Foreclosure and utility shut-off notice

My dear friend Dawn is facing an incredibly difficult time. Within a short period, she has tragically lost both her beloved husband and her cherished dog to cancer. Her husband was the primary source of income, and now Dawn finds herself without her life partner and her loyal companion, navigating unimaginable grief and financial hardship alone.
Adding to this immense loss, Dawn is now facing the imminent foreclosure of her home. A payment of $16,000 is needed to bring her mortgage back into good standing and prevent her from losing the stability she has left.
Dawn also urgently needs to pay a $1,600 utility bill to prevent her power from being shut off, adding another critical challenge to her current struggles.
Just when things couldn’t seem to get any harder, Dawn’s car broke down and needs a new transmission.
In a determined effort to generate income, Dawn rented out spare rooms in her home. Unfortunately, multiple tenants have moved in and then stopped paying rent, leaving her to face the lengthy and costly eviction process without any financial relief.
Dawn is a resilient and kind person who has always been there for others. Now, she desperately needs our support to navigate this overwhelming crisis. Losing her husband, her dog, and potentially her home in such quick succession is an unimaginable burden for anyone to bear alone.
Please consider making a donation to help Dawn get back on her feet and provide her with some much-needed stability during this devastating time. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping her pay her immediate bills, address the foreclosure threat, and eventually repair her vehicle.

If you can offer any support, please donate directly to her PayPal account:

Your kindness and generosity are appreciated during this dark time. Thank you!!

Urgent Help Needed — Trying to Build a Better Life for My Son and Me

I never thought I’d be in this position, but I’m reaching out because I truly don’t know where else to turn.

For a long time now, I’ve been in an emotionally and verbally abusive relationship. It has taken a serious toll on my mental and physical health. I’m doing everything I can to protect my 9-year-old son from the weight of it, but he deserves better — he deserves a peaceful, loving home to grow up in.

Because of ongoing health issues, I haven’t been able to work full-time. I’ve been substitute teaching when I can, but it’s not enough to cover the mortgage or our basic needs. My husband has been out of work for two years, and the financial pressure is overwhelming. I feel completely stuck.

I’m asking for help so I can either afford to stay in our home on my own or find a safe, stable place for my son and me to start over. I also want to finish my bachelor’s degree so I can get a better job and provide long-term security for us. But right now, I can’t even afford to take that next step without help.

Any amount you can give — no matter how small — will go toward housing, bills, food, and school costs. It will give us breathing room. It will give me the chance to rebuild, to give my son the stability and care he deserves, and to finally move forward.

If you’re able to help, my PayPal is: paypal.me/shawntel1l

Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping if you can. Your support means more than I can put into words.

With gratitude,

Shawntel

I only asked that he be healthy….

When I was pregnant with my third and last son, I only prayed that he was healthy. I say this because his brother was born allergic to everything and severely asthmatic. On his third birthday we were celebrating his 200 visit to the Children’s Hospital for acute asthma attacks, allergies or food reactions. A few years later we found out he was Autistic. So, when I became pregnant 8 years later, I prayed over and over again that this little boy was just healthy. And he is, healthy as an ox… but was born profoundly deaf. Great, I got this! That we can manage and embrace. I soon after diagnosis fought the FDA, found a Dr to go rogue, and he was the first in our state to be implanted at 9 mos old. Just to then start a very long road of therapy appointments and need for technology.

What I was not prepared for, is the cross modal neuroplasticity. His body full of spidy senses and a nervous system on overdrive all of the time. I was not prepared for life to be so cruel to him in being bullied and treated with bias at every turn. I was not prepared that being prideful and staying employed rather than on the system…making barely enough to pay rent and the basics, choosing what not to pay in order to eat meant we would not qualify for any assistance or any help. I was not prepared for the fact that cochlear parts and upgrades are not covered by insurance. Nor are any of the technology adaptable devices. Basic hearing access and tools for school…also not covered. I was not prepared for the medical co-pays for OT, PT, Speech and Audiology to bring me to thousands of dollars in debt. In addition to the years of payment arrangements made for his brothers care. I was not prepared for his dad to lose his leg in a logging accident and become unemployed and on disability unable to contribute in a financial capacity. And most importantly I was not prepared to take a personal loan out with our car as collateral to be tricked into being told it was a fixed interest when actually accruing, to consolidate debt for yet again more medical procedures.

What I am and was prepared for was to work 3 jobs and 7 days a week. I am prepared to get less than 5 hours of sleep a night and work hard to raise three disabled kids. My oldest was in a car wreck and suffered a horrible TBI and plethora of long lasting physical injuries. In addition to my middle son who is autistic and medically fragile and then my Wolverine of a lil man born profoundly deaf, cross modal, color blind, and also autistic. I feel like I need to attach proof for as crazy as this all sounds. But it is my life. I live it. And still I go to work with a smile everyday, a work ethic that feels uncommon in my generation, a kindness and ability to see others in light of what they need and how I can help and an absolute love of being a mother to my boys. But this can’t be all that is to life? To work so hard to be so broke and never catch up or even catch a tiny bit of a break. I have been making a $700 loan payment each month and  less than $70 is going to principal. I am now 2 months behind and am at serious risk of losing our car. Our life line. There are no more hours in the day I can work and I am here…asking for help. Directly to the loan if preferred, a gas or grocery card or pay pal so that I can get caught up. Better yet, to help get the loan paid off! Thank you for reading and considering

Kidney Care Fund – A Personal Request

I’m reaching out to share a deeply personal journey and to ask for your support. I’m currently living with lupus, an autoimmune disease that has significantly impacted my health — especially my kidneys. Recently, my condition has required treatments and medications that aren’t fully covered by insurance, placing a financial strain on both me and my family.

Managing this illness comes with ongoing and often overwhelming costs — from medications and lab work to doctor visits and transportation. That’s why I’ve created this fund: to help cover these essential medical expenses and maintain my health and independence.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to stability and healing. If you’re unable to give, simply sharing this message means just as much. Thank you for taking the time to read, for caring, and for standing with me in this fight.

Sending love and gratitude!

Help Me Get Life-Changing Jaw Surgery – Any Support Means the World

Dear Friendsand future Supporters,

I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out with a humble request for support as I face a significant medical challenge. After 3 years of struggling with the broken upper jaw bridge and difficulty eating, I’ve been advised by my doctors to undergo corrective jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery).

The bridge that I had broke my upper jaw, and a lot of pus was coming out for 6 months. The infection seems to be cured, but this needs to be fixed.

This surgery isn’t just about improving my smile—it’s about restoring my ability to eat comfortably and live without constant pain. Unfortunately, my insurance won’t cover the dental cost, leaving me with overwhelming expenses:

– Surgery: $16,500

– Hospital fees: $5,000

– Post-op care/medications: partially covered $350

– Additional treatments (e.g., new implants, follow-ups): $35,000

I am asking only for surgery and hospital fees. It is not the time to think too far ahead about new implants. I had some money from my pension fund, but one of my daughters had a wedding two months ago, and majority of it went there.

Why I’m Turning to You:

I’ve always believed in the power of community, and right now, I need yours. No amount is too small—every dollar brings me closer to a healthier, pain-free life. If you’re unable to contribute financially, sharing this campaign with your network would mean just as much.

This surgery will transform my quality of life, and I’m deeply grateful for your consideration. Thank you for being part of my journey.

With heartfelt thanks,

Stan M

P.S. If you’d like to learn more about my condition or the procedure, I’m happy to share details. Please don’t hesitate to ask!

Hi, my name is Theo. I’m a single dad with two kids and would like a financial fresh start in life. I have credit card debt of $46,000 that has carried over from Covid, house repairs, divorce, and some medical expenses. I took a chance with some crypto investing, promising growth. I was desperate to get out of the hole I was in and lost $18,000 and fake, crypto platform. I am struggling to get ahead. I’m making progress but it is stressful if I don’t get enough hours at work. My credit cards have raise their interest rates and is making it harder for me. I have missed payments but caught back up just to then miss again. I’m tired of working so much to temporarily get ahead. I made mistakes and lessons have been learned. I’m down $64,000 over a five year span. Anything will add up and help. Thank you. Single Mom to my 2 kids and Granddaughter

Hello I’ve been trying to keep a roof over our heads. It’s been a struggle our only income is My Disability. First our only vehicle decided to get a cracked head gasket. Where we live there’s no public transportation so I’ve been having to pay people to take my Son back and forth to school, Dr appointments, grocery store and anywhere else we have to go.

The first of this month I was informed that the house we lived in was sold and we had 20 days to move. I had already had to pay the bit of extra money we had for rides back and forth everywhere.

I have literally exhausted every option I have to find and rent us another place to live and trying to fix our vehicle.

I’m humbly asking for any help at all. To try and raise the $1500 for first month rent and security deposit. My first priority is finding a place for the kids and I to live. Then I will try to figure out the vehicle situation.

I truly appreciate you even taking the time to read this and even considering to help.

Wanting a better today

Hi it started with me asking for a transfer to over side of the country, then being made redundant due to night work being canned and my partner pregnant with our second child so I went and did a 60 hour night shift to pay rent and bills and to look after my family.

Six months of doing this with 3 hours sleep my body could not cope so moved my family to Scotland renting a nice house in a small village. Everything seemed to be looking up. I got my partner and two children settled in Scotland and drove 8 hours on weekend too see my family and then 8 hour’s when I could getting ahead in rent and paying all bills ahead of needing paying. Did this for a while until I could not anymore and handed in my notice and moved to Scotland to be with my family. I looked online and found a few jobs applied and went for interviews. One thing or another I could not get job then a supermarket job came up applied and went to prove ID and birth certificate got damaged in my wallet and they could not except it and it was during COVID and could not get a replacement so said could not employ me.

I went and applied to work in a holiday camp as a money collector and apparently people do not last very long doing this I found out afterwards due to what it involves. Got job seasonal yippee. First year past ok and at end of season looked for work and found a dog food company so applied and started working for them over winter and enjoyed it. Then came really not well and found out I was allergic to deer antler what was one of there main products, so had to leave was very disappointed. Found out my partner was pregnant.

We had a home birth in a pool due to COVID  baby girl number three I love every single one of my children and work as hard as I can to provide for them

Next year started applied to join holiday camp again and this time I worked in there shop as well as money collection and near end of year said the warehouse could be done better as was a warehouser in past so I was aloud to strip and put knew shelving in the warehouse almost doubling the space. Time goes on and get full time contract at holiday camp I thought ok very hard work but it’s a job. Also found out my partner was pregnant again after our first holiday I was able to do for us.

Then the worst happens a team leader came to work with COVID and they said he had to work in warehouse where I was working and gave me COVID very badly. I lost my balance and my body got weak and almost lost my job as manager was not understanding. So as soon as I was better looked for another job while still working and found a job back at the same company I got made redundant from applied and got the job went and spoke to holiday camp manger and handed in my notice. During the period before moving to new job more and more was pushed onto me to get done and the last week before moving to new job my body gave up and hurt all my back and arm. I was devastated. I had to speak to the company and said I hurt my back and arm is it ok to keep job open they said sorry but no they needed someone to start now.

So lost new job and job at holiday camp thought no, I started to loose all the advance payments I had done bring rent to one month in advance and bills month by month before healing and finding a new job at a supermarket my baby was about to be born and was told I had the job. Yes.  Then the new we baby boy was born at home in the same birthing pool as my daughter and was ment to start work that week I called the company up as my baby boy had to go to hospital as one of his lungs was not inflating and was put in  a incubator in a room on his own. My partner stayed at hospital while I was looking after my three daughters and going to hospital every day with them. The company was understanding and kept my job open after about two weeks my boy was home but now starting to go in debt I started new job.

Was as hard as ever going back to work after a new boy was born but I did soon got given back door to do as well as shelf filling as was impressed with my work. Went free probation period and got offered two days felt destroyed after all I was doing. But excepted it as a job is better than none. So did overtime when ever it was possible to increase my wage. I managed to say and pay of debts but still could not get ahead again like I was.

I save for a family holiday and went on our second holiday my second ever holiday and went back to work and got food poisoning from a fast food shop as bought a treat for family and wish I had not and had to take time of work and putting me back into debt.  Some time went past after.

Then the worst happens I get a email saying you are going to be evicted due to owner was wanting to sell up…

I don’t have the money to get another property have no family that lives near and four children with another on the way and a partner and I am supposed to be providing for them.

The new baby was coming and I delivered him my self at home in the birthing pool that my other two was born in. Was amazing then 45 minutes later midwives turned up baby healthy but partner was ill she was rushed to hospital and they did tests and found a extra muscle on her heart. She came home and can’t do much and has to do more hospital visits to find out if anythink can be done.

Now I had a eviction notice delivered to the door by two people saying I have a choice finding £75,000 by July to buy from owner or leave. I spoke to my mum and told her the price and said I will pay her rent above the mortgage repayments if she could buy it so my family had a roof over there head. But my mum said she could not help us and can not get a mortgage so have to rent another three bedroom house.

So I have a family with five children 8 ,6 ,4, 1,0 and a sick partner being evicted and I only have a part time job but supermarket said they can give me a extra day permanently that will help but will not help with getting another property. I have never asked for help from strangers I have been the one that tries to help overs.

But now I am asking to anyone that can help I require help please as my children and partner means everything to me

Thank you for reading

I hope you are keeping well and having a happy life.

I need help to leave

I’m in need of help. I’m trying to leave a horrible situation. It’s not just your basic we don’t get along abuse story. For 10 years I was blinded by his charm. Until he started slipping up. Have you seen the movie gaslight? Started just like that but got worse. I was temporary blind due to cataract surgery. Wrote horrible things all over my clothes cuz I couldn’t see it. After my surgery  I started finding things. I started wearing make up and it smelled alot like dog shit cuz it was. In the mean time he is playing innocent

He got back with his exwife and she watches the house when he goes to work and watches me all day long

He convinced her I would tear his things up. But instead they are doing that to me. All of my personal belongings are ruined

I have a truck thst I don’t drive so its always on camera view at my dad’s gas station. I stayed home for 10 years taking care of his kids while they went out and started their new life together.  I wasn’t allowed to work so I have no money. I’m a kind and generous person who didn’t even know whst gaslighting was until 2 years ago. I deserve a better life. He is always one step ahead. There are too many situations to describe.  I was raised in a good home and this would kill my dad if I told him

Please help me get a second chance. Here is my paypal. danne6491@gmail.com.  thank you for your time

A plea for help. Keeping our little home.

Dear Kind Souls,
Life can sometimes throw us curveballs that feel impossible to catch. For my three children and me, we’ve weathered many storms, always holding onto the dream of having a stable home again. After what felt like an eternity of obstacles, we finally achieved that dream three short months ago. The joy of moving into our own space, a place where my children could truly feel secure, was immense.
However, our newfound stability has been unexpectedly shattered. Our roommate suddenly became unable to uphold their part of the lease, leaving me, a single mother, to shoulder double the rent. We fell behind, and the weight of that financial burden was heavy. I worked tirelessly, sacrificing and scraping, and just managed to pay the accumulated back rent and the hefty $450 in late fees. For a brief moment, I felt a wave of relief and even dared to dream of replacing the car that broke down the very month we moved in.
But fate had another cruel twist in store. As I went to pay our current rent, I discovered my bank account had been completely emptied by an unknown party. Every single dollar was gone. Now, I’m left waiting for an investigation, unable to access any funds.
My world has crumbled. My landlord has issued a dreaded notice: pay or quit. The deadline looms, and I have no way to meet it. We have no car, nowhere else to go, and no family to turn to. The tears have been endless, the despair overwhelming.
A friend suggested I reach out here, and with a heavy heart, I am doing just that. It goes against every fiber of my being to ask for help from strangers. I’ve always prided myself on my independence and ability to handle things on my own. But now, I must swallow my pride and think of my children.
I am praying that someone, somewhere, might find it in their heart to help us. Your kindness could mean the difference between my family staying together in our home and facing eviction onto the streets with nothing and no one.
I would be eternally grateful for any support you could offer. Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your compassion, in any form, is deeply appreciated.
Sincerely,
A Mother in Need

Single Father Facing Eviction

Peace and love

I always keep my held high and find the silver lining when things seem to be upside down. Both my parents have transitioned to heaven and I have a 7yr old daughter that is looking for me as her knight in shining armor. I struggle to make ends meet. We don’t have much, but what we do have is love and God.
I have prayed and surrendered to God that the provisions will be made that we will not be homeless.
If anyone can find it in your heart to help us and keep us from being evicted can donate $3,500 for past due rent. I have no idea where we will go if I can’t pay it by the 16th of May.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
