Disabled and afraid

Greetings! I am a 47 year old disabled mother in dire need of financial assistance. i was diag with NSLC Lung cancer in 2016. I hadn’t even made 40 yet and was given 6 months to live. Unfortunately the treatment that saved my life also crippled me.Though I had just graduated cosmetology school I was unable to work due to the side effects of treatment. After 3 years of fighting for SSDI I finally won. I was able to maintain a home(I’ve been here 10 years) until my last child graduated in May. I’ve fallen behind in everything and have not been able to pay my rent , cell phone bill or gas. I’ve searched for someplace cheaper than my current home and have found that it’s actually cheaper to stay where I am. I just need a little help to get me back on track. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story.

Genuine Heart

My name is Mark D Alters. I am a builder with two children.  My daughter is now twenty and in college my son is sixteen. I’ve never asked for funds like this before and I am placing one request which covers two seriously important parts so we may live a thriving life.  I got really depressed over a big break up and I have somewhat fallen out of life. My kids seriously depend on me for their happiness and I’m at a point where I can barely function due to the weight of everyday demanding life.  I can’t provide for my kids like I need or want too right now and it hurts me in extreme ways everyday the weight is so heavy I’m virtually helpless.  It’s the worst feeling a father could ever imagine. I love my kids with all my heart and soul and every other way possible.  I want to give them the very best I possibly can and will somehow.  I’m crying my eyes out right now as I write this request. I have partially shutdown due to no funds and the overwhelming inflation and this has all got me to the point I can barely work because it seems pointless because even when doing my little rural handyman stuff there is just no possible way I can get the funds needed thru my regular earnings.  I have lived my life helping every person I possibly can. I love people I love helping people and I love seeing the look on their faces when helping them when least expected. I would give anything to experience those precious moments again. I am 45 and have worked my entire life and really got nothing to show for it. However I did manage to get myself a nice vehicle and me and my son are building an engine to put in my old truck I gave him. He is very excited about that. I am so thankful for everything and every experience it is just very challenging times for me now.  I would do anything to be able to have a decent home which I will build, I have built several homes on my own. That will save a ton of money and to keep us busy and to keep an income coming in  I plan to build an atv/dirt bike track/course in which we we also have a storefront with atv’s and dirt bikes. This is mine and my sons dream and I am forever grateful to anyone that can help us get there. It’s gone cost me about $80,000 for materials for our family home and $253,000 for atv track, land shop and inventory. With a grand total of $333,000.  This help will make so many dreams come true. We will be helping kids with low income to ride track free and let them use equipment also if needed. We live in north central Arkansas. Me, my son and  daughter are so very thankful to all just for reading and considering this request. God bless, much thanks and please help us live our dream, we will be sure to help others live theirs when we are able. Love & light!

p.s. my son is really at a critical age and riding is his passions. I don’t wanna lose him, my daughter is gonna be a nurse. I think my depression over money is spilling over onto my son. I can’t let that happen. Please I am outta options it seems. Thank you so much again.

Help Kids See with Colorblind Glasses

What started as a one or two gift of Enchroma Glasses is quickly growing into a multi-school endeavor.

Many kids are colorblind and will benefit greatly from a gift to see color for the first time.

It started during Covid. I thought, “What can “I” do to help others anonymously?” After reaching out to friends in education, two teachers initially identified two students who were colorblind. The teachers then gained the parents’ permission to accept an anonymous gift of Enchroma Glasses. The students are then tested (online) to determine which glasses would be most beneficial.

It was a huge success and some even videoed and turned it into a celebration.

The videos quickly spread and before I knew it, many teachers across the county and beyond reached out with nominees. Funds were limited so we started with a drawing. As the need grew, we knew reaching out for financial assistance was our only option. Plus, we want to remain anonymous gifters with hopes the kids will recognize the importance of giving.

The glasses can cost anywhere between $250-$800, depending on the type of colorblindness. We currently have over 50 requests which puts our needs in the $30,000+ range.

One child’s parents surprised him at a very well known year-round Christmas venue and the results were magical.

The teachers have reported on how much more confident the kids are and doing much better in school.

This gift has wide ranging benefits and we thank you for your generosity.

Struggling Mom/Guardian Mom- Needing Help!

Hello to anyone seeing this:

My name is Jillian and I’m currently a single mom to a 13-year-old boy and a guardian mom of a 14-year-old girl. I have been a single mom since my son was 2 years old. And about 2 years ago I received a call from CPS stating a friend of mines child was being removed from her mother and was given my name as a possible safe place for a 12-year-old girl.  That evening my life change completely! I took in my friend’s child as my own in hopes of one day being able to reunite her with her own mother again.

Unfortunately, after almost 2 years she still remains in my custody and financially has taken its toll on me.

I’m not one to ask for help because I was raised to work hard for what you have but with the addition to my family has caused me to finally break down and ask for help. I asked my family for help but they were unable to provide any assistance. After gaining guardianship of a minor child, I had to purchase a new home in order to meet the standard of the guardianship as my previous home was only 2 bedroom and CPS did not allow a boy and girl to share a room.

So, I searched for a house in my area and found a small home that is 3 bedrooms to fit my family. However, purchasing a home drained my savings account with down payment, closing cost, inspections and additional fees. And with the added child and the cost of everything over the last 2 years has put me in a financial situation I have never been in before.

I’m truly struggling to provide for me and my two kids. I’m in debt and feel like I’m sinking and sinking fast.

I’m kindly asking for financial assistance to help me and my family from sinking.

Needing help with:

*Credit Card Debt – $22,124
*Mortgage Debt – $128,691
*Personal Loan – $3,304
*Car Lease (will need to buy out come sept 2024) – $19,072
Total debt: $173,191

It breaks my heart having to ask for assistance because I wish I could be able to provide others with assistance. I would be truly thankful for anyone who is able to help with any amount of money to try to see the light at the end of the tunnel and not feel like I’m sinking. And who knows maybe one day I will be able to pay it forward to someone else. Never know how the world works sometimes.

You are able to send any funds to:

Venmo: @jillian-jack

Thank you and hope you have a great day!

Struggling with new life

Hi. I am reaching out today with a humble request for your support in a challenging chapter of my live. Recently, I was forced to leave my home country. As single mother with two children by my side, we are trying to start a new life in a new country, but the journey has been far from easy.

While my current income is enough to cover our daily living expenses, I am struggling under the weight of credit card debt accumulated. This debt is a heavy burden, and I find myself unable to manage it while trying to provide a stable and nurturing environment for my children.

We started from 0, getting everything from shoes to furniture, and the financial strain has been overwhelming. The cost of establishing a new life is significant, and despite my best efforts.

For me now $5000 is just something unreal. This is why I am turning to you for help.

Thanks in advance

Faith takes over when hope fades, praying for help to pay off/reduce mortgage debt.

God has been really good to us with so many things including a beautiful baby (girl) which we had been praying for for many years. My wife and I have always worked hard and take great pride in being responsible, dependable, kind and respectful. After many years of saving up we could finally invest in a townhouse to build a family. My wife recently lost literally all her immediate family members due to age, illness and/or violence so since then we have worked our behinds off to make our home a place of joy and comfort. Unfortunately my body is showing the wear and tear of my many years in the work force and I am not as capable as I once was to put in the overtime hours or work multiple jobs. Some injuries could very well be career ending if I’m not very careful and I would like to remain healthy enough to live and raise our little girl. Our faith in God has always helped and protected us in the past; sadly we now find ourselves being completely overrun by steep increases in general living expenses including insurances, property taxes, strata fees, food, utilities and the list goes on. The stress has been overwhelming and it has created a cloud of anxiety and depression over our home. I’m reaching out to ask for assistance in paying off or reducing our mortgage debt. I wasn’t sure if it was appropriate as a person of faith to ask for financial help but today at church my uncertainty was put to rest. It was as though the sermon was directed at me personally. It said “I have not failed you before and I will not fail you now; place your fears and needs in me and cast your net. I will fill it with unimaginable abundance. Have faith in me and you will see my glory” (paraphrased). Well I have faith in God and I have faith in the kindness of good people. If you are in a position to help a little or a lot; I would be forever grateful and if you are not able to help I would be grateful for your prayers.

May god bless you and your loved ones and thank you for your consideration.

Need money for a dog rescue group

My name is Maudy and I am currently living in Chilpancingo, a city 45 minutes away from Acapulco, México. I move here back in 2008 and funded a dog rescue group called Protege tu Mundo A. C. To help with all the expenses opened a store and for many years everything was on track. The covid pandemic happened and since then we do not get as many visits as we used to and sales dropped completely.

I tried many things to keep promoting our dogs in need, which are more than 50, and also help some stray animals that needed medical attention. The cost of running this rescue group is about $2,500 dollars a month to pay rent, food, medical services, cleaning personnel, and utility bills. I have no other option at this moment but to ask for your help. This is for real and if you contribute we can video call so you can verify our story.

Anything you can contribute will be great. God bless you!

Got Scammed Big Time. I’m an Idiot.

I’m going to be 65 this year. I work for a company that has no health coverage, life insurance, retirement plan. I’ve been trying to invest on my own through the years, subscribing to various services, taking classes in person and virtually, all sorts of things to make enough income to leave this job. Now this job is relocating out of state and I will be looking at an ageism situation with regards to employment. I’ve been grateful for employment in general through the years and have been able to raise my 4 kids on my own. I work a 2nd job as a music teacher several nites a week that helps me to break even every month with rising cost of living. I do enjoy doing something meaningful, but it’s not that much $ and the 2 job sitch is exhausting. But THAT is not why I’m here. I wanted to give that as background. Like many my age, I get unsolicited invitations for this and that. I’ve gotten pretty good at weeding them out through the years and have not been victimized. Until now. Several months ago, I got involved with an online investing community, that through the weeks eased me into a place of trust–and hope. I thought it was a godsend if truth be told. It was for an ICO opportunity (Initial Coin Offering). Like an IPO for stocks, for new cryptocurrencies. It was allegedly a group “institutional” move. I started out for about a month of so just watching others on the sidelines because I was skeptical. I chatted with others (turns out they were about my age) in a chat and they reported they were having success. I eventually took the dive into the deep end. Initially investing smaller amounts. I had some rainy day money in my bank account. Gone. Then I had some stocks that were sitting idle that I closed and sent those proceeds. I converted my dollars into cryptocurrency and sent that. Bottomline is I converted all of my savings which amounted to about 50K to them. This is shaming to even write this here. It’s hard to even say these words because I’m a person if you met me, would never think I’d be that naive. There were yellow flags throughout the process, but the further I got into the deep end, the more I needed this to manifest as promised. There was a website that I was “trading” the new crypto I had purchased with my real money deposits. I watched those accounts grow. This sounds horrible so far. But THIS is not why I’m writing here. I would just write off this 50K to my stupidity and tell no one once I realized it was a scam. So here’s why I’m here: In order to get to “institutional status” for my account, I needed to have a 100K account size. With it would come tax advantages, etc. I didn’t have 100K. Heck, I had just cobbled together 50K liquidating this and that. The only thing remaining was a CC (and I wasn’t going to do THAT-“that would be stupid” I told myself). So instead I cashed in on my remaining resource–the equity in my home. I took out a Home Equity Loan to the amount of 101,500 @ 9.3% interest. I was on the cusp of withdrawing and I wanted to get the tax advantages. It went through without a hitch as I have great credit. I pay my bills on time, live within my means, don’t live fancy, no outstanding debts–I’m that guy. Then I tried to withdraw. I’m sure you can figure out what happened there. I was physically sick not only at the loss of an amount of money I have never had in my account at one time, but also sickened at the shame–stunned I could be that stupid. After all, I’m a clever, resourceful, industrious, intelligent person! So losing the 50K is well, I could just pick up a couple more part time jobs I suppose and work another ten years. But now there’s this 30 year $850 loan payment that will outlive me. I had plans for the Monopoly money I made: I was going to pay off my kids enormous college debts, give a nice wedding gift to my daughter to match her father’s, give a similar gift to my other 2 daughters who got married and I didn’t have the money at the time. I was going to pay off my mortgage, replace my 30 y/o carpeting, and give a large matching donation to my local church. I have some friends and family who need some assistance and I was going to help them. Instead, I let my dreams–my really nice intentions–blind me from the reality I was a victim of a malicious scam. The best outcome for me is to get this monster loan paid off in the next year or so–somehow! Thank you for reading my story.

Anything is appreciated

I’m not sure if this is legit or not but thought it couldn’t hurt to try. So if anyone sees this, sincerely thank you in advance. I’m a single dad who works full time and any overtime that I can pull when I don’t have my son. My dream and ultimate goal is to free myself from financial stress and take better care of my family; as well as have the money to hire a parent coordinator to help get me more time with my son. I had to spend quite a bit of money to hire an attorney and get joint custody of him which I’m extremely grateful for. However in doing so I really got behind on bills/rent. It’s truly hard to ask for money but I’m struggling to keep my head above water right now. Thank you for listening.🙏

Looking for a fresh start

Hello and good wishes to you!

Like many people, I’ve overcome a series of difficulties. I can share all the details if anyone wants but the bullet points look like this:

Parents split after too many violent altercations while feeding their alcoholism

Physical and emotional abuse

I was a teen mother and worked as soon as I could

I married at a young age to escape my parental situation

My eldest sister passed away young from a drinking problem

My husband took advantage of me, racked up loans and credit card debt, we filed bankruptcy and divorced after 13 years of marriage

Within 6 months of the divorce my father got very ill due to his drinking problem and I took a few months to handle his end of life care

What little he had to pass on went to my elder sister

I lost my housing and bounced from couch to couch with my daughter

I am now renting a house and still playing catch up from the divorce, which was just over two years ago.

I am looking for help for a number of reasons. I am getting behind on rent, I still have loans to pay off from the divorce, I have student loans, medical procedures coming up, and my vehicle is quickly expiring. I have a good job and I actively work 40-60 hours per week.

If you can help that would ease my stress and help me get a healthier fresh start. I am excited to go to a grocery store again instead of the food shelves I’ve been frequenting. I am excited to find some peace of mind by starting a savings account. I am hopeful to achieve a point in my life where I’m living. I’ve been stuck in survival mode for so long and it does cause me to question how long I can survive.

I know I’m not the worst off in the world. Survival mode goes a long way. I hope you can imagine the joy and peace you’d bring to a mother and her daughter. Realistically, without your help I will survive. I’ve taken steps that I’m proud of. Still it may be another decade or two before I can afford to take a vacation, something I’ve never done. I am thankful for what I have, and envious for what I see others taking for granted. This both drives me to do better and can leave me feeling defeated if I look too hard at it. I do the best I can to focus on the progress I am making. Please consider helping me with a fresh start.

Thank you for your time in reading this.

Homeless and scared

First I wanted to say thank you for this opportunity.  My name is Tracy, and I am in Denver Colorado where I have lived my entire life.  I never thought I would be homeless at 61, but I learned that homelessness could happen to anyone.  I was my mother’s caretaker in her later years, she was my best friend and the best person I know.  After she passed at 91 there was a long chain of events and here we are today, Thank God for a friend of mine who offered me his couch, but I can’t stay because he is a veteran, and they will take his housing.  I have been on the housing list with no luck and it’s becoming scary.  I am on a pension and Social Security survivor benefits from my late husband, The thing is those two together come to $1,000 a month and you can’t find a buffet apartment in Denver for less than $1100.  I’ve tried roommates and although people have good intentions life happens and we can’t control the actions of another.  I’ve never been a person who just gives up and living in my car is not safe nor an option at 61.  A friend and her husband found themselves in a similar situation.  They purchased an RV and rented a lot with complete hook-ups, it’s very close to a tiny house, and perfect for me.

So, I sat down and decided, my long-term goal is to train service dogs. I’ve worked with dogs my entire life and I’m good at it. Also, I know that $1000 a month is impossible to live on, and I don’t have a significant other, so back to work I go.  I’m excited really because I’ll be doing something worthwhile and something I love.  Getting from point A to B is the problem.  I have written my grant and business plan for my new business, but before I can do that I need to have a secure place to close my eyes at night and be safe.  Tic tock is the clock and I’m days away from moving into my car and I’m terrified. Yes I have friends who will let me barrow a couch but to what end?  I’ll be in the same situation down the road.  My beautiful mother told me once, “in a world full of problems be the solution.”  That is what I’m trying to accomplish.  I looked at RV’s and applied for a loan. With no down payment I don’t have a chance.  My credit score has gone from 700 to 576 and a lot of the problem there is student loans.  At 50 I went back to school while I was taking care of mom, 2 classes away from my bachelor’s degree in legal studies, which is no help now.  Then of course the income is a problem.  Also ,there are older RV’s but to put an RV on a lot with full hookups it can’t be any older than ten years.

My question is – is there anyone out there with a 2014 or newer RV that is taking up space they would care to donate?  I will take very good care of it and love it forever.  Or $30,000, $25,000 to buy the RV and $5,000 for plates, insurance, and putting on a lot,

I am a 23-year cancer survivor and have been kidnapped and held hostage but being homeless is far worse than either of those. A safe place to close my eyes at night will be a new beginning and the end of this nightmare.  Thank you for hearing my story.

Hoping to save my home.

Hello, I’m here to hopefully save my house from foreclosure. I’ve fallen behind on my property taxes due to medical issues. My bills are behind, and my paycheck goes right to every bill. My loan company for my car has been working with me but some others are not. I’m looking for help to get back on track and all extra will go to others on here so I can give back for everyone’s generosity for me. I’m hoping to be able to get $10,000 to help me. I want to thank you all in advance.  paypal.me/DBick433
