling well, but wouldn’t tell me what was wrong. It didn’t take much time and I ended up taking him to the emergency room. The pain had become intolerable. Testicular cancer it was. I needed to stop working, even part time. I had a mom with Alzheimer’s, a son with cancer, and another son living at home. I became the full time care giver for my family. Money was tight with only one income, but we managed. A year later, after chemo, medications, radiation etc. my sons cancer was gone. Thank God! He went back to work. The next few years were smooth, money was still tight, but we made it work

In 2012 my youngest decided the Navy would be his career, and it ended up being a good fit. He met a lovely girl who happened to be stationed on the same base. They got married in 2016. My DIL found out she was pregnant, and went Navy Reserve that same year. She moved back to her home town to be closer to her family, and my son was sent to Bahrain.  At the end of the year she had a beautiful baby girl. The Navy was great and got my son home for her birth.

Spring of 2017 my DIL and granddaughter moved in with me. It was nice having extra help with my mom, and wonderful having my granddaughter here. My mom had become an empty shell mentally and physically. She was now confined to a wheelchair, no longer knew anyone, or where she was. In the fall the decision was made to out her in a hospice facility. She hadn’t slept more than a few minutes at a time for three days, and I was right next to her.  I was tired and she needed medication for a UTI, regular pain killers and sedatives to keep her comfortable.  We got her room ready for her to come back home. My oldest stayed home from work to help me get her room set up for when she came home. I came back from the hospice facility after getting her settled, and my son and I stood on the porch discussing the next step. He left to go bowling with friends. Little did I know, that would be the last time I would see him alive. On his way home he collapsed in his car and veered off the road. There was no accident, no trauma. The coroner discovered he had the heart of an 80 year old. The chemo he had years earlier had probably caused the damage. It was devastating for me. That isn’t the natural order of life, a child shouldn’t leave the world before the parent. Two days later my mom passed away.

Very soon after youngest moved to his next duty station stateside, and of course my DIL and granddaughter moved with him. I was a bit panicked I was in the house alone and had no job. Luckily insurance and some saving kept me paying the bills while I looked for work. Finding a job was an issue. It’s hard to find a job being 60, not in the working field for ten years, and somewhat disabled by spondylolisthesis. With no job, the pandemic hit. I basically ran out of money to pay the mortgage. It was OK there was a mortgage moratorium. I paid when I could.

Pandemic over, I was lucky  found a job quickly and went to work for a company in Senior Care. I was now taking care of chronically, and terminally ill seniors. In 2022 I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Surgery, radiation and medication has so far kept me cancer free. More time off and less income again.

Tried to get the mortgage taken care of through a modification, but what they wanted was more than I could do. Looked for someone to help, refinance or negotiate with the lender, something to get me out of a behind mortgage. Found someone that had no complaints, no bad reviews etc. I trusted them, but shouldn’t have. They took me for some money and did nothing. I was then desperate with a looming foreclosure. Quickly put an end to that relationship and I found another company that came with a recommendation that had no problem helping me get refinanced. Started the process then found out damage the company that scammed me made. I guess I was stupid, naive, or desperate when finding the first company. Foreclosure looming and no way to stop it.

My home has very recently been purchased by a company that flips houses. I would like to make them an offer to buy it back. My father built it in the 60’s and it has been our family home since then.

It is a big ask, but if I could get my home back with a good offer to them, it would be grand. It is possible that my DIL, granddaughter and grandson may need to move back in with me if my sons current deployment is extended. At this point I am not sure where I am going to go if I have to move. I don’t qualify to buy another home, and not sure with my ruined credit I could even rent an apartment. I am needing about $350,000.  It is an over the top ask, but I am always hopeful.

Thank you and God Bless!

Business Emmergency

Karl, my business partner and friend of 35 years lost his battle with cancer in September of 2023 and I have been devastated ever since. My name is Larry, I’m 76 now but still managed to serve as Karl’s hospice caregiver for over 2 years which caused our business to suffer. Our products are very unique, they are loved by anglers and boaters, many consider them to be prized-possessions. Karl and I created hand-drawn state maps showing all streams and lakes, even the small ones that fly fishers love. We published 23 state maps and still have an inventory of thousands of maps.

The business is named Professor Higbee’s Stream & Lake Maps, named after Howard, the 91 year old professor who hand drew the first map, then showed us how he did it.

My plan is to sell the excess inventory this Christmas at a 50% discount. Something we have never done before. People love a bargain, so I expect them to sell very sell, especially at Christmas. But I don’t have the money for advertising and the money for lamination material. Time is running out and without this promotion the business might fail.

The promotion is ready to go, but $5,000 is needed to launch it. This will raise enough to get the business back on track and allow me to hire help to get more state maps completed and available to anglers and boaters.

Over the years the maps have made an excellent fundraiser for water conservation groups who also use the maps, with watershed boundaries, for environmental education. I expect that with the funding of the project, the promotion will allow me to continue to make map donations to worthy causes.

I believe in the concept of “pay-it-forward.” There is an awesome move by the same name. I pledge that if I receive the $5,000 I will “pay-it-forward” by 2 times, by funding other worthy causes on this site for $10,000.

Although Karl is gone, this much needed funding will allow his work to continue. And, allow the business to stay alive, continuing to help environmental causes.

God bless you all!

May blessing pour down upon your generous spirit forever!

And, may any donations you make to any need, cause a ripple in the lake to form a waver of “Pay-it-Forward.

Hope for a dream

Hi there hope you’re well. Life  has brought me to a crossroads I never imagined. I’ve spent years working hard, earning a degree in Marketing Management, and chasing the dream of building something meaningful. Yet, despite my efforts, the road ahead seems darker than I’d hoped.

After trying to start my own businesses, I poured everything—time, energy, and savings—into building something that would last. I believed that by dedicating myself to modest fashion dropshipping, I could bring beauty and confidence to women while creating a sustainable livelihood. But life had other plans. Challenges in an unstable economy, unforeseen technical issues, and the weight of relentless competition drained not just my finances but also my spirit.

The worst part? Watching my dreams crumble in front of me while knowing I gave it everything I had. Now, as I sit here, I’m trying to piece together what’s next.

I’ve always believed in helping others. During my teaching years, I made sure no child felt left behind. When I worked with customers, I stayed late answering questions just to ensure they felt valued. But now, I find myself in a position I never anticipated: asking for help.

I don’t want a handout—I want a hand up. I want to build again, to channel my creativity and determination into a new chapter that will show that even when life knocks you down, there’s always a way to rise again.

Your support could help me attend advanced marketing workshops, invest in the right tools for freelancing, or even revive one of my earlier business ideas with better resources. In return, I promise to work tirelessly, not only to honor your kindness but to one day pay it forward to someone else in need.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. No matter what, I’m grateful for the reminder that even in difficult times, humanity shines through in the smallest acts of kindness.

Just till I can…………..

Hello, my name is Thomas, I am 61 years old. The Factory that I worked at for 21 years recently closed. I can draw unemployment for awhile if I have to, but hope to find something else (which will not be easy for my age and health). I can’t cover some of my bills for a while, so I am asking for help with rent, groceries, electric and gas. I have a 1999 Ford ranger paid for, I am a Veteran so I have health insurance. I made the mistake of never paying into a 401k (I hope others learn from this mistake). I am hoping for enough to keep me on my feet for a while, Just till I can……….find something else or learn something else. I am reluctant to ask this and anyone and everyone will always have my sincere gratitude. Thank You. PayPal link: Thomas Smith @thomassmith1667

My worst year

@LDG9388

Hello…..I’m begging for money because I have had the worst year ever.  I lost my job because I ride my bicycle to work and one morning on my way in I was hit by a motorist coming out of a shopping strip. I was at no fault, the driver only looked one way and pulled out hitting me. The police issued the driver at ticket and I was injured along with my bike damaged. I had just received the bike two weeks earlier. I just purchased a $2000 dollar e-bike and I was loving it. It’s a Teleport-Ride. After getting fired because I missed to many days with no doctors excuse I tried to make money with bitcoin and I got scammed out of almost $10000 dollars. I would put money in my Cashapp and every time I would get a tax fee to receive a payment. That happened over and over the person said just pay the fee trust me you will get a payment. I couldn’t pay any more fees and I never heard from the person who said they were helping me.Now I’m working for the HOA where I live and behind over $3000 dollars on my bills. I’m living day to day and I’ve pawned or sold everything I can. I have lost so much this year and can’t afford to do anything. Any amount would be greatly appreciated but $10000 would get me out of this darkness and put a smile back on my face. GOD BLESS

Please Help Save My Home

Dear Generous Donors,

I am a single mother of two who is facing the devastating prospect of losing our home due to a business loan tied to a failed venture. I am humbly asking for your help to protect the only stability my family has left.

Here’s my story: I owned a thriving business generating $3.6 million annually. During a time when I had to focus on family matters, I entrusted a CEO with management. While I was away, this person forged my signature to secure an additional loan of $500,000 and signed over my home as collateral without my knowledge.

Despite all efforts to save the business—liquidating assets, depleting my retirement, and cutting costs—the company ultimately failed after nearly a decade. Now, the loan remains unpaid, and the lender is seeking repayment. If I cannot pay off this loan, my home will be taken.

I’ve done everything I can to mitigate the damage. I am working full-time to support my family, paying off other debts, and stretching every dollar to cover our essential expenses. Selling my home would not fully repay the loan and would leave me and my children homeless in a difficult housing market.

I am humbly asking for any financial assistance you can provide. Every contribution will bring me closer to saving my home and securing a stable environment for my children. This is my last hope, and I would be forever grateful for your generosity.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I’m happy to provide more details if needed.

Sincerely,

Shannon, instagram handle @clad_its_shannon

The Next Step

I write this to ask for your help. I find myself surprised to be in this situation and taking such an unusual course, but here’s hope in trying something out of the ordinary.
I am one of the many people here in the US who had their lives pretty well upended by Covid.
Prior to Covid I worked for a number of years as an investment specialist in what are called Direct Participation Programs, loosely called ‘alternative investments’ or the buzz word today is private equity. I carried the Series 7 and 63 licenses. I did reasonably well and ended up putting most of my earnings into different real estate projects. Covid and it’s economic consequences made a mess of all this and nearly all of the placed funds were lost.
I found myself in a place needing unexpected and quick income. My licenses had expired during Covid as the Broker Dealer I previously worked for wound down and the principals retired. I ended up, humorously, beginning work driving for Uber. I’ve done that now for about a year and a half now. While over qualified for the work I haven’t minded doing it and don’t feel ashamed. It has kept the bills paid and I’ve met remarkable people including a concert violinist who had a half a million dollar violin made in 1710 by one of Stradavarius’s students (I had the violin in my car and got to touch it) to the former COO of one of Elon Musk’s current companies. I also got to help many physically limited people get to and from their various places. It’s been a learning and humbling experience and a good one. However, Uber does not pay a great deal, roughly 50-70% of the fee goes to Uber, and to make my monthly nut the hours are long and grueling. I typically start, living in the Los Angeles area, at 3:00 AM and finish around 11:00 AM and then I do an afternoon shift typically from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. And I do that everyday, not just Monday to Friday. If they allowed me to drive more per day I probably would.
I decided to work on getting my licenses back and get back into investment work. I began this about 8 months ago and started looking for a new Broker Dealer. An excellent and established firm in Chicago agreed to onboard me. I retested all needed licenses including the 63, SIE and series 7 in less than 5 months, quite an accomplishment. I was taking 10 and 15 question quizzes while waiting for pickups. Anything to work in the needed study time.
However, the problem I now have is I need time to work on contacting all my old investors and rebuild my book of business. I cannot talk to these people while I am driving. It’s a funny notion to consider.
To free up the remainder of November and all of December and January I would need about $10,000. That would allow me to spend a good two and a half months working back. The programs I’d work on include green energy, tax benefitted investments and much in real estate. I know I can make this work if I have the time.
I know what you are thinking, borrow from family or friends. My family is small and presently no one is in a position to make that kind of a loan. Similarly for my group of friends, either they are unable to do it or our relationship isn’t of the kind where I’d ask to borrow such sums of money. I thought to go to some past investors but I don’t think that’s a great idea. So this comes back to the hope that maybe I can get enough people on here to help me out. Every $200 buys me a free day.
So I ask, can you help me? Help get me restarted and help get me out of this car! I hope this missive finds you well and I thank you for reading it, whether you contribute or not. I hope you are having a fine winter day.

I have made available all of the typical forms of sending cash.

Calling for Immediate Assistance Needed, in Our Journey Towards Hope and Strength.

Dear Friends,

I am reaching out today with a humble heart and a deep sense of urgency. I am an aviator who embarked on a bold journey in 2009 to start an aviation training school in South Africa. I invested my entire savings into that business, dreaming of empowering others through aviation. Unfortunately, circumstances led to the closure of my business, and I found myself with nothing but the lessons learned and a desire to rebuild.

In 2023, my family and I moved to Canada, seeking a fresh start—a new beginning. I arrived with my wife and two children, full of hope but with limited resources. To ensure a better future for my family, I used the last of my savings to support my wife’s postgraduate studies, as she is a highly trained pharmacist back in Africa, and education has always been the key to opening doors. Despite our efforts, I have faced significant challenges in securing stable employment since being granted a work permit in September 2023. I have been unable to find a job, and every day has been a struggle to make ends meet.

We’ve spent everything we had to keep going covering our rent, paying for our basic needs, and still, we owe money for my wife’s tuition fees. Time is running out, and our documents are soon expiring, adding even more stress to an already difficult situation. We can hardly keep up with our bills, and the uncertainty is overwhelming.

But despite these challenges, I have a vision. I am determined to rebuild and give back to those who find themselves in situations like ours. With the support of a potential business partnership with “Best.Energy”, I have a chance to get back on my feet and contribute to my community, creating opportunities for others in the process.

We are now at a crossroads and urgently need your help to raise $100,000 USD. This amount will allow us to renew our documents, pay off the remaining fees for my wife’s studies, and help us set up a business partnership with Best.Energy. This partnership will not only stabilize our future but also allow us to give back to those in need, helping others who face adversity as we have.

Please consider making a donation to help us through this incredibly difficult time. Your generosity will not only help us survive, but it will also give us the tools to rebuild our lives, create opportunities for others, and fulfill our mission of helping others in the future.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to turning this challenging chapter into one of hope, resilience, and possibility.

With heartfelt thanks,

Friend in Need.

URGENT Fund for essentials

I have gone through several request of others round the world and I almost think my situation is not even worthy to put out there. I wish I could be in the position to send help to others but this is where I find myself right now.

Right now, I am facing a critical need for emergency money to cover bills, car repairs, and my driving test due to an unfortunate combination of circumstances: I haven’t been able to secure work shifts for weeks, and while I’ve been actively trying to land a new job or even a passive income, the process takes time. This situation has left me in a precarious position, struggling to keep up with essential expenses like food, rent, and basic needs.

The lack of income has created a domino effect on my financial stability. Without steady shifts, I’ve fallen behind on utility and rent payments, which puts my housing and basic services at risk. Missing even one bill payment can have cascading consequences, such as late fees, reduced credit scores, and the possibility of disconnection of vital services. This pressure is not only financial but also emotional, as the stress of trying to make ends meet without sufficient resources weighs heavily on me. Covering these overdue bills is essential to prevent further deterioration of my financial situation and to ensure that I have a stable environment to focus on finding new employment.

Adding to the urgency is my car, which is in desperate need of repairs (I was able to get the needed part but need funds to take it to the shop). My car isn’t just a convenience; it’s a necessity. Reliable transportation is critical in light of the current weather conditions, potential shifts that might come up on short notice, and everyday tasks like grocery shopping and medical appointments. Without a functioning car, my ability to expand my job search radius or even attend interviews is severely hampered. Public transportation may not be a viable alternative due to limited routes and schedules in my area, making the car repair an unavoidable expense. Ignoring the repairs will only make the problem worse and more expensive in the long run.

While I’ve been doing everything in my power to improve my situation, the job market has been challenging. I’ve updated my resume, applied to numerous positions, and followed up with potential employers. Despite these efforts, the process of securing a new job takes time, and even once I’m hired, there’s typically a delay before the first paycheck arrives. In the meantime, my bills continue to pile up, and my car remains unusable. This gap between expenses and income has created a financial emergency that I cannot overcome without external assistance.

I work as a freelance graphic designer but there has been no paying gig, you can reach out and I will gladly take a paying gig. I am also exploring every avenue to address this crisis. I’ve looked into temporary gigs, borrowed small amounts from friends when possible, and cut down on all non-essential spending. However, these efforts can only go so far, especially when the costs of bills and car repairs exceed my available resources. Emergency funds would provide the immediate relief I need to stabilize my situation, pay overdue bills, fix my car, and maintain my ability to search for and secure a new job.

This situation has been a humbling experience, and I am determined to get back on my feet. With a bit of help, I can overcome this challenging period and work toward a more stable and self-sufficient future.

Thank you very much for your benevolence, and may God bless your kind heart.

Urgent Help for debt relief

Hi,i am a 21 year old student. I am an international student in Canada. my life is getting worse, don’t know what to do next. I had to go through many hardships, My father was a cancer patient for 12 years and I lost him 2 years ago. all our savings were gone for his treatments and at last he also went from us. After everything that happened, my family and I hoped everything would get better, so we took out loans and came to Canada. I had to find my tuition and living expenses as an international student in Canada. But now I am in a debt of about $40000. recently I lost my job where I worked for 1 year and they fired me without any reason, as an international student I can only work 24 hrs and that doesn’t meet any of my expenses. And I am trying to find a cash job. It’s hard to get one now. I also have to support my family back home. for the last 1 week, I have been struggling hard, I don’t have enough money to pay my rent for next month and have no idea what to do. I dropped out of 2 of my courses as I didn’t have enough money to pay the fees. I have borrowed $20000 for my college tuition from people my friends know. I told them I would return it by July, but I couldn’t. Yesterday one of those people came to see me and was very rude, he said he wants the money in 15 days or else he is going to file a police complaint, I don’t know what to do, I am terrified, if something like that happens they will deport me and I have nothing left in my life. I am trying my best to find some money by asking my friends and relatives. Please help me with whatever everyone can, god bless everyone.
