My poor dog is in pain

My poor, sweet girl Lexi is in pain , she needs hip surgery as she had hip dysplasia. She always puts on a brave face and is so loving and gentle and kind. I have slowly watched a she had deteriorated all while staying determined to be loving towards me and my family. We have done a few charity things but haven’t come close to the 25k we need to get Lexi to a point where she no longer lives in pain everyday. It is getting harder for her to take short walks, to get up from a laying down position and she has even cried out a few times in pain, which breaks my heart into a million pieces. She is such a sweet, sweet girl and I would do anything to help her, i love her so much, she saved my life after a great loss of my best friend and his mom, when I was ready to give up, she filled my days with love and laughs and gave me a reason to push on. I really owe so much to her, and all i want is for her to not be hurting so much anymore, I am truly begging for help. I have plans to one day open a dog refuge for older abandoned dogs on 250 acres in the Pacific NW , It’s my dream come true and I am in beginning stages of the venture, it will be far more expensive but it will be my life’s purpose, i plan on saving so many dogs lives and giving them a special life and spoiling them when their time comes. I will rehabilitate the dogs, let them roam free and get them all the medical care they need, but first I have to focus on my sweet baby lexi and save her from the clear pain she is feeling. I am so very grateful to anyone that can donate even a little bit to our dear sweet girl. I cannot thank you enough, i reality, really, really appreciate all of you so much! Thank you so much from Lexi and i , you are truly saving us from this rapidly declining situation of pain and suffering. Lexi thanks you to, if you could have even just one minute with her you would see how special she is and how much she needs your kindness…. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts….Lexi and E

Please HELP our English Bulldog Sarah to stay with her Family and fly Overseas for $5300

We are a desperate family facing a heartbreaking dilemma that has left us in utter despair. Our family of five is preparing for a life-changing move overseas. We made arrangements but at the last minute the house sale fell through and a devastating obstacle has presented itself, threatening to shatter our dreams: we cannot pay $5300 freight charges to bring our beloved English Bulldog, our faithful companion of almost four years, with us.

Every airline company we’ve reached out to has regretfully informed us that they do not accept English Bulldogs Sarah as cargo due to their specific needs and potential health risks during air travel. As a result, we are left with no choice but to entrust our precious furry friend to the care of a freight agent, who charges an exorbitant fee of $5,300 to transport her safely to our new destination. Unfortunately it all came at the last minute and we made all other arrangements and pleaded with Lufhansa but after 2020 they would not accept snub nosed dogs, only as a freight.

Our three children, who have grown up with this lovable canine by their side, are utterly devastated. They cannot fathom leaving behind a cherished member of our family, and their tears break our hearts. We have explored every alternative, exhausted all possibilities, and must now turn to you, kind-hearted individuals, for help. Our Flight is already next week 07/14/2023 and there is no time for other options.

We implore you, in the name of compassion and love, to consider extending a helping hand to us in this dire situation. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to our family and bring us one step closer to reuniting with our dear four-legged friend. Your generosity could turn our sorrow into joy and ensure that our furry companion remains an inseparable part of our lives.

We understand the financial strain that many face, and we deeply appreciate your willingness to consider assisting us during these challenging times. Our sincerest hope is that this plea resonates with your own love for animals and the strong bonds they create within families.

If you find it within your heart to help, please reach out to us directly, as we are in direct contact with the freight agent responsible for our pet’s transport. Or we can provide information about freight agent directly.

Thank you for taking the time to read our desperate cry for help. We pray that your compassion and empathy guide your decision, and that together, we can make a difference in the lives of our family and our beloved pet.

Embracing Hope in the Midst of Struggle

To whomever sees this and finds it in their heart to help,

I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. I am reaching out to you today with a humble plea for assistance during one of the most difficult periods of my life. My journey over the past decade has been riddled with hardships, and I find myself at a crossroads once again, desperately in need of support to overcome the overwhelming challenges I face.

It all started in 2012 when my world was turned upside down by a devastating divorce. Left alone with a house, with several rescue pets, on the verge of foreclosure, I summoned every ounce of strength and determination to navigate through this dire situation. However, the burdens kept piling up as, in 2013, both of my parents required care due to their declining health. Balancing the demands of my small home-based business and taking care of my ailing parents became an arduous juggling act. Despite the financial strain, I managed to keep things afloat, tirelessly attending to their needs, from preparing meals and managing medications to countless doctor appointments and more.

The year 2017 brought me the unbearable loss of my father, amplifying the difficulties in my life. My mother’s health deteriorated, leading to numerous hospital visits and additional responsibilities managing her affairs. Fast forward to 2020, and the global pandemic hit us all like a wrecking ball. My business crumbled, and if it weren’t for the stimulus support and an SBA loan, I would have been left in dire straits. Unfortunately, the promised return to normalcy has eluded me, and I continue to struggle to make ends meet.

With just five clients remaining from the thirty I once served, I had no choice but to take on a second job and seek assistance for food and utilities. Grateful as I am for the lifeline these resources provided, they barely scratch the surface of the mounting financial obligations I face. I am currently burdened with a leaky roof, lack of transportation due to a non-functioning car, and a looming $6,000 debt to the SBA. Moreover, my negotiated payment plan for the electric bill is falling short, while credit card bills and a water bill compound my mounting debts.

I am not here to ask for a handout but rather a helping hand to bridge the gap between this desperate moment and the resurgence of stability in my life. I am in the early stages of building an online business, but progress has been slow due to the immense demands of caring for my mother. The funds I am seeking, $2000 will alleviate the immediate financial strain and provide a safety net during this critical juncture. ie. some bills for a couple of months, food for my pets are the most important to me.Greycee.jpg

Your generosity and benevolence would provide me with a glimmer of hope and the breathing space I need to regain my footing. With your support, I can focus on nurturing my online business, securing a stable income, and eventually paying it forward to others in need. I yearn for the day when I can extend my hand to someone else facing similar struggles, just as you have done for me.

Thank you for taking the time to read my heartfelt request. Your consideration means the world to me, and I remain forever grateful for any assistance you can offer. May you continue to bring light and relief to those who find themselves in the darkest of times.

With heartfelt appreciation,

Effie RS    PayPal.Me/EffieRS

PS I tried desperately every which way I knew how to get pictures uploaded but apparently this site doesn’t support anything larger than 0.5MB. I do not know how to make the files smaller…pictures of bills, pets etc. If anyone would like to see those images I would be glad to send them some other way. I managed to send SBA loan payment bill. I’m not sure it’s in the right place though.

My kitty broke his leg. :(

Hi, I just got a new kitten and he broke his leg. I had to get a splint put onto it but that cost me over 900$, including exam fee, xrays, supplies and meds. Unfortunately, due to this, I am in quite a bit of credit card debt that has been piling up, and I don’t make enough money to be able to pay it all off quickly. I had gotten this cat after my other one had passed away, so he meant too much to me to just let the leg be and heal on its own. I will also have to take him back in, in about 6-8 weeks for more xrays and to have them take the splint off. I would appreciate any help I could get!

Please help stop my sister’s 11 dogs from being shot!

I am begging for help for my sister, Angela, who gave up a well paid career travelling all over the world to rescue animals.

It began when she was working in The Bahamas and was saddened by the amount of animal cruelty there. She would catch as many dogs and cats as she could, take them to the vet to be spayed, then release them again.

The amount of animals she has rescued is far too long to list here, but below are a few of the more memorable ones:

– A lurcher puppy that was about to be drowned by travellers

– A hound who had been hit in the face with a brick, breaking his jaw, splitting his mouth and knocking out his teeth

– A cockatiel whose owner could no longer look after him and was  going to release him into the wild. Being tame, he wouldn’t have survived

– Several battery hens who had never been out of their cages

– Some turkeys, destined for Christmas dinner.

A few years ago Angela was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and had to have a hysterectomy followed by chemotherapy. But she continued with her rescue work during this time.

Inevitably, most of the animals Angela rescued needed medical attention and the huge vet bills used up all her savings. She was forced to leave her home in the UK and moved to Ireland where property was much cheaper. She moved to a small bungalow in the middle of nowhere with a field attached. It didn’t take long for the field to fill up…

The local farmer, who keeps the sheep surrounding Angela’s property, soon discovered she was a soft touch. He has no time to bottle feed new born lambs, so if any are orphaned or are poorly, he gives them to her. Beforehand they would have been destroyed. She now has a small flock, all raised in her bungalow, all doing well.

When an elderly neighbour had to go into hospital, Angela took care of his two horses. When this neighbour sadly died, she was able to find a loving home for them.

Then came 4 abandoned and ill-treated donkeys and several goats.

Angela currently has sheep, pigs, donkeys, goats, ducks, geese, 11 dogs, 6 cats, a cockatoo, a cockatiel and a parrot! All of her animals live happily together, most of them in the house, and want for nothing.

Angela, however, is not doing so well. She is in serious debt of over 20,000 Euros. She has no cooker and has to use a small camping stove. Her van broke down so she has no transport. To get to the nearest town she has to get a taxi, costing her 25 Euros there and 25 Euros back. The only footwear she had was an ancient pair of crocs with the soles missing, until a sympathetic friend bought her a pair of wellies.

The latest and most serious problem she has is with the local farmer, whose sheep are lambing. Angela’s garden/field is not fenced in, and her dogs have just started exploring the farmer’s field. Although her dogs are well behaved and don’t go near the sheep, the sheep are frightened of the dogs and run away in a panic. The farmer has explained that this could cause them to abort their lambs, and has threatened to shoot them if he sees them in his field again. To fence in Angela’s field would cost about 5,000 Euros, so she now has to keep her dogs on long lines, which isn’t ideal.

So… Angela desperately needs some financial help. She never spends any money on herself, it all goes to the animals. Literally any amount of money would help and would be so very much appreciated.

Domestic Violence Victim Needs Help

Hello,

this site is strange to say the least .. I’m in a bad situation though so here we go!

On April 21, 2023, I was brutally assaulted by my husband because i had the wrong tome with him too early in the morning. The verbal abuse was nothing new, but he had never acted this way before. A long story short I went to the hospital for a fractured neck and severe whip lash. I’m grateful to be here writing this. Had it lasted a moment longer i may not even have to worry about money ever again.

Fortunately, that was not the case. I’m here today to humbly ask for any assistance in getting a good lawyer to leave and a down payment for a fresh start. I have 2 dogs; one is 11 years old with a heart condition and the other is a big marshmallow Service Animal.

We just want to be safe and somewhere far away from here. If you’re reading this, no its not a scam this really did happen and its quite frankly embarrassing. I may start a Go Fund me today as well.

The lawyer fee is $3000 for a retainer and $200 an hour for her services. I need this lawyer as he makes a lot of money and will surely try to take everything from me when he finds out I am leaving him for good.

My apartment options are around 2500 a month, so I’d need first months’ rent at least, I do work though I had to take time off due to the injuries. I can afford it as soon as I am on my feet again.

I’m not looking for one person to make my dreams come true, I’m quit literally begging for anything you can spare. Thank you and have a blessed day.

Victim of Domestic Violence Seeks Surgery for Family Pet, Havoc

My name is Leslie, I am a single mother, who is employed full-time. The year 2021 was a horrible year for me. I had surgery at the end of 2020, and I was not in the best health physically or mentally. In January of 2021 a childhood friend I had not seen in a long time stopped by to visit me. Before I knew it, he had moved in. That is when my nightmare started. Throughout that year, I experienced extreme physical, mental, and financial abuse. His abuse got so bad toward me, that my son went to live with my sister. He had made me mentally sick, and I was not thinking in my right mind. I was scared and unsure about how to get away from him. In December after enduring months of abuse, my abuser was arrested for physical assault. Eventually, I was able to find the courage to get an EPO. The EPO was changed to a DVO with a 3-year time frame. My abuser was arrested within a day of the EPO being issued and was arrested twice after that for violating the DVO. The arrest was followed by court date after court date in 2022. After being released & arrested multiple times, he was finally incarcerated for failure to appear & probation violations. I experienced extreme financial hardship as a result of this relationship. He would not work, and in addition to normal household bills, he maxed out my credit cards. I had to negotiate all the credit cards and close them out. I was still left with the balances due, and making the minimum payments each month. My credit score went from 750 to 350. I had to get a modification on my home loan because I had gotten behind on my mortgage. He caused extensive damage to my home, where I had to make repairs and change locks etc. He caused $7,700 worth of damage to my car, I filed an insurance claim, but ultimately lost on that as well, because I had to negotiate the $1,000 deductible with the business that made the repairs, because I was unable to pay the deductible. The cosmetic damage that occurred to my car has been repaired, however, it still has issues. I need new brakes, rotors, an alignment, and tires as soon as I can afford them. I pursued felony charges against him for the damage he did to my car, and he was indicted for Felony Vandalism and Persistent Felony Offender. That court case is still ongoing, and he should be sentenced within the next month. I continue to pick up the pieces of my life, my abuser may be in jail now, which gives me some peace of mind, but I am still left with the physical, mental, and financial damage he caused. As I was beginning to recover last year, I had to put our family dog down unexpectedly. Doing so was extremely hard on myself and my son. After our dog had to be put down, I was fortunate enough to have a friend give me Havoc, which is the puppy I am asking for help for today. Havoc has been a blessing to both me and my son. Unfortunately, on Friday, I came home from work to find that he was not able to use his back leg. I was able to get him to the Vet on Saturday to learn the unexpected news that he had a salter harris fracture of the proximal tibia in his leg. The Vet proceeded to tell me that the ideal option was for Havoc to have surgery, this is why I am asking for help today. It is estimated that the surgery will cost between $2,000.00 – $4,000.00, which is money I do not have. Havoc means so much to me and my son. I have to do whatever it takes to see to it that Havoc has surgery and regains full use of his leg. The veterinarian has said he should have a 100% recovery and gain full use of his leg if he has the surgery. I would appreciate any help you can give to see that Havoc has the surgery he needs.

I am trying to secure $4,000 to cover surgery and travel so that Havoc can have the surgery he needs.

Please Help Me Cover Comfort Care for My Dog!

IMG_0590.jpegHello All! This is Moose. He is a 7 year old Great Pyrenees-Labradoodle mix that my husband and I adopted from a rescue in 2017. He was around 1.5 years old at the time, and came to us in New England after living a life on the lamb in Alabama. He is an absolute doll of a pup – well behaved and loving. In 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, we found a lump on his throat, which turned out to be a Thyroid Carcinoma – a cancerous tumor on his Thyroid gland. Thankfully, it was a relatively simple surgery and there was no evidence of spread to other parts of his body. The diagnosis and subsequent surgery cost around $6500. He needed frequent follow ups with an oncologist in addition to regular vet care, which cost us another $2000 per year. We were doing ok, until another lump began growing on his throat, which we discovered in November 2022. He was referred to a vet internist and it was recommended that Moose get a CT scan, as this was a recurrence of his thyroid carcinoma and they said if its regrown there, it may have spread. This most recent evaluation cost us around $3500. Unfortunately, on the CT, the vets found another tumor the size of a softball attached to one of his adrenal glands. This particular tumor is also growing into his caudal vena cava – the vein that returns blood from his rear end to his heart. What this means is that not only is this tumor malignant, it is inoperable and ultimately, terminal. We also cannot risk getting his throat tumor taken out either, as they are worried that the anesthesia will raise his blood pressure too much, causing the vein to rupture under the weight of the adrenal tumor. We are utterly devastated. Thankfully, Moose doesn’t know he is sick yet, and he likely will not feel any discomfort with supportive medication and diet until the throat tumor grows too big, the vein ruptures, or the vein becomes fully blocked by the tumor. He has maybe a month to 10months left with us, by the vet’s best estimation, but he could literally drop dead tomorrow, we just have no idea and there will be no warning signs until he begins to decline. We he does begin to decline we will literally have minutes to hours until he passes away. We are doing our best to give him a full life, but the medication he is on to keep him comfortable, the food he needs to keep him healthy, and these most recent vet visits and testing/imaging, has created a financial hardship for us. I already work 2 jobs and my husband’s haying business (he also has 2 jobs) busy season is about to get underway, leaving us with too little time to work additional hours, while still being available to spend time with Moose. We believe we have figured out how to cover the existing bills, however the costs for his care moving forward are looking like $350-400/month, which we simply do not have. We desperately want to continue to help make his life as happy and healthy as possible for whatever time he has left. It would be ideal for us to cover these costs for up to 10 months ($4000 total). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

MY DOG BRAXTLI IS SICK

20230409_011240_0000.jpg

Hello, I am here today asking for some help. $1 maybe $2 if you could it would be greatly appreciated. This is Braxtli Collins. This dog is my Best Friend. She is my shadow and pretty much thinks I walk on water. She saved me a few years ago when for some odd reason, I felt compelled to go to the animal shelter all day long. Walking in it was loud and just crazy with every dog barking up a storm. As I looked up she was standing right there up against the cage silent and very scared. Immediately I asked her “Do you want to go outside with me?” Anxious to get her out of that room she was stuck in. She looked so sweet and quite malnourished. What was really the thing I fell in love with was her white legs, it looked like she had on a pair of socks and one fell down. (Later I learned she has a black heart 🖤 on one of those white socks.) Learning her story was heartbreaking and made me want her all the more. Abuse and learned she was all set to get driven up to Salt Lake and just dropped off…where, I REALLY did not want to know. A bit later found out a day before she was to get spayed she was pregnant! Regretfully with my two bleak choices she had to the next day abort 7 puppies. I truly feel that she found me that day at the shelter and was something special that I really had no idea I needed to be blessed with but thank my lucky stars I was.

Braxtli has a lump. It started out small and now is bigger and I can tell it is bothering her alot. It is located on her left side not so much in her nipple area about 5 inches above and I am truly scared, and truly kicking myself feeling like I am a crappy mom for not having a nest egg stashed for moments like this. Veterinary Clinics I am sure of do not have payment plans and what she has going on is serious enough that they will want to take blood samples, most likely Xray and I would imagine biopsy the site where this lump is. If it is bad next will come a surgery to remove it. I am getting an anxiety attack just writing this. Today I am here asking if you could please donate to my dog Braxtli. This little girl means more to me than you will ever imagine and I cannot help her right now to get the immediate help that she is needing. Any amount would she would get so appreciated, Anyone who has a pet knows it is like our own kids and definitely part of a pack/family. Thank You!

My rabbit needs to be spayed

Hello. My name is Tatyana and I am from a small country in Eastern Europe. In here a lot of people don’t know how to properly take care of their animals since we are not being given the proper information in the shops or wherever. Sometimes it’s hard to even find something helpful in the internet if you are looking for sites on our country’s language.

I was like this before. Before I got the love of my life. By that I mean my lovely rabbit. Her name is Bacardi and she is two years old. Our story is beautiful and I believe it was fate that brought us together. I saw her in a local shop one day. I fell in love and i felt like she did too. The next day I was nearby this shop so I couldn’t resist going to see her. And there she was, my beautiful baby. I really wanted to take her home but I knew that I don’t have the money and the time to properly take care of her so I told myself “No!” and walked away. I was really emotional through the whole day and even jokingly, not completely tho, told the guy I was talking to that I want a rabbit. Never mentioned the exact shop or the exact rabbit, just told him that I want one but it was just because of my sometimes childish behaviour and everyone who knows me is fully aware of how I behave and that it’s not that serious. Day 3. I went out with friends and was supposed to meet the same guy. Me and one of my friends went to meet him at the bus stop so we could take him to the place we’ve been to since he only knows me and her. And there he was, standing with the exact same rabbit from the shop in front of me. If this isn’t fate then I really don’t know what is.

Me and Bacardi have been filling our lives with happiness for two years and five months now. I knew nothing about rabbits at the beginning but I spent hundreds of nights and days reading and learning how to properly take care of her and give her the best life which she truly deserves. It’s been difficult for me to keep up with everything but I know it’s worthy.

The thing is that Bacardi needs to be spayed as soon as possible to prevent the chances of getting sick and for her own comfort. Please help me to collect the money, I want the best for my baby. The spaying for a female rabbit here costs around 100$ but I am living alone and barely getting it together for real, so I didn’t have the chance to save money. She really deserves the world and I am ready to do anything to give it to her and spend many many more years happily together because I know she is the best thing to ever happen in my life and she means everything to me.

PLEASE HELP ME

Hi,
To start this off, thank you for reading this. I never imagined I would be asking for money online from strangers, but I guess there’s a first for everything.

To lay it all out; I am stuck, and very desperate. I have debt, quite a bit of it. And it’s drowning me. On top of that, late last year I had to stop working due to my mental health rapidly spiralling to the point I almost admitted myself to a psychiatric hospital. Thankfully my family found me help and I am on the mend, but now I feel awful as they paid for my therapy – which is not cheap AT ALL – while they themselves were struggling financially at the time too.

Since I am not working at the moment, I am obviously getting no money, so paying rent and bills is getting very difficult as my savings is just getting lower and lower.

The rest of my debt is student loan, vet bills and money owing to my parents. Regarding the vet bills, which I want to pay my parents back for, a car hit both of my dogs last week and didn’t stop. They both needed surgery and thankfully both are still alive. However every time I see them, I am reminded of the money I need to pay back to my parents. I really need to pay them back. I love them both immensely and wish to get ahead so it’s not hanging over my head every second of the day.

If you have read this far, thank you.
Anything helps, even if it’s just $1.

Vet bills

This is an updated post to the one I put on yesterday – my PayPal link didn’t save

Hello,

To start this off, I would like to thank you for reading this – and an even bigger thank you if you are in a position to donate. Yesterday both of my dogs got hit by a car – I live on a very quiet street, the ball went on to the road, the car came speeding around the corner, hit them and didn’t stop. One is 17 months and the other is 13 years. They are both at the vet undergoing surgery; unfortunately we don’t know if old boy will pull through but we always have hope. At this stage, I have no idea how much it is going to cost, as I still haven’t had an update on them or if there were any internal injuries alongside the others (the young one has a broken leg and cracked ribs, the older one a cracked hip).

If you are in a position to donate, please do. These dogs are my life, truly.
