Being a single mother especially in today’s era can be extremely overwhelming. If you are one of those mothers who is doing it alone every day you know what I am talking about. It seems like the bills just continue to pile up and never end.

Researchers have said that just in 2015 year ending alone over 80 percent of the households in America that we’re single households we’re in fact ran by a FEMALE head of household which we’re mostly living very poor.

Many people may say well there is government assistance for them to get a grant but it’s hard to find and information regarding that said topic anywhere. So in hopes to help the single mothers out in the world this article will give you some insight on the different assistance topics we can cover including where and how to get a grant or scholarship. Also, you will read and see how simple it is to receive help with income expenses and medical insurance.

Are there really grants for a single mother?

Of course they do but these grants are not only for single mothers. However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t help for a mother to receive one. I know its mind boggling that the government hasn’t had any means created for money for a single mother that is actually in the shape of a grant. One thing the government does for a single mother is they assist them through a group or have set sponsors through a company, and sometimes they are covered by the actual income assistance completely.

Below are a few websites that will redirect you to free items that you can get just for registering on the website.

Low Income Assistance for Single Mothers / Government Grants

As I said there is not an official grant for a single mother available that is FEDERAL. However a single mother can go through federal programs and register and sign up for them. Those kinds of programs are usually for households with low income. Which means you would also qualify for Welfare. No matter what the case these are programs to help those who make below the limit and live poorly.

Below are different types of assistance based in the United States.

TANF – TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE FOR NEEDY FAMILIES

TANF is a crucial for many low income families located within the US.

With TANF you receive a small amount of cash every month that you can use toward your food, rent, and other necessities. However you only receive TANF for up to 60 month limit.

If you are a single mother and you have children in your home who are less than 19 years old you are eligible for TANF.

SNAP – SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Food-stamps or SNAP as other people may refer to is financial help for meals. You can receive money every month to place food on the table if you are on low or no income.

For most of Americans living in poverty SNAP is potentially the only assistance they can get.

Research has shown that in 2015 SNAP benefits have helped at least 45 million Americans. Most of the ones who receive the stamps are under are up to the age of 18.

When you go to use your benefits for SNAP you have your own personal debit card to ring your groceries up with at the register. If you are interested in trying to get on with SNAP benefits all you have to do is fill and application out and send it in or take it into a local office that deals with SNAP benefits.

NSLP – NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM

This is a program that gives free (or discounted) food to students whose parent’s income is bellow a poverty level. The income needs to be at least between 130-185 percent bellow the poverty line.

Most the time if a person is a receiver of SNAP benefits their children will be accepted into this program for free lunches. But, that doesn’t mean if you don’t have or receive SNAP that your children are disqualified.

You need to contact your child’s school to apply.

TEFAP – THE EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Food for the American families who are in the poverty range not matter what the age.

If you have received food stamps before or any other program assisting you and helping you such as the ones in this article you could also be approved for this program.

You will need to contact your State distribution agency to learn more about the Emergency food assistance program.

Local Food Banks

A food bank doesn’t exactly fit into the whole “Grant” program area as it is actually a location in your town where you can get food if you are in need.

Do not allow you or your family to go without food. If you ever reach that trouble you can call 211 and ask them where the nearest food bank is based on your location.

More then 200 food banks exist with the feeding america foundation and they supply enough food to feed over 40 million people.

WIC – WOMEN, INFANTS AND CHILDREN PROGRAM

This program includes a package deal where you as a mother are able to receive healthy foods, whether you are pregnant or a new mother, and also to children who are 5 or under.

WIC is a program that is temporary and only used for a short amount of time – usually between 6 to 12 months.

EARLY HEAD START / HEAD START

These programs are for children up to 5 years old.

You can receive free child’s medical and dental care along with their schooling, and dietary needs.

Find your closes headstart office on their website or call at 1-866-763-6481.

Insurance for unemployment

This is a special program which will pay you weekly if you are unemployed and it had nothing to do with you for you being fired or let go. You will only be able to receive this benefit for maximum 26 weeks. Different states have different benefit rules. But most states will average out at about 45% of whatever the average weekly income is.

Single mothers who are out of a job temporarily can find solace with these benefits and can help make the burden less for themselves because this pay will restore what you have lost from losing your work.

If you want to try and get this started and opened for you, you will have to find your local unemployment office or apply on the website for this specific program. Most states will allow you to also try to sign up for this over the phone.

Section 8 housing

Section 8 is basically a program that helps a family be able to pay for their housing. If approved you will receive a voucher of up to 70 percent of your bills (utilities and rent). You are expected to pay the other 30 percent.

If you want to apply and feel you qualify you can get in touch with your local office involved with public housing, the HUD office.

CCAP – CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

This is a benefit for families who can’t afford to place their children in daycare while working.

You still have to pay a certain percentage but it isn’t a big lump of money. The less you earn, the less you need to contribute.

EITC – Earned Income Tax Credit

It is a tax benefit for people with low income. You could potentially get as much as $6,000.

If you normally have a tax rate of $1050 but you are allowed $5550 then you get refund of $4500.

There is a Children’s Tax Credit too for as much as $1,000 for EACH child.

LIHEAP – LOW INCOME HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

LIHEAP is a program that is a one time help to help pay for heating / cooling expenses.

Most of the time this is for the disabled or families with children or disabled person in the home.

If you need any extra information regarding this topic you can get in touch through the number 1-866-674-6327 or a local number for your local LIHEAP office.

WAP – WEATHERIZATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Weatherization assistance program lowers energy bills for families in need. Usually the elderly and families involving children are accepted and put to the top of the list before all.

Your monthly income need to be below 200 percent poverty level.

To apply, find a local WAP center.

Medicaid

Medicaid is help with medical expenses. If you do not have health insurance this gives you certain benefits as long as your income restriction meets the level it should.

A lot of single mothers may meet the standards to be recipients of Medicaid even if you are unemployed.

Every state has different rules about Medicaid plans. You can find out exact requirements on this website.

Together with ObamaCare it ensures that even single mothers who didn’t receive any health benefits will now be able to have coverage.

CHIP – CHILDREN HEALTH INSURANCE

CHIP gives children without health insurance a chance to have health benefits all the way up until they are nineteen. It is for families whose income is too high to receive Medicaid benefits.

It provides every type of benefit you can think of — dental, eye exams, and even annual doctor’s exams.

Every state has its own rules. If you would like to learn a little more about this specific benefit you can call 1-877 Kids now (1-877-543-7669)

Federal Pell Grants

Aid program for students of up to $5,815 for those in need to be able to set foot into college.

This is the best opportunity for a mother who is single to finally be able to finish her schooling and finally continue in the workforce. The money is completely free of charge with no interest rates or paybacks ever.

You need to fill out an application and submit it for a pell grant and have it turned in on or before June 30th of every year.

Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant

Similar to the Pell Grant. If you already have had pell grants and you are at the top of the charts in need you will be first on the list to receive this. Depending on a persons needs that are wrapped in with their financial struggle will ultimately decide who will receive anywhere between $100 too $4,000 annually.

Charities

Charities can be a way to seek help for you and your children whether you are in need of food or clothing or even housing. A lot of charities around the world actually have their own food banks that they run and they will give you bags of free food.

If you go to salvation army a lot of the times they will let you sleep there if you have no where else to go especially if it is a result of violence.

Churches

Most churches will offer you food and clothes or maybe even a place to stay if you have been recently kicked out by the one you are living with.

To find information on this you should look through your phone books local listing or yellow page. You can also research online and see what churches are available to your area and call them and ask what services they do offer.

Loans

Single moms can receive loans usually relatively quickly but I would not recommended that at all. You could potentially go into debt and not be able to rise back from that.

Sometimes you have no choice because you have to fix your broken car or maybe pay for utilities and food and need the help right then. But you have to be able to pay that loan realistically quick.

Pay attention to your credit because if you try to get a loan through a bank or anyone they will check your credit score and see if it is even available to be able to place a loan out to you. If it is a loan that is for payday loans or credit card advances they will not run a check but you will end up paying more after fees and costs.

Line of Credit

If your credit is decent some people ask a bank for a loan personally. Most of the time this is a better idea then asking for a payday loan because if you need quick money with lower rates of interest this is it.

Personal Loans

On a personal loan interest is lower dramatically but you have to pay in instalments. It doesn’t really fit criteria for an emergency. Normally if you just tell them you do not have any more funds and that is why you need this they will turn you away. If your credit is poor you will not be able to even touch this offer.

Short term (payday) loans

This is a very popular type of loan. You may know it by the term “Cash advance.” The interest runs really high on these and it is a loan that is only for a small time frame.

This is a loan that would more then likely be considered if a problem arises and you needed to repair your car or had a disastrous dental emergency. You have to know for sure you will be able to give every penny back.

If you do not pay this type of loan back you could be in loads of trouble financially.

Credit card cash advance

Do you own a credit card? If so you will be able to get money from a bank as easy as 1, 2, 3. This is not a method that is highly praised though because as soon as you start taking money out of the bank the interest keeps rising and you also are charged for using and pulling out of the bank a fee. This is potentially the easier options if you do need cash asap but you have to pay it back and make sure you absolutely can.

When it is all said and done grants will not solve your money issues within your home if that is what you expect. To get a grant is definitely not easy it isn’t a walk in the park by any means.

If you are looking to get a more stable source of financially being stable you should probably look in areas around you or find a women shelter until you can get back up on your feet.

If you think you have all the time in the world you can apply for other areas of assistance such as Food stamps, HUD, and etc. They do take a lot of time and effort for someone to get back with you and let you know if you have been accepted and enrolled. Try finding a part time working job as a way to financially start becoming stable again.

The moral of this is you can not expect a grant to fall into your hands without effort and take all your worries away. They are only here too do one thing and that doesn’t usually fix anything with your financial setting.

This is all on you and what you decide, no one else can decide for you.

Lily of the Valley

Hi, my name is Derek and im going to be a new dad. Im very excited but there is alot of uncertainty. My girlfriend and I live 4000 miles away from each other. She lives in Alaska while I live in Ohio. She has been told by her doctor that she had a 1 percent chance of conceiving a child because of a medical condition. Well, she got pregnant against all the odds and it seems we have a miracle baby on the way, a baby girl that we named Liliana or Lily for short.

What I’m asking is for some financial help so I can get to her and help her with everything she needs and the baby who is due in april. I work 10 hour days sometimes 60 hours a week and im exhausted the money is never enough and I feel im at my wits end trying to make ends meet. Please if you can find it in your heart to help a new struggling family 4000 miles away from each other I would truely be over the moon.

I need help to fix my car so that I can start my business, and this help my children who have various health conditions.

Hi, my name is Luz as a single mother of three children, one of them is Autistic and the eldest has a delicate health condition and even so, holding my hand together with my daughter is not enough, I want to be able to help them financially but I do not work since I have to take care of my Autistic son, but I also have health conditions that sometimes get complicated for me.

The reason for my letter is that we need help fixing our car so that my children can go to work and college. But I can also help them, it’s very frustrating when my health attacks me and also frustrating the economic factor of not being able to fix the car’s transmission and thus be able to move well. On the other hand, it would help me to be able to start a food business and thus feel useful and be able to help my children. So, what I’m asking for to start is $10,000 so I can fix my car and be a little emotionally relieved

I very much appreciate your time in reading my letter, I also very much appreciate your valuable time in helping me. Below I send the link for the help required.

Single mother in need of a vehicle and Christmas gifts for 3 amazing boys!!

“The troubles of my heart have enlarged; Bring me out of my distresses!

Psalm 25:17

Hello and Happy Holidays! I want to start by saying “thank you” to all who have found it in your heart to be so kind and generous to help others find hope during our time of need.

Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it, it will be measured back to you.  Luke 6:38

My name is Savannah and I am a 37 year old single mother of 3 amazing young boys; Jamison(16) Kason(15) and Audrik(11).  I am a licensed Cosmetologist in North Carolina and I have loved my career for almost 18 years. I am very passionate about my work and love nothing more than to make people feel great about themselves. Over the years, I have been blessed with amazing clients and I strive to do my best work on each and every one of them. As we all have experienced hardships throughout our lives, at this time, I am coming here to ask for not only financial assistance but also your prayers. Just recently, I have found the strength, through lots of prayer and thought, to walk away from an extremely unhealthy, toxic relationship. For the last 4 years, I have been mentally and emotionally abused by a man who said he loved us. My children, his children(17 and 19 year old girls) and I have been fed so many lies, broken promises and were told to wait until he made it and we would all be fine. I was tired of the lies, the broken promises, excuses, narcissism and gaslighting a long time ago, but I had to figure out the safest and easiest way to ask him to leave without him hurting us further. Due to his carelessness, unfortunately he left us with a huge financial mess. He took the vehicle that I was driving daily to get my children to and from school and all of their sporting events. I am not able to afford a reliable vehicle(or any vehicle) at this time, I’m struggling to pay my bills and I definitely don’t have anything extra to buy my children anything for Christmas this year. I have a wonderful support system from my family friends, but unfortunately none of them are able to financially help me at this time. To hear my children tell me they are proud of me for protecting them means everything to me. I want to be able to help them feel safe in a reliable vehicle and they deserve to wake up on Christmas morning with gifts. I do work hard, full time from a salon space in my home and before he took the car, I was delivering for Ubereats and Spark driver for Walmart. I can no longer do my deliveries and its been such a huge struggle to keep up with everything. My parents divorced after almost 30 years of marriage just before Covid hit and they moved to different states and I no longer have family close to help me transport my children to and from their activities. I was working in a salon when Covid hit, but unfortunately was laid off in 2021. I decided to make a small salon in my home so that I could have the flexibility for my children and their schedules. I love being able to be a part of my childrens sports and school activities. I’m not one to ask for help but this is my only hope for a new beginning and a great Christmas for my children. Please help me provide a fresh start for my 3 amazing boys! I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to hear my cry for help and for contributing any way that you can. I hope you all and your families have a very blessed and Merry Christmas. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! GOD BLESS!

Help me do JUSTICE, I am a single mother. I need them

It is with a heart full of need and hope that I reach out to you today. On October 4th in Orlando Fl, I received the most devastating news any mother could face: I discovered that my daughter has been a victim of sexual abuse by my ex-husband since she was 11 years old; at that time, she was 15. Three and a half years have passed since then, and we find ourselves in a challenging situation where we have decided to seek justice with the help of a lawyer.

Unfortunately, to date, we have not received concrete answers from the prosecutor’s office, and this struggle has accumulated a significant financial burden. Additionally, stemming from my marriage, I also have a young son of 5 years. Last year, I dealt with COVID-19 on two occasions, which forced me to stop working and, as a result, accumulate debts with personal loans that I have not been able to settle.

I thank God because, despite all the hardships, we have not lacked shelter or food. My rent and utility payments are up to date, but now I face the challenge of covering the legal fees needed to address this painful case. My intention is not only to seek justice for my daughter but also to alleviate the financial burden that this situation has brought into our lives.

At this moment, I need to raise $30,000 to cover the lawyer’s fees and settle the outstanding debts affecting my credit history, preventing me from accessing loans or any other form of financial assistance.

I humbly ask, from the bottom of my heart, that you consider joining this cause and helping me in this challenging situation. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference and bring us one step closer to justice and financial stability.

I deeply appreciate your support and thank you in advance for any help you can provide. May God bless all the generous hearts that join this cause.

With gratitude,

But I wasn’t raised that way. I come from a family who is hardworking. Unfortunately, my parents aren’t well off nor have any money to help me .

It’s started October 16 2022 my 8 year old, then my daughter canr up to me to tell me that my boyfriend of 7 years was abusing her. He betrayed us in the worst ways. She called him dad. I gave this man everything I had to give n loved him. I took care of his mom while she was sick with a stroke . I wiped her and cared for her like as if she was my mom. I reposted to police but nothing was done he glad the country. While my daughter is left with mental issues n PTSD. I fell into a depression, I had just bought my brand new car I got covid and I was bedbound for over a month before I can go back to work . I missed my car insurance payment and got In an accident Feb 3rd 2023. Since no insurance. I lost it and got stuck with a whole car loan . Credit score went down. My job has been so understanding.

My daughter started having issues in school and forced me to work only 3 days a week , so she can start her therapy. I pay 1600 a month for rent. I’m behind 2 months right now. Still no car , bills are just piling up. 4 days ago, I talked to my dad. (My world) he is having surgery next week. For possible kidney cancer. I can’t even go and be with him or help him. Single going through hardship

Hello,

I would first like to start off by saying thank you to anyone who provides any assistance and reads my cry for help.

My dad passed away three months ago and everything has went down hill for me since. My job did not allow bereavement pay and I had to miss days of work, which caused me to be way behind on bills and other expenses. Since he has passed, my mom has been struggling to pay her bills and I have been helping her to make ends meet and now i am trying to get back on my feet with my bills. I have been working major overtime and am still falling short on payments. I am behind two months on my rent and am now facing eviction with a balance of $3,100 which includes my rent and court fees. Also, before my dad passed away, my car broke down and he was trying to repair it but didn’t get a chance to finish, which caused me to take it to the dealership for repairs, which came to a total of $3400 and I have no way of paying for that right now. Everything just happened so fast and this is the lowest i have ever been and have felt. Between grieving, having two boys to stay strong for and take care of , facing eviction, car repairs, and trying to help my mom the best way I can has been it’s has been so so so hard.  Please please please help and thank you for hearing my situation and for any assistance.

A Woman’s Journey of Hardship and Hope for a Fresh Start

I wanted to share a part of my journey with you, as I believe in the power of connection and seeking support in times of need.

For 18 years, I was fortunate to be with my amazing ex-husband, who had a college degree and supported me in my role as a stay-at-home mom. It allowed me to focus on raising our children, but during those 14 years, I battled severe depression. As I began the process of reentering the workforce, I faced the daunting challenge of starting from scratch, having no work experience over the past 14 years. I began at minimum wage and slowly worked my way back up.

Since my divorce and living on my own, I have been able to stabilize my financial situation a bit. The bills are now more manageable, and I have worked hard to achieve a decent wage. However, during this journey, I found myself in an unhealthy relationship with a narcissistic man who betrayed and treated me as if I were insignificant. The immense stress from this experience took a toll on my well-being, causing me to lose 50 lbs in just four months. To compound matters, I had two cars break down within a short span of time, leaving me without a vehicle for over six months.

However, amidst the challenges, a small miracle occurred. I received a refund from the IRS, which allowed me to pay off credit card debt and purchase a vehicle. Unfortunately, it came to my attention that the vehicle had accumulated two years’ worth of back registration and penalties. I had to bear the burden of paying nearly $1,000 to obtain the necessary plates. As I diligently saved to pay off this unexpected expense, my beloved dog fell ill and was diagnosed with cancer. I had to redirect my savings towards his medical bills and my new vehicle’s unexpected repairs. Consequently, I was occasionally compelled to rely on credit cards to cover essential expenses such as bills, gas, and groceries.

Adding to the difficulties, a recent incident at the laundromat resulted in the theft of virtually all my clothing. Additionally, there are underlying medical and dental issues that I have hesitated to address due to the associated copays and costs. It often feels as though one challenge follows another. While I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason, I now find myself craving a fresh start, a clean slate to rediscover where I truly belong in this world.

With great humility, I reach out to you for a helping hand. Asking for help is not easy for me and I don’t do it very often. My sole desire is to eliminate my debt and move forward with my life, propelled by the determination to succeed and grow. Furthermore, I am making plans to leave the city I have called home for over 20 years, not only to be nearer to the love of my life but also to break free from what feels like a stagnant existence.

I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to read my story and extending your support. Your empathy and understanding mean the world to me. Should you have any advice, resources, or opportunities that may assist me in my journey, I would be incredibly grateful.

Thank you once again, and may kindness and compassion guide your path.

Complete Destruction

I am a single 36 year old with 3 children. I have 2 girls and 1 boy. My girls are 15 and 17 and my son is 3. My 2 girls father walked out of the picture on September 8, 2019 when he was pulled over and arrested for Felony Driving Under the Influence (BAC 0.421) and 2 counts of Felony Child Endangerment. I say walked out of their lives because he made the choice to drink and then drive with our children in the car. Neither one of my girls has accepted contact from him since this incident although he has tried. My sons father walked out of his life before he was even born. I was 3 months pregnant when his father was arrested on a Parole Violation for 1st Degree Sexual Assault with Penetration and was sent to prison. I was unaware that he even had a criminal past let alone for something this serious. I moved back to my home town on March 14, 2020 and the very next day COVID shut everything down. Despite the hardships that came with COVID, I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in May and life was slowly returning to normal for us. On June 19, 2020, 4 weeks after giving birth to my son, I took what was supposed to be a temporary summer job working for a friend of mine in her tanning salon. This very shortly became a grave passion of mine. Not because I love to tan but because there is so much more to tanning than just tanning. I learned so much about the human skin and was even given the opportunity to work with a few local Dermatologists and The Cancer Treatment Center as we offered a Red Light service that was extremely beneficial to patients. I ended up turning my passion into my career, soared into the unknown world of tanning and managed this salon for a little more than 3 years. While I did not ever get certified as a technician, I can now upgrade electrical from 1-phase and 2-phase to 3-phase, disassemble and assemble tanning machines, perform the needed maintenance required to keep the beds running, and educate the public in regards to safe and unsafe tanning because yes there is safe tanning. On May 25, 2022, the salon was sold to new owners, a lawyer and a physical therapist, and I was asked to stay as their manager and I was a little too quick to agree. Of course I was going to stay, I love what I do. The new owners were great, until they weren’t. We signed a 3 year hourly based contract that stated I would be paid for no less than 40 hours a week and would be paid accordingly if I worked over 40 hours in a week. In the summer of 2022, I practically lived at the salon. I was putting in between 50 and 100 hours of overtime the whole summer and on many occasions was told they expected more out of me. I tried not to let their expectations and rude comments get to me but as time went on the comments got worse and I was breaking. In April of 2023, my contract was broken and I was no longer being paid for 40 hours a week. It was decided that my hours were to be cut to between 12 and 18 hours a week and I would only be paid for those hours and was only paid for extra hours during the periods of time where I was the only employee. I also was paid at a regular rate for all overtime worked. When I confronted the owners and reminded them about our contract, I was told, “If you don’t like it, sue us.” I knew then there was nothing I could do and like I said earlier, I love what I do and was willing to put up with the way I was being treated. Then throughout the summer of 2023, I had to call in, which I never do, as I was in and out of the hospital for numerous health reasons like 19 kidney stones, 2 hernias and a few other reasons. I also called in when my son was kidnapped by is fathers family and while he was only gone for 22 hours, I was in a state of shock and hysteria and would not have been able to perform at work. Unfortunately, every time I called in, the salon was closed due to me being their employee at those times. It was more often than not that I was their only employee. This only led to more tension between the owners and myself. In September of 2023, 2 new girls would start and I would train them both as this was one of my duties. One was doing well and the other not so much. So when one of the owners paid me a visit on October 26, 2023 and asked for a report on the 2 girls, I said just that but with more details. At the end of our conversation, I was informed that I was being let go as it was time that the salon be represented by a much younger and prettier face. I was devastated, still am and now I’m faced with financial ruins. There is not another salon in my town to work for and the worst thing is that when I asked the owner what I was going to do, she simply said without any emotion, “You shouldn’t have divulged all your time and energy into this career path and divulged some into a backup plan.” I didn’t know I needed a backup plan as we signed a contract for 3 years. What I haven’t mentioned yet is that in December of 2020, my son was diagnosed with Tracheomalacia. He was born with his right airway completely collapsed. It is often that children born with this condition outgrow it between the ages of 3 and 5. My son however has not. There has been zero improvement and now we are faced with having to place stints in that airway. He will have to have them replaced every couple of years as he grows. He has already undergone 4 major procedures. We travel 3 hours one way to see one specialist and 7 hours another way for his surgeries. I unfortunately am struggling financially and am about to lose everything but more importantly my car. Without my car I cannot travel with my son to see his doctors and for his surgeries. The finance company has already begun calling threatening to reposes my car and I am at a loss. I feel hopeless. I have applied everywhere in town and for the most part, no one will be doing any hiring until after the holidays are over. I have already explained to my children there will be no Christmas this year and things are going to get very hard for a few months and they were more than understanding. We have actually decided not to put up our tree this year with the hopes that it will help ease the disappointment come Christmas morning. I am asking for any kind of help you may be willing to give our family. We are ever so grateful to any kind of offering.

Single First Time Mom. Rent Carnote And Utilities Are All Past Due.

To Whom It May Concern. Iam A single first-time mom to a beautiful baby boy. It has really been a struggle for me adjusting to motherhood and trying to figure out how to keep the bills paid. I do work but I haven’t been able to return to work due to not having a babysitter. Also, my job doesn’t offer maternity leave. So, because of that I had to apply for unemployment. I was able to get unemployment for the first two weeks of my maternity leave. I than received a letter stating I no longer qualified.  Ever since then everything has been downhill for me. I’m currently three months behind on my rent. My landlord sends me threatening text messages saying how she thinks it’s time for me to move out. And she will hire someone to come get my stuff out. Also, my electric has been turned off for days. causing me to sleep at friend’s houses so I can charge my phone and warm my baby bottles up. Also, my car just got repossessed. My baby has his doctor’s appointments he needs to get to but now it’s hard for me to take him since my car is gone. Also, it’s so cold outside I don’t want to have him outside for long waiting on public transportation. I really don’t know what to do. I have no one to turn to at this point. I pray this message will find someone with a kind heart willing to help.

Please help!

Hi!
My name is Juana Deras, I have been living in Austin,Texas for the past 20 years… i am originally from Honduras. I came to the United States legally with two of my sons… we flew to Miami and drove to Austin ,one of them Joined the navy and the other one clean houses, we came to the USA for a better future!  I worked all this time as a nanny and really like the Job I like kids a lot so it was a nice place of work for me! I’m still in contact with many of the families and sometimes they invite to go visit them since some of them have moved out of Austin, I have worked since I was 18 years old my first job was as a secretary worked there for 15 years then I purchased a cafeteria and did that until we moved out of my country, I have four kids 3 boys and 1 girl my husband left us in 1991 he came back years later and help with the kids but we never got back together. now I’ll be turning 64 on December 10th, I never saw doing  something like in my life this but I guess when you have no more options you have to put your pride aside and just ask for help! I don’t wanna sound like someone who is just giving up because I’m not, even though I’m not that young anymore I feel very alive and think that I still have something in me to offer to others. Now that you know who I am and where I come from I would kindly ask for your help, I’m sure you get many stories daily since a lot of people are in need nowadays but believe when I say that I would not be doing this if I weren’t in the situation that I’m in right now, my sons help me all the time but I wanna feel like I’m still independent and that I can cover my expenses without asking them all the time! My health is not the best so I don’t have the strength to take care of kids anymore, I have been on medication for anxiety I don’t like how the pills make me feel so I don’t take them anymore! I’m not really sure on how to ask for money… I write this email with shame but have no other option! I was wondering if i could have somewhere between  $20,000 to $50.000 or how much you think you can give me. so I can pay some medical bills also pay the government who loaned me $8000 and to have enough money to survive for multiple years, also Christmas is coming and I would like to buy a little something for my two grand kids that are in San Antonio, Texas. In my current situation I won’t be able to buy them a little toy and that makes my eyes watery because I can’t even afford to do that!   I am very good with money so I know it is going to last me a long time! Maybe for some people the amount I’m asking for is not much but for me it is! I’m a low maintenance person!
I wish you the very best and hope that wherever you are you are safe and blessed.

thank you very much for taking the time to read my story!
may God bless you and your love ones!!!

Please help reunite me with my kids

I am reaching out to you today with a humble request for assistance in reuniting with my children, who are currently residing in Indiana.

Allow me to provide some background information. I recently made the difficult decision to leave my husband in Florida due to severe abuse that I was enduring. However, in doing so, he kept our children in Indiana, which has caused immense heartache for both myself and my little ones. It is my utmost priority to bring my family back together again, creating a safe and loving environment for my children to thrive in.

Currently, I am in the process of securing legal representation to help me navigate the complexities of family law and ensure the safe return of my children. Additionally, I am searching for a suitable home in Indiana, where I can provide them with stability and a nurturing environment. Unfortunately, I am facing significant financial struggles due to major medical issues that I have been dealing with, making it challenging for me to cover the costs associated with relocation and furnishing a new home.

This is where your generosity and goodwill can make an immense difference. I am kindly seeking your support through a donation towards my moving expenses and furnishings, which will enable me to create a comfortable and secure space for my children upon their return. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will go a long way in reuniting my family and helping us heal from the hardships we’ve endured.

To facilitate your donation, I have also set up a dedicated fundraising campaign through cash app, where you can securely contribute towards our cause. Alternatively, I would be grateful if you could provide details about any other preferred donation channels or methods that are more convenient for you.

I understand that you may receive numerous requests for assistance, and I am genuinely grateful for your time and consideration. Your support will not only create a positive impact on my children’s lives but also restore our faith in humanity, reminding us that compassion and empathy can truly make a difference.

Thank you once again for considering my request. Please feel free to contact me via the provided email address or phone number if you require any further information or have any questions. Your compassion and generosity are greatly appreciated, and I hope to soon share the joyous news of our reunion with you

Thank you so very much!

I’m looking for help with my entreprenurial goals to escape the poverty cycle.

Hi there, and thank you for clicking on my request! My name is Selena Ward, and I’m a 37 year old low-income single mom. I’ll start off with a bit about myself and how I found myself in this situation.

I was raised in a cycle of generational poverty, trauma, addiction, and abuse. My mother has untreated BPD. She married too young, and when I was only two, she left my father, ran to another state, and began an abusive relationship with a man 18 years her senior.

During the first 10 years of their relationship, they were methamphetamine addicts and drug-dealing swingers who often took us along to their drug deals. When they hadn’t completely abandoned us for sometimes weeks at a time. I was exposed to physical, mental, emotional, and sexual abuse. I also witnessed regular domestic violence against my mother.

Due to this, I spent many years lost and frozen in depression. When I was young, I drank too much, smoked massive amounts of marijuana and cigarettes, and generally participated in unhealthy and harmful behaviors.

My life changed when, at 22, I became pregnant following a date rape. I chose to keep the pregnancy and raise my son. When he was 5, he was diagnosed with severe ADHD, and later Autism. He has always struggled with schooling, and has fallen quite far behind in his education, although he is brilliant with technology.

Over the past few years, I have been working diligently on healing and improving myself. I’ve also been building a plan that would allow us to live better lives.

Now that my mental health is stable, I am looking to expand myself in becoming a freelance copywriter to break this cycle of poverty and build a better life for myself and my son.

This is only the first step of my plan. Ultimately the goal is to move into an RV for a couple of years to have a grand adventure with my son while building social skills and improving on cultural awareness while we find the right place to put down roots with an organic homestead. But until then…

I believe that I have the foundations of copy down, and am creating a sample portfolio to assist with client acquisition. However, I could use some help.

I am looking for any contributions that would help attain a newer and capable laptop for my small business, and more importantly, assist in allowing me to hire a business coach.

I would be grateful for any help on the journey to a better life. I have a single proprietorship Llc founded that all donations would go to directly. My business PayPal link is:

Even if you don’t choose to contribute, thank you for taking the time to read. Have a blessed day.

Christmas Bind

Hi, I’m a single mother of two teenagers living with MS. My youngest child has autism and things can get a little difficult. I am working full time to provide for my children and since Christmas is coming, I have even been working overtime just to provide the essentials . I live in California and the cost of living is through the roof. I am by no means lazy and would pick up another job if it was possible but having a child with special needs as well as a disability makes it close to impossible. Someone please help me to make Christmas special for my two children who don’t ask for too much and will appreciate even a simple Christmas.
