Emergency Money

Hello generous donors,

I normally never ask for help, it’s usually not in my personality and I am normally very self sufficient, so this is a bit hard for me to share. I was laid off a few weeks before Christmas last year, which was a big blow not just financially, but emotionally since I had to cancel a trip to visit family, and instead spent it alone. A company had moved me across the country where I had no friends or family, but accepted the offer as it sounded like a great opportunity. Well, after leaving everything I knew to work for them, I got let go during the holidays, and a bit oddly, 1 day before a doctor appointment I let them know about, regarding some stomach pains I had been having that they were aware of. I went ahead to the appointment, then proceeded to get an MRI, alone, the day after Christmas, which I also spent alone unfortunately. In my follow up visit for results, the doctor said I was diagnosed for adenomyosis, an extremely painful condition for women which compounded my stress. I was so down, but tried to keep my spirits up so I accept an invite by my neighbor to go sledding, thinking it would breathe some relief into my life and give me more energy to keep going and look for another job. Well, instead, I ended up fracturing my spine, as I sledded off a 4 foot cliff and fell directly on my tailbone on a frozen pond.. It was so painful I could not get up for 25 minutes, but my neighbor drove me to Urgent care as soon as I could move into her car. Even with painkillers, I couldn’t sleep for more than 3-4 hours a night for about 3 months due to being woken up from the pain my injury was causing me, and working a new job at that point just seemed impossible, as well as unfair to any employee who’d hire me. Through physical therapy, pain killers, and doctors visits, orthopedist, I have maxed my credit cards to pay for treatment and keep me afloat while I had no income and inability to work. I had to patiently wait for the pain to go away and be able to get proper sleep. Even simple things like carrying groceries was impossible, and getting help with daily tasks got extremely expensive for me while I had no money coming in. I need money to pay rent and pay back all the medical bills I have accrued through the accident, on top of basic needs like food, gas, and utilities. I have recently started looking for work and am optimistic, but am in desperate need of help with mounting bills and rent in the meantime while I get myself back on track with a new job now that my pain has been reduced at this point. Any help would be much appreciated while I go through this temporary rough time. It has been tough but I am hopeful this is all temporary.. I feel thankful I found this website and am able to connect with good hearted people that are willing to lend a helping hand. Thank you, and God bless you..

Season

Hello,
I’m requesting your assistance in monitoring a parent, not eligible for assistant living or rest home. The root cause is due to an Alzheimer’s challenge diagnosis, which makes it difficult to take care of her. It places a strain on the finances. The amount being spent is more than the reasonable allotment for food & household supplies for one elderly person. With that and the following expenditures you’ll find they are not usual and customary and causes a strain on the pocketbook. Her income is solely social security.
We have endured roof repair expenses that stemmed from the Ian storm surge. The insurance co did not cover it due to the high deductible amount. Trees have cut down to prevent further damage also not covered by insurance.
In addition to that there are home & appliance repairs that have gone well overdue not to mention the car. We recently replaced the AC/Heating unit which still has a lingering balance.
We have had floods that required the repurchase of appliances and services that did not get covered by insurance. There are numerous small jobs needed for the upkeep of the house.
We have an insurmountable amount of unpaid bills that are pending repo or disconnect.
There are mounds of unpaid medical bills piling up due to routine visits and due to some acute visits. There are some balances placed on credit. Back therapy appointments with the physical therapist have been permanently paused due to the specialist co pay “amount” and the “number” of visits required for treatment. I have opted for at home exercise and stretching techniques instead.
I appreciate your consideration and your humanity.
Thank you for your time. Thank you in advance for your assistance. May God bless you for your generosity.

Breaking the Cycle, help needed

I’ve been fighting this battle for a long time. It’s a fight that takes everything from you—your time, your energy, your spirit and leaves you with barely enough to scrape by. I always thought that if I worked hard enough, if I gave enough of myself, things would turn around. I used to believe in the promise that hard work leads to success, that persistence can eventually break the cycle. But I’ve been fighting for years and it´s not getting better.

I worked two, sometimes three jobs, just to make ends meet. I used to be proud of it, thinking that it meant I was doing everything right. Every day is a blur of deadlines, phone calls and late-night or nightshifts. But despite all the hours, the sweat, the exhaustion, nothing changes. There’s always another bill, another unexpected expense. It’s like I’m digging deeper and deeper into a hole that never seems to have a bottom.

I try to plan, to budget, to save a little here and there, but it always feels like I’m running in place. The rent goes up. Gas prices soar. And then the car breaks down. There’s always something—always something else that needs fixing, something else that needs paying for. And no matter how hard I try to stay ahead, I fall further behind.

The exhaustion, the stress, the overwhelming sense that I´m never going to get out of this. I could see the life I want, the life I dream of, but it feels so far away. A life where I could finally take a break, where I wasn’t constantly on the edge of financial ruin. People expect you to do it on your own, to make it work. If you can’t do it by yourself, then what does that say about you? I’m not supposed to need help. I’m supposed to figure it out.

But I can’t. No matter how much I want to, no matter how much I push myself, I can’t do it alone. I’m running on fumes. I can’t see a way out of this.

There are moments, when I’m sitting alone with my thoughts, that I wonder what it would feel like to have just one moment of peace. To not worry about whether I can afford the next bill. To not worry about whether I’ll make it through another month. To not have to work through another weekend, sacrifice my health. I want a life where I’m not struggling just to get by, but thriving.

I want to be able to pay off my debts (57000), this is the thing what takes all my income. It’s hard to admit that help is needed, I´ve been running on empty for so long. But getting out of this situation without someone else’s help doesn’t seem to be an option.

I am very grateful to everyone who took the time to read my story. Any help is deeply appreciated.

Help vedaste for injured mother and orphaned Nice

Hello, my name is Vedaste.

Recently, my family was struck by a devastating tragedy. My mother and sister were involved in a terrible car accident. My sister died on the spot, leaving behind her 9-month-old daughter. My mother survived but suffered severe injuries—she lost both of her legs and is currently in the emergency room, fighting for her life.

Before the accident, we were living together in a small rented home that cost $150 per month. My mother and sister were the ones supporting us financially. Now, everything has changed. I am doing my best to stay strong, take care of my little niece, and support my mother during this unimaginable time, but I can’t do it alone.

I’m reaching out to kind-hearted people for help. Any amount you can give will go towards:

Medical care and recovery for my mother

Daily needs and care for my 9-month-old niece

Rent and basic living expenses

Your support would mean the world to us during this incredibly painful and uncertain time. Thank you for reading our story and for standing with us in any way you can.

With gratitude,

Vedaste

DISABLED WIDOW DESPERATELY NEEDS HELP!!

Hello Everyone! I am a 50 year old disabled widow. I haven’t always been disabled, just in the past 4 years. I have developed scoliosis as an adult which prevents me from standing up straight and my neck also became hyperextended which makes it so I can’t lift my head to look up. Since these issues began, my life has turned upside down. I went from being this beautiful woman to a haggard woman suffering from severe depression. It’s not easy going from one extreme to the other emotionally and it’s hard to not think that I’m somehow being punished in some way. But the reason I’m here writing this to you all is because I need help …badly. My husband died almost 3 years ago and he was my everything. My lover, my best friend and supporter and my caretaker. He went in to cardiac arrest while he was at work and his coworker didn’t give him CPR, so he went without oxygen to his brain for more than 15 as they waited for paramedics. When the paramedics got there, they were able to get his heart beating again but he wouldn’t wake up. He was in the hospital for almost 4 days, with everyday passing,  we were being told by the doctors that he wasn’t going to wake up. So his parents and I made the decision to let him go. It would have been selfish of me to keep him alive that way and I knew he wouldn’t want to live like that. Since I lost him, I have also lost everything else, my husband, my home, my things, and worst of all, I lost me. I have not grieved for him yet because I guess in my mind, I keep thinking that this is someone’s sick joke and he’s still alive, even though I know he’s not. There was a point during this time that I wanted to go be where he went, with him. I gave up. I’ve been struggling just trying to survive. I have no money because I can’t work due to my disability and I haven’t even been approved for Social Security yet. I’ve been living in a travel trailer that I bought with the money I received as donations from family and friends when my husband died just so I would have some kind of roof over my head. But I’m about to lose that too because I got a collateral loan with it so I could make ends meet and keep water and propane in my trailer for basic needs. The reason I’m asking you all for help is because I need to pay off the collateral loan so they won’t take it and I need to pay ahead about 6 months in lot rent as well as have money set aside for future utilities. I’ve finally gotten out of my slump and decided that I do want to live and I’m ready to have my back and neck surgery so I can at least feel somewhat better about myself. But I can’t risk having the necessary surgery and not have a place to come home and recover. So I’m asking you all please, will you help me? I would be forever grateful.

Embarrassed but Humbled I truly need some help!

Hello, my name is Michelle, and I find myself in a position where I need to reach out for assistance. I don’t like or enjoy asking for help but here I am, doing just that. I’m 51 years old, and unfortunately, while I was in the hospital, a room I had rented was severely damaged, along with other areas of my home. I had to rip up carpet and replace the toilet and other things that were taken from my home.Thankfully, I have managed to work out my mortgage situation to avoid foreclosure, which is a relief. However, I am currently struggling to pay my electric bill, which amounts to $200, the best in Texas can be unbearable and I also need to cover my medications which is 4.79 times 6 . The transplant center provided me with a month’s supply of my cyclosporine and medication for my autoimmune disease, but that’s not enough to alleviate my financial burden.I can always visit the Seniors Center for dinner, so I’m not going hungry, but soon my phone will be shut off as I can’t manage the $300 bill. Since I find myself in this position of asking for help, I want to share that my monthly income is only $1,377, while my mortgage amounts to $830. I am determined not to lose my home, which I dedicated so much effort to remodel six years ago, just before my liver failed. I’m going to tell you my story about my liver failure because I truly have a real life hero.My heart swells with gratitude when I think of my daughter, who selflessly donated part of her liver to me; she truly is amazing, and I love her dearly! While I’m not entirely sure if I should be sharing all of this, I feel compelled to express my appreciation for her. She recently gave me $50 for essentials, even though she can hardly afford it herself. I apologize if I seem to be rambling.I have never begged before and I’m nervous stressed and embarrassed. If there’s anyone out there who could offer assistance, I would be eternally grateful and carry your kindness with me always. Your generosity would mean the world to me during this horrible time. I’m truly grateful once more for the time you’ve taken to listen to my story. I genuinely appreciate anyone who chooses to read my message and offer their assistance. Thank you again. If I need to pay anymore back I will buy it won’t be much every month but I will. Thank you again very much! I apologize if there is two of these I forgot to enter my cash app $Shell7483 . I apologize.

Help Me Rebuild After Assault – At Risk of Losing My First Home

Hi everyone,
My name is Asanti, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a deep sense of urgency.

Just two months ago, I achieved something I was incredibly proud of: I moved into my very first property at the age of 22. It was the start of a new chapter, one I worked hard for through savings, planning, and dedication. I was excited to finally have a place to call my own.

But everything changed in an instant.

I was assaulted inside my flat, the very place that was supposed to be my safe space. This traumatic experience not only left me injured and emotionally shaken, but it also resulted in significant damage to my home and belongings. Furniture was broken, parts of the property were damaged, and my peace of mind was completely shattered.

Since then, I have been facing a mountain of unexpected expenses, including medical bills, home repairs, and the cost of replacing essential items. I have tried to stay strong and handle things on my own, but I am truly struggling. I am now at serious risk of losing my home and becoming homeless. The financial pressure is overwhelming, and I cannot do this alone.

That is why I am asking for your help.

Your donation will directly support my recovery by covering medical expenses, repairing and renovating my home, replacing damaged furniture, and helping me stay in my property. Every contribution brings me one step closer to stability and safety.

Please consider donating to help me get through this incredibly difficult time. Your support can make a life-changing difference.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for standing with me during this challenging chapter.

Emergency Bill

Hello everyone, my name is miracle from imo state Nigeria 🇳🇬 I was introduced to this site by a friend of mine, I told my friend about my young sister health issue and he suggested that I should come to this site to ask for help that maybe God may send me a helper through this site. I am an Orphan and I have a younger sister who is seriously ill and needed an emergency treatment, I lost my parents in the year 2022 and since then I and my only sister has been suffering until today, please I need a financial support to take my sister to the hospital before she dies in the house, please if you’re online reading this message, I just want you to know that you’re my destiny helper and also a God sent to save the life of my only sister, please don’t ignore this message just because I am not your relative or sibling. My young sister is seriously sick, she had an accident a year ago and was crippled and I have been trying my possible best just to make sure she lives longer even though she can’t walk with her two legs at least her life matters a lot to me because she’s the only sibling I have, I am a mechanic and just an apprentice, I don’t have the capital to take her to the hospital because in my country Nigeria you must deposit some money to the hospital before they can be able to start a treatment on a patient in their hospital. I tried to call my uncles for help but it’s unfortunate that they couldn’t help just because they were in enemity with my late father just because of a potion of land in the village and that’s why they never care about us until today. Please help with any amount so that I will be able to pay the hospital bills for my to stay alive 🙏 😢

No amount is too small and I would appreciate if God helps me through someone with a good heart on this site, and prayers for anyone who’s willing to help me, That may God never allow you to lack and may he always provide for you and also guide your going and coming in whatever you to put food on your table, Amen 🙏

Help PG&E Bill Clearance $1,196. Any amount helps

I’m deeply grateful for the chance to share, and I would sincerely appreciate any help. I lost my father in December 2023, and just three weeks ago, I lost my grandfather. It’s been a season of overwhelming grief and unexpected expenses. Things have piled up quickly, and I simply do not have the means to pay. I’m doing my best to stay strong, but financially, I’m in a really hard place right now. Please, if you’re able to help, may God bless you and repay you a thousandfold.

One of the most urgent parts of my debt is an electricity bill for $1,196, due on May 23. When I traveled home to Africa for three months, I mistakenly forgot to close my PG&E account. I was only supposed to owe $117.65. But while I was gone, the new tenants used the electricity under my account. They’ve since moved out, and I haven’t been able to reach them.

Now PG&E is holding me responsible for the full amount. It’s heartbreaking and stressful, especially knowing that if this goes to collections, it could damage my credit score—and I’m already just trying to stay afloat.

Night-Shift Worker Needs Two-Month Lifeline to Stay Current on 17 Accounts

Hello generous soul, I’m Jessica L., a 59-year-old night-shift worker in Pennsylvania and grandma to six whirlwind kids. Over the past two years I’ve invested over $16 K in e-commerce courses and tools so I can one day work from home and mentor at-risk teens.

Today my Experian snapshot shows $64,155 spread across 17 credit and loan accounts, with utilization at ≈ 65 % and a score of 613. Minimum payments now run about $1,250 a month. Missing even one would trigger late fees and crush my credit before the stores turn profitable.

I’m asking for $2,500—just two months of minimum payments. That 60-day bridge keeps every personal account current while I finish relaunching my Shopify store and publish my first e-book. Donors get redacted screenshots proving each payment, and once I’m profitable I’ll give 10 % forward to single-income families escaping debt traps.

Cash App $JessLeo6768

Thank you for shining a little light on my path.

Help us get back home

We’re a hardworking family of four who took a leap of faith and moved across the country to try and build a better life. We worked tirelessly and saved thousands of dollars to make the move—hoping for safety, stability, and opportunity.

But everything fell apart when we arrived.

The house we had lined up was unlivable—filled with black mold and rodent droppings. We were forced into a hotel we couldn’t afford while we scrambled to find shelter. We finally moved into a small rental, but it’s far from ideal. We couldn’t even afford real beds—we’re still sleeping on air mattresses.

The job my wife was promised before we moved drastically underdelivered. Now she works overnight in healthcare and spends her days doing delivery orders—with little to no sleep. I work full-time during the day and care for our kids in the evening, trying to hold the household together and look for extra remote work after they go to bed.

Our kids barely see us together. And almost every day, they ask us: “When can we go home?”

We just had our first grandbaby born back home. We weren’t there. We missed it. And our hearts are breaking.

We are stuck in a place that’s not welcoming, drowning in debt, and exhausted in every way. We need help getting back to our home state—back to our family, our support system, and a place where we can start rebuilding.

If you’re able to donate or share our story, it would mean the world to us. Every dollar brings us one step closer to going home.

Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping however you can.  paypal.me/SShroyer87

Divorced Father Struggling to Stay Afloat I Never Thought I’d Be Here

Paypal.me/pineseboy
Hi,
and thank you for being here.

I never thought I’d find myself in this position — asking strangers for help on the internet. As a man and a father, I’ve always taken pride in being able to provide, to stand strong for my family, and to protect my child from hardship. But today, I’m at a breaking point, and I have no choice but to ask for help.

I’m currently going through a difficult divorce that has left me emotionally drained and financially overwhelmed. I am the sole caregiver for my young son, and every day has become a struggle just to keep the lights on, put food on the table, and cover the costs of basic living.

There’s a deep shame that comes with writing this — not because I think asking for help is wrong, but because I feel like I’ve failed my son in ways I never wanted to. But right now, pride can’t come before his needs. I have to put him first, even if it means humbling myself to ask for support.

I’m trying to catch up on bills, keep a roof over our heads, and manage urgent legal fees tied to custody. I’ve picked up every gig and job I can, applied for assistance, and stretched every dollar. But now I’m out of time — I have less than 4 days before I fall behind on critical payments and things start slipping through the cracks.

If you’re able to help in any way, your kindness will go directly toward:

  • Rent and utilities to keep our home running

  • Food and essentials for my child

  • Transportation and legal costs related to custody and court

  • Emergency needs just to make it through this month

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but it’s for my son. Any help, no matter how small, will make a real difference. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this message could help us reach someone who can.

Thank you for reading this. Thank you for your time, your heart, and your generosity.

With humility and hope,
Jim
