Maybe, like me, you grew up with little to no support or encouragement from your parents— always told to play it safe, be practical, and do what’s “right” by family or society’s standards.
You followed the rules. You checked the boxes.
And yet… something’s missing.
For years, I did what was expected of me. I pushed down my own dreams to make others comfortable. I stayed in environments that didn’t reflect who I was — out of fear, duty, or just plain old comfortable and familiar habit.
Well, it’s over for that!
Now, I’m choosing freedom.
I’m choosing authenticity.
I’m choosing to build a life that feels true — not just familiar.
That starts with an incredible opportunity to go to France to study abroad— a language immersion program that aligns deeply with the person I’m becoming and the life I want to live. It’s a bold pivot, but one I feel called to make.
However, I’m facing a tight deadline: tuition is due by DECEMBER 1st — and without family support, I’m relying on the kindness of people like you to help me get there.
