A Desperate Cry for Help — Please Don’t Let This Be the End for Me

Life has a way of testing even the strongest among us, and right now, I’m at a point where I can no longer pretend to be okay. I’m writing this with a heavy heart, hoping someone somewhere can understand my pain and offer a helping hand  not out of pity, but out of shared humanity.

A few months ago, I became a victim of a cruel internet scam. I was desperate, trying to find a way out of some financial challenges, and I trusted the wrong people. What started as hope quickly turned into a nightmare. I lost every kobo I had and more money I was responsible for. That single mistake has now placed my entire future on the line.

I have until the end of July 2025 to pay back the money or face criminal charges. The EFCC is involved, and if I fail to return the money, I risk being thrown behind bars. Every day feels like I’m carrying a mountain on my shoulders. I can’t sleep. I can’t eat. I’m watching my life fall apart in slow motion, and I’m terrified.

This is not just about me  I have family depending on me, and the thought of them seeing me locked up for something I didn’t maliciously do is killing me inside. I’m begging, not because I want to, but because I have no other option. I’ve reached out to friends, sold everything I could, and exhausted every possible source of help.

If there’s anything you can do  no matter how small please, I need your help. I’m not proud of this moment, but I believe in the kindness that still exists in people. Your support can be the lifeline that helps me climb out of this darkness and rebuild my life with integrity.

Raising my own grandbabies.

Hello there. I don’t know if it was by chance or a sign that I just happened to come across this site so I am now relying on the kindness of strangers. I am a single 47 year old woman who has 6 daughters and a son that tragically passed away last year on January 26. He was born August 26, 1996. If anyone knows the loss of a child you know the pain and struggle it carries. I do however have 5 grandkids that are the light in my life when the world gets dark. A set of twin girls, Amari and Ember, not identical so easy to tell them apart that just turned 4 in April. Alazanna who just turned 4 in May. Rozair, the only boy, who is a St.Patty’s day baby and his baby sister, Zaria, who just turned 1 in April also. I raised Alazanna since the day she was born and have been keeping the twins for about a year a half now. Their Mom’s basically abandoned them in my care with no help from them whatsoever. They stop by and visit sometimes when they want food or money I don’t have. I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. My daughter with the two youngest stays with me because she’s also my babysitter since I could never afford daycare. I tried getting help for the older one’s but because my name is not on their birth certificate and I have no written statement or other kind of form from their mother’s I can’t apply for any funding for them. We basically live paycheck to paycheck. I work in a fast paced job that keeps me on my feet all day. We have no vehicle so I walk to work everyday. I’m still trying  to pay bills from January. Just covering enough to not have our power or heat cut off. I now pay $1775 a month and that does not include utilities. My daughter helps out to but we just barely get by every month. The cost of food and clothing for ever growing kids is also a struggle. I would like just one good day…no, one great day where I could take us all out and not have to worry about rent, utilities, food, work or my depression kicking in. I know my mental health needs some attending to but my main focus is the kids and making sure they have a roof over their heads and food in their bellies. It’s not their fault after all. 13 June this year our build in Dubai got in flames, the fire was brought to control after 36 hour and unfortunately my apartment got burnt to the ground without picking anything.  I have been self employed for most of my 11 years in the UAE and now everything is got without even clothes to put. After the incident I have been homeless at the summer time we’re temperature is more 40 degree Celsius a times. €12.000 because of hailstorm

I am 22 years old, got a house half a year ago and I went into €12,000 of debt because of a hailstorm… Hailstones, some as large as tennis balls, destroyed parts of my home, shattered windows, broke the roof tiles, dented the siding, and broke a skylight. My car was also badly damaged.

The repairs added up too fast. Roof replacement was around €7,000. Windows and skylight came to €2,300. The rest was for the siding repair, car windshield, bonnet and roof replacement and cleanup which added up to a little over €12,000 and that is money that I simply do not have. I work security which pays minimum wage and I am barely getting through the month as it is, now with all of these expenses, I am and will be going through the coming months/years with my bank account in the red.

I’ve tried my best to cover the costs using my savings, borrowing money from my aunt and my friends mom but so far I’ve only been able to cover €3,4k and my options have ran out. I am barely able to make the monthly payments for the expenses for repairs.

All I want is to pay this off and be able to breathe again, take my family to dinner and get my life back on track and I simply won’t be able to do that for the foreseeable future due to all of these payments.

Hi Everyone!

Trying to stay afloat. A personal plea for help.

Hello, I would just like to say thank you for taking the time to read my story. In today’s world, so few people take the time to truly listen or care — so from the bottom of my heart, I want you to know how much I appreciate this. The amount I am requesting  of $5,000.00 is to cover the cost of an attorney specializing in Family Law. I have been naive and trusted the legal system to do what they said . I see now that I need an aggressive attorney. Again , I am so appreciative .

This is the story of a little girl — my daughter — who is incredibly special. I’m honored and blessed to be her mother. She has been in my care her entire life and has always been deeply loved, nurtured, and protected.

My daughter was born with a rare condition called De Morsier Syndrome, also known as septo-optic dysplasia. This condition affects the development of the optic nerves in utero. Around the fourth month of pregnancy, every baby is given approximately 1.1 billion optic fibers. As development progresses, the body narrows that number down to about 1.1 million mature fibers — but in her case, she was left with significantly fewer, and the ones she has are underdeveloped. As a result, her vision is impaired, and she has spent her life navigating a world that doesn’t see her challenges the way I do — as a mother.

Later in life, she was also diagnosed with autism, adding another layer of complexity to her needs. I have been her only true constant. Her biological father walked away from us completely, and though the man I was married to for twenty years legally adopted her, he abandoned her emotionally and physically the moment I found the courage to leave him due to abuse. Her grandfather — my father — was the only consistent male figure in her life, and tragically, we just lost him. She’s not only grieving that loss, she’s doing it without the one person who has always been there for her: me.

But everything changed one day when an animal control officer — warned by a fellow officer that I might take legal action against him for violently injuring my small French bulldog — retaliated in a moment of rage. He threw my dog down a staircase like a football. Instead of being held accountable, the blame somehow turned to me. This unjust incident opened the door for false accusations and systemic failures that led to my daughter being illegally removed from my custody.

Despite there being no criminal charges, no evidence of abuse or neglect, and me completing every requirement set forth by the court — including a full home inspection and approval — my daughter has not been returned. Instead, she was placed into a facility, even though the court’s original order was for her to be placed with family. That order was ignored, and I have been fighting ever since to make things right.

I am desperately trying to raise $5,000 to retain a skilled attorney who will advocate for my daughter and help reunite us. This is not just a custody matter — it’s a matter of survival, mental health, and basic human dignity. My daughter needs to be home, surrounded by love, stability, and the specialized care only I can provide.

Please help this month June or beginning of July urgently need $60,000

Hello friend this is the first time I’m asking and even begging for money. I never ask for help but this time I urgently need help this month June or start of July. I live in Sacramento. I earn only $20 an hour. I live with family to help with rent.

Homeless working father

Hello I have been homeless since October 2024 do to a bad relationship. I owe $3,200 for an eviction so I can’t rent a place until that is paid. PLEASE Help Me Avoid Eviction After Accident

Hello, I am Kerry Gosler – a 74-year-old male with a spinal cord injury and on disability. Recently, I was involved in an auto accident in which I had to have a shoulder replacement and was fitted with a spinal cord stimulator and bone grafts and rods in my lower lumbar area. See x rays photo. Red arrows show damage and battery for the spinal cord stimulator. I have been unable to work. I was doing okay until the accident, and now I have $700 additional payments per month with auto payment, insurance, and warranty on the car – 2017 year. I have depleted my checking and savings just to stay afloat, and this coming month I will not be able to make my bills and fear being evicted from my home. This was my last resort. I have been trying to find a job – drove for DoorDash, but it was just too much on me and I ended up in the hospital. If you can just give something to help out, I would be most appreciative.
