Hello, We are a young family of 4 from WV. We have 2 children, a 4 year old girl, a 2 year old boy and my wife is about 8 months pregnant with a baby girl.
At the beginning of December, We were served an eviction notice and attended eviction court. We were given until January 1st to be completely moved out of our home. We’ve lived here for going on five years and it was our very 1st home together.
I work over 50 hours a week so we usually never had a problem paying the bills on time. This year my landlord raised the rent multiple times and the utility prices have went up significantly. Around we August we first started paying bills late. We survived until last month and this month when our utilities were facing cutoffs and we couldn’t make the rent payment.
We went to court on December 4th, and was required to move out by January 1st.

We saved all of our funds and were confident we could find a new place in that time and have the money from not paying rent this month. Unfortunately our bills again received cutoff notices and we had to pay those so our family didn’t go without water or electricity. After paying those and not pulling as many hours at work from the hollidays, We are close to flat broke.
We have 2 more days here and we have nowhere else to go unless we can come up with enough to get into a new place.
We never usually ask for help but at this point we’re out of options and I’d do anything for my pregnant wife and kids not be homeless out in the cold. That would be devastating and unsafe .

If anyone who reads this would like to help our family from being homeless, it would be life saving and we would be forever appreciative. We are desperate and only 2 days from being out in the cold with no place to go. If anyone could help with anything at all it would mean everything and would be saving us from massive devastation.

I would like to start out by saying that I will do anything for my daughter. My 3 year old daughter for the last year has had constant ear infections and colds, with trips to the ER and Urgent cares every week. Finally after seeing ENT they said she needed surgery, which she got this year. I have had to result to credit cards to take care of her. I was doing well before this medical episode happened with no debt. I am saddened because I am a police office and I also take care of others and give them tools to succeed which is great. The sad part is the position I have been put in. Again I will do anything for my daughter and I don’t regret it, it’s just hard to bounce back. Anything helps and is appreciated

Hello My name is Leah.  I am a hot mess; I was in a toxic relationship where January 2023 my boyfriend at the time hit me and broke my neck. My life will never   be the same. I never knew what i did for him to act out with so much hatred towards me. The violence seem to have came out of nowhere. I caught him with another woman so I calmy went to his parents (where we Have been staying) I gathered my things and my son and i loaded as much as i could fit in my mustang convertible it wasn’t much thank god. He didn’t notice I was gone till 3 in the morning . I didnt know where i could go so i went to my job site.  when i heard a knock on the door i knew exactly who it was. i went to answer it but something stopped me and told me to get something to protect myself so i did. i grabbed a knife i opened the door for no one to be there. I take a step into the dark nightwith my arm fully extended out and this knife pointed directly   infront of me.  scared half to death not knowing what is going to happen. i peered around the corner of the house to see him just standing by my car. i yelled  at my daughter to go inside as he fastly approached me and got right in my face. My daughter now screaming bloody murder cause she knows what he has done before. He kept asking me ” you broke into my parents home”? Thats obsurd i didnt cause any damage to anything I got my clothes and left everything else. I told him to get back as im trying to get my daughtr back inside. He blurtrd out “I will lay yu out just like i did your momma” I held the knife so tightly as i demanded him not to take another step closer, I seen his pupils change as i knew i had to  protect my daughter and myself. I pulled the knife out of the side of his body ran to the door and slammed it shut before i could lock it he was trying to break it down. I told my daughter to call 911 but she couldn’t do anything but scream i couldn’t hold the door back any longer I grabbed the phone from my daughter’s hand for it all to be over. I talked to the 911 lady explained what happened andI needed the cops. I smoked a cig not knowing if it would be my last .I spent 4 long freezing hours at the police station being questioned about the details of what just happened tonight. When the detective came into the room he calmly asked so what happened tonight, I replied in order for you to understand my actions tonight I have to go back TO January. i told him of all the abuse and violence i had suffered I was not acting out in hate or rage i was simply protecting my daughter. the whole thing felt like i was in a dream like an out of body experience. I am now homeless, and my mom is too (she was renting a room from his sister) She was asked to vacate the premises due to conflict of interest and awkward.  My life is so messed up now.  I need a lot of help I need a place to call home and i need dental work badly.  am in pain daily and now struggle to work day to day. I trigger migraines weekly. I can’t do what I use to do to provide for my family. I do home renovations but am forced to find different work. When I heard about this website I was going to create an account to ask for help with my dental, my teeth are progressively getting worse. My name is Sunny like the Sun! I just moved to Cali and unfortunately my California dream is still a dream.. I thank God and Everybody that helped me through the road-trip from ATL to LAX.  Shout out to my amazing Girlfriend, Gabi, she was the driver! hehe

While being in LAX, we had to adapt quickly. From learning the lingo, the street, the town, the roads. You can name it! However, nothing beats the EXPENSIVE gas and cost of living!!

Me and My Girlfriend came to Cali with enough money for gas in the tank and more. We’ve been door-dashing EVERYDAY, just to make enough money for the Car note, Car insurance, Car Gas. Let alone, food and other expenses.

We are now 3 Car notes behind. Our Car Note is $515 from Carmax a month! In California, the car insurance is high as well! Especially because we are in our 20s. Our car insurance is another 500$ a month. Our phone bill is $200, since it is both of us.

On top of that, we are trying to look for housing. We are living in the car, but can’t afford to soon. We are scared our car will get repossessed. As we are doing everything we can to keep Carmen (Our Car). I am trying to get a job but the process has been slow. Especially during holiday season, A lot of companies aren’t hiring as fast per usual.

The car bill alone is eating us alive. Literally. You can only eat McDonald’s so much.. You get sick of it. The happy meals don’t even make you happy anymore.

I’m Brandon and can’t seem to find any work. I heard over qualified because I have a masters degree in aerospace administration and logistics. The only work I’ve found is hauling RV’s and it barely pays my truck payment, insurance, and phone. I lost my house because I couldn’t afford the rent and now live in my truck. I just turned 23 and am attending school again. This is the third time I’ve attended college due to financial issues. I’ve grown up in a dysfunctional family with an abusive parent. My mother never raised me. Yes, I had a roof over my head and food on the table, but she never prepared me for adulthood. She never instilled values in me, discussed college and careers with me, or even how to be a wife and a mother of my own one day. I am an only child and she literally shut me from the rest of the world growing up. I wasn’t socialized, so I didn’t know how to make friends and she didn’t have me in any extracurricular activities after school. She didn’t even take me to church. Everything I know now I learned from watching tv and YouTube videos. I’ve always heard the saying that we’re supposed to honor our parents, so I spent my entire life just trying to please my mother. It was not until recently that I discovered by listening to Pastor Joel Osteen that I was taking that phrase too literally. I know now that I’m only required to respect my mother and I don’t have to tolerate being abused by her. Even to this day, she does everything in her power to not let me out of her sight.

I’m now in my forties and I’ve finally learned that it’s not my responsibility to please my mother. My responsibility is to discover my purpose and live a life that pleases God. I have never been married, I’m single, and I don’t have any children, so it is time for me to have a life of my own. I live in the New York area, so rent is very expensive here. My plan is to move to a cheaper state across the country, so I can be as far away from my mother as possible. I would use the money for moving expenses, securing an apartment, and having a couple of months for living expenses until I can secure a job.

Hi. I have been struggling for the past 7 years since I came to America 2017. My grandmother kicked me out the house as soon I came out of high school 2018 haven’t been able to go to college some lady took me in but used me and put a lot of bills in my name and took a lot of stuff in my name. I owe debt that I don’t even know about when she was done using me she kicked me out and took my green card I tried telling the cops that night when she kicked me out but they didn’t listen to me. Honestly, it makes me feel very bad; I brought myself to this situation where I have to ask for financial help.

I believe that we are the cause of where we’re at in life. I made some great choices and some bad ones but I always get up, survive and “fight” to move forward, and not only survive but thrive and help others when I can.

This time I’m the one who needs a little help, so I can move forward and do things better but not only for me, I want to pay it back to the community and our families when I thrive.

These days I work for a hospital, been working there for about 3 years but it’s always the case that they either don’t pay enough or don’t give you enough hours.

At the moment, my car needs fixing, I don’t have the rent and I can barely survive with the paycheck I get.

Today, it’s Wednesday, 12.27.23, the rent is due by the first and all I have in my account is $30.

All I’m asking, is just a little financial help of $800, so I can pay my rent and not get evicted.

I will find a way to come up with money to fix the engine before it shuts down completely, I will find a different job that can better help me financially, I will move forward and with the help I will get from you, I’ll be able to pay it back in the future by helping others more.

Hello my name is alley, this is very hard to ask for help.But I have no other option.
