Medical assistant

At only 4 years old, I was shot during the war in South Sudan. The bullet left permanent damage in my thigh, with metal still inside my leg and two large scars that remain open and painful.

For many years, I have lived with physical pain, especially during cold weather, and emotional pain from the scars I carry. Growing up, I struggled with confidence and often felt ashamed of my body.

I dream of having surgery to remove the metal and repair the damage so I can live without pain and finally feel confident in my own skin.

I am asking for any help possible toward medical treatment. Your kindness could help me heal from wounds caused in childhood and give me a fresh start.

Thank you for reading and supporting me.

Medical bills adding up!

Hello internet. I’ve come across some hard times. I am currently injured via a work incident. My thumb got smashed between 2 hard spot while at work a couple of weeks ago. Workers Comp is covering it and helping, it’s just slow and takes time. I’m going to be out 4 more weeks. Last week, my wife who is an independent contractor got injured. She dislocated her knee, so she can’t walk currently. I think her recovery could be a a month at quickest maybe 2 months. And now lastly, my son age 8 has had a tooth injury outside playing ball with other kids. He’s got great teeth, but the ball knocked his tooth out of position. He’s gonna need a corrective procedure which won’t be cheap to fix his. So we are a household of injured people. If anyone could help ue out, it would mean the world to us. The bills are stacking up between rent, car payments, utilities and more. We are going to add child care/tutoring because my son is gonna miss some school. if anyone donates $3K, as soon as I get WC check, I will definitely pay that person back.

Ukrainian trying to survive alone in new country

I’m Polina – a Ukrainian living in the Netherlands.

Because of the war, I had to leave my home and everything I knew behind. The journey was not just difficult, it was traumatic, and I’m still living with the effects of it every day.

Now I’m here, trying to rebuild my life completely from zero. I work hard, but it often feels like I’m just surviving, not living. I’m alone in a new country, without family or support, and it’s honestly very overwhelming.

I struggle with depression and the emotional impact of everything I’ve been through. Some days are really heavy, and even simple things take a lot of energy.

But despite all of this, I still want to move forward. I want to study, grow, and build a stable, meaningful life here. I don’t want to just survive – I want a future.

Right now, I simply can’t afford education on my own. Mostly because for Ukrainians cost 3 times higher than for Europeans, around 9000€ per year and I barely have money for normal life and food.

If you choose to support me, you’re not just helping financially – you’re giving me a real chance to rebuild my life, step by step 🤍

Thank you for reading, and for being part of my journey.

Support for a Young Family Preparing for a Miracle Baby

https://paypal.me/abbiewillett21

My Husband and I are currently going through a very challenging period in our lives, and we are reaching out for support as we try to create a stable future for our growing family.

We are both living at home with family while doing everything we can to save for a place of our own. Our goal has always been to build a safe, secure environment before welcoming a child, but life has not gone to plan. I am currently pregnant, and this baby means everything to us. I have struggled with fertility issues, so being able to carry this pregnancy is something we truly see as a miracle. We are incredibly grateful, but it has also come with unexpected financial and emotional strain.

Recently, I lost my job not long after my pregnancy became known. Since then, I have been actively trying to find new employment, but it has been extremely difficult to secure work while pregnant. Many opportunities fall through, and the uncertainty has made it hard to regain stability. My partner is working, but one income is not enough to keep up with our growing expenses, especially with a baby on the way.

Despite living at home to reduce costs, we are still facing ongoing bills, medical expenses, and everyday necessities that continue to build. We are doing everything we can to budget carefully, cut back where possible, and plan ahead, but we are finding it increasingly difficult to stay on top of everything.

Our biggest hope is to be able to move into our own space before or shortly after the baby arrives. We want to provide a calm, secure environment where we can begin this next chapter as a family. Right now, we feel stuck between trying to prepare for our child and managing financial pressure that keeps setting us back.

Any support we receive will go directly toward essential living costs, preparing for our baby, and helping us move toward stable housing. More than anything, it will give us some breathing room during a time that should be filled with excitement, rather than stress.

We are not asking for a handout lightly. We are working hard, planning for the future, and doing our best to stay positive through a difficult situation. Any contribution, no matter how small, would make a meaningful difference in helping us get through this and focus on welcoming our baby into a more secure and supported environment.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any support you may be able to offer.

Nino Needs Your Help

Hi,

Since the cat was around 3 to 4 months old, we took him from the streets and adopted him. We called him Nino, and we can proudly say that he has lived his entire happy cat life (9 years now) with us, and he has become like a family member mainly to me and my dad.

A month ago when I arrived home, I found him in an unusual place and not wanting to eat, which is strange because he rarely doesn’t accept food of almost any kind (really, one time we found him eating a piece of a watermelon). I didn’t think too much about it; however, the next day I decided to take it to the vet, as he still didn’t want to eat or drink water.

At the veterinarian’s, they performed the relevant tests and found a parasite and that he has cat HIV, but what shocked me is that we castrated him at a very young age, and after all these years they never found that he was suffering from this. And now I realize it is a possibility not to be detected for a long time, but after it gets sick, which is what is happening now for the first time.

This was a month ago, and I’m seeing that his condition hasn’t improved that much after giving all the medicine prescribed by the veterinarian.

After getting the parasite, he is now very weak and has lost a lot of weight, which breaks my heart seeing him in this condition.

Now, in about two or three days I need to take him back to the veterinarian and most likely buy some more medicine for him to have an appetite and improve his defenses and also buy antibiotics.

The issue is that I’ve lost my job due to all the controversy in New Jersey (I work remotely as a freelancer). Although I find some work here and there, things are getting pretty tough; even my dad has started working once again at 70 years of age. As a freelancer, sometimes the gigs are not as frequent as I’d like them to be. This is why I’m taking some courses and learning new skills to improve my income capability and, hence, be more financially stable.

Among the things that I want is to get financially stable enough so my dad doesn’t have to work anymore and I can cover all the expenses, and the urgency for us at this moment is that we are able to pay all the bills, including our beloved Nino’s medical bills too.

This is like my last resource, and I’ll pray for some kindhearted people that can support us this time! I also will pray that God repay you tenfold!

Thank you!!

Single dad needs help

Hello, my name is Eashwer.

I am a father to two beautiful boys, aged 2 and 5 months.

My story is probably one you’ve heard of before, I was pretty well off, a workaholic. Then I met my wife, and she liked to live beyond my means. I took debt after debt to appease her ( like and idiot all the debt is in my name…). And after 3 years of marriage she is planning on leaving me..now with over 70k in debt and needing to pay alimony, I am stuck and desperate. There is a sliver lining though, I just got approved for my dream job in working in law enforcement, but where I live, I am not able to start until I clear off my loans to licensed money lenders. I am not seeking to just clear my mistakes with your help, I just need 10k, to pay off the moneylender, so that I can get my dream job and work towards righting everything else. I need a hard reset. Please help me.

Christian Parents of 3 College Students in a Financial Mess – Praying for Help

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to humbly request consideration for financial assistance during a time of significant hardship for our family.

Recently, we have experienced several financial challenges that have made it difficult to keep up with our basic obligations. Our electric and gas utilities are currently at risk of disconnection due to outstanding balances, and we are currently two months behind on our car payment.

A major contributing factor has been a rental property we own. Our current tenant has not paid rent and now owes approximately $7,000. We have made the difficult decision not to renew the lease when it ends on April 30, 2026. In the meantime, we have also had to cover utility expenses for the property, which has added to our financial strain.

At the same time, we are supporting three young adult children who are all full time college students. While two of them are working, they are managing their own financial responsibilities, including car payments which are necessary for them to commute, they do not support our bills. Our third child serves as a resident assistant (RA) at her college, which provides for housing but does not include income for daily expenses, so we assist her with necessities such as food and gas. She has not extra time for an additional job to earn money.

Additionally, we have faced several unexpected home and car repairs, which have further limited our ability to stay current on essential bills like gas and electric. In working to manage these expenses, we have depleted much of our savings in an effort to stay afloat. Our expenses/debts outweigh our income.

We have reached out to our utility companies to request assistance; however, we were informed that our income exceeds their qualification limits. Unfortunately, these determinations do not take into account the full scope of our financial obligations, including significant debt, ongoing hardships, and the responsibility of supporting three children in college.

We owe:
Electric = $2,513.65
Gas = $3,890.36
Capital One Auto = $1,140.90

In the past, our fathers were able to help us during difficult seasons, but both have passed away within the last two years. RJ, has also retired due to health issues, which has reduced our household income.

We are Christians who regularly attend church. This situation has impacted our ability to tithe consistently, which weighs heavily on our hearts. We know the importance of putting God first in our finances, and we remain committed to returning to faithful tithing and giving over to help others in need.  We would like to donate to others on this site rather than be requestors.

We did make a benevolence request to our church.  They told us they usually give $100 or $500 so our request is much larger than what they give.

We are doing everything we can to stabilize our situation and move forward in a healthy financial position. We are standing in faith, trusting that God is our provider and that He will help us overcome this temporary season. It is truly our desire to not only recover, but to one day return to a position to bless others and give generously, just as we have been blessed.

We would be deeply grateful for any assistance  you are able to provide during this time. Thank you for your consideration.

After 10+ Years Without Teeth, I Just Want to Smile Again.

I haven’t had teeth in over 10+ years. I avoid mirrors, hide my smile, and struggle just to eat. I’ve saved $15,000 on my own — but I can’t finish this without help.

Dear Kind-hearted Donors,

My name is Tamilynn and I am a 64-year-old woman who is facing a challenge that has deeply affected my life. I am reaching out today because I desperately need your help in getting dental implants, a procedure that could transform not only my appearance, but my ability to live a normal, healthy life.

For many years, I have struggled with severe dental issues that eventually led to the complete loss of my teeth. What most people take for granted — simply eating a meal — has become painful and frustrating. I can no longer enjoy the foods I once loved, and even soft foods can be difficult at times. Smiling, which used to come naturally, is now something I avoid. I often hide my face, avoid mirrors, and withdraw from social situations because of the embarrassment I feel

This has affected more than just my physical health. It has taken a deep emotional toll on me.There is a quiet loneliness that comes from feeling like you have to hide yourself from the world. I miss laughing freely, smiling without thinking, and simply feeling comfortable being seen.

Dental implants are not a cosmetic luxury for me — they are a necessity. They would allow me to eat properly again, improve my health, speak clearly, and restore my confidence and dignity. They would truly give me my life back.

Unfortunately, I live on a fixed income, and this life-changing procedure is far beyond what I can afford. I have spent years saying and have managed to set aside $15,000, but I still have a long way to go. I have explored every option available to me, but nothing has been enough to make this possible on my own.

My total goal is $45,000, and I already got off to a good start thanks to years of saving. With your help, I truly believe this is possible.

I’m not getting any younger, and I would love the chance to enjoy life again while I still can.

If you are able to give — even a few dollars — it would mean more to me than I can ever express. Every donation brings me one step closer to being able to smile again without fear or shame.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my story. Your kindness, compassion, and generosity truly have the power to change my life.

With deepest gratitude,
Tamilynn

Caretaker in need of a car

Hello, my name is Jennifer. I am really hoping you can please help me to raise money for a new car. I have been providing 24hr care for my mom, so I can’t work; I’m on ssi and I haven’t been able to save money for a car because my funds are tied to important bills. I’ve been so focused on my mom that my self care routine has been neglected, which is causing some health issues to arise. The lack of sleep has taken its toll on my body. Doctors can’t figure out what’s wrong and more tests are needed to be done. I would like to get a new car, so I can take my mom and I to our doctor appointments, dental appointments and even make quick errands at the grocery store, if needed. I thought I could do without a car, but lately life challenges have made it difficult to ignore.

I usually rely heavily on my healthcare insurance for their transportation benefits for non-emergency medical visits, but sometimes they can be unreliable. In the past, I have had 4 times where I scheduled a driver and they canceled on me. I had to wait for another 30 minutes for another driver to come get me, which made me late for my appointment. That’s time wasted because I have to get back home to help my mom. The downside to this program is I have to give the insurance company an 3 days notice for when I want to schedule a pick up for a doctor appointment that they must approve first. I think it would be awesome to have a car for my doctor appointment, so when a doctor can pencil me in for a walk- in, it wouldn’t be an issue. I can’t do that with this program. Although I’m very grateful for my health insurance and their program services, the thing is, I can only use it for doctor appointments. I can’t take it to do grocery shopping or run quick errands. I have to rely on third parties apps like Walmart plus where I can order my personal items, but I grew extremely fearful of leaving my food in the hands of unsupervised people. I’m on a very tight budget, so I can’t get an uber or a Lyft. I have to depend on my sister to get us food. Unfortunately, She works and lives far away and it’s been hard to us into her schedule. I know there are people with far more grave and dire circumstances than me, but I thought I would just ask. Like that saying You never know, until you try. I usually don’t do this, but my back is against the wall and I don’t know what else to do to solve this. Thank you for your time in reading this. Anything helps and I’d be very grateful for your help. – PayPal.me/Jenlove444

We need a fresh start and safety

Good day, generous people,

I really have no idea where to start…

My husband and I, with our 2yr old, live in a small Ontario, Canada, town in a small apartment – that’s not very safe to raise our child – I’ll circle back to that.

I’m requesting help raising $75,000 to help us pay off debts, fix our vehicles, and have a down payment to buy a home or first and last for a better rental to raise our child – safely.

Why not ask family? Unfortunately, my husband and I are all we have where we are. My family lives hours away and so do his siblings. My husband’s parents, unfortunately, passed away, fairly recently (2023 & 2025), leaving us with no local family. My mom helps when she can, but even she’s struggling.

I do work part time, and it does pay well hourly, I just don’t work enough hours to enable us to save. My husband is on disability and also doubles as a Stay-at-home-father, for the days I work and when our child doesn’t have daycare.

We took out a loan last year to help us recover our own expenses after we had to pay for my father-in-law’s remaining debts after he passed in February. We were fortunate to get his vehicle, in addition to ours, however, both need repairs – such as heating/cooling, exhaust, tires, brakes, routers, and others which individually don’t seem like a lot, but they are and it would be best to get fixed what we can at once instead of separating the expenses over a long period of time, which generally isn’t worth it because something else just goes wrong.

Going back to our current residence – it’s an older apartment building sitting on a giant ant hill in a shady part of town – which was fine when we were students and didn’t have a child. However, with constant squatters in the building foyer, ants, mold in the kitchen and bathroom, and the constant work being done (drilling, hammering, etc.), or home has become unsafe for our ever curious 2yr old child with sensory sensitivities (loud noises bother him greatly).

It would be great if we could move into a townhome in a family-friendly neighborhood or buy our own little house. Unfortunately, with the amount we pay out in debts plus our regular expenses, saving is extremely difficult and housing/rental costs are not getting any cheaper.

We would really love to have a fresh start to provide a better life for our child and ourselves, while still grieving the loss of our beloved parents, who did everything they could for everyone – and who were over-the-moon in love with their new grandchild.

Everyday it feels like new struggles arise and we’re doing everything we can to provide the best, happiest life for our child, we just wish it was safer and without the financial stressors.

Thank you for taking the time to read our “beg”. We appreciate anything and everything we receive.

Much love and respect.
-A.W.

Always wanted a car but life doesn’t want me to have one

Hi, maybe I’ll say a few words about myself first. I’m 20 years old, I live in Europe. I’m currently studying medical engineering and work part-time on medical transport. I also volunteer in an organisation which provides on-site medical aid during mostly religious events, but not only, we also secure many other public events.

Sadly I’ve been suffering from a few serious psychiatric disorders since I was around 14 or 15 years old, but no one paid enough attention to notice that I’m not just being a shy and bad kid. Even after I was diagnosed with panic anxiety disorder at 18 yo parents refused to believe that I can be sick (especially “in the head”).

At 19 years old I got into a relationship which was very great and made me happy… Only in the beginning. Soon my ex-girlfriend started exploiting my undiagnosed back then BPD, locking me in a vicious cycle of anxiety driven “love” towards her. She would often break down and accuse me of being in the wrong, even if she did something wrong, guilt-tripping me, she would say that she hates me and break up with me, only to say she didn’t mean it and loves me, after I had a mental breakdown – each and every time – it happened multiple times during the relationship. She used this mechanic to drain money from me – she made me so afraid that any “no” I would say to her would make her leave me, I would fullfil any of her expensive wishes right away.

This even landed me in the psych ward a year ago, where they started suspecting I might be suffering from a personality disorder. Even after being signed off, this continued for 4 months more. After I realised what a horrible trap I have fallen into, and with the help of my friends, I managed to break free. But in the meantime she managed to bankrupt me. If not for her, I’d already have the car of my dreams.

Around 7 months ago I met my current girlfriend who is very supportive, and I’m in therapy, have been properly diagnosed and being properly medicated. Sadly, around the same time I’ve suffered a back injury, which paralysed my legs in november/december last year, and even though I recovered from almost complete paralysis, I have been suffering pain and weakness from the waist down since. Worse, I’m currently in the diagnostic process for systemic autoimmune diseases that might also be attacking my nervous system.

And even now the cycle of misfortune doesn’t end. My parents have been in a conflict since I was a little child. I remember that long ago my father would even physically abuse my mother. As time passed those fights turned into mostly verbal stuff. But around a month ago, during another fight, my father destroyed my mothers tree in the backyard, and when I tried to fix it hoping it would recover, he came over and cut up all the branches. In revenge, my mom kicked his cat, and dad warned her that he would do the same to her. Even though there was no physical stuff between them, this stuff moved me so much, I stopped feeling safe in my own house. I told them I don’t want to stay there, and I’d like to move out and have their support atleast for my medication and some food, but they refused, calling me an ungrateful brat, bad kid, etc. etc. After I left the house taking my cat and my stuff, they even said they would place me back in the psych ward if I sued them for alimony.

So now I’m left struggling to make the ends meet, waiting for any progress in the alimony case, working as much as I can while also studying, but it’s not tragic yet, it’s hard, but I’m still managing somehow. And it might be weird that while I could be asking money for anything like food, housing, meds, etc., I’m asking for money to buy a car. But It’s because I’m managing – hardly, but I am – to cover my mandatory needs, and I always wanted a car. A used one, of course, manual, 6 gears in case I had to drive 100km again for an MRI because waiting times where I live are so long that they expect you to die before you get the MRI done. But 5 gears would be alright too – atleast I could easily drive to my little local community at the place which I grew up, which is why I also want a car so badly.

Ideally, my “dream” car would be around 6000 USD, but my “second dream” car would be around 3000 USD. But honestly? Any amount will help.

I know my story is quite pathetic, but it is what it is – I too would have done everything to avoid ending like this if I knew what was to come. So please, if 100 people would donate 60 USD – you’d make my wish come true – I know it’s easy asking for money, but they say that good deeds return to you. Maybe I will help you one day once I finish my studies?

Thank you for reading all that, and please – if you are willing to help, any amount is appreciated, and I will be very grateful for any generosity.

God bless you kind people.

Lost job need to pay my rent and bills.

Hello.

My name is Crystal Anthony, and I am writing to respectfully request financial assistance during a challenging transition period in my life. I recently lost my job last month, and as a result, I am currently struggling to meet my basic financial obligations, including rent and essential living expenses. This situation has created immediate financial strain, and I am seeking temporary support to help me remain stable while I work toward securing new employment.  The past few months have put a strain on my finances, and my credit has taken a hit and I have not been able to qualify for a loan.

Since losing my job, I have been actively and consistently searching for work. I have applied to numerous positions, updated my resume, and followed up on opportunities within my field. I have even looked into other fields and different states.  While the job market has proven to be slower than anticipated, I remain committed and proactive in my efforts. I am hopeful, as I may have a potential position beginning at the end of this month, which would allow me to regain financial independence and stability.

In the meantime, however, I am facing urgent financial needs that I cannot meet on my own. My primary concern is maintaining my housing, as falling behind on rent could lead to further hardship. Additionally, I have other essential bills that must be addressed to ensure I can maintain a basic standard of living during this period.

I am requesting financial assistance in the amount of $5,000 to help cover rent and critical expenses until I am able to resume steady income. This support would provide much-needed relief and allow me to focus fully on securing employment without the immediate pressure of financial instability. That said, I sincerely appreciate that any amount of assistance would make a meaningful difference in helping me navigate this difficult time.

I am committed to improving my situation and returning to self-sufficiency as quickly as possible. This request is made with humility and gratitude, and I truly appreciate your consideration and understanding during this period of need. Thank you for taking the time to review my request.
