Please Help Our Family Save Our Beautiful Home

Dear kind souls,

I am humbly reaching out to ask for your help during one of the most difficult times our family has ever faced.

Last year (2025), I lost my job due to company downsizing. Since then, I have applied to literally thousands of jobs, but despite my constant efforts, I have been unable to secure employment. We are a family of four doing our best to hold everything together, but we have now fallen critically behind on our mortgage payments.

My wife is working hard and doing all she can, but her income alone is not enough to cover our mounting bills and overdue mortgage. Our home is at serious risk, and it feels like we are running out of options.

To make matters more challenging, our oldest son is 10 years old and has Autism. He requires specialized care and a stable environment, which makes losing our home even more devastating to think about. Our youngest child is only 3 years old and deserves the safety and security that every child should have.

While I continue applying for jobs every day, I am also in the process of starting a small business so we can regain our independence and stability. However, as anyone who has started over knows, it takes time to get income flowing.

We need $8,300 to cover our past-due mortgage and avoid foreclosure on our home in Cypress, Texas. This amount will bring us current and give us breathing room as we work tirelessly to get back on our feet.

I never imagined I would be in a position to ask strangers for help, but my family means everything to me. If you are able to contribute anything—no matter how small—it will bring us closer to saving our home and keeping our children safe and secure.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Even just sharing this plea would mean so much to us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your compassion and generosity.

With sincere gratitude,
Stephen G.

Mortgage

My name is Debora , and I am a full-time caregiver who has dedicated my life to supporting others in their time of need. Today, I find myself on the other side of that equation — humbly asking for help to buy my house.

I have always taken great pride in caring for others, often putting their needs before my own. Whether it’s assisting elderly clients with daily tasks, offering emotional support, or simply being a comforting presence — I’ve done it with love and compassion. However, as many caregivers know, this work, while deeply fulfilling, is not always financially secure.

I take great pride in, as it allows me to serve and support those in need within our community. Despite the demanding nature of the job and the modest income it provides, I have managed to save £10,000 through careful budgeting and persistent effort.

However, we are still £25,000 short of fully paying off our mortgage, and the deadline to complete the payments is fast approaching. Owning this home would provide our family with long-term stability and security—a place where our children can grow up feeling safe, loved, and rooted.

We have exhausted all other options, and it is with great respect that I turn to you for assistance. Any support you can offer—whether financial or by connecting us with other resources or potential supporters—would mean the world to us and would bring us one step closer to achieving our dream of a permanent, stable home.

Please know that we do not take this request lightly. We are committed to paying it forward, and your kindness would not only impact our lives today but would be remembered and honored for years to come.

If you are in a position to help — whether by donating or sharing this campaign — I would be incredibly grateful. Every single contribution brings me one step closer to securing my home and continuing the work I love with peace of mind.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your kindness could be the lifeline that helps me through this storm.

Volunteer Nurse needing mortgage paid so she can go back permanently to Syria

My name is Sarah and I’ve been a nurse in the UK now for over 10 years. (I’ve been slightly grey haired for a while!) I’m looking for funding in order to become a full time volunteer nurse, initially based in Syria. Hence the need to clear my mortgage.

I’ve just returned home from Syria, where, as a volunteer nurse for an American charity I set up and ran a family/general practice clinic in a small town with a variety of drs and another nurse. During my time there I did everything. I was the nurse, HCA, pharmacist, cleaner, Tech support, medical equipment fixer, translator, on call service, first aide, occupational therapist and Physiotherapist to name a few. It was amazing. The patients I helped had been through so much during the previous regime and most had v. little.  The team I worked with were also soooo amazing. They put up tents, cleaned, plumbed, wired, cemented, sorted, sanded, dug and supported each other in too many ways to count or mention I was heartbroken to leave but had a house and bills to pay. The clinic is under the flight path of rockets and missiles going in both directions of Israel and Iran. I’m desperate to get back there in the next two weeks to help look after, the team and also the locals or anyone else who needs our medical help.  The charity I went out with and would initially go back to support is https://friendships.org/middleeast/ . You can also see part of what I helped this charity achieve if you have a facebook account and go to https://www.facebook.com/share/p/18PYqXZP2Q/?mibextid=wwXIfr.

Thank you for finding out about me and my dream. I’m sorry we’ve not managed to chat in person so that I could find out about you. I’ve also not been clever enough to attach photos. For now though, would you consider helping cover the costs which involves my mortgage, bills, travel, nursing registration and insurance? For a year and paying off the mortgage, it would cost£56,348.21 ~ US$ 76455 (according to google), or part of my mortgage, to enable us, (you through me,) to support these people? If not, what would you consider? I’m more than happy to supply more information. (I just didn’t want to bore your socks off with calculations!)

Thank you again for taking the time to stop by and thank you for choosing to help this community, and hopefully those further afield in the future. :)

Seeking Support During Difficult Time

Hello, my name is Ana Maria, and I’m reaching out to share my story in the hope of finding some support during this challenging time.

I am 35 years old and have been working at Amazon for several years. For much of that time, I was fortunate enough to work overtime on weekends, which significantly boosted my income and allowed me to achieve a major milestone: buying my own home. It was a dream come true, and I worked hard to make it happen.

However, life can sometimes take unexpected turns. Recently, my workplace has reduced the amount of overtime available, and I find myself struggling to keep up with the financial commitments that come with homeownership. My salary alone is no longer sufficient to cover my mortgage and living expenses, especially with three bank credits weighing heavily on my shoulders.

Despite my best efforts to seek additional part-time employment, I have been unsuccessful in finding opportunities that fit my schedule and requirements. This situation has left me feeling stressed and overwhelmed, and as someone who works hard, I never thought I’d find myself in need of assistance.

I understand that my story may not fit the typical narrative of hardship, and I genuinely admire those who are single parents or facing serious health challenges. However, I believe that everyone deserves a chance to find help when they need it, regardless of their circumstances.

I am reaching out here in hopes that, if you resonate with my situation, you might consider offering some support. Any contribution, no matter how small, would greatly alleviate my financial stress and help me focus on finding a sustainable solution for my future.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I appreciate any support or encouragement you can offer.

URGENT HELP🙏🏼

Hi

I am a 61-year-old mother of one daughter from Finland. We live on the island of Hailuoto, off the coast of Oulu, with my daughter alone. We moved there in 2015 and I applied for a 200,000 euro loan to make this dream come true. I had been at the same job for 21 years at the time and knew that I would get through my loan before I retired.
No one knows what the future holds.

In July 2023, I had to retire on partial disability due to a fracture in my back, right arm and tailbone. In October 2023, my right shoulder was operated on and a prosthesis was fitted. My hand did not recover as expected and my sick leave lasted for over two years and is still ongoing.

My employer fired me from this job because of that in October 2024. I had worked in the same place for 30 years. My back is awaiting an operation, as is my tailbone, which has been broken for several years.

My income dropped drastically. In addition, I was scammed online in the summer of 2024. The scammers took out two loans in my name for a total of €15,000 and charged a total of €14,000 from my credit cards. I have already accumulated €240,000 in debt. The mortgage is already five months late, after the sixth it will be foreclosed. Our home is very dear to us and we cannot give it up. I have not been able to pay off any of my credit card debt. They are already in collection, as are most of the bills.

I don’t know what to do anymore. It’s as if some curse has taken over my life. Can you help? 🙏🏼

Morgage

Hi there! Hello everyone, I’m Tyson. My wife works at a daycare; her pay is not great, but she enjoys working with children and doesn’t want her goals to be taken away from her. I’m a father of four children who enjoys going to church and working. And I’m in Winter Haven, Florida, and I’m on child support from my ex, who now resides in Boston with my son, but I can’t get his plane ticket to come visit him. Although I do occasionally phone him, I haven’t seen him in two years. He is now sixteen years old, and I don’t want my kids living on the streets while I’m trying to pay my rent this month. 25 year old mom of 3 has no other choice

Hi, I am a 25 year old mom to 3 beautiful babies. I am also physically disabled and live with chronic pain. I am married to the most amazing man in the world… he is the reason I’m here.

To start, my husband has 2 chronic stomach issues. For him, there is no cure because of childhood abuse. Because of this, he is unable to work a full time job. According to the government, he doesnt qualify gor disabity. This man spends more time in the bathroom than he does with his children. trust me, I wish i was kidding. My husband is the most hardworking man I have ever met. He always works through the pain to make sure he can provide for his family. However, in todays economy, and his illness, he can only work in limited places and the pay is not always guaranteed.

now, why I am here, He does not know i am doing this and if he knew, he would be pissed. See, this man was raised to believe that it is not okay to ask for help. I was raised the exact opposite. I’m not doing this just for fun (I wish I was), but, my family needs help.

My house is falling apart. The front door does not stay shut, the porch is collapsing, there is a hole in the sealing and floor in the bathroom, we have a mouse and bug problem we cant get rid of, and several leaks. Now, you might be thinking “how does this girl have 3 kids in a house like that?” Let me tell you….

Honestly, this is not my house. It belongs to my FIL. He is not a clean person. I mean this man does not shower for weeks at a time, he does not clean himself after using the bathroom, washes his clothes once a month, and much more. He has let the house get like his while his son, my husband, was out of state. It has become our responsibility to fix it and thats why were here. Before the pandemic, we were renovating the house with what we had. Then, the pandemic hit, prices went up, and my husband lost his job. 1 year later I got pregnant. We were not planning for it nor were we trying (I was on birth control with all 3 of my babies and had many health issues).

ABOUT THE HOUSE:

  • it was built in the 1920s
  • 1 bedroom, 1 bath
  • we have 4 adults, and 3 kids here (my mom, the kids, hubby, FIL, and me)

so, a series of unfortunate events take place, and suddenly we are living with what my mom and Fil were getting from SSI. No, we didnt ask.

I have health issues,as do the other 3 adults,  and I need to get my babies out of here. I feel like the longer they are here, the more i feel like im failing them. My husband and I have the land to put a doublewide on however, the savings we had for this is gone.

My house is a mess and we live in fear every day that someone will report us and we will loose them. we have no outside support and we have tried everything. we dont let people come over because of fear and embarassment.

I am NOT asking anyone to buy my a house by no means at all. I am here because my family (especially my kids) deserve a better environment to grow up in. I am here because i believe that this is not where my family is meant to be. my husband deserves to be able to come home and relax so he isnt working himself into an early grave. We need help and im finally ready to ask. I am only asking for help starting the process of rebuilding what we lost.

Im sorry for rambling, and the lack of organization. ive carried this for a long time and it needed to come out.

If you are able to, please help. or share this.

THANK YOU

BLESS YOU

Caregiver in Crisis! – Struggling to Catch-Up! – Support Needed A.S.A.P!

Hello,

I wish I didn’t have to ask for help, but I must because it’s not just for me, it’s for my Mother.

To make things harder, my Mother is living with dementia. Several years ago, it was clear that she was not able to live on her own. The price for a decent assisted living facility is unaffordable and not a long-term option. To fill the need for care, I retired early, moved her into my home, and became a full time caregiver.

Since then, we are experiencing financial distress and, as a result, mental health stress. Prices are getting higher and my income is not keeping up. My out-of-pocket healthcare costs are getting higher because health benefits are being reduced. Even though I’m doing everything I can, I can’t make the ends meet.

Right now, I am:

  • Behind on mortgage payments;
  • Behind on the utilities payments;
  • Behind on Mom’s medical payments;
  • Struggling to pay for groceries and basic necessities.

I’m praying that putting our story on this platform will be a way for us to get the support that we need to get through this rough patch. If you’re able to help, it would make a world of difference to my Mother and I.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for caring enough to consider helping.

With sincere gratitude,

Sudden job loss – Unable to pay off my loans

Hi all,

I have no idea how to conduct this message, so it might be a bit messy.

In a short, literally yesterday I found out about the layoffs at my work place.
This news impact me drasticly, given that I currently have over 8,000 USD in loans.

Unfortunately my situation is quite terrible, as I have no one in my family who can support me.
The loans I have taken, were taken to support them (my family), and pay off their late rent payments.

As I have supported them, they cut off any form of contact with me and refuse to pay off my loan in any way.
So all the responsiblity is currently pending on me.

The only person I can depend on is my partner, who is willing to pay off the full rent amount. I am only in desperate need to pay off the loan.

If anyone would like to support me in any way, I would be literally in tears.
Thank you all, even just for reading it.

Please Help Me Save Our Home – For My Grandchildren’s Sake

Hello,

My name is Dan, and I never thought I’d find myself here. After dedicating over 30 years of my life to my career and serving proudly as a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, I was recently let go due to economic downsizing.

Since losing my job, I’ve been working 12-hour days trying to make ends meet, but I’ve fallen behind. My mortgage is now in default, and I’m facing the terrifying reality of foreclosure.

This house isn’t just mine—it’s my grandchildren’s safe haven. They live here with me and rely on this home for love, security, and stability. I’ve already sold off my collectibles and many personal items, trying to keep us afloat, but it’s just not enough.

I’m asking—begging—for help to raise $7,500 to stop the foreclosure and keep a roof over my grandchildren’s heads. Every dollar counts and brings us one step closer to staying together under one roof.

If you can help, please send donations via PayPal to:

https://www.paypal.me/helpifyoucanplease

Even a small amount makes a big difference. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, caring, and giving.

With gratitude,

Dan M.

Urgent Help Needed — Trying to Build a Better Life for My Son and Me

I never thought I’d be in this position, but I’m reaching out because I truly don’t know where else to turn.

For a long time now, I’ve been in an emotionally and verbally abusive relationship. It has taken a serious toll on my mental and physical health. I’m doing everything I can to protect my 9-year-old son from the weight of it, but he deserves better — he deserves a peaceful, loving home to grow up in.

Because of ongoing health issues, I haven’t been able to work full-time. I’ve been substitute teaching when I can, but it’s not enough to cover the mortgage or our basic needs. My husband has been out of work for two years, and the financial pressure is overwhelming. I feel completely stuck.

I’m asking for help so I can either afford to stay in our home on my own or find a safe, stable place for my son and me to start over. I also want to finish my bachelor’s degree so I can get a better job and provide long-term security for us. But right now, I can’t even afford to take that next step without help.

Any amount you can give — no matter how small — will go toward housing, bills, food, and school costs. It will give us breathing room. It will give me the chance to rebuild, to give my son the stability and care he deserves, and to finally move forward.

If you’re able to help, my PayPal is: paypal.me/shawntel1l

Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping if you can. Your support means more than I can put into words.

With gratitude,

Shawntel

making end meet – help, please

I am writing to humbly request assistance as I am currently facing significant financial hardship. Like many families, the rising cost of living has placed an overwhelming strain on my household. Between soaring grocery prices, high credit card interest rates, essential home repairs, high cost of insurance, utilities and everyday expenses, it has become increasingly difficult to make ends meet.

As a parent of three children, I am doing everything I can to provide a safe and stable home for my wife and kids. Unfortunately, the financial pressure continues to mount, and I am struggling to keep up with basic needs. Every dollar goes toward keeping food on the table, maintaining our home, and ensuring the well-being of my wife, children and pets.

If there is any form of support. I would be deeply grateful to be considered. Any help, financial assistance, advice on available resources, would mean the world to us during this difficult time.

Thank you for your time, understanding, and any support you may be able to provide.

Sincerely,

A man in need of help

Not just looking for a handout but a lifeline

Today’s date is May 7,2025 and I am looking for $10,000 to get back on my feet. I got hurt a whole back and with 2 kids and my wife being pregnant I have been playing catchup on bills. A few months ago I decided to start a business and a friend I knew wanted to go half with me so after I put the money in to get the trailer and pressure washer my friend kept pushing it off and then ghosted me. I had several clients lined up but didn’t have enough funds to get the material to do the jobs and it put me in a financial strain to the point that my car was towed and don’t have money for mortgage.
This money will not only help to get my car back and pay my mortgage but also start the new business to support my family so I can help others

Army Veteran Husband disabled…. loosing everything

Hello

I am asking for help to get at the very least caught up on our main bills …. mortgage, lot rent, utilities and car payments. My husband, who is an Army Veteran has been disabled for the past couple years now. When everything started, I was able to work and with his disability payments, we were able to pay what we needed. Since then, I have had to become a stay at home care giver for him. He had a stroke on March 11 2025. I am doing as much as I possibly can to try to pay all our bills but living on his small disability check just isn’t enough. I try to work side jobs when I can. We are now $1300 behind on the mortgage, $567 behind on lot rent, $375 behind on utilities and $3600 behind on the car. We have until May 15th to get caught up on the mortgage and lot rent. Utilities will be shut off on May 9 and the car will be repoed at anytime.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
