Lost My Medical for Flying (Forgot my Payment Info in last Post)

Hello. I am Kenneth. Back in April of 2022 I had a stroke in my right which led me to be in the hospital for 6 days. I had to stop flying until I am approved to fly again. That’s even if I am able to fly again as the FAA is strict on health and for good reason. At first things were fine because I was receiving my benefits from my insurance company but recently that stopped because the paper work I sent they didn’t approve of to continue the benefits. Even my doctor is confused about the situation. I also got married in July of 2022 and my wife has really been holding me down and as a man I hate to put that burden on her. My mother has also been helping me as well but she can only do so much. I am trying to return to work but the process takes a while. I don’t want to ask for a certain amount because I am not that kind of a person but anything helps. I know that I will be out for at least a year. You’re probably thinking Airline Pilots make good money, well I am a Regional Airline Pilot so we don’t get paid as much as the Mainline(United,Southwest,Delta) Airline Pilots. We have received better pay rates as of recently but I have been away from work since those rates came out so I never saw them. This really is an emergency and it took a lot for me to come to this website and tell my story. I am a tax paying citizen and I have no criminal record. I really appreciate anyone who sees this and is able to donate anything that you can. Take care and God Bless.

Sincerely,

Kenneth(10/26/2023)

“Urgent Support Needed for Premature Baby Hakeem and Our Family”

Hello, my name is Theophilus Taylor. I’m from Ghana but now live in California with my with wife Evelyn and 6 year old daughter Lumiere. I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart in the hope of finding assistance for my family during this challenging time. My son, Hakeem, was born prematurely at just 28 weeks, and he is still in the hospital, fighting to grow stronger every day.

Hakeem’s early birth has brought on a series of unexpected financial burdens for our family. We are in a state of financial distress, struggling to make ends meet as we face mounting medical bills, accommodations expenses, groceries, and the weight of existing loans and bills.

Our Needs:

1. Supplies for Baby Hakeem: We have prepared a list of essential supplies for Hakeem’s homecoming on Amazon.
These include everything from baby clothes to medical equipment he will need for his continued care.
Link: https://www.amazon.com/baby-reg/theoandevelyn-taylor-december-2023-santaana/1TSSTL1WAETR1?ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_dp_DCTSC891RMZVXB6ABP7G&language=en_US

2. Accommodation: Our current living situation is not ideal for our family’s needs, especially with Hakeem’s medical condition. We need assistance to secure safe and suitable accommodation to ensure his well-being. My wife and our 6 year old daughter (Lumiere) live in a one bedroom apartment which isn’t very helpful to our situation and therefore have to move to a bigger place with more space to support our sons healthy growth.

3. Groceries: The costs of regular groceries and the additional expenses related to Hakeem’s care have become overwhelming.

4. Bills and Loans: We are struggling to keep up with existing bills and loans, and the weight of these financial responsibilities is taking a toll on our family.

Why We Need Your Help:

We have exhausted our resources and are left with no other options but to reach out to the kindness of others. Any financial support you can provide, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in our ability to care for Hakeem and stabilize our family’s financial situation.

We understand that times are tough for many, but we are immensely grateful for any assistance or support you can offer. Your generosity will go directly toward improving the quality of life for our precious son and helping us navigate this difficult journey.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story, and we appreciate any help you can provide during this trying time. Your support means the world to Us.

Please consider sharing our profile with your network to help us get the assistance we need. We genuinely appreciate your support and kindness.

Kindly send us your support via PayPal @OsuBoy

With love,

Theo & Evelyn Taylor

Single Mom Raising 5 Needs Help Desperately

Hello, my name is Sophia I am 33 years old and I have five children. I have two daughters age 11 and nine and three sons aged 7, 5 and three.

When Covid hit I didn’t know what to expect at first and I was pregnant with my youngest son. I panicked and moved out to our bear land out of the city to get away from everybody that was sick.

Now we’ve been out here since 2020 and have no electricity except for a generator that we’re paying for gas nightly that ends up being $900 a month no water no gas unless I buy propane.

And I have a huge water tote that I go and fill up with a relative that holds 350 gallons of water and I drag it back over here on my trailer and pretend that everything is good but at the moment because my youngest son is three and I cannot afford daycare I can’t get out of this hole. I’m stuck in.

I gig work and DoorDash and that helps me keep afloat but I need help and no one that I know can help me and I have no credit and my kids are starting to be affected by it. They know what normal is that they know that they don’t have it and they don’t deserve that.

I’m not trying to come off like I’m begging, we need help so bad, and anybody that would be willing to do it would be saving us.

I’ve been saving every single extra penny that I have and I have $600 put away to the side but the water is 10,000 to dig a well and the electrical is going to be at least 3500 anything can help our family and everything that I got. I’m putting to the side I’m asking the Lord and for you to please help us.

I don’t know what else to do this is my last resort, fingers crossed and praying.

Good morning I’m a single hard working mom of 4. My eldest child is 15 and my youngest is 4. I’ve always been able to get through the ups and downs of life, but right now I’m just having a really bad rough patch which I know will pass. Being a single mom I have to work around my kids schedule.(my youngest often ask me mommy where are you going and I say mommy has to go to work, and she ask why do you have to go to work? I don’t want you to go I’m gon miss you. I’m completely heart broken I feel like I’m cheating her out of precious time with me, but with a smile on my face I give her a hug and I tell her I have to work to take care of her and I always promise her I’ll be back soon.I work overnight so I tell her when she open her eyes in the morning I’ll be there. I’m a health care professional I been doing private care for about 20yrs but recently my hours have dwindled because the company I work for have been losing clients to other companies and a lot of the patients have made there transition as well. I can only work night shift due to my kids busy schedules. I was working 5 days a week but now I’m down to 2 days and some weeks I’m not on the schedule at all depending on what’s available. I’m looking for other means of employment while continuing to smile so my kids won’t see that I’m struggling financially. I have exhausted all of my saving just to keep afloat while I either wait for more hours at work or find another job, which ever happens first. As I’m sitting here typing this I can’t help but wonder if this will even help with my bills that are due soon, which are rent, utilities, food, car payment, car insurance, kids insurance, bus card for eldest child to get to/from school, kids fall/winter necessities etc.thanks for taking the time to read what on my mind/weighing on my heart. Please help if you can financially if you can and if you can’t please just send positivity my way.  My PayPal link is PayPal.me/alwayssmiling84

>mergency Assistance For 1 Month to Cover Rent and Expenses

Hello,

I have never had to do anything like this before and I am feeling very embarrassed but I don’t know where else to turn.  I am a teacher in Phnom Peng Cambodia.  I have been doing this job for 7 years.  I teach lower level primary.  Until this month I was employed at a Singaporean school.  I had been with them for 18 months and would still be there had there not been an incident that took place where I felt I could no longer stay owing to the way the situation was handled.

A young boy in P4 tried to kill himself in class.  He was a new student who has mental health and violence issues that we as teachers were not made aware of.  They P4 teacher was left traumatised and was offered no support from the school.  The decisions made by management after the event only served to make matters worse and the student became more voilent towards younger students.  The stress cause the P4 teacher to resign and again this was handled very badly.  I was concerned for the safety of my students but the pupil was allowed to remain.

Several other things happened towards the teacher who resigned in terms of deducting money from her salary etc.  I voiced my concerns but they were not taken seriously.  I left as the stress was also becoming too much for me.

I am actively seeking work but most of the positions are for nursery which I can not teach as I broke my femur bone 3 years ago and have a metal rod inserted.  I can not get up and down easily and I cant kneel on a floor to play.  I have to wait until a primary level position opens up.

I am confident I will get something but my visa renewal is due on 8th November 2023 and it costs $300 and I will also have to change my work permit status now which is a further $200.  Without these 2 things I can not stay.  My rent is due on the 6th of November it is $360 plus bills which are around $40.  I have myself and a dog to feed and if I can secure a job soon, I will need money for travelling to and from work.

I am asking for help in the sum of $1,600 to help me through this hard time and would be willing to pay back to anyone who can help me.

Kind Regards

Beautiful Resilience

There lived a kind-hearted woman named April. She was a 47-year-old mother of two and a proud grandmother of three. Despite the challenges life had thrown her way, I had always managed to keep my head held high.

One day I made a life-changing decision. Determined to pursue my dreams of higher education, I packed my bags and bid farewell to the familiar sights of Montana. California beckoned me, promising endless opportunities and a brighter future. With a heavy heart, I left my beloved family behind, hoping to make them proud.

In California, I acclimated to the fast-paced lifestyle and enrolled in school. The campus became my sanctuary, and I eagerly immersed myself in my studies, savoring every minute. But, just as I began to feel at home, a dark cloud loomed over my dreams.

Three short months later, news of a relentless virus spread like wildfire, reaching every corner of the world. The devastating impact of COVID-19 was felt far and wide, and my school was no exception. The once vibrant campus shuttered its doors, forcing me into a state of uncertainty.

As the days turned into weeks and uncertainty morphed into despair, My life took a tragic turn. With no source of income and mounting debts, I lost my house and car, leaving me with nothing but the clothes on my back. Homelessness became my reality, and desperate times called for desperate measures.

With a heavy heart and a trembling spirit, I made the unthinkable decision to turn to escorting in order to survive the harsh streets of California. It was a path I never imagined treading, but the thought of my grandbabies and wanting to give them and my momma a better life pushed me forward. I yearn to hold them in my arms again, to feel their tiny hands intertwined with mine, and to shower them with the grandmotherly love they deserved.

Every night, my heart ached as I navigated the treacherous world I found myself in. I longed for nothing more than to escape the clutches of desperation and rebuild my shattered life. My dreams grow bolder, focusing not only on reuniting with my family but also on returning to school, proving that Im not defined by my circumstances.

I’m hoping to find safe shelter, be able to get a car to get to school and travel back home to visit, regain my independence, and escape the harrowing world I had been trapped in.

I’m hoping to return to school, pursuing my education with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. I want to excell in my studies, proving to myself and the world that age was just a number and my determination knew no bounds.

Despite the hardships I’ve endured, I want to emerge as a beacon of light, forever grateful for the generosity of others helping me bring my dreams back to the light. An with the kindness of others I know I’ll be able to do that…

Okay Father God. I have Learned My Lesson.

Good evening :)

I am in need of assistance. I am currently going through a divorce. I have two children that I have not seen in a year. I just lost my job last week. So me getting a lawyer, paying my rent, lights, renewing my license, getting a car and driving to Florida to get my children is out the question. Literally.

I’ve titled this request, “Okay Father God, I have Learned My Lesson”, because these past two weeks have truly opened my eyes. I now SEE why an emergency fund is SO important. I have spent more time in my bible now than ever. Honestly, you can say the bible has been my therapy.  James 1:1-4, 5:7-11 Hebrews 11:1-4 Matthew 6:26-34, 7:7-12  2 Thessalonians 2:13-17, 3:3

My oldest son’s birthday is today. I called and wanted to do homework with him because when I was working I did not have time. I could have sent him the last couple of dollars I have, but how would that make up for me not physically being there? He didn’t even want to speak with me. I want to pay what I need to pay and go get my children.

I am seeking assistance not to solve all my life problems, but to help me at least jump start the solution would take some weight off of my shoulders. Divorce lawyers want 2500.00 up front and the case as a whole is 7000.00. My rent is due on the 1st of November, 668.00.

If I could some assistance with these things, I’d feel a little relieved.

Need to catch up on my rent after losing my job and the passing of my wife after giving birth to stillborn baby

Iwas recently laid off from my job after losing my wife due to complications of giving birth to our stillborn baby. I had to sell my car and use all of my savings to pay for the funeral and burial expenses of my wife and stillborn baby. Due to my devastating situation, I fell  $4,000 behind on my rent. My manager was empathetic but the owner of my apartment complex told my manager to tell me that I have 90 days to come up with the $4,000 or I’ll be served with an eviction notice and end up homeless. Unfortunately I didn’t work long enough to qualify for unemployment otherwise I would have never gone online to beg for help.

Even though I’m grieving the loss of my wife and baby, I know I still need to find a job as soon as possible. I’ve been pushing out applications online and taking the bus to different parts of town to pass out resumes to different businesses. I went to my local welfare office and they only gave me a small amount in food stamps and some bus passes as well as placing me on the wait list for section 8 housing which takes at least a year to get a place to live.

What scares me is I I end up homeless, it’ll be almost impossible to find a job. Most employers won’t hire someone that’s homeless and doesn’t have a physical address as well as not having a place to clean up and look presentable.

I feel horrible asking for help but I’m desperate to come up with $4,000 to catch up on my rent to avoid becoming homeless. The owner of my apartment complex showed no empathy and literally told me that he’s not the one to offer moral support. I really want to find another place to live but due to my damaged credit and no income, it’s impossible to do so.

I had my debts discharged in bankruptcy a month ago but most places won’t rent to someone that has a bankruptcy under a year old. I still haven’t given up hope to find a job. I’ll accept the first job offer that I get no matter where it is.

I promise that if I can raise the $4,000 to catch up on my rent, I’ll definitely pay it forward once I find a job.

Had Stroke And Was Fired

Hello. My name is Bill and I am in dire need. My family and I have had unfortunate things happen to us. I will try to relate our unfortunate events chronologically and with no embellishment as none is needed. I will divide my story into parts as it is a long story. The part titles summarize each part. You may skip parts as desired.

Original Diagnosis

I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in 2000. I took diabetes medications since then. I also had to start using insulin in 2018. I also developed high blood pressure. Things went downhill from there.

Death Of My Stepdaughter

On August 31st, 2018, my stepdaughter was murdered in Mexico. She was shot and killed. She was buried in a pauper cemetery. She had a son (age 17) and two daughters (ages 11 and 5). My wife and I took them in and cared for them as if they were our children. We already had a son and daughter, but we had to take the other three children in. It was the right thing to do.

Foot Wound

I had to travel to another city in August of 2019 as it was required for my job. I did a lot of walking and got a wound on my right big toe. Foot wounds can be very serious for a diabetic. I had to have skin graft surgery to repair it. I recovered but it was a process.

My Stroke

I had a stroke at the end of 2019. I could not walk nor even stand up without falling over. I would also vomit most of the time. It was extreme vertigo. I went to the hospital and they did two CT scans and could not find the blood clot. They thought it was an inner ear issue. They then did an MRI and saw a small blood clot on my brain stem. That caused the vertigo symptoms and inability to sit up. The doctor said that if the blood clot was just a hair to one side, it would have stopped my heart and lungs from functioning. It would have killed me.

I was bedridden for a time but I eventually began to recover. I was given Scopalomine patches to help with my vertigo and vomiting. After a week I could sit up and not vomit. I could then put myself into a wheelchair. I then began to use a walker. I went to therapy to assist me. I did my best to recover. I even encouraged other patients to do their best. After a couple of months, I was able to walk with a cane. It was during this time my employer informed me that once the FMLA ran out, I would not have a job. That put a lot of pressure on me to recover. I had to start going back to work on a limited basis.

I was using a cane when the rehabilitation facility had to isolate due to COVID 19. I was released before completing my rehabilitation due to COVID. I still have physical limitations. I had to return to work on a full-time basis to keep my job. I could perform my job functions as they were mental and not physical.

COVID 19

I got the COVID 19 Phizer vaccines on January and February of 2021 as I am at high risk for complications. I got a booster in late September of 2021. I contracted COVID in January of 2022, I had to be hospitalized as I had respiratory distress. Fortunately, it was the Omicron Variant. I knew a few people who died from COVID.

Bell’s Palsey

In early November 2021, I woke up in the morning and saw a lot of drool on my pillow. I got a drink of water but much of it ran out of my mouth. I also culd not blink my left eye. I noticed that the left side of my face was partially paralyzed. I ent to my doctor thinking I was having another stroke. My doctor checked me out and said it was Bell’s Palsey. He believed that the last COVID booster I took caused it. It took over a month for me to recover.

Auto Accident

In mid-November of 2021, I had a bad an auto accident. I was driving with my daughter in Mexico. It was nighttime and a vehicle was stopped in the right lane with the lights off just past a curve in the road. I did not see it until the last minute and slammed into the back corner of the other vehicle. My daughter and I were injured. My daughter was unconscious. She then regained consciousness but didn’t remember anything like who she was, who I was and what happened. She was taken to a hospital. She suffered a bad concussion and broken clavicle. She still has issues with her clavicle.

I had bad bruises on my chest and had to go to the hospital. I was checked out but there was no serious injury. I was then arrested by the local police for causing an accident. Accidents in Mexico are criminal offenses. I was put in jail to await disposition of my case. I must say that the other prisoners treated me well and cared for me. One of our fellow prisoners was a trustee so he would take care of us as best he could. I had to pay restitution and lost possession of my vehicle but was released after a few days.

Fired From My Job

As previously stated, I returned to work after having a stroke. My employer was so kind and thoughtful that they fired me in November of 2022. They made up an excuse, but I know the real reason why they did it. I had to cash out my retirement to live on for a while but that is running out. I have applied to hundreds of jobs but no one will hire me. It appears I am blackballed. I do not qualify for public assistance as I made money working last year. I also owe the IRS a lot of money that I don’t have since I withdrew my retirement early.

COVID 19: Part 2

I contracted COVID again in November of 2022. I went to the emergency room as I had respiratory distress. I was released after a short stay.

Foot Wound

In December of 2022, I had a callus on my right big toe that somehow got partially torn off my toe. I was hospitalized and stabilized. I was released after a few days. Although not as bad, I still have the wound.

Death Of My Stepgrandson

In May of 2023, My stepgrandson was found dead in Mexico. He was 22 years old and had moved out of our place over a year prior. The news was a shock to us. The cause of death was asphyxiation but circumstances were unusual. We suspect foul play but no real investigation was done. He had a wife who was pregnant with his unborn child. He was buried next to his mother. It is of some comfort to know they are buried next to each other.

Hospitalization Of My Daughter

In early October of 2023, I had to take my daughter to the hospital due to respiratory distress. She had bronchitis and had to stay in the hospital for a few days. She still has some issues but is much better now.

My Health Conditions

I am an insulin using diabetic. I had a stroke as a result which left me with some physical problems. I have high blood pressure. I also have retinopothy which affects my vision. I have neuropathy in my legs and feet. I also have stage 3 kidney disease. I take many medications, including Metformin, Jardiance, Kerendia, Clopipogrel, Losartan, Amlodipine, Rosuvostatin, Gabapentin, Toujeo lomg acting insulin and Aspart short acting insulin. Those medications are not cheap. I have also been diagnosed with depression as a result of losing my job. I was prescribed Zoloft but it seemed to make matters worse, so I stopped taking it.

Please Help!

Life has dealt me and my family a cruel hand these past few years. I know it is a lot of misfortunes, but truth is stranger than fiction. There is no exaggeration here. The loss of family hurt us very deeply. Losing my job hurt the most financially. I am at the end of my rope and need help.

We need to pay for living expenses such as groceries, gas, utilities, rent, etc. I also need assistance with my medications and our medical bills. Winter is coming and my kids need winter clothing as they outgrow last year’s clothes. These expenses alone are over $4,000 a month. Any help would be appreciated. I promise that if I receive assistance, I will help others in need to the best of my ability.

If anyone wants proof of my misfortunes, I have photos and/or documents to substantiate them. You can email me at gonzg915@gmail.com to request proof. My PayPal account is paypal.me/BG915. My Cash App account is $billgonz. Thank you so much for reading my story. I know it was a lot to get through.

Please Help Me Bid a Final Farewell to My Mother

To all the kind-hearted souls reading this,
I am Albert, a service member dedicated to my duty and country. But today, I write to you not as a soldier but as a devastated son grappling with the sudden loss of the most important person in his life – my mother.
Just five days ago, my world was turned upside down when I received the harrowing news that my mother had suffered a severe third-degree burn in a fire incident. At just 41 years of age, my mother was not just a beacon of strength and resilience for our family but the rock that held us together. A single mother of three, she juggled countless responsibilities with unwavering love and grace. My two younger siblings, aged 13 and 9, were her world; she worked tirelessly every day to provide for them despite the challenges that life threw her way.
I always found solace in the thought that despite the miles that separated us, my mother was safe and well in our hometown. Being stationed far away, it has been over six years since I last saw her radiant face. Just a week before the accident, our last conversation was filled with laughter, love, and promises of a reunion soon. Little did I know that it would be our last.
The heart-wrenching reality of living in a third-world country is that adequate medical care, especially for critical injuries like burns, is a luxury that many cannot afford. Desperate for updates, I was informed that she succumbed to her injuries. The pain is unbearable, and the confusion is overwhelming. The thought of my vibrant mother, the pillar of our family, no longer being with us is a reality I’m struggling to come to terms with.
I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a humble request. I need to fly to West Africa to be with my family, mourn the loss of my beloved mother, and ensure she receives the honorable bereavement she rightly deserves. Every moment I spend away from them only amplifies the pain and guilt of not being there in her final moments.
I would be grateful if you could assist me during this incredibly challenging time. No matter how small, every contribution will bring me one step closer to being with my family and saying my final goodbye to my mother.
In these moments of profound grief, I find solace in the kindness and compassion of strangers. I ask for your prayers, your support, and your blessings. From the depths of my heart, I thank you for considering helping me in my time of need.
With utmost gratitude,

PCA in need of Vehicle or new Engine ASAP

10/24/2023

Urgent car repair or new car funds needed ASAP

Let me start by thanking you for your kindness in reading my plight.

History: A working (poor) class – Personal Care Assistant (home health care)

This has been my 3rd used vehicle in the last 8 years.  Having been a single mother from an early age, I never could establish credit, never any extra money to even get a secured credit card. I have always (with some help of my family) had to buy cheep vehicles up front that we could pool our money for.

This car (at the mechanics), had to be towed in the middle of the night (10-22), I had to get my patient/consumer’s daughter to bring me back to her house, where I stayed gratefully, so I wouldn’t miss work that 8am-8pm (but mind you the nature of my job, is it is broken into 3 shifts 4, 3, 2 with several extended breaks. (just the nature of how PCA’s jobs are good, but around the clock, because of how Medicaid and Medicare pay for these services).

Another consumer returned from nursing home rehab on that same day. (For three months, my income was cut by half). My income will be returning enough if I can get this car situation taken care of.

I will not be able to fulfill all my duties (e.g. pharmacy runs, grocery runs, transports, even getting to job sites) until my car is either fixed, or replaced to include taxes paid and new registration fees.

I want to continue to be able to work, stop begging my sons for help (they cannot afford it either, but they try), and be a blessing,  I am asking humbly for assistance.

My son’s can either help me with my rent again or help me with some to get a car. I have raised wonderful young men, who are hard working, and try to help me as best as they can, but I feel I have been a burden these last few months when my income was cut for so long.

I am at a total loss, as to what amount I should ask for, as this is so fresh, and time is of the essence with cold weather here. There is no public transportation to my consumers’ locations, and because of the way my shifts run, Uber is not an option -It cost me $50, the last time I put my car in the shop in May  just to get home. (It would cost me apx. 100-300 / day)

If I stay out of work due to transportation, or lose any of my jobs due to lack of dependable transportation, this would continue to be an issue, and raise many more challenges. I am just shy of turning 54, caring, hard working, determined, but feeling a bit helpless.

As to car situation:

The timing belt has been rattling a bit, and I knew I was pushing it, trying to work to save enough money to have it fixed. So yes, I will admit that these last few months of damage lay squarely on my shoulders to blame. It let go, and I heard the pistons misfiring.

So either I get another engine for ‘05 Santa Fe or invest in another used vehicle to get me through a few more years.

Wish: based on a quick internet search prices for small SUV AWD ABS automatic start around $8000. I am looking for another small SUV, as my consumers (while can stand and pivot) need extra room,  room to place the wheelchair in, good on gas, good climate control,  and that is good on snowy hills (we live in an region that has all the best and worst of seasons heat/cold.

The engine for my 05’ Santa Fe is about 2000, plus labor (that is just the base if nothing else is wrong)

So if you are still reading my plea,  and should you feel like helping me with this emergency, I want to express my gratitude, words that seem too small at this moment.

Just know that  helping me continue to be able to work and be semi self sufficient, you are being a blessing so that I may continue to be a blessing.

Sincerely,

An Empty Nest Mom

Ayuda parcial hasta mi jubilación

Hello, I have been a carpenter and I have worked taking care of my family and now I have grandchildren.

With Covid, my work was diminished.

First, like everyone else, who works in people’s homes. You couldn’t go and do the work, but since I myself got sick and was hospitalized, my jobs became less and less.

The recovery took many more than six months. And I had scars on my lungs, which further restricted my entry into the workshop, since the dust is always in the air. I also had complications with my heart, but although I was treated accordingly, I can say that I have improved a lot and it is currently not a big problem.

But everything got complicated for me and my family, in the middle of last year when I started to have little mobility, my arms fell asleep and woke up, tingling almost constantly. Not only in my arms but my legs and waist were slowly losing mobility.

My last job was in November 2022. Starting in December I began to have severe pain, first in both legs and then only in the left. That’s why I was in a wheelchair, with a walker, with a cane. I have been in the hands of specialist doctors: neurologists, rheumatologists, traumatologists, spine specialists. The unfortunate thing about my visits is that they downplayed its importance, they told me: “well, use a cane.”

The last specialist was the Internist, who was able to verify a disabling problem and who expressed interest in retiring due to illness. But since I can be on a computer (at just turned 59), it is “impossible” for me.

A few months ago I started writing, trying to have another way of working. I wrote two little books on Amazon. I had as an excuse, where my ancestors came from. My mother told me how my Grandfather arrived, during the First World War, here in Uruguay. In my research, after a long time searching, I found that my family hundreds of years before was of Noble origin. I even found a shield with my last name. It was nice to know that I can write a book with all my research. [Read more…]

Drowning in debt trying to bring my wife home

My wife and I had been living together before recently getting married. My wife’s realtor stating he had a buyer for her father’s property in Brazil. My left to address this issue. My dear wife has been in Brazil for the last four months attempting to complete a sale transaction for her father’s piece of property.

We thought we finally raised enough money to pay the fees to complete the transaction so her money could be released, which was 4.5M, but was informed the other day that we need to pay more money, which we do not have since the other fees have taken everything else. We now owe 17, 000 to pay that old property tax that has been due on that piece of property. My IRA has been depleted and I am having difficulty raising enough money to bring her back.

I work as a social worker in a hospital and I currently am the only income in the home as she has been away. As a result , I have gone into debt . I have fallen behind on my house and car and need my car to work. I do not know what to do anymore. I have no family I can reach out to to help get her back. Everything I have tried has not panned out. I miss my wife terribly .

She is the love of my life. I have waited for her my entire life and now I can’t get her back. Any help would be most appreciated. I am at my wits end. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely and May God Bless

Gary Cantu
