Hi And thank you for reading-
I was recently unjustly (long sad story) let go from a well paying but unsatisfying job in SaaS sales. As a result of this I set out to build a business of my own so that I had more control over financial security for my children and I. I has been a challenging process with several abandoned ideas which the optimist in me will define as “learning experiences”. Three of my business do continue to exist and receive my best efforts and investment today, an online retail store, a local pressure washing, hauling, and property clean-up business, and finally a software product that will help small businesses market more efficiently and effectively. I am writing for help with the software business.
The cost to bring my product to market is $80,000. My only savings for retirement happens to be $76,000 before taxes and early withdrawal penalties, I will be using this to fund product development. As you can see I am a bit short even before marketing costs are factored in. If at all possible I would like to avoid involving loans/banks. Any amount you are comfortable donating would be most appreciated and be put to good use in my mission to help small businesses succeed. I am hoping to raise $20,000 or more through donations. I would like to avoid selling equity in the company, but am open to discussing if you would prefer that to donation. I want to be careful about sharing the product details publicly at this time, but I would be willing to share to donors/investors in one-on-one communication, please feel free to reach out to me for that
