Life took an unexpected turn when “I lost my job due to company downsizing, despite my best efforts to make ends meet, the rising cost of living has made it increasingly difficult to provide even the basics for my family.

Our current circumstances are dire. Rent is overdue, and I’m struggling to keep up with utility bills. Experiencing financial hardship after Difficulties balancing and Navigating New Single Parenthood.

I’ve been the bread winner of my family with a good career in the Medical field. I worked long hours 4-5 times a week to make ends meet. My spouse refused to work so I carried all the load. Paid every single bill for 10 years. With the recent economy over the last few years, just a week away from work would get me behind in bills. What my partner did do was lighten my load of the day to day care of our 5 year old. Our marriage struggled significantly because of my spouse’s narcissistic tendencies and his refusal to protect and provide. In December I asked my spouse to leave after a heated fight and argument in front of our 5 year old. We no longer respected each other, it was obvious and the home felt too toxic for our 5 year old. Well he left alright. My spouse left the state and has not looked back. After 10 years of marriage and sharing a beautiful 5 year old I don’t know where he’s at. I thought we would be able to co parent but no. Now I’m trying to figure all this out and my ability to work consistently to make ends meet is no longer an option. Please Help Stop My Foreclosure

I have never asked for help like this, but I have nowhere else to turn at this point. I have been a single dad for 16 years and it has not been the easiest journey. I was doing fine for a long time…until about March of 2022, when I lost my job. The company I was working for had massive layoffs and I was part of those that were let go.

I wasn’t able to find work until February of 2023. During my time of unemployment, I was able to survive off of my savings and driving for Uber and Lyft.

Between February 2023 and August 2024, I had two different jobs, but neither paid enough to even live check to check, so I began falling behind on my bills and my mortgage. I continued to try my hardest to provide for my son and shield him from the fact that I couldn’t make ends meet.

Also between that time, I had two family members who passed away and had to use funds for me and my son to travel to their funerals. It has been a very difficult road, lately.

Between the unexpected death and emergency travel, I was unable to hold onto my job, unfortunately. This caused me to fall further behind on my mortgage and bills.

I started my current job in August, hoping to get back on my feet quickly. It is a commission based job, but it took quite some time to build my book of business to a point that would help me catch up and get back on track with my bills.

At this point, I attempted to make a mortgage payment, only to find out that my home is in foreclosure. I received no communication regarding the situation and now, I don’t know what to do.

I attempted to pay $2000 dollars, but I was told that it would not help. There has not been a sale date as of yet, but the company representative suggested that I come up with $11000 as soon as possible, to stop the foreclosure. I certainly don’t have that kind of money and I’m praying they don’t put me and my son out on the street.

Homeless with our 2 Daughters ages 5 and 6

My Husband age 57 worked his whole life since he was 12 to be exact. We have 2 beautiful daughters ages 5 and 6. My Husband and I have been married 10 years now. Robby my Husband has been the sole provider for our little family he got up day after day year after year for 8 of the 10 years we have been married and he did so without complaint because working is all he knows. Robby my Husband is very much a country boy and was raised up in  the Country fashion what I mean is he was raised with the belief that it is the job and responsibility of the man of the house to provide for his family and the wife to stay at home and raise the kid’s take care of the house. I of course was all in because I was also raised with the same beliefs. 2 years ago Robby got really sick and had to go to the hospital from there he was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, Graves disease and diabetes forcing him to go on the disabled list. This was deviating to our family financially. We have lost everything and we now squat on property that isn’t ours in our camper trailer with our 2 daughters and we are being harassed daily. We have no credit, no family or friends to get help from. Not a dime left in savings. The disability check we receive once a month barely pays for the gas we buy daily for the generator to keep our girls out of the dark and worm. We need help we desperately need a place to call home. Hi, this is not something I would ever usually do but I am desperate. I am 23 and work in construction. A couple years ago I took a £30,000 business loan out to try and start up myself as I have always been told I am very good at my job but things took a turn very quickly, I left my job to do some work for myself subcontracting for another company, they promised me guaranteed independent work and explained they had an expansion plan that I would’ve been part of, all was going well until one day I got a phone call saying I was no longer needed as the expansion plan failed and so I was forced to go back working for someone else, I earn £2,500 a month and my bills are pretty much that, I have a son who I pay maintenance for and have just found out that my partner is Pregnant and the pressure is mounting on me that I may not be able to afford to provide for this baby. Single Mom needs help for son´s expenses

Help me prevent homelessness

The saying of when it rains it pours is very prevalent in my life right now. My 2008 van broke down, I had to have another back surgery, and now I’m facing eviction and homelessness. Hello, I am a 57 year old mother with teenage twins and recently obtained custody of two grandchildren whose father was murdered. I receive social security disability due to psoriasic arthritis and back issues and I work part-time. I recently had to have another back surgery and fell behind on my rent. I applied for state assistance and was approved until the ran out of funding. I applied for local assistance through varies Organizations but everyone keeps saying the same thing, we don’t have any funds. This is very difficult for me to ask for help because I am usually the one helping others, maybe not financially because I don’t have much but with whatever else I can do to help I try my best to do. I am desperate. I can have these kids on the street. We need $24,000 to payback rent, this months rent and fees. Between my social security disability check, part-time job, my sons part-time job and the grandchildren social security checks we can survive. We just need some help catching up. alors impossible pour moi dans acheter et sa fait plus 1 ans et demi que je vie l’enfer j’ai énormément de problèmes de santé sévères que j’ai appris depuis j’ai fait un avc il ont fait beaucoup de tests pis il ont découvert énormément de problèmes de santé sévères j ‘ai aussi le cancer des cordes vocales j’ai été opérer et traiter pour sa j’ai cancer des oss du thorax je suis suivi de proche pour sa je suis vraiment très malade il ont découvert que je fait de l’anémie et diabète sévères et problèmes de cholestérol de rênes et du foie gras mpco emphysème et je suis maintenant paralysé au complet du côté gauche suite à l’avc que j’ai fait et je dois prendre chaque jours 38 médicaments pour le diabète pour la douleur ect…et aussi je fait de la fibromyalgie depuis plusieurs années j’ai aussi 3 hernie discale que j’ai depuis des années je me suis fait sa quand je travaillelais à l’hôpital comme infirmière auxiliaires c’est depuis 2016 la journée que ma petite maman d’amour c’est suicidée que j’ai fait une énorme dépression et depuis je n’est plus travailler dans les domaines de la santé et j’ai commencé à travailler a mon compte pour les tatouages ​​et les percings mes depuis mon avc je ne peux plus du tout travailler et j’ai plus de famille pour m’aider car ils et elles sont décédées jai oublier de dire ma maman ma eu a 14 ans elle c’est fait violée par mon grand-père pédophiles alors je viens d’un viole le pourquoi que je vous est dit plus haut que ma petite maman d’amour était aussi mon père à la fois sur sa j’ai des rendez-vous médical important il na beaucoup Help me, please.

I am a struggling immigrant on the verge of losing my home. I’m on sick leave in a foreign country with no access to any help or allowances. Because of my mental illnesses, some days are incredibly hard and I feel like giving up – I haven’t done it because of my dogs, they are my family and mean everything to me. I don’t have friends here, nor family.

Being Latina in Europe is incredibly hard. For instance, it took me over 3 years to be able to switch antidepressants, even with health insurance being mandatory. I’ve been denied government help – I felt prejudice for not being local. In addition, one of the prescriptions I take costs 120eur/month. I took a loan last year because one of my dogs needed surgery and that’s eating a huge chunk of my income as well.

I looked for many ways to ask for help, from philantropists to volunteering, and I found this platform. Paying off my loan and building a bit of a safety blanket for me and my senior dogs would be ideal. I currently own 12×250 eur = about 3 thousand euros. A month’s rent is about 1000.

Growing up, I  saw struggles of families who could not afford medications and also some who could afford would find when the medicines in the pharmacies in our area expired. One moment that stays with me is about my now late grandmother.

Grandmother was a kind woman our neighborhood home. She suffered from high blood pressure, but the nearest pharmacy was miles away and she often skipped medication because she could not afford it. On day she was found down infront of her house struggling to breathe. Her condition worsened because she could not get the care she needs.

I realized how important it was to have a pharmacy nearby since all this happened because she was skipping her medication. A pharmacy that not only provides medication but is also offers understanding and compassionate. Since my grandmother didn’t make it, but other people can be saved. And people should no-longer suffer because of lack of healthcare.
