Need Help After Death of Roommate

Hello, my name is Troy and I am in need of help after my roommate passed away. I now need $3500 to get back on track for my rent.

I had a roommate starting at about October of last year. I worked with her and we began living together. Unfortunately, she passed away in late July. I was the one who found her passed in her room and I had to contact her family, the job, and her friends to notify them of what happened. I ended up taking days off from work while attending grief counseling through my job.

My landlord was also told about the death and she informed me that the August rent still wasn’t paid. I had given my roommate my half of the rent but because I wasn’t her family, I wasn’t able to get into her account to pay the rent and it was all going to her daughters so I didn’t want to put any more stress on the family. I scrounged up the money needed to pay the rent and was broke for the rest of August and the beginning of September.

My landlord allowed me to put a credit towards the rent by saying it was payment for October but September rent was racking up late fees. However, she told me she was unable to do that again. Now, I am in need of that money to stabilize my housing as she just contacted me today that she will have to move forward with eviction.

If you are able to spare anything, thank you for doing so. If you aren’t able to do so, thank you for at least reading this.

Single Mom & Nurse Practitioner Rebuilding After Financial Abuse & Fraud

💜A mom and nurse practitioner recovering from years of financial control and fraud — working hard to rebuild, protect her kids, and create a healing mission for other women.

For more than fourteen years I’ve been living in survival mode, doing my best to keep life steady for my children while facing financial control, emotional abuse, and identity theft within my marriage.

I’m a nurse practitioner who has always cared for others, but behind the scenes I’ve been trying to recover from years of financial manipulation, suspected fraud, and large debts created under duress. Despite a major income drop last year, I’ve continued working full-time, raising my kids, and covering the legal costs to protect my name and rebuild our future.

I’m seeking help with legal fees, debt from identity theft, and loan costs that have kept me from getting ahead. I’m doing everything I can to fight back and create a stable foundation again — both for my children and for a future project I’m building called Second Chance Healing, a faith-based wellness mission to help other women recover from financial and emotional abuse.

Any contribution, big or small, goes directly toward paying my lawyer, validating debts tied to identity theft, and keeping my household stable while I rebuild.

Even if you’re unable to assist financially, your prayers are just as important. Every prayer spoken and every kind word sown is a seed of hope that helps me keep going. Thank you for walking beside me through this season of rebuilding — your compassion is helping turn survival into strength and pain into purpose. 💜

My Mom Adriana, 91 years old disabled lady

My name is Fabry and this is my sad story.

I had to go abroad to work (for the last 15 years) due to lack of employment in my country; Brazil, Spain, UK, Portugal just to name a few…..

My father passed away when I was working in London, about 10 years ago and, as I’m the only son, I had to go back to my country to help my mom to recover emotionally from the loss. She never worked in her life because in the 1930s there was the old mentality saying that the man had to work while the woman had to take care of the house and the sons, so following the law, she had the right to receive only the 70% of my father pension. After spent 6 months with her and some of my savings to help her with the bills, I went back abroad to work. Five years ago, my mom’s health conditions got worst: diabetes, which caused her a big loss of hearing, decreasing of heart health and walking instability. This last issue caused my mom starting to “live” on a wheelchair, also due to a worsened blood circulation in her legs muscles. Obviously she couldn’t afford to “hire” a nurse 24/7 for her low pension level, so I had to quit the job again and go back to my country to take care of her. Two years ago, she also suffered a worsened lungs condition and the hospital doctor prescribed to her a home oxygen therapy 24/7 and insulin injections that I myself am giving to her. A special courier delivers a 60-liter oxygen tank every 3 days.

Obviously all these treatments have a big cost and I was able to afford them until now, but unfortunately my savings are finished and as I had to quit my job, I don’t have another source of income, I don’t have friends in my country because I lived abroad for work and my mom doesn’t have other family members, that’s why I’m here to beg any kind souls, everywhere, to donate something to help my mom…..

Any donation is REALLY REALLY appreciated…..

Thank you very much to anybody who read until the very end.

God bless you.

The target is: $30,000

Fighting Alone: Hospital Won’t Help After Chemo Complications.

My Name is Tim.

I was being treated by Shand’s for cancer. They started me on a BEP treatment but had to switch to an EP treatment as the BEP put me in the hospital. While in the hospital My cancer doctor told me if I did not follow through with his recommendations to be on the BEP treatment that I would die. His exact words.
A few weeks after the treatment was done, I developed long nerve peripheral neuropathy. I have lost use and feeling in my hands and feet. Lost dexterity as I cannot fully feel what I am doing with my hands and feet. Everyday tasks have gotten difficult and even driving
is dangerous as I can barely feel the pedals. Not to mention that even almost a year later I still have brain fog, partial POTs and some memory issues from the chemo as well. The memory issues along with the neuropathy are starting to affect my job as I am an
Information systems manager and have to use my hands and think critically daily.
It has taken months to see their neurologists and the two I have seen both said all these problems are most likely from the chemo or are consistent with the chemo. They also said that it will not get better as it is nerve damage. The hospital knows they made a mistake and will not do anything about it. Plus lawyers will not touch Shand’s as they have Sovereign Immunity under Florida State Law. Not sure what else to do as my doctors are talking about putting me on disability. I wont be able to afford my home or anything if they do so. I’m looking to get help wherever I can to make life easier when they put me on disability. I don’t want to lose my home or vehicle.

single mother of two sons in the military and a daughter in college, I am seeking a small donation to improve our family’s quality of life. Your support would greatly assist us in navigating the challenges we face and help us achieve a more stable and fulfilling future.

I am the mother of a Marine and an Army soldier, and my daughter is currently attending college. At present, I find myself homeless, living with my sister in her small house where we share a single bedroom. My daughter is staying with a relative, while my sons are working far from home. Recently, I secured a stable job and obtained a certificate that will assist with the down payment on a house; however, I still need approximately ten thousand dollars to cover the closing costs. My goal is to provide a home for myself, my daughter and create an additional room for my sons to share when they return from duty. Both my sister and I require our own space, making this move essential for our well-being. If a donation exceeds ten thousand dollars, it will be allocated towards reducing either the interest rate or the principal amount, thereby ensuring that my payment remains manageable.

Thank you.

đź’” Please Help Me Save Our Home Before December 10th đź’”

My name is Yvette, and I’m a mother of three beautiful children who mean the world to me. For years, I’ve worked tirelessly to provide a stable and loving home for them, sometimes juggling three jobs just to make sure they never went to bed hungry and always had a roof over their heads.

But life took an unexpected turn. Earlier this year, I became seriously ill and was unable to work for several months. As I fought to recover, the bills piled up, and I fell behind on my mortgage. Despite my best efforts and every prayer I could pray, I now face something I never thought would happen, our home is going into foreclosure on December 10th, 2025.

I’ve recently started working again and am slowly rebuilding my strength, but my income right now just isn’t enough to cover the past-due amount of $85,000 that’s needed to bring my mortgage current and stop the foreclosure.

This home is all we have. It’s where my children took their first steps, where we’ve shared family dinners, birthdays, and countless memories. Losing it would mean losing the heart of our family and having nowhere else to go.

I’m humbly asking for help, any amount, big or small, will make a difference. Your generosity could be the miracle that keeps a family together under one roof.

If you can’t give, please share this story with others who might be able to help. Every prayer, every share, every dollar brings us one step closer to saving our home.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing with us during this painful and humbling season. 🙏

Goal: $85,000
Deadline: December 10, 2025

Please help me get out of debt – financial crisis

Like many others on here, I am financially struggling

I work full time as a qualified nurse, working in the community, visiting people in their homes, I help people every day for a living.

I have 2 young boys 4 & 6, recently single mum

I am in ÂŁ10k worth of debt, and unable to meet the minimal payments for these, any help whatsoever would be appreciated.

I just want to be financially free, I very often will pick up extra shifts at work but I’m missing out on my boys childhood.

I have been in a very dark place 2025, suicidal thoughts, counselling and had 2 months off sick from work at the begging of the year, which i cannot afford to do if i go through another mental crisis.

Sometimes i feel like my boys would be better off without me, but i know i have to stay strong for them. paying off my debts would answer my prayers.

Needless to say, I’m in desperate need of financial help. I can no longer maintain all these payments. My paychecks are only enough to cover my mortgage and a few bills. I just need help getting rid of the debt to get back on my feet and restart to fully move on and heal from all my hardship.

I just turned 30 in April and i want to live again,

💔 Help Me Stay in My Home — Urgent €4,000 Rent and Bill Support Needed

Hello everyone, I am reaching out for help during one of the most difficult times of my life.

Earlier this year, in March, I was made redundant from my job. Since then, I’ve been doing everything possible to get back on my feet, applying for roles in cleaning, customer service, care work, social services, and hospitality but I haven’t been successful until very recently. I’ve now secured a carer job, and I’m still actively searching for more work to increase my income.

Unfortunately, my savings have run out, and I’ve fallen three months behind on rent and bills. I’ve tried applying for a loan, but I didn’t qualify. I also don’t have any family I can turn to for financial help. Right now, I’m at real risk of losing my accommodation, and that’s something I’m desperate to prevent.

I’m hoping to raise €4,000 to clear my rent arrears and pay my overdue bills, so I can keep a stable place to live while continuing to rebuild financially.

Every single euro will go directly toward:

  • Rent arrears (3 months)
  • Electricity and gas bills
  • Basic living expenses until my next pay cycle

This support means more than just money. it’s a lifeline that will give me the breathing room I need to stand back up and move forward.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who donates, shares, or even takes a moment to read my story. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to me. ❤️

Hard Times

Hello,

I am asking for 1,200 dollars to help pay my past due car payment and electric bill. It has been a very rough year for my family. My father passed away, my son tried to commit suicide, and my youngest has been in and out of doctors appointments and hospital visits due to being sick. I’ve had to take numerous unpaid days to be there for my kids. I work 60+ hours a week, make too much money for any assistance.. but feel like I just can’t get ahead. Unfortunately, I had to choose between car paymens or groceries. The anxiety is crippling wondering how I am gonna make ends meet. Anything is appreciated.

Why I’m Asking for a Hand Up, Not a Handout

Why I’m Asking for a Hand Up, Not a Handout

Life has a way of humbling us and reminding us that strength sometimes means asking for help. Recently, I lost my job, and that sudden loss of income has placed me in a position I never expected to be in — fighting to keep a roof over my head and stability for my son and myself. I’m not looking for pity or a way to avoid responsibility. What I’m asking for is simply a hand up — a chance to stay on my feet long enough to rebuild and regain my independence.

Right now, I’m about two weeks away from facing possible homelessness. My most urgent goal is to prevent that by catching up on essential expenses such as rent, utilities, my phone bill, and internet access. These aren’t luxuries — they’re necessities that allow me to search for work, apply for jobs, and stay connected to opportunities. Without them, I lose the ability to move forward. To stabilize my situation and stay current through the next billing cycle, I need between $2,000 and $5,000. That amount would allow me to bring my past-due bills up to date, keep my home secure, and give me the breathing room to rebuild my income stream.

After years of depending on employers and unpredictable job markets, I’ve realized I can’t keep placing my family’s livelihood entirely in someone else’s hands. This experience has opened my eyes to the importance of creating something of my own — a business, a skill, a sustainable source of income that can’t be taken away overnight. I’ve been learning about low-cost online business models like dropshipping and digital reselling, hoping to start small while I continue to look for traditional employment.

More than anything, I want to be a positive example for my 15-year-old son. He’s at a crucial age, watching closely how I respond to this challenge. I want him to see that adversity doesn’t define you — how you respond to it does. I want him to see that asking for help is not weakness, but courage. And most importantly, that when life knocks you down, you don’t give up — you get back up, work harder, and rebuild stronger.

Your donation would make a direct, meaningful difference. It would not only help me avoid homelessness and cover basic needs, but also empower me to stay connected and focused on rebuilding my future through hard work and perseverance. I’m not asking for a handout — I’m asking for a hand up, a bridge to stability, and the chance to stand on my own again.

Thank you sincerely for your time, kindness, and consideration.

Please Help My Financial Crisis

Hi. My name is Stella and I am a domestic abuse and sexual assault survivor in the military.

I was married to a veteran prior to joining the military. That ended up in a very messy divorce in November of 2023. While I was getting help from my leadership, they also had ulterior motives and ended up putting me in even more hardship than I could’ve ever imagined.

Over a year prior to my divorce, I had moved out from my house with my ex for my own safety and well-being, but he refused to help pay rent and bills after I left. I had no choice other than to pay double rent and bills to ensure my background/credit stayed intact. He had already racked up $27K in credit debt on his own that I proved through bank statements of card usage while I was in training.

Due to moving out for my safety, I was unable to collect my belongings and all the household necessities I bought. They were either sold or taken when he had moved out at the end of the rental agreement.

My vehicle was totaled from a rear-end and I can’t afford to get a reliable car or even fix my current car due to all the payments I have to make. My credit score has dropped significantly in the past couple of years trying to keep my head above water.

I’ve had a series of unfortunate events since I was 18. I was even homeless for a year since I have no family to turn to, but I’ve never had financial issues until the divorce.

I had a leader that guided me in the wrong direction and gave me wrong information on what to do and how to make this situation easier. I won’t get into detail on that, but it was a ploy to keep me where they wanted me and sheer laziness in getting paperwork done to ensure I didn’t owe money back to the government.. I am getting a huge chunk of my pay taken from me monthly now.

Needless to say, I’m in desperate need of financial help. I can no longer maintain all these payments. My paychecks are only enough to cover rent and a little more than half my bills. I just need help getting rid of the debt to get back on my feet and restart to fully move on and heal from all my hardship.

All the funds will be used to pay towards the loans I needed for lawyers, moving costs (I’ve moved 4 times in the last two years) and credit debt incurred throughout this process, as well as getting my car fixed.

Thank you in advance and may you receive good health and happiness.

Siezures From Overwhelming Stress

I have a bit of an issue, and I typically hate asking for help (Let alone money), but I’ve run out of options and don’t really know what to do.  I’ve been having issues with bills and debt as of late, and ordinarily, it wouldn’t be something I’d reach out for help for, but it’s taking a turn for the worse.  Recently, my car completely shut down, and it will take $5k to fix on top of the bills I already can’t afford. I would sell my car and buy a new one with the money, but nobody is willing to buy it. The parts that need repairs are worth more than what the car is worth. This has resulted in me walking 12 miles to and from work with occasional rides. This was unbearable, but I forced myself to think positively. I tried to think of it as a much-needed exercise; however, positive thinking could only get me so far. My job began to see it as a hindrance and began to write me up, even after I explained my situation to them. This led to me eventually losing my job, my only source of income. This, as you can imagine, quickly became the breaking point. I was jobless, without a car, and the bills were piling up higher and faster. Nobody wanted to hire someone without a car, and every job I applied to denied me without an interview.

As if things couldn’t get any worse, I began to spiral into a mental breakdown, which led to having a seizure in the middle of my parents’ living room. Growing up, I’ve always had a history of seizures because of the tumors on my brain that still remain to this day. It’s because of my tumors and the threat of seizures is why I’ve gotten decent at regulating my stress levels. I haven’t had a seizure since early high school, but I think these past couple of months have caused me to exceed my tolerance threshold for stress. Between medical expenses, my car, and other accumulating debt, I’m 22k in the hole, and I don’t know what to do. I’m afraid of having another breakdown and seizing on the floor again from stress. Please, I beg anyone willing to read and help, I’ll take any amount I can get with open arms. Thank you regardless of the circumstance!
