My name is Diane 42, I’ve been suffering from Fibromyalgia for the past 6 years and has gotten worse.  I’ve been working at the company I work for  for 12 1/2  years. In the past 6 yrs, I’ve tried different positions to see what’s best for me, at this point this chronic pain disease has affected my job duties, health and social life which also made me go into depression  so I had to stop working. I’ve been trying to play catch up before COVID started due to me being out of work for a major surgery (hysterectomy). I now owe 24,000 in back rent which I need help in paying before they evict me. This is new to me, as I am usually someone who does the donating. My spouse and I have decided to go our separate ways, and while it is amicable, I’m coming away with very little. I don’t need much. I work full time and have my own business where it’s going to pick up this summer. I’ve got a new place to move into but I’m struggling to comfortable cover rent in my current place for one month, the deposit, first months rent, and all new furniture. On top of that I’ve offered to put on a benefit for my great aunt who just got through breast cancer for the second time and is struggling financially. I don’t feel comfortable or right pulling out of that. So now I’m just in a tight spot for a month or two until i can get it turned around. It took me a year of therapy to even end my marriage because i hate confrontation and would rather be unhappy than have a hard conversation. So i know i should be proud of myself for making life changes for myself and for the better but it’s hard to see past the stress of figuring this all out and feeling comfortable. As i mentioned, i dont enjoy doing this and I know other people might need the money more than me, and ill definitely pay it forward, but I really could use the help. Anything helps. Hello, I am a 60 yr. old man whose wife of 25 yrs. died July 2022 from complications of septic shock. I could not have a funeral for her,we had no life insurance. I was only able to have her cremated by donating her body to a research company. It has been a very difficult struggle for me since then.She had SSI disability but when she passed,that money stopped coming in. She was receiving a little over $1,000 per month,so right away,$1,000 income was no longer available.I cannot pay my monthly rent.It has been in arrears for over 6 months. I have been taken to court by my landlord and was able to set up a payment plan with them,even so,I still am so far behind on getting caught up. I do not want to be evicted, I have lived in my apartment for over 15 yrs. I was only able to get some of the rent paid through my state rent relief aid but that has run out. I am working but I am a temp. worker and I barely make enough to pay for groceries,everyday items. I was receiving SNAP and Medicaid but that was stopped when social services found out I finally got a job. I have no health insurance and my blood pressure medications have run out. Co-pays were Zero with Medicaid,now hundreds of dollars out of pocket.I have a 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier with over 191,000 miles on it. Hello, I usually am able to support myself. I have always had a full time job. I’ve spent my life always helping others, and now when I really need help, I can’t find any one to turn to. By the grace of God, and a miracle I  recently survived a saddle pulmonary embolism. Which has kept me out of work for the last few months. I’ve lived off of what little savings I had, and I am currently waiting for disability to kick in. My landlords have been very lenient with me, but unfortunately they rely on my rent to help them get by in life. I am in desperate need of financial assistance in the amount of $2000 just to get myself caught up amd current on my rent. I am a single mom/woman and I really need some assistance for rent. I am currently working a nice job. last year I got scammed by a private landlord. I went to view the apartment which was located on the 3rd floor and it was beautiful! Two days before I was all set to move in, the landlord called to let me know that the 3rd floor apartment has been rented but he had a 1st floor apartment available and did I want that apartment because it looked the exact same as the 3rd floor apartment. I said yes of course! I was excited about the 1st floor. The day I moved in on June 16th 2023, the apartment was in shambles and the only thing that was new in the apartment was the floors. 40% of the items was left in the cabinets were still in the worn out cabinets and the blinds had 2 inches of dirt on them and the door knobs to the bedrooms and the bathrooms were missing. It was a horrible mess. The landlord told me that he was going to fix everything but the only thing that he fixed was the smoke detectors and that is it. I stayed in that apartment until March of this year when he finally let me out of the lease that I begged for. I got approved for the brand new apartment and it took all of my money and some money I didn’t have to move in here. Now I am behind in my rent because I can’t catch up from moving and I need a little assistance to keep my place and I need at least $2500 for the rent and the late fees. I don’t even know where to begin. Right now, I am needing around $7000 to break my lease, pack and hire movers to move somewhere else, and for hotel rooms until I can finish moving. My current apartment is haunted.  I have had no problem with the dogs that are haunting it. I can sense and sometimes catch a glimpse of them and have never felt threatened by them at all or by any other ghosts from other places that I have lived in. I have been in this apartment since July of last year. Beginning about 2 weeks ago I felt something jump on the bed that was much larger but just thought,  well it must be another larger dog. Then about a week ago, I saw that it was a little boy. This would be okay with me as I have also lived in homes and apartments which people ghosts and had no issues but this one is different.  He seems diabolical, but praying and firmly telling him to go away in the name of Jesus didn’t work at all. He does try to do inappropriate things that at his age he shouldn’t even know about. He seems to really be into my feet too.  Plus he will get under the bed and somehow keep pushing his hands through the mattress, poking me. This past weekend after trying to pray him away, he kept putting his hands on and around my head and did the poking thing to my head- this was when I was sitting on the couch, fully awake. This caused me to have one of the worst headaches I have ever had in my life. I got away and somehow made it to the ER where they did a CT Scan but found nothing. I was just told to contact my psychologist (I have depression and anxiety) and my neurologist (I have chronic headaches,  migranes,  and trigeminal neuralgia). They are thinking that the ‘ visual, auditory, and tactile hallucinations’ are caused by some of the medicines reacting to each other negatively. I contacted both docs and the psych doc thinks it’s one of the neurology meds (I personally think some of this may be due to tegretol) and I have an appt next week with the neurologist. I tried to stop the medicine myself but was told by a coworker that her husband had 2 grand mal seizures when he tried to stop it himself. I ended up back in the ER Sunday night because my head still felt awful. I guess I’ll be receiving a $1000 bill for the copay for the visits too. Oh and when I ran out of the house in tears after dealing with this spawn of you know who, it actually followed me out. I heard 4 tiny but loud footfalls before I turned around and yelled at it the get the heck away from me. I have been staying at a hotel nearby since Sunday night. I tried going back Monday night but my anxiety was through the roof as it started getting darker outside. I tried just going to shop at night then sleep during the day but couldn’t even do that. Today was my work from home day and I was on pins and needles all day but got through it and am now back at the hotel. I am going out of town Friday (cheap trip that was booked a while ago, sadly it costs less there than staying in the local hotel) and will be back late Tuesday and am dreading coming back. Not only is my anxiety bad but ironically my depression is worsening too because I keep wondering if a kid in the apartment building lost his life recently.  I am going to have a conversation to see if my psych doc can do anything to help me to not have to pay for breaking the lease at least, this would knock the cost down to about $4000. I live paycheck to paycheck and am running my credit cards up by staying at hotels. Yes, I need better friends. I’ve realized this too and it is not good for my depression.  Any help you can give is very much appreciated.  Years ago, I used to do all the ghost hunts and tours (telling you this so you will understand my PayPal handle) and never had any problems at all. I’m a Truck driver that is running on hard times, the trucking business today is really bad and now that the Key bridge went down here in Maryland freight is really show in sometimes I only work 2,3 or 4 days. Because of the lack of work I’m unable to make a living and I need repairs to my semi truck and my bills is adding up alone of my rent that I can’t even pay, I tried everything for help even trying to get assistance from our state government which I got no help.
