Funding for Business Start-up

Hi And thank you for reading-

I was recently unjustly (long sad story) let go from a well paying but unsatisfying job in SaaS sales. As a result of this I set out to build a business of my own so that I had more control over financial security for my children and I. I has been a challenging process with several abandoned ideas which the optimist in me will define as “learning experiences”. Three of my business do continue to exist and receive my best efforts and investment today, an online retail store, a local pressure washing, hauling, and property clean-up business, and finally a software product that will help small businesses market more efficiently and effectively. I am writing for help with the software business.

The cost to bring my product to market is $80,000. My only savings for retirement happens to be $76,000 before taxes and early withdrawal penalties, I will be using this to fund product development. As you can see I am a bit short even before marketing costs are factored in. If at all possible I would like to avoid involving loans/banks. Any amount you are comfortable donating would be most appreciated and be put to good use in my mission to help small businesses succeed. I am hoping to raise $20,000 or more through donations. I would like to avoid selling equity in the company, but am open to discussing if you would prefer that to donation. I want to be careful about sharing the product details publicly at this time, but I would be willing to share to donors/investors in one-on-one communication, please feel free to reach out to me for that

Empower Future Leaders Through Affordable, Accessible Math Education

Hi there,
My name is Armond, and I am the founder of Bobcat Math, a tutoring company dedicated to transforming lives through affordable and accessible math education. Having overcome my own challenges as a high school dropout turned straight-A math graduate, I understand firsthand the power of education to change lives.

Bobcat Math is more than just tutoring; it’s a mission to build a community where students, regardless of their background or income level, can unlock their potential. Through tutoring, a YouTube channel, and innovative services, I aim to:

  • Provide affordable math education for students from all socioeconomic levels.
  • Create new revenue streams to keep prices low for those who need it most.
  • Offer students a platform to showcase their talents and strengthen their academic portfolios.
  • Build scholarship funds to reduce the financial burden of higher education.

Currently, I am facing financial challenges that threaten to halt this dream. Fixed costs like marketing, platform subscriptions, and website maintenance total over $300 monthly, leaving little room for growth. A donation from you can:

  • Boost my marketing efforts to reach more students and families in need.
  • Enhance the visibility of my YouTube channel and website.
  • Empower me to expand services and keep tutoring affordable.

Your support could be the spark that fuels this mission to provide life-changing educational opportunities to students in need. Together, we can make math education accessible to all, regardless of financial circumstances.

If you’re inspired by my story and vision, please consider donating today. Your contribution is not just an investment in me but in the countless lives Bobcat Math can touch.

Thank you so much for your time and generosity.

Warm regards,
Armond Houston

Business Capital Needed – To Fund a new property LLC venture (USA)

Capital Needed! – I want to raise $20,000 (Any contribution welcome)

Paypal Link:

paypal.me/zephaniahblake

My name is Seph and I am an enthusiastic entrepreneur, who has been no stranger to hard work over the years. I am based in the UK and have started a number of small companies which have all completed their life cycle after a year to two years generally, resulting in losses. Rather than seeing these businesses as failures, I have understood these to have all been part of my learning experience. I have always worked jobs and tried my hand at entrepreneurship alongside each other and have spent a tremendous amount of time working on my mindset over the past 10 years; changing the way that I see money and opportunities. As I have done this I have seen gradual improvements in my business performance, and after about a decade of trying, finally learnt how to be profitable.

I started to get good at what I was doing, building on previous lessons. I ventured into a property business in the UK in the year that covid-19 first began. After a successful first year, where I was able be to build a portfolio of 15 rental properties which my company held on lease from the owners. I did not own a single property but I guess, this gave me access in a way that would ordinarily be unaffordable. This gave me the experience of achieving multiple rents from residential property and understand the power of passive, or nearly passive income. In the second year in this business, I had met the right partners and was able to broker a deal that opened up a pipeline of properties that meant that I was able to build up to around 50 properties within the second year. It was an amazing experience and I finally started to enjoy what it meant to be profitable. This required me to draw on totally new skills and I needed to attract the right kind of talent to support me in the growth of the business. By this time I started to lose momentum because I lacked the necessary administrative support, being unable to attract the right assistant. I also started to experience some issues with some of the properties as it became clear that some of them needed repairs and improvements to be carried out. Since, my initial contracts were not so well structured, there was confusion regarding who was responsible when things went wrong, such as boiler breakdown or leaky roof. This meant that I had to start allocating funds towards repairs and improvements in order to keep my tenants happy. I later had an solicitor/attorney help me to draft sufficiently clear contracts to eliminate this from recurring. I understood that there clarity was needed, going forward, so that in every deal it was clear who had what responsibility. I had to fund the repair and improvements of a number of properties due to this lack of clarity and this really ate into my profits over time. In many cases I started to end leases early, in order to reduce to a more manageable number of properties.

Around this time (the beginning of 2023), my junior brother passed away. He had been living in Canada for the past 11 years, having left London where we grew up. This brought my business operations to a standstill as I was essentially a one-man-band. I ended bringing even more leases to an end, so that I could manage in my now, grieving state. I spent most of 2023 recovering and reflecting on the lessons learnt over the past 2 years.

Whilst I’m still very much excited about what I have accomplished and what I have learnt, I able to put new ideas into practice and I am ready to do so, however, I am down on capital and need to raise funds. I have decided that I want to venture into the USA business environment and have recently formed an LLC in the US in order to try my hand in building wealth, in what I consider to be the best business environment in the world. I am looking to attract support of any wealthy individual who is happy to support a new venture and help me to make my dreams come true.

Just a little start up money

Hi,  this is Charles Benedict IV in Gainesville Ga.  I ended up in the hospital a few years ago with cardiomyopathy with is a week heart muscle.  Average is 60-80 and mine was 12.  To make a long story short the hospital kept telling me it was super pneumonia as I kept getting worse.  Anyway I month later sable  but their action literally also killed me.  Talk hospice and telling my mom he doesn’t have that much time. The last part as I was stable  and recovering tiny bit somebody said to take my antidepressant and other medications that caused withdrawal.  When you have a bad heart you die going through withdrawal.  Sorry this is getting to long.  I ended up home with a machine giving my heart power to beat.  I preyed and preyed and was a miracle so said all the hospital staff.  Mean while as I slowly got stronger  I studied and got my Drone license to go in photography.  Wasn’t for me.  I found training for day trading and have spend 3 years  studying.   Now that I have figured it out had many coaches I had used up all my savings.  I come to you today for  $1,000 to max $5,000 to deposit in a trading platform and start building a future. I hope to have a family all though I am 48 so it’s getting late.  The level of how grateful is beyond off the charts.  We may end up friends and I could send everything back to you.  FYI my heart is recovered to 35% and I tried to get a job driving not to have to be on my feet.  They said my car was too old.  Thank you for everyone that read to this point. If you would like to help me with a gift. My cashapp

A Mother’s Plea: Help Us Rebuild Our Lives

Dear Reader,

I am a single Latina mother who moved to Miami in 2021 with my young kid, full of dreams for a brighter future. Unfortunately, life took an unexpected turn. The small business I started failed, leaving me with over $70,000 in debt. Health struggles followed this year, I faced a possible uterine cancer diagnosis, and in November, my kid was hospitalized for depression.

Despite trying to rebuild, nothing has worked, and being far from my family in my home country, I feel deeply alone. My dream is to pay off my debt and reignite my passion for entrepreneurship to provide a stable life for my kid.

If you can help, you would be giving us a chance to start anew, full of hope and gratitude.

Thank you.

START UP BUSINESS / PLEASE HELP

Happy holidays and thanks to all for reading and responding to my appeal.

BACKGROUND

I have had a severe financial setback at this late stage of my life, but I also believe there might be a unique opportunity of securing my retirement again and also providing a means of helping those in similar situations to do the same.

I am a Master Gardener in both Maine and New Hampshire, with a Bachelor degree in Earth Sciences. I have worked for gardening companies in my local area, have worked at a Farmer’s Market, and Educational Farm and have maintained the grounds of several local estates for the past 8-10 years.

I recently owned 17 acres of some good land in Maine and was beginning to make my retirement home. However, a financial disaster in my family forced me to sell my property to cover these losses. Now I have to start over, though with very limited funds.

THE GOAL

I would like to purchase a somewhat smaller property, establish greenhouses for a nursery, build workshops and set up a retail and internet business presence. Sometime soon thereafter, I would like to hire a small crew and offer classes and training sessions to those who are looking to establish some self-sufficiency in their own lives. (And build a retirement fund for myself as well.)

ASSETS AND FINANCIAL NEEDS

I currently have some cash assets, tools, business contacts, supplies, a legal advisor, on-going employment (part-time) and some other miscellaneous resources to get me started. I have realistic goals and a business plan. I can pay for building materials, seed/plant stocks, transportation and other smaller costs out-of-hand. However, I would like to purchase suitable land before Spring 2025. My searching so far indicates that a 3-5 acre plot of land can be bought for about $25,000-$30,000. This is the amount I am asking for.

REWARDS

I lost my retirement home but now envision a “working retirement”. I have the skill sets and experience to make this work as a small business opportunity with positive cash income.

I am asking for your aid. I can’t possibly do this without help. Buying suitable land is the priority.

In exchange for the financial help that I receive, I thought of establishing a grove of American Elm or American Chestnut trees on the property in the name of all those who contribute. Both species were virtually wiped out by pests during the last century and helping to re-establish these species would be a lasting legacy for all of us. I have contacted one state university and they seem willing to lend assistance in getting this started. A contribution of $200 by 150 people or groups would get this project started, though any amount would be welcome!

Please feel free to contact me if you should have any questions or suggestions. Can I count on your help?

I need $3000 for startup capital for affiliate marketing

Hello. My name is R. N. Enverga. I am a 72 year old dead broke retiree who needs income to support myself and my wife and earn some for my retirement fund.. I can no longer find work in the private sector although I feel that I can still work using my intellect and acquired skills.

My journey in my professional life was somehow successful.

I was a certified Public Account in the Philippines worked as an independent public accountant, eventually became an Audit Manager in one of the shipping companies in the Philippines.

I worked in Saudi Arabia for  10 years as a systems analyst.

And finally migrated to Canada with my family in 1996. I studied project management online and worked as a project manager in Toronto Stock Exchange.

I had a stroke in 2013 and was forced to retire from work in the same year. Out of the need to make a living for my family, I ventured into stocks investment, currency trading and later crypto currency trading.  I had very limited experience and knowledge with them and after 3 years in these businesses I suffered huge losses that eventually drained my personal savings, and retirement money.

Life from that time on was difficult. I declared bankruptcy 2 times to survive. I maxed out all our credit cards and was unable to pay them and went on default and dealt with collection agencies later. I survived from my meager pension from the government and the support from my wife who works in the public school.

I came to know affiliate marketing in 2023. The income potential is great and got excited but I did not make any headway and did not make any commissions until today due to lack of capital to purchase systems and finance operating expenses. I cannot borrow from banks and lending institutions due to my previous bankruptcies and bad credit history. I feel that I do not deserve all this misfortune.

In my estimation having a start up capital of $3000 will be sufficient to start in earnest this small marketing business.

I hope and pray that there will be people out there with good hearts to help me.

Hope for a dream

Hi there hope you’re well. Life  has brought me to a crossroads I never imagined. I’ve spent years working hard, earning a degree in Marketing Management, and chasing the dream of building something meaningful. Yet, despite my efforts, the road ahead seems darker than I’d hoped.

After trying to start my own businesses, I poured everything—time, energy, and savings—into building something that would last. I believed that by dedicating myself to modest fashion dropshipping, I could bring beauty and confidence to women while creating a sustainable livelihood. But life had other plans. Challenges in an unstable economy, unforeseen technical issues, and the weight of relentless competition drained not just my finances but also my spirit.

The worst part? Watching my dreams crumble in front of me while knowing I gave it everything I had. Now, as I sit here, I’m trying to piece together what’s next.

I’ve always believed in helping others. During my teaching years, I made sure no child felt left behind. When I worked with customers, I stayed late answering questions just to ensure they felt valued. But now, I find myself in a position I never anticipated: asking for help.

I don’t want a handout—I want a hand up. I want to build again, to channel my creativity and determination into a new chapter that will show that even when life knocks you down, there’s always a way to rise again.

Your support could help me attend advanced marketing workshops, invest in the right tools for freelancing, or even revive one of my earlier business ideas with better resources. In return, I promise to work tirelessly, not only to honor your kindness but to one day pay it forward to someone else in need.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. No matter what, I’m grateful for the reminder that even in difficult times, humanity shines through in the smallest acts of kindness.

The Next Step

I write this to ask for your help. I find myself surprised to be in this situation and taking such an unusual course, but here’s hope in trying something out of the ordinary.
I am one of the many people here in the US who had their lives pretty well upended by Covid.
Prior to Covid I worked for a number of years as an investment specialist in what are called Direct Participation Programs, loosely called ‘alternative investments’ or the buzz word today is private equity. I carried the Series 7 and 63 licenses. I did reasonably well and ended up putting most of my earnings into different real estate projects. Covid and it’s economic consequences made a mess of all this and nearly all of the placed funds were lost.
I found myself in a place needing unexpected and quick income. My licenses had expired during Covid as the Broker Dealer I previously worked for wound down and the principals retired. I ended up, humorously, beginning work driving for Uber. I’ve done that now for about a year and a half now. While over qualified for the work I haven’t minded doing it and don’t feel ashamed. It has kept the bills paid and I’ve met remarkable people including a concert violinist who had a half a million dollar violin made in 1710 by one of Stradavarius’s students (I had the violin in my car and got to touch it) to the former COO of one of Elon Musk’s current companies. I also got to help many physically limited people get to and from their various places. It’s been a learning and humbling experience and a good one. However, Uber does not pay a great deal, roughly 50-70% of the fee goes to Uber, and to make my monthly nut the hours are long and grueling. I typically start, living in the Los Angeles area, at 3:00 AM and finish around 11:00 AM and then I do an afternoon shift typically from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. And I do that everyday, not just Monday to Friday. If they allowed me to drive more per day I probably would.
I decided to work on getting my licenses back and get back into investment work. I began this about 8 months ago and started looking for a new Broker Dealer. An excellent and established firm in Chicago agreed to onboard me. I retested all needed licenses including the 63, SIE and series 7 in less than 5 months, quite an accomplishment. I was taking 10 and 15 question quizzes while waiting for pickups. Anything to work in the needed study time.
However, the problem I now have is I need time to work on contacting all my old investors and rebuild my book of business. I cannot talk to these people while I am driving. It’s a funny notion to consider.
To free up the remainder of November and all of December and January I would need about $10,000. That would allow me to spend a good two and a half months working back. The programs I’d work on include green energy, tax benefitted investments and much in real estate. I know I can make this work if I have the time.
I know what you are thinking, borrow from family or friends. My family is small and presently no one is in a position to make that kind of a loan. Similarly for my group of friends, either they are unable to do it or our relationship isn’t of the kind where I’d ask to borrow such sums of money. I thought to go to some past investors but I don’t think that’s a great idea. So this comes back to the hope that maybe I can get enough people on here to help me out. Every $200 buys me a free day.
So I ask, can you help me? Help get me restarted and help get me out of this car! I hope this missive finds you well and I thank you for reading it, whether you contribute or not. I hope you are having a fine winter day.
PJ
I have made available all of the typical forms of sending cash.

As a cruelty-free brand, we don’t test on animals, and our products are free from parabens. Our liquid-to-matte lipsticks are smudge-proof and only come off with makeup remover, setting us apart from our competitors.

I’m seeking financial help to grow my business. Despite putting in the hard work of defining my audience, setting up automations, and designing an online storefront that I’m proud of, I’ve faced challenges in building inventory, marketing, and advertising due to restarting my business a few times.

As a young, single woman striving to take charge of my future, I’m determined to make this dream a reality. Any support—big or small—would mean the world to me. It would help me take the next step in expanding The Beauty Euphoria and reaching more people with products I truly believe in.

Thank you for considering my story and for supporting a woman-owned business.

Project family relocation business startup

Hello!  My family has recently relocated from Pennsylvania to North Carolina to find an area to better support our children’s needs specifically our son with ASD.   Our new home and school has already validated our instincts to move and now I am very confident to set my roots professionally in this area.  I have leased a location and am in search of assistance in getting the business off the ground.  I would use these funds for rent and marketing purposes as I build my brand in a new area. With 24 years experience in my industry hoping to “take off” soon.

Thanks for your consideration!
