These past couple of years have been extremely stressful. I got pregnant November of 2022 and since then everything has gone down hill.
I was working full time, got laid off and brought back a few months later. I was an industrial painter, painting box trucks and semis. I got overheated in the paint booth and was taken out by an ambulance. I was then told I couldn’t return to work because I needed papers from the hospital releasing me. After all that struggle I finally got the papers I needed. But when I returned they told me I was no longer allowed to paint so they put me on the line drilling screws into the truck floors. I had never worked in that area before and had to be trained. The person training me got irritated by me not learning quick enough so I started getting bullied. So i put my two weeks notice in and was unable to work the two weeks because the bullying got so bad. So I quit on the spot and a couple months later I found out I was pregnant.
At this point I’m as happy as ever pregnant with my first and only child. Everything was going fine until I got slapped with the medical bill of $100,000 for having an emergency c section. Everything went downhill at 10pm a month ago my car got repossessed, I couldn’t make the payments. Now I’ve got another car that’s 2 months behind and next month they’ll repo it as well and I won’t have transportation to take my 3 month old to the doctors/pediatrician.
Now I found out from my fiance that our house is in the process of foreclosing. We have no family, no where to go if we lose the house. I hate asking for money but, I don’t want my baby living on the streets as cold as it is out right now. I honestly feel like the worst person not being able to financially support my child the way that I’d hope. It’s just been hard this past year and it doesn’t seem to be improving only getting worse.
