Hello, I am here to introduce Mr. Rocky, who is currently a three-year-old French Bulldog; we have been fighting this ear infection for quite some time. I have taken him to multiple vets to get different opinions on his ear, and they all told me other things. He has been to vets in Dallas, TX, and Los Angles, California, where we currently live. Remind you; that every vet visit costs me a minimum of 300 dollars. The vet prescribed him an allergy medicine called Apoquel; sure, some of you may be familiar with that. Also, a prescription is called Simplicef, which is an antibiotic medication indicated for dogs with skin infections or any bacterial infection. I added myself to a few Facebook groups to get pointers on this. I have tried Zymox Ear Cleaner- That Didn’t Work; Yeast Release Max supplements; someone told me that would help break down the Yeast Bateria- That Didn’t Work. Allergy Aid for dogs 120 Chewable tablets, Digestion- Prebiotic, Probiotics, Enzymes to help his digestion system, Pet Armor Antihistamine Diphenhydramine HCI to help for allergies a dog Benadryl, Mometamax Otic ear solution prescribed by the vet-That Didn’t Work, NaturVet Aloe & Baby Powder Scent Dog & Cat Ear Wash-That Didn’t Work, Dog Ear Powder to dry up the bacteria and again still NO LUCK. I had an insurance policy with Healthy Paws but had to cancel it in December last year due to financial hardship. So I started using my Care Credit Card, and they decided to drop my credit limit from $13K to an outstanding credit limit of $4k. Never thought that would ever happen. He is currently up to date on all of his shots.
I must say this has to be one of the hardest things to do, which is having to ask you guys for help. I have donated to a lot of different platforms on Gofundme for years now anonymously, but I never thought I would be the one making a profile. But Gofundme has been a fantastic software to help people in need. I asked for $7,500 because his first surgery cost me $4,800, not including med refills. They had to take out his whole ear canal; now, it has traveled to the other ear. I spoke to a vet out in Dallas, and she told me she might can do a TECA EAR procedure. That is still giving me a cost anywhere from $3800-5500. I have not had any sleep meanwhile woke up yesterday where Rocky was pouring blood from the side of his face. So I have been up all night waiting to rush him over to the Vet; I may have to cancel my flight today again, which I cannot AFFORD to do either. Hopefully, I can upload pictures of him currently.
So again, I do appreciate the help from Begging Money and anyone who decides to help us.
God Bless you all!
Dear Friends and Compassionate Souls,
I have been rescuing cats and dogs from the streets of Romania for 8 years.
If you don't know the situation of the animals on the streets in Romania, please let me tell you that it is a terrible one. They are expelled, poisoned, beaten,
abandoned in desolate places without food and water..
There is almost no legal protection for them,
authorities do not get involved..
I don't have a very big house, so I mainly only take in cats from the street (less puppies, but I also take in some of them).
They are treated at the vet, sterilized, tested for viral diseases, vaccinated. dewormed and promoted to find a safe home.
I don't have an organisations, I only act as an individual strictly from salary and occasionally from a secondary job.
Until this year I managed and saved and helped with sterilization as much as I could
but this year, due to inflation, prices have increased, including for food and veterinary medical care, and they will continue to increase,
but my income has remained the same.
For this reason, I fell behind with the payment of my debts to the vet, until now I have a debt of 3000 euros that must be paid by the end of the year.So please, wonderful people, help me to pay this bill to help next the innocent and helpless souls on the streets..
So please, i begg you wonderful people, help me to pay this bill to help next the innocent and helpless souls on the streets... we assure you of our full gratitude, because this help is priceless, for sure.
The bond between a woman and her dog is a sacred one, often transcending the boundaries of mere companionship to become a relationship of mutual dependence and unconditional love. This story is a heartfelt plea from a medically retired Marine Corps veteran, who is seeking financial assistance for her dog’s medical operation and subsequent treatment.
I (LCpl Riggins) was medically retired in 2017 due to a severe back injury, have been living on a fixed income through the VA since that period of my lifetime. I live in California where the cost of living is a little on the pricey side. Unfortunately, this income is not sufficient to cover the cost of the surgery my dog that Major desperately needs. Right now she is being made to be as comfortable as possible with the use of prescribed pain medication. Despite attempts to secure Care Credit, I was denied after being pre-qualified, leaving me at a loss for what to do next. I also looked into pet insurers only to find out that they wouldn’t cover and pre-existing conditions. I’m not sure on what else, if anything, can be done to help in this situation.
Major, my young bully pit/boxer mix, is more than just a pet to me. As a childless women, Major is my family, my best friend, and my fur baby to say the least. Major’s gentle soul has won the hearts of everyone she meets. My neighbors and even my landlord love her. However, two years ago, Major was involved in a hit-and-run accident that injured her back right leg. The veterinarian explained to me that the trauma from the accident had caused a hernia to form, which has since grown in size, making it difficult for Major to breathe properly. From what was explained was that her organs are being pushed into her chest area and her lungs are affected by that. After the hernia is removed, they have to reset her organs back in their correct places. This whole process is performed by a specialist and not the veterinarian who took her x-rays.
Currently, Major is on pain medication until the I can arrange for her surgery. The hernia is so large that it obscures her heart in x-ray images. I wish I could post them here, so the severity of the situation can be seen. Despite her condition, Major, who is just a young 3 years old girl, is full of life and is the perfect companion. The estimated cost of the surgery is around $6k, but at the moment, I only have $500 to contribute to the process. I’m am sincerely asking for any assistance with this situation. I truly love my fur baby and wish to see her live a long and healthy life.
I am earnestly appealing for any form of assistance to help Major get the treatment she needs. This situation has taken a significant emotional toll on me, and i am hopeful that someone out there can assist me. The bond between the Major and I is a testament to the profound relationships that can exist between humans and animals, and it is a plea for compassion and assistance in a time of need. If you made it to the end of this, thank you for listening to my story and I hope you decide to assist us.
Thank you for considering helping Major. We really appreciate you.
- Hello dear reader!
I help those who cannot help themselves, and it’s about animals. I know that many people are not interested in the problems of a strange animal but personally, every new post from the shelter makes me cry. I have been helping in shelters since I was a child, these are good but sad memories. I try to help as much as possible but I would also need help in helping. My dream is to start my own animal rescue group and in the financial part I can only turn to people. Help me help others and achieve my dream. I feel that I was born to help but I can’t do it alone. There is no exact amount that is needed, because I try to support other animal shelters and and open my own animal rescue group.
Every cent counts, god bless you and let’s make the world a little better.

I currently work at a hotel, (not sure if I’m allowed, or should put the name of the hotel in here) I work the front desk night audit part time. Normally I am able to pay my bills, and there’s no issues, but this month has been rather unpleasant, with everything piling up on me and living paycheck to paycheck I had to reach out for help.
I recently had to take a trip to the vet for a couple of my little one’s. (pet rats, I have 7. Their names are Gus, Tup Tup, Sniffler, Tinker, Eep Eep, Zoop Zoop, & Carrot, they are my world)! Eep Eep, and Carrot had the starting symptoms of respiratory infection, which is very common among rats. Their symptoms were minor being that they had porphyrin on their fur behind the ears. Porphyrin is a red substance secreted from the nasal cavity that looks similar to blood. I believe it originates behind the eyes, (if I’m not mistaken) and is secreted through their eyes and nose. Now, seeing this behind their ears, back of neck/shoulders I knew how it got their. Rats groom themselves quite often throughout each day by licking their paws, in doing so the porphyrin from their nose transfers to their paws and when they reach behind their ears on top of their head to clean themselves. The porphyrin is then transferred from their paws to their fur on the back of the neck behind the ears.
I had noticed the fur behind their ears had been lightly glossed red for a couple days and decided to make the call to my vet. Now, thankfully they were able to get me an appointment and bill me afterwards to pay it later. (The bill is overdue for $75 and some change as of the 21st October).. They gave me antibiotics suspended in water to be administered orally through a little syringe. Eep Eep took his meds every day without much fuss, but Carrot on the other hand was a little stinker! He’s the baby of the colony and naturally very restless and squirmy in general, especially when I hold him. But boy did he squeak, and squirm and fight me all the way every dose I gave him that week.
Normally as I said I am able to take care of the little one’s and handle my bills with what little I have but, with the cost of food, gas, phone bill, this, that, I am unable to make the payment this month to the vet. Now I am also worried because I have no idea how I am going to be able to pay for my car note either, that’s another story, a $250.oo story. Originally I was driving my dad’s old car, he gave it to me after he bought a new one but someone tried to steal the catalytic converter on it and ended up slashing the coolant line in the process. I got both of those fixed and thought I was back in business but the mechanics didn’t realize that the coolant leaked into the cylinders of the vehicle and after about a month the car was in bad shape again. They said it needed a new engine so I was faced with getting a car on the lot there at the dealership where I take the car to get serviced. So, I got the Corolla and they took the old car for 250 as down payment for the loan and I drive off with a working vehicle without having to put any money down. The only catch is obviously the car note for $250 a month. Normally I can pay it and I do pay it but again I’m falling behind fast this month and I really need help.
I’m asking for $325.00 pay the $75 vet bill that I am behind on and $250 to pay the car note that I will be behind if I am unable to find a solution. Thank you for taking time to read my story, and for any support you can provide.

So last month she came back to Utah to take my little sister down to TX to get sober. While she was here in the one day she was rear ended and her car was totaled her little baby Daisy was thrown into the dash bord , but was okay so they went back to TX well my sister finished treatment and came home my mom drove her back but she decided that she was going to stay because my grandparents aren’t doing so well so she needed to be here to help them for a few months. So she is stating with my sister and one of the kids didn’t shut the front door and no one knew dasiy got out. Well she got hit and was hurt really bad her hip was broken and she had swelling in her brain. Well she has pulled through what they didn’t think she would. But now she needs Sergey that my mom can’t pay one of my sisters has gotten a loan to help pay most of it. I am a retired senior on a fixed income living. Since retiring I have been rescuing and rehoming abandoned or injured dogs and cats on an ad hoc basis for a number of years now. It is much needed in the area I live in and, as it has now become my vocation in life, I wish to create a sanctuary that will be a safe haven to house and care for animals I find myself or others bring to me. The neighborhood kids have been bringing me abandoned or injured animals they find because they trust I will take care of those animals, bless their kind hearts. My request is for funding to build the type of special fencing that keeps animals safe inside where they cannot jump out or climb out (cats easily jump high or scale normal fencing). Within the fenced enclosure, different sections must be created to separate dogs from cats, while allowing freedom to run about and play. Within these sections, varying sized structures need to be built to house all the animals for eating, sleeping, and against increment weather. The interiors will be designed for comfort for the animals. I have researched the fencing and housing supplies and labor requirements and the costs that fits my plan for the pet sanctuary I wish to create. My funding goal for the supplies and labor is $20,000. I thank you in advance for your consideration of this funding request. https://paypal.me/KeepPetsSafeProject?country.x=US&locale.x=en_US
Hello, thank you for reading my post.
My name is Lucy and I recently purchased a 12 horse livery yard which has been a lifelong dream of mine every since I was a child and I fell in love with nature and animals at a very early age.
Over the last 7 years, I have created an ecommerce business from nothing and have brought up 3 children during this time but my dream has always been to work with animals and children.
The purchase of the livery yard completed in August 2023 and the stables are in a very bad way due to age and storm damage which occurred recently.
I don’t have the cash to improve the stables and I am in the process of setting up a forest school/day care for young children from 6 months – 4 years and money is tight.
The Stables are in a bad state after years of neglect and lack of money and they won’t last another winter.
For someone to help me improve these stables would mean the absolute world to me and my family and the horses that live there.
I would be so very grateful for any donations and thank you very much for taking the time to read my post.
I took my 2 cats to Uruguay to marry a guy I met on facebook. He seemed very nice online but as soon as I got to Uruguay I found out he lied to me about who he is. He was and is very mean to me and I am living in fear. The embassy will help me with my tickets but they cannot help me get my beautiful cats home, who I rescued since they were babies. I cannot bear to leave them with this monster here. The fee to fly my cats home is $1500, and any help is appreciated so we can get home safely. God bless you!!
Summary: Animal Rescue Family drowning in money troubles starting with $62 left in the bank and zero available credit, zero available 401-K, zero savings, and no source of income. Unemployment ran out three weeks ago and tomorrow I need to buy dog food and human food with the remaining $62. For some reason, the State of Florida does not give food stamps to anyone who owns a home, despite the fact that even people who own homes also need to eat. Today I got a disconnection notice for utilities for $125 from Sarasota County and on September 30th, we lose health insurance coverage if I don’t pay my COBRA bill of $1,210. Two days ago, the shower broke and Mike is trying to figure out the cheapest way to fix it. We are running low on food and cleaning supplies and I don’t know what else to do; this is the first time in 20 years of us being together, I have not been able to support our household. ANY HELP of any amount is truly appreciated!
About us and our household: Mike and I have rescued 19 fur babies (16 dogs and 3 cats). Each one has been rescued from one place or another – 4 of the 10 dogs and 2 of the 3 cats we moved across country from California to Florida. The newer ones have found us since we moved to Florida 5 years ago. We have always opened our home to animals in need and tend to rescue animals that won’t get adopted as we don’t want them being put down (since moving to Florida, we have taken on three dogs in more of a hospice role – one lived only 3 weeks, another 2 months and the last one went thru Chemo for 6 months and 2 months later was put down). We have taken dogs in for chemotherapy and whatever treatments/operations they have needed. Markey has Congestive Heart Failure and Oliver has a grade 6 Heart Murmur. We currently manage three difficult dogs that have been surrendered multiple times (Rama, Marley and Maggie). Mike rescued our new kitten Quincy when we saw a car ahead of us throwing kittens out the window while going 55 mph on the freeway; he was small enough to fit in the palm of Mike’s hand. In his lifetime, I believe Mike has rescued and raised over 50 dogs – rehabilitating several aggressive dogs and we manage a few difficult dogs that have been surrendered multiple times. When I met Mike 20 years ago he had 15 large dogs and 5 cats. We moved our entire family from California to Florida so we could be near my Mom living in Assisted Living, who is 93 this year and has survived several strokes and also suffers from dementia/Alzheimer’s and needed family nearby – so we moved.
I never imagined I would go online to ask for help to feed my family and pay our bills, however, here I am. Yesterday I was reading in Psychology Today that the most important thing to do for self-care is to ask for help when you need it, I almost fell out of my chair. I am notorious for being too proud to ask for help in all areas of life, however, I am in an extremely desperate financial situation with approximately $60 left to my name (no more savings, no room on my credit card, no more 401-K, no more HSA and no job prospects despite interviews); I don’t think companies like to hire 61-year-olds.
Background on how we ended up in financial hardship:
I lost my job in April of this year with no severance pay. I got 3 months of unemployment insurance from the state of Florida, however, the $3,300 annual allotment of unemployment ($275/week) ran out this month). I have drained all my retirement savings accounts. Today I have less than $62 left to my name (with no more savings, no more 401-K, no more HS A – no more assets other than my house and my car). I do have equity in my house that I would love to tap into, however, with no paycheck and poor credit score, no one will extend me a line of credit on the house. Earlier this week I went to buy food to feed everyone, there are 21 mouths: 2 humans, 3 cats (Tom, Jonathan, and Quincy) and 16 dogs (Girls: Ruby, Bella, Zoey, Maggie, Zena, Maya and Luna. Boys: Markey, Sam, Oliver, Rama, Bodhi, Marley, Teagan, Gunther, and Zolo).
The state of Florida won’t give us food stamps because we own a house and now we have no money for food.
I am starting to sell valuables and jewelry on Ebay and Amazon (I want to get an appraisal on my engagement ring). I don’t know how I am going to feed us and keep the electric on next month. They also could repossess my only vehicle. In October, my 3rd quarterly HOA dues will come and I haven’t paid since January – I am hoping they will not try to put a lien on the house. Today I got a disconnection notice from the County (water, sewer, trash). I haven’t paid my mortgage in 3 months. I need to feed my family and keep the utilities going and keep our car and still have internet and electricity so I can find a new job.
How can you help?
Below is a list of what we need immediate financial help with. Although food and utilities are of the utmost importance, I can’t afford to lose my health insurance as I had 1st kidney stone surgery in June and 2nd follow-up surgery in July, a ureteral stent lodged for 2 weeks in between the surgeries. The surgeon said my kidney was oozing blood and puss and after he zapped most of the stones in that first surgery, he wanted me and my Kidney to stabilize before he went back in to get the really big stone. I owe both hospitals a lot of money, my entire deductible and out-of-pocket maximum of $7,500. Although I would like to pay my hospital bills, it is far more important we maintain health insurance in the event of any new medical emergency; we’ve already met the annual out-of-pocket maximum so Blue Cross/Blue Shield will pay 100% of any new medical expenses. I don’t want us to lose access to that medical coverage.
It is critical I pay $1,210 by the end of September to maintain health insurance for emergencies. We also need money for human & pet food (immediate need of $200 – see first two bullets) and basic bills as follows:
- Regular food & cleaning supplies ($125/week or 500/month) – we can buy most at Walmart,
- Dog & Cat food & supplies ($280/month) – we buy this from the Tractor Supply Store,
- Health insurance COBRA bill ($1210/month) due in 7 days,
- Sarasota County Utilities ($125 disconnection notice),
- Car insurance is ($109/month) due in 10 days,
- Electric bill (approx. $300-325/month) – Florida Power & Light due Oct 7th,
- Car payment ($429.71/month) loan with credit union due on 22nd with 10 days grace,
- Internet ($80/month–so I can keep looking for and land a job) due Oct 6th.
- HOA dues are $125/quarter so I need $375 to get current so they don’t put a lien on our house. Next quarter is due on October 1st, when we will be 3 quarters late – I need to pay them at least $125 so they don’t take action.
- We also need about $70 worth of plumbing supplies & piping so Mike can fix the shower faucet that broke and finish installing the Kitchen sink.
When I look at this list it comes out to just over $3,500 although I have not listed everything we need, these are just the critical items. I will sleep better if I know I have a way to feed everyone for the next 30 days.
We also have a senior Chihuahua, Ruby who is between 17 and 19 years old, who will need to be euthanized at some point in the next 30 days (she can’t hear, can’t see, has no teeth and lately has been struggling getting around and getting stuck places crying) that will probably run us another $165 in vet and cremation bills. We have two other seniors who should be getting senior panels soon, I don’t have that amount, however, I think those run about $265 each. I also need to get three girl puppies spayed (Zena, Maya and Luna) and two boy puppies neutered (Gunther & Teagan) and the boy kitten (Quincy) also needs to be neutered. At $160 per pet that will cost another $960 (we go to the Animal Rescue Coalition who gave me a discount last month on the first neuter surgery). Another $1,000 (one-time) would help us get the remaining puppies neutered or spayed. Gunther is currently on the schedule for November 9th, however, I have no way to pay for that neuter surgery.
I actually cried today when I gave two dogs the last two bones in a separate room so no one else would see. I didn’t include the bones or “treats” we normally give them in the list above because they can live without them; kind of like Mike and I surviving on peanut butter & jelly or tuna sandwiches and cheese quesadillas. The bags of treats are expensive @18/bag and only lasts a few days with 16 dogs. It would be awesome to be able to give them their treats, that would be another $400/month.
Anyone who sees we need a way to offset my salary, I am starting to build content using Chat GPT to potentially sell some things online to help offset my missing salary. I should have something up in the next 90 days. Ideally, I would purchase two software subscriptions for this side hustle work that would run about 7.99 and 24.99/month. I will continue to look for a new job as I get this going.
Longer term, I have $7,500 in medical bills I will eventually need to pay. I currently have a forbearance on the mortgage thru the end of the year, however, by January I will have to get the outstanding balance sorted out (Mortgage is $2,749/month). Also, we still owe $9,000 on our car and I would really like to pay that off so I don’t have to stress about losing the car when I can’t make the payment.
We are waiting on Insurance to make the final settlement offer from the damage done by Hurricane Ian’s 134 mph winds, however, we know they will subtract the deductible of $8,250 and the policy does not cover replacing the screens on the lanai which will be another $5,000-6,000 exclusion/deduction. It has been almost a year since we have been able to use the Lanai and pool, the Lanai has filled up with wasp nests, mosquitos, frogs, flies, snakes, and critters. I’m grateful we still have a house; it has been a very stressful year for our family.
When I see all these larger amounts, I just get more overwhelmed.
For the next 90 days, I want to focus on raising enough money for food and utilities, maintain healthcare and keep our car – can you please help us get thru the next 30-90 days?
This is the link to my paypal account if you can help us in any way. Any amount will be appreciated!
