I do work a full time job and am not homeless. I feel I need to be 100% honest in this request. Due to hernia surgery x2 I have been out of work from March 27, 2024 to May 12, 2024. I am recieving sick pay of $1400 every 2 weeks. But I normally take home a pay of $1790 because of shift differential and overtime for working 330pm to midnight. My $292 car registration for my Chevy Spark was due March 27, 2024. With late fees, it is $392 as of today May 12. 20224. Car insurance is due for $306 may 18 or it will be canceled because of original due date of April 2020. Cell phone is $150. And refrigerator is liw on groceries. With astronomical inflation in an already overstretched economy, groceries have become very expensive. I’m humbly asking for $3,000 to help pay my May rent also of $760 and $440 utilities. I live in a studio behind my landlord’s garage. Solar was put up in Feb 2024. But utilities are still high because SDGE has been stalling checking the solar at my landlord’s.
