Disabled wife & me being the caregiver isn’t paying the bills!!

My wife became sick in October of 2016 and she was in the ICU till the following march. During that time she was given 1 to 6 weeks to live, BUT she has made it. She is now 100% disabled and now have had to stay home with her to take care of her, but that’s not necessarily what set us behind. I’m a general contractor and had my own company 2 years ago and after our lease ran up we were having a hard time due to COVID and a friend of mine offered us a nice camper to purchase and I ended up paying 8000 for it. at the same time I was in the process of rebuilding a house for a family with the agreement that when they refinanced I would end up with approx 23000. they let us put our camper on the property and I started the job. I started in June of 2022 and worked there until November with only about 3500 as pay knowing that when they refinanced we would be compensated for the hours and work accomplished, so as hard as it was for only getting 3500 for 6 months work I thought the outcome would be great. they put the home inspection off 3 times and in November they had us removed from the property just as the house became finished and did not pay us what we had agreed apon. since it was november 16th snow had arrived and we did not have a place to move our camper to it was snowed in on their property. we all came to the conclusion that it would be there until about March. I started to email them wanting to get my camper and tools and other supplies that were mine that they would not let us get. finally they responded after 9 emails and we set a date to come and get our belongings and out of spite they called a tow place from across the state and had the camper and things removed. when I finally found out where it was with the help of the police the bill got to 2700 in 1 week. 1900 to come get it( it was a 31ft 5th wheel) and 200 a night for storage. well after a couple weeks of going back and forth with the tow people, the police I had to take it as a loss because the bill was more than half of what I originally paid for it. Because of the fiasco I lost one storage unit from when we had our house due to them not paying and I have 2 more that I have been able to deal with the storage facilities because they understand what I’m dealing with. I have recently filed papers with the NH supreme court to recoup the lost wages, tools and camper all totaling 32000.00 but this is going to take a while and I have been contacted by both storage facilities letting us know there will be auctions in the beginning of the year and if we don’t come up with the funds we will loose all our belongings. Since then I have been taking care of my wife and not able to do my business so we have been living with her father and on her SSDI. Also NH does not have a care giver program for husbands so we have nothing but our storage and going to loose that soon. I’m here today asking for help because court is going to be a long process and trying to see if we can get help not to loose our things. The storage comes to 9300 and I don’t know what to do.

CRY FOR HELP!!! “Urgent Financial Assistance”.

Dear Friends and Supporters,

I am reaching out with a humble heart to share my current situation and seek your generosity in assisting my family and me during this challenging time.

I am a student in Canada, striving to pursue my education while supporting my family, which includes my father and six children. As you can imagine, managing the needs of a family of eight is quite a task, especially when financial difficulties arise. Currently, I am facing challenges in paying our house rent and providing essential food for my family.

Despite my hard work in seeking employment opportunities, I have yet to secure a job that can help alleviate our financial strain. If anyone is aware of remote or in-person job opportunities in Brantford, I would greatly appreciate your assistance in connecting me with potential employers.

Your support can make a significant difference in our lives. Whether through financial contributions or job leads, every little bit helps us stay afloat during this difficult period. Together, we can ensure that my family has a roof over our heads and enough food to eat.

Thank you for taking the time to consider my plea. Your kindness and support can help us navigate through this challenging time.

With heartfelt gratitude,

NEED URGENT HELP PLEASE READ

Hello, First of all let me say how grateful i am for you reading my post..My name is Myndi and I never thought I’d find myself in a situation such as this, however love makes you do things you swore you’d never do. Im not even really sure how much we will need for this but im hoping to come up with $3000 to start with. Im here because my best friend in the whole world needs help. His name is Brutus and he is a 7 year old red nose pitt bull. Brutus is the most amazing guy you could ever hope to meet. And he is seriously my best friend! Weve been through so much together…me Brutus and my boyfriend of 6 years, Mikel. There is a huge amazing story here that i dont think will fit in this column but ill try to break it down so you can hopefully get a slight idea of how much this help means to all 3 of us. Mikel and I have not always made the best choices..were both addicts in recovery for almost 2 years now. We adopted Bru in early 2021 from a woman who brought him to salt lake city from Wyoming!! Mike and I were living in our 3 door saturn car at the time and werent expecting a nearly 100 lb monster to step out of the car that just pulled up. However she was desperate and it was love at first sight for all of us. So we took him. And aside from the heavy addiction and stuggle from homeslessness and such..we were all happy. When Mike went to jail in 2022 it was just me and Brutus together on the streets of SLC. He kept me alive at times. It gets super cold outside and just a tent dont really do much for easing the ache of the cold. But Brutus and a sleepingbag kept me nice n warm. He also protected me from some rather mentally upset people at times. And kept the predators at bay. By predators I mean the men out there looking to take from girls who have no protection. Theyre out there believe me. Well then we both got clean and sober…have been working full time jobs, have a home everything. But its been a slow build and very expensive. So we literally have ZERO savings and live paycheck to paycheck. Its a struggle but soo worth it. But now brutus is sick. We dont know what is wrong with him and have been trying to come up with money to take him to the vet..the last 4 days weve been doing yard work, scrapping, anything we can do to get extra $$ Its not coming fast enough though and he really needs to be seen. He has been acting like a completely different dog. Almost like hes had a stroke. He is completely quiet now, he drools like crazy, he drinks water like crazy, and just kinda lingers there. Well now hes falling down…were terrified for our boy and are desperate to save him if we can. Please help us help Bru. Im not sure how all this works but im just praying a miracle will come and we can get him to the vet. Thank you again for taking the time to read my post. If you can help, please consider helping us. And please if you know others wbo may be willing to help we are in dire need. Im not really even sure how much we will need but i do know that just a visit and probable tests will be in the area of $900 so im hoping to come up with $3000 or more. Thank you again. God bless us all.### My paypal.me is @Ourhopeforbrutus

It’s been a Challenging 2024

Hi Kind Soul with a Great Heart,

I come to you very humble in asking for your help financially. 2024 has been by far the most challenging year of my life. I begin with I have been searching for a job since December 2023. I have been diligent in my endeavors and dedicated to finding a job to no avail. I was on unemployment and that ran out after 6 months. During this time, I have had to move out of my apartment and move in with a friend and her family and they have been so gracious to me. That is one Blessing, I can say has come out of everything.

I’ve lost my independence and fallen badly behind on bills. My money has since dwindled, and I am down to the bare minimum. I have about $50 to my name and need to cover my bills from my car payment, my phone, car insurance, license renewal, groceries and to try and get out of some debt that has accrued over the past 10 months. I ask you if you can please help me with at least $1500 to $2500, would be a giant help and I promise to pay it forward once I get back on my feet.

The mental and emotional toll all of this has brought on me has made it hard for me to get out of bed in the morning at times. I am doing everything to help myself and trying to keep an open mind and heart to understand that this too shall pass.

I will forever keep you in my prayers and ask God to Bless You.

Your generous giving is so appreciated and respected.

I could use some finical help

I’m a 71 year old male currently living in Orange county, ca I am collecting social security benefits, SSI and food stamps and I’m in need of a van or any vehicle I can live in as rent cost is very high my income does not afford me the ability to pay for a studio apartment or a room, my income is $1200 and most rentals like studio apartment and or rooms cost much more, best I’ve found is $850.
I do receive food stamps and that helps a lot plus my 1996 ford thunderbird is in need of a mechanic but I know that it’s not worth fixing to live in so any amount is much appreciated or if you have a vehicle you wish to donate. My brother and I shared a very nice 2 bedroom apartment in Fullerton for $1200 plus utility’s in for twenty years and on 25 July 2024 my brother died of a heart attach and I was forced to move out, funeral expense and cremation took a lot of what we had saved but I still have $5000 and saving still.
I’m currently staying a a kind woman’s home and she’s not charging a cent so I’m thankful for her kindness but it’s not working out as her and her husband like the TV loud even at 2AM and the couch I sleep on is about 15 feet away, she has accused me of taking food that I have not touched she has also changed her mind and telling me I make a mess and not picking up after myself, I tried to explain it’s there dog who makes the mess but what else can I do.
So my last hope is living in a van on BLM land and Long-Term Visitor Area (LTVA)in Arizona and Nevada like so many others are now doing now days and who are in the same financial situation as I.
I have $5000 saved and putting $500 away each month however I need at least $10.000 for a good working used van, I am not picky on brand names. I watch marketplace, craigslist for a place to rent and or buy a vehicle I can live in however Orange county and California is expensive and yes I now know I should have left the state long ago, any help is much appreciated and I thank you for any help. I would also except a vehicle I could live in as long as it is road worthy and I would pay for the DMV fees.

Support Request Following Spouse’s Suicide 6/5/24.

Subject: Request for Support in a Time of Need

I am reaching out to you during an incredibly difficult time in my life. On June 5, I lost my beloved spouse Mike to suicide, and the pain of his absence is overwhelming. As I navigate this unimaginable grief, I am also faced with the harsh realities of unexpected financial burdens.

The loss has left me not only heartbroken but also struggling to cover the final expenses for his cremation and scattering of ashes.  Additionally, because there is no life insurance to cover his loss, I am at risk of losing our home, which adds to the weight of this tragedy.

It’s difficult to ask for help, but I find myself in a position where I must reach out for support. I am setting up a donation fund to cover both the final expenses and to help secure my home during this tumultuous time. Any contribution, no matter how small, would make a tremendous difference and bring me one step closer to finding some stability.

I want to honor Mike’s memory and ensure that his legacy lives on, not just in my heart but also in the way I navigate this hardship. He was a loving partner of 34 years and a source of joy in my life, and it is my hope to remember him not just through my sorrow but also by creating a safe space for healing.

If you are able to contribute, please know that your generosity will be deeply appreciated. You can donate directly through PayPal.me/RobynMontgomery154.

Thank you for considering my request during this heart-wrenching time. Your support means more than words can express, and it gives me hope as I take these difficult steps forward.

With gratitude

Financial Hardship

Hi, I am a 31 year old transgender man who is, sadly, in needing of assistance. I am a caretaker for my best friend who is disabled. I am able to get paid for doing this but my pay is basically peanuts and I am currently not fit to work outside home right now. We are barely making rent as it is with only my pay and numerous health issues prevent my friend from completing their SSI application at the moment, even worse now that winter is nearly and the weather has been keeping them bedbound. Due to a lot of financial reasons and decisions, I am now unfortunately also indebted over $1,500 in credit debt, layers of bills, and paying for later plans that I sadly cannot cover at the moment.

All of this was done to aquire food, pet supplies, medicine, and toiletries, etc. that we unfortunately have to try and stretch out due as my pay is never enough to cover much. I have sincerly tried my hardest to keep on top of everything but I am currently at the end of my rope with trying to make ends meet. If anyone would be kind enough to donate, I would appreciate it greatly. I won’t let that kindness go to waste.

Seeking Support for My Family During a Challenging Time

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out today as a father of three, deeply committed to my family but facing some serious challenges that have made it hard to keep up. We’re a family of five, and my wife and I are doing everything we can to provide for our kids and create a stable life, but we’re at a point where we need some extra support.

A few years ago, I left a secure job for a new opportunity, only to lose it due to unexpected economic changes. I’ve since returned to work, but I’m also dealing with cancer, which limits my ability to take on more to make ends meet. My wife, who lost her job when the pandemic forced her company to close its retail stores, has also been trying to find stable employment.

Our three kids are doing great in school and keep us so proud. Our teenager, is passionate about football, but a recent ACL tear has put him on the sidelines for a while. Our middle school daughter loves dance and aerobics , and our baby boy is just as dedicated to football and wrestling. We want to keep supporting them in their passions and education, but it’s been tough to stay afloat.

Despite managing to pay down some debt, our financial situation has been overwhelming, especially as we’re facing over $52,000 in debt. We’ve done our best to keep our credit healthy, never missing a payment, but with one of our cars breaking down, it’s become nearly impossible to manage daily commutes to work and activities for our kids. To make matters harder, our home is in urgent need of repairs, including our HVAC system and a collapsing kitchen structure.

We’re reaching out for help to try and keep our family stable through these difficulties. Any assistance, advice, or support would mean the world to us. Thank you for reading our story and for any help you can provide.

Two Hurricanes within two years since moving to Florida, Please help me rebuilt my home

Two years ago, I packed my hopes and belongings alongside my husband, seeking solace in a place where the sun shines every day and palm trees sway with promises of peace. But instead, I found storms that shattered my dreams. My husband and I moved to Florida in July of 2022; we’re both in our 60s, hoping for a slower, more restful pace of life. My husband had undergone a quadruple heart bypass during COVID in 2019, only to be diagnosed with prostate cancer shortly after. I knew we needed a major lifestyle change, so we moved to Florida, seeking the tranquility we felt we deserved.

We purchased a small home, but two months later, on September 27, 2022, Hurricane Ian destroyed it. The relaxation we had craved turned into a life filled with relentless emotional and physical labor beyond anything I could have imagined. We tried to rebuild our home with the little money we had, but then, on October 9, 2024, disaster struck again, and our home was once more destroyed and flooded by Hurricane Milton.

We are emotionally drained and desperately seeking help from anyone kind enough to assist us with donations to rebuild. I carry over $60,000 in student loans, and I’m uncertain how I’ll repay them. Our dreams of tranquility and fresh beginnings have been swept away in the depths of hurricane waters.

Hurricane Ian descended like a dark shadow, turning our sanctuary into a waterlogged shell. Twenty-six inches of floodwater surged through my home, swallowing cherished memories and reducing our refuge to ruins. Just as I began to gather the strength to rebuild, Hurricane Milton came crashing through, subjecting our fragile existence to yet another deluge. Each storm eroded not only our home but the very fabric of my spirit.

Now, my husband and I find ourselves living in a hotel, transient souls adrift in a sea of uncertainty. The walls that once held our laughter now echo with loss, and each night, I lay my head in a place that feels like a shelter, not a home. I’ve moved several times in the last few months, seeking stability but finding only the relentless pull of change and despair.

The repairs to my home are beyond my reach, a daunting reminder of the life I once envisioned. Without full-time work, my financial resources dwindle, leaving me in a cycle of worry and fatigue. The burden weighs heavily on my heart; it strains my soul, pulling me into shadows I never anticipated facing.

I share this not for pity but in hope—hope that there are kind hearts willing to help me rise from this tumultuous sea. Any support you could offer would be a lifeline, a way to stitch my life back together. I long for the day when I can reclaim my space, breathe in the ocean air without fear, and find joy in the gentle rhythms of life once more.

In this moment of need, I reach out into the unknown, grateful for any kindness that can light my way. Your generosity would mean more than words can express, helping to mend not just my home, but my spirit as well. Thank you for considering my plight. paypal.me/CSchulheis40

Please help me to stop treading water

I am a 60-year-old wife and mother living abroad with my husband and our 17-year-old son, who is in his final year of high school.

A bit about my situation: I am a professional singer, and my husband operates a small burger shop. Unfortunately, the past few years have been challenging for us financially. Before the pandemic, I was in steady demand and worked nearly every day. However, when the pandemic hit, my performance opportunities and pay significantly decreased. To manage expenses like food, school uniforms, and a new computer for my son, I had to dip into my savings, which are now nearly depleted.

My income dropped from around $7,000 per month to barely $1,000–$2,000. I have had to rely on loans from friends and family to make ends meet, a position that has been both humbling and difficult. My husband’s burger shop is currently $25,000 in debt due to loans he took to keep it running during the pandemic. Repayment on these loans begins in December, and despite our best efforts, we are struggling to find a way forward.

My financial responsibilities include food, car payments, clothing for my son, and his new school computer. My Visa card was canceled in July after I missed two payments, and now my only available line of credit is a MasterCard, which I fear I may soon lose as well.

I have reached out to my son’s school, but there is only so much they can do if tuition remains unpaid, and I am deeply worried about him being forced to leave at such a pivotal time. I’ve already borrowed from my brothers and a close friend, and I cannot ask them again.

I am reaching out now in the hope that you might be able to help. I know this is a lot to ask, but I am truly at a loss and am trying everything I can to keep my family afloat.

The amount I am asking for is $30,000. This would help cover outstanding tuition, late taxes, insurance, credit cards, and essential expenses. We are doing our best, but it feels like we’re barely keeping our heads above water.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Any help you could provide would be a lifeline, and I am incredibly grateful for any assistance.

Sincerely Thankful,

donations can be sent to PayPal.me/ineedtobreathe
