My mother passed away in June of 2024 and I’ve been paying her mortgage on her behalf, since I am her only child. I was able to stay afloat for some time due to savings and her death benefit. However, that only lasted so long with the mortgage, other bills, and expenses. I work part time in retail and cannot receive full time hours unless I work in a leadership position, which none are available at my store or the surrounding ones. I am actively looking for employment, but the job market is tight. I can only work so many hours, which makes it hard to pay for my mother’s mortgage and other bills. I am a full time student, which has made me lower my hours significantly. I would appreciate a donation of $6,000 just until I can find consistent employment/hours. This would cover 5 mortgage payments, which would help a lot. I am already behind on one payment and I don’t want to lose my mother’s house. Please help me.
