Urgent Financial Aid to Secure Accommodation until LTB Hearing July 2024

I reached out to the insurance once again, desperately requesting accommodation by June 8, 2024, but to my dismay, they rejected my plea, leaving me in a dire situation.
I am in a critical situation, urgently seeking financial aid to secure accommodation until my hearing at Landlord Tenant and Board in July 2024. The insurance has left me without accommodation for the second time.
I could use one thousand five hundred to two thousand dollars to find temporary accommodation.
I am currently employed, but my income is low. I paid apartment insurance in case of flooding or loss of my accommodation, fire damage to my content would have replacement insurance did not honour their obligation,

On September 22, 2023, I was intentionally flooded out of the apartment I rented in Toronto, Ontario, to make me homeless. I have insurance, but they did not compensate me for accommodation. A lovely couple gave me a temporary place to stay for a while. That temporary place expires at the end of May 2024. I am trying to get back into the apartment, but the landlord, property manager, and lender are making it difficult for me to return. So, I am consulting with a lawyer to help me navigate the process back to the apartment, so I had to file T2 at the Landlord and Tenant Board, but the hearing is in July 2024.

Please help my parents finish their little house

We need help finishing my parents little home, this little home is near completion. We need about $8,000.00 to finish the build and buy furniture for them.

My sister’s son, my brother, my son and I have contributed towards building my parents this little home, with my sister’s son and my brother contributing the major part.

Both my son and I are currently unemployed. We have all ran out of money to finish this little house. We all have taken a setback because of COVID and are struggling to recover.

My parents who are respectively in their seventies and eighties are pensioners and do not have the means to contribute financially, they are barely surviving on their government pension and the monthly allowance that comes from my partner.

More so is that my parents are currently staying on a farm, where they both work the land growing vegetables for their own consumption. They are however being harassed on a daily basis by hooligans living within walking distance. This situation for them is very unsafe, my father had been hi-jacked and beaten severely on two occasions. In light of such we embarked on a project to bring them closer to the family and within a safe environment.

We are a hard working and honest family and this request for assistance does not come easily, it is made only because we want our parents to get away from where they are as a matter of urgency, we fear for their safety and lives.

Overwhelmed and don’t know where to turn to.

Hi everyone, I hope this message finds you in good health. My name is Wally, and I’m writing this with a heavy heart. I usually keep my house in order, but I’ve made some mistakes in the past and now I don’t like to ask for help. I’m not married and work two jobs to make ends meet: as an auto mechanic and as a front clerk bundler at a supermarket chain in eastern MA. I’ve been doing this for almost a year now, and it’s not easy. Two years ago I helped a friend retrieve a parcel from Asia, but the shipping company kept charging us for ridiculous reasons. I regret getting involved in this situation. So far, my only health concerns are high blood pressure and prediabetes. I got a loan to pay for a root canal in April (thank goodness it was salvageable), and I have mortgage payments, utilities, and HOA fees to pay, among other things. I started using my credit cards to keep up with the bills, but now I can’t keep up and am in collections. On top of that, I have a small claims court date coming up with a financial institution over a check I received and deposited. After withdrawing a portion of it, the security department contacted me to inform me that the check was bogus. I have a lawyer helping me in a separate financial matter. I’m trying to keep my head above water, but I’m losing hope.  I can’t get someone to co-sign for a loan, much less borrow in increments of $1,000.00 to save my life. I’m need at least $12,000.00. DISABLED VETERAN BANK ACCOUNT THIEVES TOOK EVERY PENNY

Thieves took every penny from our bank account, leaving us with $0.00 balance before was $25,843.00.

Yes, they sure did!  Even our Veterans Disability Check.   My husband is a veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom, he now has Stage 4 COPD, suffers from severe anxiety and PTSD.  I am a cancer survivor (non-hodgkins lymphoma) 14 years now.

We had every dime stolen from our bank account and due to the fact that we used a bank called Chime, we found out they are not FDIC insured and neither do they have protections in place for when you have been scammed.  We have filed every government and law enforcement report we could, and have been informed that due to the type of neo-bank there is little we can do to recover stolen funds.

We had finally after 3 years saved enough money to put a down payment on a home of our own since ours had burned to the ground 3 years ago.  We are not asking for a down payment, or anything like that.

We just need enough to get us thru until our next check arrives on the first of July, 2024.  Every bill we have could not get paid due to thieves wiping out our bank account.  They didn’t even leave us a penny, no money for food, electric, bills ANYTHING!

We are just asking for help to get us to the next month.  Any amount would be amazing and very appreciated, we need $5,612.38 for monthly expenses.  But, if not than anything will help.

Doctors recomended time off work

Hi good people, I recently got diagnosed with a rare penile cancer that according to the doctor only happens to 1 in a 100,000 men in the world.

The doctor wants to amputate the penis so as to stop the spread of the cancer into the main body, i’ve been told that if the surgery doesn’t happen in then I can expect to be looking for a hospice to move into for end of life care within 12 to 18 months time.

The problem is that after the complicated surgery takes place he says that I’ll need to be off work for six weeks for recovery and as I live alone and have no family I am the only person bringing in money to the flat where I live, so there is no way I could afford to take that amount of time off without going into debt, or possibly risk my job going if my employer thinks that I can’t be relied upon to work.

I’ve researched what government help there may be available and frankly it’s pityful to nonexistant, that’s what I get for being a single white male in these times i suppose.

Nowv  I prefer to work for what I get in life, but there’s times when you really need to put health first, but the financialy hardships that it would cause not working is a heavy pschological factor in all of this on top of the pschological factor of losing what I consider to be an important part of me to this disease.

So I’m not going to ask for a lot what’s needed is 1 and a half months wages to ensure continuity so £3,500 will be suffient to see over this difficult time.

I am a single mother with two kids

My beloved husband passed away because of a heart attack while we were in the most beautiful time of our lives. This unfortunate incident happened five months ago, and he was 36 years old. Emergency Funding for a children’s home

Over the last several years I have single handedly supported orphans in Nairobi, Kenya. With a single pay cheque income, I have been able to share the little that I have earned with the vulnerable children in Africa. The heavy rains and floods that have hit Nairobi unfortunately have left our children homeless. This has made it difficult for me to keep up. This is why I’m here hoping for good Samaritans to help support the cause and partner with me. Your generosity will go a long way.

My passion for helping and supporting the vulnerable children stems from my own experience of losing my parents at a young age. Hopeless, confused and unsure where the next meal will come from, I relied on the kindness of good Samaritans who took me in and helped me get on my feet. I have empathy towards the orphans because children are innocent and shouldn’t have to go through the pain of losing their parents. However, these circumstances are inevitable. I have since found purpose in helping and coming alongside these children who need a safe place to call their own home.

When I saw the sorrow and hopelessness on the faces of children who at times have to go to bed hungry, go to school barefoot and oftentimes be separated from their siblings, I made a commitment that when I was able to help financially, I would start a home where children who have lost their loved ones can call home. I did not want to call it an orphanage as I did not want the children to always be reminded of their state. I wanted them to feel loved and take pride in having a safe place to call their home. A home where they can celebrate birthdays, share joyful successful moments like learning how to read, share laughter, enjoy a meal together and grow together.

In 2018, I traveled to Kenya ,Africa for my Grandfather’s funeral. After the funeral, I had the privilege of visiting a home in the rural community of Nairobi, Kenya. There I met children who were struggling with a shortage of food, clothing and no place to stay. When I saw their beautiful gentle faces, My heart was deeply touched and I knew I had to do something right away.I took it upon myself to start sponsoring them by providing them with food, clothing and shelter.

Over the last year, the number of children has increased from seven to fifteen in our care. This has led to having more than six children in each room because the home is becoming overcrowded. Having done this single handedly, I feel compelled to reach out for support. I am seeking help towards expanding and renovating the house that was recently flooded due to heavy rains that Kenya has experienced over the last couple of months. My goal is to raise $75000 to help with renovating and expanding the home, buy school supplies, provide food, school fees and clothing. Your help and support will go a long way.

Help save my teeth
