I never thought I would have to do something like this, but I’m at a loss.

Until the middle of last year, I had a pretty big casino addiction, which I fortunately overcame, but it has had serious consequences for my financial situation. During my addiction, I had taken out several loans, which I am still paying off. I was coping with everything successfully, until I started having health problems. Last year, I was diagnosed with POTS. Fortunately, I do not have this disease in a severe form, but while I was going for tests, I had to miss a lot of work, which of course again affected my financial situation. Also, all the tests were very expensive, but somehow I managed to cover almost all the costs. At that moment, it seemed that I would finally start to get back on my feet, but I was wrong, the next problems came. At the beginning of this year, I experienced anaphylactic shock. This time, all the tests were longer and more expensive. I had to take days off, use vacations and sick leaves very often to be able to find out what caused the anaphylactic shock and what else could cause it. Unfortunately, while doing all the tests, I experienced a second anaphylactic shock. Considering that I had anaphylactic shock from medications that I had been taking for several years, I have to carry Epi pen injections with me all the time, which, unfortunately, are not cheap.

I am currently in a situation where, due to illness, I have been very late with my loan payments. I am already threatened with account blocking, which I cannot allow, because I have to take care of my dog, who is currently fighting severe bronchitis, and I also need new Epi pen injections, because I am currently carrying expired injections with me.

To get back on the road, I need about $3,000. I would like to add that I live in a small and not very wealthy country, where the average salary is around 1400€ before taxes, but the prices are like in a big metropolis.

I would really, really appreciate any, even the smallest, help so that I can at least help my dog ​​get better, because he is all I have. And I ASAP need new Epi pens, because mines are expired.

Hello.  Thank you for reading about my situation.  I’ve always been told I am a good and kind person.  I try to be.  I have a big heart and I try to always help others.  While these are good qualities to have, they also can be bad when others take advantage of my kindness and I don’t see it happening.

I currently have two roommates in the home I rent and we share the cost of rent.  One roommate is moving out in 2 weeks without notice because of the toxic and abusive man in our home and I will be on the hook for her share of the rent.  My other roommate is a man I was in a relationship with who is emotionally, verbally and physically abusive who I want to get out of my home as soon as possible and I will need to cover his portion of the rent, as well.  He is terrorizing me on a daily basis and I am scared to be around him, but I am unable to afford my home without him, at the moment, without some help.  I took him into my home to help him and show him love as he has no family and he has not only taken advantage of my kindness, but also has caused me extreme emotional distress and even crippling anxiety and physical health difficulties that do not allow me to work as much as I have been able to in the past.

If you’ve read this far, maybe you will be willing to read a little further?  I am a single, widowed, 56-year-old Mom of a grown daughter and I am a hardworking, dedicated and proud human, so asking for help is not something that is comfortable for me.  I am a shell of the vivacious, happy and hopeful person I once was, but I want to bring myself out of this darkness with your help.  I had a successful business before my husband passed away, but I lost my business when I could not keep it going alone as a result of my current situation.  I work as a food delivery driver and personal shopper, but the work in this industry is slow right now and my health issues and needed car repairs have sidelined most of that work and I will soon not be able to afford the rent on my home I have lived in for over 25 years as well as basic necessities and food.  I continue to do everything I can to make ends meet, but I am coming up short.  I have taken on small jobs like dog sitting and anything I can do and I have reached out for help to local charities and churches and every organization that can offer help, but I have not received the help I need.  I am looking for new roommates, but that has not been successful to this point and is on-going.

Veteran needing a miracle

It’s hard to ask for help, but I’m doing it for my sister, my 6-year-old niece, my 3-year-old nephew, and myself.

A year ago, we lost our mom. She was the heart of our family. She was the one who always made sure we were okay, no matter what. Losing her broke us in more ways than one. Emotionally, we’ve been trying to heal; financially, it’s been a constant struggle to stay afloat.

Since her passing, both my sister and I have faced periods of unemployment. We’ve been doing everything we can to provide for the kids, to keep their lives as normal and safe as possible, but lately, it’s been getting harder to keep up with rent and bills. Every month feels like a race we’re barely finishing, and now, we’re falling behind.

Three months to live

 My Pop’s was diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer in February of 2024 The doctor’s told us he has a good chance of beating it if we hit it hard with chemo and radiation

They said it will make him sick of course but he has a good chance of beating it. For the next few months that’s what we did Chemo took a lot out of him but we were not giving up Come September we received the good news his cancer was in remission Thank God then two days later I was in a bad accident and fractured my back and can’t work  bill’s piling up and I’m about to lose everything And by the grace of God everything starts to turn around or so we thought on July 8th 2025 I had to take my pop’s to the emergency room he was peeing blood After being seen The doctor came out and told me I need to take him home Call hospice there’s nothing they can do for him the cancer returned with a vengeance it’s all through his body in his blood and bones there’s nothing more they can do they gave him 6 months to live His six months will be up in January and we don’t think he will make it until then. We have a short time to make funeral arrangements for him but have no money to do it. I have no one to ask it’s just us I’ve been making phone calls and the only help I’ve found was Social security will give me $250.00 when he dies to help with the final costs.  He doesn’t want to be cremated because he’s afraid his spirit won’t be at rest if he is.And a funeral service cost over $10.000

Need help with taking care of my kids with unexplained health problems and missing work

first of all, I would like to say thank you for taking the time to read this. I am a single mom to two kids, who just got diagnosed with POTS. It is a heart condition/form of dysautonomia. I bave actively been working during this time, but it has cut my time down from 45 to 15 hour weeks most weeks due to heart rate elevation. New financial beginning

I have always figured myself to be a smart decision maker and someone  who works hard to get themselves out of difficult situations. Can you help my cat that got badly burned?

Hello to whoever will actually read this!

 

I feel awkward writing here as I never asked for money before even when at one point I was homeless but I need to do it for my cat who saved my life before.

 

My cat, Kira, got burned by someone who thought it’ll be fun to start a fire in a dumpster but didn’t know that it could actually cause a small explosion. My lovely kitten got hit with a burning bit of tar on her ear and half of her head and it left her with awful sores that bleed constantly and get infected. We have an amazing vet but struggling to help her as she’s in so much pain and constantly trying to scratch and lick the sores, already destroyed multiple collars and whatever we try to put on her paws.

The vet said we can try for a surgery to remove the ear which won’t function anyway, and a skin graft on her head which will stop the bleeding and should heal faster but it’s really expensive. Every single visit costs us £150 plus any medication or extra service on top of that. I already spent over a thousand, which used up all my savings, then sold what I could and now almost stopped eating. 

 

The surgery would cost £2890!!

 

I am grabbing any extra work possible but also can’t leave her alone at home for long as every time I get back she is again covered in blood… but she’s a fighter and I can’t let her die.

5 years ago we had a gas leak and she felt something was wrong and woke me and my mum up and got us out to safety by meowing terribly, so we owe it to her!

 

I don’t know if this will bring any help but I need to try whatever I can to save her, so if you can donate even a couple pounds I’d be eternally grateful!

Desperate for help

Hi there,

I’m sorry to even have to ask this of anybody, but I genuinely don’t know what else to do. My name is Hannah, and I am 25 years old an an aspiring writer. I currently work full time as a paraprofessional in an elementary Lifeskills classroom, and I absolutely love my job, but it does not pay nearly enough for what is going on in my life right now. A few year ago my mom also ended up with COVID-19, and it almost killed her. She was in the hospital on an oxygen tank for a week, and after she recovered she found out she has significant damage to her memory and ability to focus. We believe she was oxygen deprived and suffered some kind of brain trauma as a result, and this eventually pushed her to make the difficult decision to retire from her job of 30 years as a supervisor in the department of welfare. She is currently on disability, but she only now makes a fraction of her former salary.

As for what I really need help with- my father was in a terrible car accident a few months back, and alongside several major surgeries was placed into a temporary coma. He is back home now and thankfully alive, but his hospital bills are so much more than either of us can handle alone. I am truly desperate for this help. I am in the process of moving into my first apartment and still paying for school online, and my mom is putting every spare cent she has aside to try and pay off the bills. I also work a full time job on top of going to school online, but I am unable to put even a dent into the bills he has. He is the owner of his own business which is a fireplace/chimney company that he started completely by himself from the ground up, and this is the main source of his income. He only has 2 or 3 employees that he pays whenever they are available to work for him, but the majority of the time he is out working alongside them. He is slowly recovering but still completely unable to work or provide any further income than what he has saved away. My parents will never be able to afford the bills they have piling up right now, and I know how scared they are and how much they are struggling. If there is any way someone would be able to help me pay off the hospital bills I would forever be grateful. I would need approx. $35,000
