My little work from home business started due to a rough period of time in my life that I was going through not to long ago. I had a major emergency surgery that left me with permanent lifetime complications and internal damage that almost cost me my life. I couldn’t work for months because I had developed bowel obstruction for 4 months and became septic and almost died on top of several other medical challenges.

I became very down due to my constant going in and out of the hospital for about 2.5 years due to massive infections stemming from that botched abdominal life-threatening appendix surgery and several family tragedies involving gun violence that hit my family right behind each other and then the death of mom due to illness was the final straw.

One day I went to my local craft store and walked the isles for about 2 hrs and liked the idea of making my own organic soaps, candles, body oils, lotions, invitations and engraving on wood, glass and other products. I have invested all of my life savings into buying supplies and products such as: candles, wicks, burners, plastic containers, glass jars, herbs, powders, fragrances, essential oils, soap base, soap making products, lotion base and lotion products, molds, shipping supplies, labels, wood, metal sheeting and leather to engrave on.

I’m trying to employ at least 2-3 part-time to full-time employees to help me in building up my business for success. I had to stop the running of my business due to the shut down and lack of supply and demand when a lot of the companies I brought products from stop distribution at the time of the covid lockdown. I have bins of products but I’m hoping to find some financial assistance to get back on my feet and to help others.

I would like to be able to buy additional products which is what I have been doing but my finances have run out. Some of the everyday products that I need now are these various machineries such as:

I also love engraving wood, leather and glass but to do each item manually is hard and painstaking. Hi folks! We are a small farm seeking funding to help us expand our infrastructure. We live on our historic homeplace which has been in the family since 1900. Our rural location means that we travel to market our products to the nearest metropolitan area (Atlanta, GA).

We love what we do but it’s a constant struggle to maintain our sales income and pay bills (like so many others). We have worked hard to keep our credit dependence as low as possible but we carry enough debt (mortgage, vehicle financing, backup for expenses) that it’s difficult to get traditional loans.

We have an active customer base and hope to continue our farm business into retirement. If we can raise the funds to add a greenhouse it would make a huge difference for our production capacity. Funding of $10,000 would make this possible.

I started grilled cheese alley in 2016. I started with an electric range from the dollar store and little cards that said grilled cheese alley with my phone number. I would hand these cards out and then deliver the grilled cheese when I would get called. I handed a card to a group of people and they invited me to make grilled cheese at their flea Market. Over the next four years I did many Markets including the time out new york grilled cheese melt down. I eventually was asked to operate out of a kitchen at a bar full time. I has 3 employees, payroll through adp and accepted credit cards. When covid hit it stopped my sales. I ended up shutting down at the bar.
