My name is Yvette, and I’m a mother of three beautiful children who mean the world to me. For years, I’ve worked tirelessly to provide a stable and loving home for them, sometimes juggling three jobs just to make sure they never went to bed hungry and always had a roof over their heads.
But life took an unexpected turn. Earlier this year, I became seriously ill and was unable to work for several months. As I fought to recover, the bills piled up, and I fell behind on my mortgage. Despite my best efforts and every prayer I could pray, I now face something I never thought would happen, our home is going into foreclosure on December 10th, 2025.
I’ve recently started working again and am slowly rebuilding my strength, but my income right now just isn’t enough to cover the past-due amount of $85,000 that’s needed to bring my mortgage current and stop the foreclosure.
This home is all we have. It’s where my children took their first steps, where we’ve shared family dinners, birthdays, and countless memories. Losing it would mean losing the heart of our family and having nowhere else to go.
