I am writing to you today with a humble request for financial assistance. As someone who has always strived to be self-sufficient and responsible, it is with great difficulty that I reach out for help. However, I find myself in a situation where I need support to overcome my current financial challenges and to pursue a dream that I am deeply passionate about.

Over the past few years, I have accumulated a significant amount of debt due to unforeseen circumstances, including medical expenses and job loss. Despite my best efforts to manage these debts, the burden has become overwhelming. I am committed to repaying every penny I owe, but I need a helping hand to get back on my feet.

In addition to addressing my debt, I have a strong desire to start my own business. I have always been passionate about [welding and building grills and engines. welding different kinds of grills and the parts to get engines built for those I care for and communities, and I believe that this venture has the potential to not only provide for my family but also contribute positively to our community. I have conducted thorough research and developed a detailed business plan, which I am happy to share with you.

The total amount I am seeking is $15,000 to $35,000. This sum will allow me to pay off my existing debts and provide the necessary capital to launch my business. URGENT EMERGENCY FUND

Hello, I’m a 41 single woman and I have fallen on hard time. I know it’s hard out here for a lot of people, so I don’t want to seem like I’m someone special. But I have lost my job that I love doing due to the company closing down. My job was helping teenagers and pregnant woman and drug and alcoholics off the street. I would help them find housing and help the to find resources to help get them sober. I been doing this over 20 years and I’m going to continue to do so. I never been the type to ask anyone for help because I always been the one helping others and I never thought I would be in this situation of losing everything I worked for just because I been out of work for two months. As soon as I lost my job I filled for unemployment, but I was denied. I even tried to get a loan and same results. I was living paycheck to paycheck, so I was barely making it. So, the months I been out of work i got behind on my car payments. Now I have until today to come up with money or it will be up for repo. I’m scared because that all I have to continue to do what I love to do. I been looking for work from jobs because I cannot drive because I can’t even pay for my insurance or gas. Thankfully I was able to pay my rent last month but now i also need help with rent for the month of July. I just don’t want to lose the little I do have, and I have no one to turn to. It took me four days to write this letter because I was ashamed and embarrassed because I am asking strangers for money. But I prayed and it and asked God for his guidance did not know there were resources like this. So, with a humble heart I’m asking for help because I really need the amount, I am asking for is 4’000 so I can pay my rent and the payments that I’m behind for my car. I know my story is not sad like as other people, but I feel like I’m a good person and my blessing might come from someone I don’t even know. Help Me Avoid Foreclosure & Homelessness Please – TIME SENSITIVE

Hi, my name is Catherine, I live in Virginia. I am writing to ask you generous hearts for some time-sensitive financial support please. I have been on the giving side of generosity myself in the past, and never thought I would find myself on this side of the donations. 

The mortgage servicer is being very aggressive in threatening to initiate foreclosure. I called to make a payment and they refused, because it was only for one month! They’ve sent a Demand Letter, they want at least two months ASAP. On July 1st, I will be short a total of 4 months of payments. The mortgage servicer could put my home up for auction because of less than $8000.

Please help keep me in my home. My home is also my place of work. I am a health coach who offers various wellness and nutrition programs from, or at, my home office. It is my only source of income. 

 

Background that led me here: 

A series of traumatic life events left me in shock, alone, and with a diagnosis of PTSD and emotional trauma starting in 2016. In 2018 things got much harder, when my husband of more than 12 years, had to surrender to a federal correctional facility. I went into depression on top of PTSD, and had to deal with many unknowns of being separated, having to clean up the legal and financial mess that my husband had left me with. You can imagine how this negatively affected my self esteem, social standing, finances & credit score, while I was struggling to regain my health and keep my head above water.

So I found myself on my own, with no spouse, no support. Thankfully I managed to save my house from foreclosure once by re-financing. As part of the PTSD issue, I developed visual processing issues, as well as a hand tremor, and I have severe allergies to chemicals, so unfortunately, I cannot work in my original profession (dental field). 

In 2020, I was on my way out of the slump, when COVID hit and I lost many of my potential clients, and existing clients. With lockdowns, all the momentum I had built for my business came to a stop. I have been trying to rebuild from scratch since everything opened up. Unfortunately being a solo business person who does everything without the necessary funds or a team to do any marketing, means a slow growth. I am gaining momentum, but it’ll take a few months of effort to get to a regular flow of incoming clients (and if I don’t have a home, my work gets affected too).

 

Currently, refinancing the house loan, selling, or renting are not options. This is why: 

Refinancing is not an option because of the hit on my credit score following the problems mentioned in above paragraphs.  I don’t have the credit score or financial ability to ask for another refinance, especially since the interest rates are higher now than on my already re-financed loan. The mortgage servicer is very aggressive in initiating foreclosure because the loan was already re-financed in 2018.

I have considered selling the house, but realtors want to do repairs which I cannot afford. Plus, these days, renting a place half the size, plus paying rent for an office space and storage, would cost more than triple my mortgage payments. That is if I even find a place to rent, as rentals are very rare and expensive in my area, and they all ask for high credit scores and proof of high employment salary. 

For my coaching work, I need to stay close to my area since this is where people know me and refer me clients. My car is too old to drive out long distances every day, and due to my visual issues, I cannot drive very far. I am continuing to reach out through educational talks and special offers of health coaching programs to build more income. 

I am looking for regular hourly jobs too. Most say I am considered “over-qualified” for regular entry level jobs, I am disabled from my actual profession because of the PTSD and visual and hand issues, (but I have no disability benefits because I am self-employed).

So, At this point, I am hopeful and grateful to receive enough financial donation to avoid foreclosure, bring the house payments up to date, so that I can continue to work from home and generate income through my wellness services and get back on my feet.

A Couple’s Plea: A Dream of an Oasis and safety

As I sit here with my 5-year-old child peacefully beside me, my heart swells with gratitude for the blessings in my life.
My wife and I are living a life guided by our faith, seeking to serve others without expecting anything in return. We also do our best to protect our child…

But, as much as  we’ve been blessed, we’re facing a harsh reality: we can’t afford rent or to buy a house.

You see, we’ve chosen not to charge money for the services we provide, because we believe that true help shouldn’t come with a price  tag. We want to create a safe space where people can find solace and support without feeling burdened by financial stress. But, as  much as our hearts are full of love and compassion, our bank account is not allowing us to provide what feels right for us and others.

That’s why I’m turning to you, dear friends and strangers, for help. We’re not asking for much; just enough to afford a small piece  of land where we can build an oasis – a haven of peace and tranquility where people can come to rejuvenate their minds, bodies, and
souls. A place where our child, where children can laugh and play freely, without the weight of the world’s troubles.

You might wonder why we’re willing to make such sacrifices. The truth is, my wife and I want to protect our child from the harsh  realities of this world often not aligned with our faith. We want him to grow up in a space that is pure, innocent, and filled with love. And so, we’re willing to  take risks, to face challenges head-on, all for the sake of creating a better future for our little one.

I know what you might be thinking: “Why should I care? Why should I give?” But let me tell you, every single person who has been  touched by our work, every tear that’s been dried, every smile that’s been shared – it’s all worth it. And if we can create just one  more oasis of peace, where people can find solace and comfort, then it’ll be a small price to pay for the chance to make a  difference.

FENTANYL KILLED MY PARTNER… now my sons and I are losing our car…

Good Afternoon,

I’m a single mother of two boys 11 and 2. Their father tragically died from Fentanyl contact 6 months ago. I’m also a small business owner with a start-up aquaponic micro-farm located in the Napa Valley and trying to afford everything on my own has become extremely difficult…As a result, the only vehicle we have has been repossessed. I would like to smile in public again

Even though the pandemic is over, I am still wearing a mask due to my dental issues. I am of an age when acne was treated with antibiotics, topically and in pill form. Unfortunately, the prolonged use of the prescription did extensive damage to my teeth. Over the years, the space taken up by fillings became greater than my actual teeth. I had my top 8 front teeth capped but my energetic grandson inadvertently kicked me in the mouth removing those, and the vast majority of my remaining teeth have broken off at the gum line. I did have some of my upper teeth removed; however, my dentist couldn’t remove all of them as epinephrine is now mixed with novocaine to extend its efficacy and my heart condition limits the amount I can receive, and the three injections given to me weren’t sufficient to totally numb my gums and palate. So, now, in order to have the remainder of my teeth removed I will have to go under general anesthesia. And, once the teeth are removed, I will need to purchase dentures. The total amount, for the dentist, general anesthesia and dentures is approximately $15,000. My insurance will pay $3,500 but the rest will have to be out of pocket. As I said above, I would really like to be able to smile in public again – as well as at work where I am in a customer service position. Any assistance given would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Life has been turned upside down

My mother passed away 64yrs of age from cancer last year, really bad ending due to hospital negligence, needed around the clock care, lost my job, 6months later divorce from a 27yr marriage.  Daughter graduated and started college.  Couldn’t afford to keep the house, sold quickly to a wanna sell fast company that ended up getting screwed over, the little cash made went to paying down credit card debt racked up during this all.  Living back home with elderly Dad and his 2 dogs, with 2 kids 19 & 16, 2 dogs and a cat, sharing a bedroom with my daughter.  While trying to sell the house and needed money to pay bills, had to sell most everything and my car.  So, needing cash for a cheap car to get a job and get back on my feet to get our own place.  If anyone out there would kindly like to donate, looking for $2000 so I can get a cheap car off Facebook marketplace and get my life back on track.

48 year old single mom with a terminal illness.

I am a 48 year old single mother diagnosed with a terminal illness. I am also a former educator and military spouse of 17 years. I taught English and science at the geade school level as well as elementary education. I spent most of my life volunteering with community centers, churches, organizations like the red cross. I have also been a foster parent. I had a hard childhood, but I didn’t realize the stress I was putting on myself. My children and I are now homeless, I am unemployed and in debt. I also have a ton of medical bills and student loan debt.

my name is Shantel. I am a second generation Jamaican American. I have been collecting toiletries and depends for the elderly in Jamaica since 2021. I have successfully sent two barrels a year. This year I have been struggling significantly because the prices for everything has gone up and I also have more responsibility. I have a two year old daughter and recently purchased a new home. I took interest in donating to the elderly back in 2016. I use to be a hospice aide who delivered toiletries to my patients on a weekly basis. EMT in need of help.

I recently had to stop working due to a medical condition called Narcolepsy. I’m 35 and have worked since I was 16 years old (lifeguard).  My health declined and I had to choice but to stop working as an EMT. Driving became very stressful and dangerous due to the medications not working anymore. I have now seen a new sleep doctor and prescribed new medication but will need a sleep study because my last one was in 2010. I have applied for dozens of part time jobs in the time being until I can get my medications right and get back to working in the field I love so much. I’m requesting 2500 for the sleep study (I no longer have insurance) and medications and also basic household needs that I have neglected the past month. Anything will be greatly appreciated.

A Beautiful Life Ended in Tragedy

In this moment of overwhelming grief, I find it almost unbearable to write these words. The heartbreak within me is profound, echoing through my very core as I grapple with the reality that nothing will ever be the same. The person I loved unconditionally, the one who has been closest to me my entire life, is gone. My little brother, was someone who was always thinking of everyone else, he always put others first and no matter what he always had a smile on his face, nothing seemed to dull his spirit. His laughter, energy, and enthusiasm brought immense warmth to our lives. He was a devoted father to his two young boys, a loving partner to their mother, and a cherished friend to anyone who knew him. And we can’t forget the loving son he was and the kind of sibling everyone wishes they could have.

The cause of death is still undetermined, there is suspicion that foul play may be involved and it is an ongoing investigation. It came without warning, leaving us shattered. The agonizing thought that if someone would have been with him or if help had arrived sooner, he might still be with us today. This tragic incident happened in a public place, highlighting the urgent need for better safety measures. As we navigate this devastating loss, we are committed to advocating for improvements that could prevent similar tragedies in the future.

My brother deserved a long and fulfilling life. His untimely death could have been prevented in so many ways, and I am left wondering if I could have done more. I blame myself for not being there for him that night. Why wasn’t I with him when he needed me the most? I wish he would have called.

Now, I am faced with the task of giving him the farewell he deserves. It is a heartbreaking time, and we don’t have the resources to give him the proper tribute. I would never forgive myself if I can’t figure out a way to make this happen. I want to honor him properly, to show how much he meant to us.

If anyone can help me and our family, it would mean everything. People shouldn’t have to deal with stress or financial worries in a time of loss. Everyone deserves a peaceful time to grieve. I can’t let this final part of his life go unrecognized. It needs to be significant, so he knows how much we loved him.

Diagnosed and Let Go due to Diagnosis

Hello, I was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis while being at the doctor for a spinal injury at work and am asking for $5000 or whatever you can help with for medical bills. I injured my spine while at work and my place of employment let me go three days after my injury because they said my work performance was not up to par. I can’t work at the moment due to doctor’s restrictions, and I no longer have insurance to cover anything.

A young man in need of help from other humans for a better, new and healthier life in London, England.

Unfortunately, due to battling chronic BPD, and feeling afraid of my diagnosis and daily symptoms, I recently became homeless after succumbing to losing my flat of 12 years. I was a looked after child under the care of Brent Social Services from the age of 3 years old, because of a stabbing inflicted by my estranged father on my mother on my 3rd birthday. He stabbed her 18 times, and went to prison. My mother, vanished, more or less after being released from hospital and I went into care, although strangely I still had contact with my father, as he threatened to kill my mother if she tried to keep me in her care. He was violent in ways with me, especially if I misbehaved at school and all of this trauma for 30 years lead me to where I am now, with chronic BPD, anxious, homeless and currently living in a shelter which is surrounded by people who suffer from drug and alcohol addiction.

 

I just wish for a better life and some help from humanity, as well as somewhere to call my own, in addition to getting help for my condition. Right now, I feel totally hopeless and shameful too admittedly for using this website as my last resort.

Honestly speaking and painfully speaking, I haven’t had much in life in the way of people; hardly any family, carers who came and went, which is part of their job, I suppose, and 1 cat I love to death. I know there are people who are blessed to be in positions that can help people like me. I also give to those less fortunate than me whenever I have the means. I just pray someone can do the same for me. I would appreciate it very much. I wouldn’t even ask for any particular amounts, as I hate coming across as ungrateful. Sorry for the long explanation of my circumstances and thank you for all you decide todo to help me make a life for myself and start over.

Financial Aid for mortgage

We had it all going living a modest life with our kids until April 2022, when I experienced the most dramatic and terrifying situation of my life the loss of my unborn child. Carrying her for 9 months and not having the privilege of holding her was unbearable. I stayed home for four months with the hopes to heal, and resume work strong and ready to deliver at work and home as usual. I was wrong, I held up at work but at home I was depressed, full of anxiety and soon ran into chronic insomnia, nerves and hormonal imbalance. The doctors said I had mental health issues, but my surrounding said I am ungrateful and just exaggerating. In my culture, stilled birth is considered evil, and the parents most not mourn for the child. Easy said than done, what about the monthly antenatal, the preparations and expectations all of that gone as a dream.

My loan installment must be settled accordingly if not our house will be at risk of being taken over by the bank. It is for this reason that I sincerely tender this request for financial help from good will people. From this part of the world immediate family is not the only family you worry about, as I have to cater for my mother, grandmother and siblings as well who are still in school. Having all of these to worry about is not really enhancing the healing process for me. My aim is to clear my loan to secure our house and to eventually set up a small business to permit me gain back my financial independence.
