USMC COMBAT VETERAN-CAREGIVER FOR ELDERLY PARENTS

I am a Gulf War Veteran seeking assistance.  I am currently the caregiver for my mother a cancer survivor, and working outside the home at a humanitarian rate for a young family trying to get started.  Working on obtaining Veterans Benefits, I was informed it could take years.  While I was working, I helped many people in need without any expectation of a return.  I purchased 3 used vehicles for people to get back to work after covid.  I have zero debt, and would like to keep it that way.  With all the money I have out that was never repaid to the tune of $10000.00+.  I have never asked for any assistance in my life.  I know when I have asked in the past, no one is there.  I am asking now.  Leaving on May 2nd to get 81 year old father to VA, maybe last trip up to visit family.  Mom on minimum SSI, barely enough to cover utilities, etc.  I am humbled to the point of asking for help.  We have strived to make it on our.  Anything will help as I know many people are in desperate times.

Thank You, Semper Fidelis!

Urgent Request for Financial Assistance for Critical Home Repairs in Missouri

Dear Kind Hearted Donors,

I am writing to humbly request financial assistance for critical repairs to my home in rural Missouri.  Although I have worked hard to improve my home, I am facing significant challenges due to unforeseen circumstances which include a fallen tree bough that crashed through my roof in January of 2021. I was able to patch the roof but I have had to set aside other essential repairs and live as best as I can in these conditions.

Living in Missouri, where temperatures can fluctuate drastically throughout the year, a functional heating and cooling system is essential for comfort and well-being.  The heating and cooling system in my home stopped working in 2017 which has forced me to leave my home and stay with family and friends every winter since then. I return to my home in the spring with the warmer weather but also have to endure long, hot summers with only two functioning ceiling fans.  It’s been difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature inside my home at any time of the year.

I am also in need of ceiling repair, a hot water heater, insulated windows, flooring, safe entrance to my back door and foundation repairs. The lack of insulated windows exacerbates energy inefficiency and it is my hope to replace some of the windows with energy-efficient alternatives. I currently have a gaping hole in my living room ceiling  and the original flooring has suffered extensive water damage from water entering the roof in the 2021 incident. It is my hope that replacing Sheetrock in the ceiling and covering the original flooring with vinyl flooring would enhance the safety and appearance of the living space.

I removed an old deck with rotted wood in the rear of my home and discovered cracks, missing bricks and structural issues in the foundation.  I also have a storm door entryway with framing that has crumbled.  Addressing these foundation issues is paramount to prevent further deterioration and costly repairs down the line and I can create a much-needed balance to the climate of my home for my family.

I have two grandchildren and needless to say, I’m afraid to have my family come and visit because of potential safety hazards. Unfortunately, the financial burden of these critical repairs exceeds my current means, leaving me unable to address these pressing issues on my own. I’m 54 years old and as I get older, I realize that I may never be able to achieve these things without reaching out for help; thus I submit to your organization in the hopes of receiving assistance and restoring the safety and comfort of my home.

Your generosity and support would make an immeasurable difference and I’m immensely grateful for your consideration and any assistance you can provide.

Thank you for your time and attention to my request.

Sincerely,

Crystal Lawson

Desperate Plea for Help: Bail for My Son

Dear Friends,

I’m reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a plea for help. My son is currently in jail, and I’m desperately trying to raise $2,000 to pay his bond and get him out.  As an unpaid intern working tirelessly until I graduate from college, I simply don’t have the funds to cover the bond amount. Every dollar count, and I’m struggling to make ends meet.

Adding to our predicament, bond companies in Maricopa County only accept vehicles from the year 2010 or newer as collateral. Unfortunately, my car is a 2008 model, making it impossible for me to secure a bond using this asset.

My son is deeply remorseful for his actions and is committed to turning his life around. He recognizes his mistakes and is eager to work while awaiting his next court appearance. However, he can’t do so from behind bars.  He was going through personal struggles and homelessness, which clouded his judgment at the time of the incident. But he’s determined to make amends and deserves a second chance.

If anyone can find it in their heart to help us with the bail amount, I would be forever grateful. I’m willing to sign a written note and work tirelessly to repay the kindness shown to us. Any assistance, big or small, would mean the world to our family.   Please, if you can offer any support or know someone who might be able to, don’t hesitate to reach out. Your generosity could make all the difference in bringing my son back home and giving him the chance he needs to set things right.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Vianey Galvan

We need AC fixed in our Texas home before the summer- elderly and pets inside, please help!

Hello kind souls, I’m reaching out today for help after spending the last year trying to scrounge up the savings myself but unfortunately times are hard all around. We live in a home in Central Texas, south of Austin. Last summer was one of the worst I’ve had to experience and our central AC system failed us the year before. We had to survive the summer without AC using only a few window units that we could afford in the 2 story home. It was often 85-95 degrees inside the home unless you were in one of the small enclosed bedrooms, where it would cool off down to the mid 70s at the least. It was hell to get through with 3 dogs, 3 cats and our grandmother. My wife and I had moved in about 5 years ago to help take care of the house and property(its on 25 acres of family land that no one is willing to give up and the land taxes are raising all the time to be ridiculously high as well) so my mom and grandma could afford to live there. Grandpa also used to live there but passed recently so we’re doing our best to care for our grandmother. My wife got laid off in December and we lost half of our income. She was looking for a job but ended up having to look after her grandmother(on her side of the family) as well and they pay her for that but it’s not much. I work as an artist as I have a disability that makes it difficult to search for work outside of home but I’ve been able to, by the grace of God, afford to pay the bills and house payments with my art. It’s very hard work with long hours and unstable income but we’re managing just fine.

As for the AC situation, we found a man who was willing to give us two used outside units to replace the dead ones we had before for $5000. He brought them and connected them and left and we paid him through an app service so we couldn’t stop the payment once it went through. We found out he gave us units that were already burned out and had 2 more service people come out to look at them and confirm. We couldn’t get ahold of the man and he stopped answering calls and we never heard from him again. He was a friend of a friend so we thought he could be trusted but unfortunately we had to lose all that money.

This summer is supposed to reach record high temperatures in Texas and I’m afraid we won’t survive another summer like the last. All of my savings and income is wrapped up in bills and house/land payments now and I’m at a loss. So I’m reaching out to the good people of this Earth for some help. To replace/install the AC we need in our area it costs between $7,000-$10,000. I don’t think we’ll EVER be able to save up that amount, let alone do it in the next month or so. Our options are winning the lottery and relying on help from our fellow humans at this point. If there is anything you can give to help us reach our goal and protect my family from the awful Texas summer, I would be forever grateful. This is the first time I’ve ever had to reach out and ask for help and it wasn’t an easy decision to make. Please consider helping us out if you can. Thank you so so much for listening.

We are trying to move

We have been saving up to move out of our apartment. It has been very ruff on my family for the last three years and it seems like we can never get a break. This time we finally got on our feet and I had to stop working to take care of my health and our two youngest children. My husband has two jobs but that’s not enough to come up with the amount we need in two weeks. I know what we are asking for is a lot. We have tried the banks but no approval even with collateral. I’m so close to giving up but I know God has a plan. Please if you can help our family we need help.
we are asking for 3,000 to help pay the bills and next months rent.

I Am Murphy’s Law

In a span of three months, my life in Baltimore has become a series of unfortunate events straight out of a twisted plotline. It all started with my moving company’s van, carrying every single possession I owned, mysteriously disappearing into thin air. Just when I thought things couldn’t get worse, my car chose the bustling I-95 to give up on me, demanding an expensive alternator replacement.

As if these weren’t enough, my apartment decided to join the party by flooding, thankfully I had nothing in there but a deflating air mattress in an empty space. & then, the heartbreak – discovering my boyfriend of two years had been unfaithful.

Yes, I did take that infamous bridge to work, enduring a grueling two-hour drive each way, turning my once 45-minute commute into a daily test of patience & endurance (& a little bit of karaoke.) But just when I thought I was getting used to the chaos, my car was stolen, leaving me without transportation & eventually leading to the loss of my job, a job I truly loved.

To add to the weight of it all – I’m a twin & my twin passed ten years ago. His possessions that I still have were in my storage locker with everything else & I can’t get his stuff back. Those irreplaceable items, along with everything else, were gone in an instant. Now, facing financial strain, I find myself on the verge of losing my apartment, with unpaid rent piling up & unemployment benefits delayed due to that same bridge.

The only glimmer of hope was when my car was finally recovered, but it’s stuck in Virginia, waiting to be towed back to Baltimore, a cost I can’t afford. Groceries? A luxury I can’t indulge in right now.

I just moved to Baltimore from out of state, so I don’t know anyone here yet. Everyone I do know lives at least five hours away, & I can’t get help from anyone. I have nowhere to go, no one to turn to.

This is not a work of fiction; this is my reality. I’ve lost my possessions, my twin’s memories, my relationship, my car, & my job, all within a few short months. I’m hanging by a thread, desperately in need of a break. Just one stroke of luck, one silver lining, is all I ask for.

WORKING 2 JOBS BUT FACING FINANCIAL RUIN DUE TO UNMANAGEABLE DEBT

Thank you for reading my request. I am DESPERATELY in need of financial assistance that could prevent a waiting cascade of problems that would send my already messy life over the edge! I come from a family that has always helped others with what we had. We didn’t rely on charity or ask others for help. My siblings would not approve, and I don’t want them to know. I am very ashamed about this.

I am in a horrible predicament with unmanageable debt. I have always been responsible with money and paying bills, but I made some bad decisions in a 5-year relationship. We never had the same respect for money, and she earned more than twice my salary. I didn’t have money to waste, so I chose my contributions carefully whenever it was at all possible. She shamed me when I complained about us renting a house bigger than we needed, purchasing fancy furniture, spending money on trips, shopping, eating out every weekend….so many things outside of my upbringing. There is a reason for the saying that being prideful is a sin. Unfortunately, my pride let her talk me into purchasing a large luxurious RV at a lakeside resort with her. While things weren’t perfect before that, suddenly, a significant portion of my paycheck was going towards paying debt, and I could only pay a scant amount more than the minimum due. She paid a little more of the rent than I did on our house, but we were splitting the payment for other bills, groceries, and the RV. Not surprisingly, the pressure of always arguing about money and my inability to continue to keep up with what she deemed “my share” of HER spending led me to leave the relationship about 3 years later. Two years later and I am drowned by $80,000 in debt not even counting the RV for which the loan is upside down – the balance remaining on the loan significantly exceeds the best case used sale price. That will likely leave me to come up with $10,000 to $20,000 more to pay off the difference in order to sell the thing.

When I left, she stopped paying her share for the “luxury-liner” (she said her share was covered because she paid more of the house rent?!?) and I am trying to save my credit by continuing to make payments while I try to sell it. We both signed for that loan, but I’ve had to keep paying the $1,300 payment on my own for the last two years. I don’t make enough monthly to pay that and my credit card payments of $536, $491, and the one I’ve paid down to $241 after selling all of my jewelry. I also have a student loan payment of $600, my rent of $1,450 per month, car insurance, electric bill, internet bill, and water bill totaling about $550 per month. My car is paid off, but it’s damaged and just driveable due to an accident that was not my fault. The other party’s insurance denied my claim. I will have to file with my own insurance and pay the $1,000 deductible until they make the other insurance pay them back. Not only do I not have the $1,000 deductible to get my car fixed, but it’s also only worth a few thousand dollars, and I’m afraid it will be totaled out and I don’t have savings or a down payment to purchase another one. It is 11 years old but has been reliable and has gotten me where I needed to go. I also have another car, but it’s 21 years old. I don’t drive it because the compressor has been out for a couple of years. It’s often 100 and hell degrees where I live, so driving a car with no A/C is definitely a hard no!

I started driving Lyft and Uber after 2021 to help with monthly payments. Often, I still can’t make enough money, and juggle partial payments on the utilities. There is no way for me to make more money, even working the two jobs. I do rides every single day after work and on the weekends – 7 days a week. I have my faith, and I believe that God is with me in the storm, but sometimes my spirit is just broken. I am so tired of pushing through each day, constantly thinking this shouldn’t be my life at almost 60 years old. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to purchase a home, even if can manage to keep my credit decent. I am so frustrated by the growing credit interest fees. It will take the rest of my life to get out of this mess and I don’t know how I can keep doing this. I know that I made the bad choices that brought me here, but I really need some help.

I recognize that my life, as described here, is a wreck in several ways, but that is why I’m asking for help. My financial problems are interdependent/multi-pronged. It’s a lot to manage. There’s no point in coming here for help and not disclosing all my (well … all my important!) dirty laundry. Again, I feel bad even asking for so much, but otherwise, I’ll continue to do what I’m doing that isn’t working and is just causing me exhaustion, depression, anxiety, and deprivation. I know that I won’t get help just because I asked, but one thing is certain – I definitely won’t get help if I don’t ask!

Completely paying off credit card balances, then getting a cheaper place to live are top priorities. I don’t know if the RV situation will end up having to be resolved in the midst of Step 1. Consignment said that the pricier used RVs can sometimes take a while to sell but who knows. Step 2 would be talking to insurance to see if my car is able to be fixed if I can pay the deductible. I have no extra funds to work with until some of Step 1 is resolved, though. I am living on next to nothing. I am at least $95,000 over my head in this mess, however, any donations at all would be a lifesaver. Even small blessings would add up. Please find it in your heart to help me! May the Lord bless you and your family.

Life’s a Mess – need help please

I’ve exhausted my options.

My name is Tara, I have a full time job, decent rent, and I’m usually financially stable.

However, since the pandemic, I’ve lost all my savings, am trying to pay off my credit card, consistently in overdraft, and now I’ve got health issues that we’re still trying to figure out what’s what and it’s now preventing me from working full time.

I need help trying to pay off credit card, have enough for rent, pay my loan, bills, and now medical needs. I feel like I never have enough to even start paying off anything.

I’m overwhelmed. If anyone can help, please. Any amount is fine. If you want more details, you’re welcome to it.

Thank you to anyone in advance.

Truelyneedassistance

It all started when I lost my job due to circumstances beyond my control. At first, I thought it was just a temporary setback and that I would soon find another job. However, weeks turned into months, and despite sending out countless resumes and going on numerous job interviews, I found myself unable to secure employment due to a felony I received 12years ago when I was a young dumb idiot who made some bad choices. I haven’t had a single problem since and learned from it but that matters non to a background check. It didn’t matter I had more qualifications then ten applicant’s.

Without a steady source of income, I quickly depleted my savings and soon found myself unable to afford my rent. With no other options, I was evicted from my apartment and forced to live on the streets. I was now homeless, with no family or friends to turn to for help.

The days turned into a blur of survival, as I scrounged for food in dumpsters and slept in a junk car. I felt like a ghost, invisible to the world around me. The constant hunger and exposure to the elements took a toll on my physical and mental health. I became a shell of my former self, consumed by despair and hopelessness.

Despite my dire circumstances, I never gave up trying to improve my situation. I continued to search for jobs, but without a permanent address or phone number, employers were hesitant to hire me. I felt trapped in a vicious cycle of poverty and homelessness, with no way out.

As the days turned into weeks and then months, I began to lose all hope of ever escaping this endless nightmare. I had hit rock bottom and saw no way out. It felt like the world had turned its back on me, leaving me to fend for myself in a cold and unforgiving world.

But deep down, I know that I have to keep fighting. I refuse to let my circumstances define me, and I maintain a sliver of hope that things will eventually get better. All I need is a helping hand, a boost to pull myself out of this deep pit of despair.

That’s when I decided to reach out for help. I knew that I couldn’t do this alone, that I needed assistance to get back on my feet. I calculated that I needed a sum of $5,000 to $7,000 to cover the costs of securing a new apartment, buying new clothes for job interviews, pay two months of rent and water and electrical allowing me to save for the coming months instead of living week to week and never having the total bill paid, ill be able to get a cheap car and wont have to count on anyone else actually showing to give me a ride and lastly  paying for basic necessities like food and hygiene products.

With that money, I could finally have a stable place to live, a phone number to put on job applications, and the means to present myself professionally to potential employers. It is the lifeline that I need to turn my life around and break free from the cycle of poverty and despair.

I share my story of struggle and perseverance, hoping that someone would see the potential in me and offer a helping hand. IM begging for a chance to prove that I am worth investing in, that I am capable of rising above my circumstances and creating a better future for myself.

Today, I am grateful for the  chance your donation will provide, and I vow to pay it forward by helping others who find themselves in similar situations. I know that with a little bit of kindness and support, anyone can overcome their struggles and create a better life for themselves. And for that, I will always be thankful.

Relocated for a scam Job Opportunity

I recently took what little I had saved up to relocate to Baltimore Maryland for an amazing job opportunity! I’m not school smarts so I’m not able to get the HIGH PAYING JOBS unfortunately. This job reached out to me to just market for their company to grow their customer clients. I new I could do that plus they offered me more than I have ever made before which was 50,000 a year! I make around 20-30 thousand a year making pizzas for a living. I got so good at the pizza industry that they would open other stores and have me market for them. I thought to myself this is my break to live a better and easier life. I spent about all my money to get a crappy apartment and a uhaul to get my personal items down here! The job took a month of just multiple interviews and finally got to go meet them in person and start training. It was only one day and at the end of it said they decided they aren’t ready to open their business in Baltimore anymore. They swore it wasn’t me that I did great! I’m emotionally torn apart because I keep going over that day wondering what did I do wrong. I have no idea because the day went great! I feel it was a scam or they were in over there heads trying to grow there business and backed out last minute. Maybe because they couldn’t afford it! They questioned my skills on all those video meetings in that month it took to even get the job! So it’s not like this was a blind date! I’m literally so desperate I’m coming to strangers for money but I have not her option. Please I’m getting evicted, I have no car anymore I sold it just to make last months eviction get paid. My electric is getting turned off soon! My phone is due today or they shut it off! I have barely any food! Anything absolutely anything will help! God bless!

Teavel nurse seeking assistance today

I need help desperately

My name is Lori Cordero.  I’m a travel nurse from Florida working in Vermont and living in New York.  I have a desperate situation and need help. I recently moved my husband up wuth me. He is very sick with CHF and his ejection fraction is 24%. He had a rare cancer that he beat and they now fear it has returned.  I had to move out of the one bedroom housing and get a small trailer in New York closer to my contract.  It took a lot of funding and advances from work to make this happen.  My stipends had to be advanced for 2 of the weeks and now paying back and my check is nothing till June.  I have to travel home to Florida on Friday for 10 days.  I have to get my fingerprinting in Florida to keep my license for nursing active. I have several things to take care of while I’m there including getting my driver’s license fixed and reprinted.  I lost it and when I tried to get replacement found out that it was suspended for a traffic cam violation that was my husband in August.  He has never had a ticket and still doesn’t because it was my car. So have to have that done witch is getting more expensive by the minute.  I pay over 600 a week for our insurance out of my check.  I send money for food medical ect to my 2 girls in Tennessee.  My 32yo is taking care of my 14yo. It’s her 14 birthday Friday.  I haven’t even been able to send anything to them in weeks.  I have tried every option I can think of.  I have my plane ticket in hold but I have to go.  He can’t get any of the help he needs if I don’t have a job anymore.  I work for Northland Job Corps un Vergennes Vermont.  I work hard and have my whole life.  Can’t get a loan because of credit.  When he had cancer we lost everything.  I’m taking steps to make sure that doesn’t happen again.  I would also like to bring my daughter here for summer.  I don’t know realistically how much time she has left with him. For the first time in my life I’m scared and begging.  I just need a boost of 4000 to get through this time home.  He is staying here for health reasons.  I have no choice I have to go.  This us a desperate plea for help. I can make it if I can just make ut through may. I have picked up all extra shifts I could to make up for the 10 days I will be gone.  Also haven’t seen my mom since September and she is not doing well. She suffered a stroke after my dad died of covid in 2020 and us declining.  I’m not a whinny person.  I do what I need to do. I love being a nurse and love the peace in my smalk village.  It’s an escape from the madness of Orlando. He needs this peace.  I will take care of him for ever how long it is.  I just need this break to give him and us a chance .I’m willing to pay back uf required.  Thanks for listening.
