Father asking for help for his sick daughter

Hello, my name is Shyamal and I’m a clerk in a private company living in Sri Lanka. First of all, I will not ask for your help if isn’t for this situation, I’m facing now. My daughter is five years old and she has diagnosed with leukemia one year ago. Hearing this made a big shock to me and my wife. From then to now life has been very miserable.

My wife doesn’t do a job and only my monthly salary is not enough to cover both my daughter’s medical treatments and our day-to-day living costs. And the current Sri Lanka’s economic crisis has worsen our situation.

So, I’m reaching out to ask for your help in raising  $8275 to cover my daughter’s treatments and help to buy a three-wheeler to work as a part time three-wheel driver after work to get an extra income to be a strength to my family. Support that you can provide would be greatly appreciated, and it would mean the world to my family during this challenging time.

Drowning in Medical Bills (Stage 4 Colon & Liver Cancer), Loss of Income

My husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 Liver & Colon Cancer September 2023. We lost his income and have gotten a little help from Disability. Our lives spiraled out of control and beyond me working a full-time job and tutoring on the side, bills continue to pile up with no end in sight. I’m afraid one day our home will be taken from us and the collectors will take everything we have. As pathetic as this is, I want to thrive and not be stressed with the time I have left with my husband. We have been together since 1997 and I cannot honestly think about losing him. My stress should be on what we can do together and not how to live day in and day out. We’ve sold items in our home, but it just never seems to be enough. As a Christian, prayer has really helped lead us into a life of gratitude. But being able to thrive would feel so much better than just being able to survive at this point. He deserves better and our family does too. My daughter is 17 and is waiting to do all the things a senior does in her final year of high school. The idea of losing her dad is too big. Any help would be appreciated. Sharing our story, providing a donation, and prayers are all welcome and appreciated. The world was created for us to stand alongside others in the best and worst of days.

Medical Bills are Paralyzing Our Wellbeing

Hello world.  I am a husband and father of three wonderful children that needs some help to get above water.  I am a hardworking man who works full time and have since I was a kid and do make decent money, but our medical needs have recently outweighed our ability to get caught up with all of our other bills.  Due to a rare ortho disease called Spondometaphyseal Displasia I received clearance and approval from my Orthopedic doctor to receive both hip replacements, both knee replacements, a shoulder replacement, and Hernia surgery (yes, all those joints are unrepairable and in horrible condition) which causes severe daily pain that I push through daily to support my family to the best of my ability.

Unfortunately, I have also passed this condition on to my son (my 2 daughters have a very clean bill of health) who just had his 4th surgery at age 9 already.  He recently had a new plate put in his right knee 3 months ago and has one already one in his left knee that he received when he had his neck surgery 1.5 years ago.   His road will be long and hard but he’s very strong and we will always do whatever is necessary to get him the best care possible.

My wife also has T1D that she was diagnosed with at age 7 which has made it almost impossible for her to have a job, so she does the seemingly impossible task of being a stay-at-home mother.  She struggles with having the medical supplies she consistently needs due to the overpriced medical supply industry, but we do whatever we can to get her the best CGM and Insulin delivery device we can to make her life as less painful as possible.  As with most Type 1 Diabetics, she fights many other side effects such as eyesight deficiencies, poor circulation, tendonitis, irregular metabolism to name just a few.  She is currently holding off getting cartilage repaired in her lumbar due to the fear of more medical bills.

Paying for health insurance for a family of 5, even with an employee discount, is roughly 600/month.  Then add in co-pays for doctors’ visits (seems like me my wife and son all regularly have 1-2 a month), prescription costs for pain management just to function in everyday life, my wife’s T1D supplies, and any racked up previous bills from procedures, x-rays, MRI’s, Surgeries, and assistive medical devices like braces for my son, CGM and PDM for my wife etc.. we have unfortunately fallen far behind which has the interest and late fees eating us alive and fighting just to make basic ends meet monthly with zero emergency savings at all.

I am praying that there is someone out there that has the ability to share even just a little as everything right now is a help.  The stress and burden of being delinquent and always behind has unfortunately detreated both mine and my wife’s health even further.  With over 15k in past due medical bills, late utility and car bills, one active garnishment, and the need for the plethora of joint replacements, we are drowning in interest fees and late fees that are literally eating up any extra money to put away or use to catch up and could really use a lifeline to get our heads above water again.

Our family is very kind, companionate, active in our community, and are not willing to break the rules either legally or ethically to make ends meet but are exhausted with fighting off creditors on a weekly basis so a helping hand would create such relief both mentally and physically.  If you read to hear I really appreciate your time in hearing my story.  I hope you have a great day.

Be Well!

Not married, no girl friend and causing my parents deathly levels of stress.

Charles Benedict IV

my paypal.me is “passingitforward”

Hi, my name is Charles. Around five years ago I developed a heart condition called Cardiomyopathy which hospitalize me and after two plus weeks in the hospital the Doctors started talking about send me home on hospice and I was basically going to die.  After many tears myself and my family shed,  I miraculously recovered at least not to pass away yet. Was called a walking miracle thank God.  At this point, without income thing began to decline. I became such a burden on the whole family.  When I was strong enough I began studying online for opportunities.  I came across KingdomDayTraders.com.  A community set out to help 10,000 people learn how to trade and become financially free.  That amazed me and instilled that same mentality in me to eventually be able to pass it on and help as many as I could.  I spent 2 almost 3 year studying and learn from the growing community of trader’s.  I don’t have anything and have totally exhausted my family.  I ask from the heart, that only has 15% ejection fraction, to donate anything your might be able to spare.  Without capital it could take a long time to make a difference.  I want to give back and help 10,000 people as well but before that pay hospital bills in collections and pay my family back.  Then give them a very special retirement and find the right Doctor to help my mother.  Information I left out.  Thank you for reading all the way through and no matter what, a donation or just a prayer I am extremely great full.  Also if you like investing, check out the investing community I was blessed to find.

Thank you so so very much,

Charles Benedict IV

Help Me Recover from MRSA and Job Loss: Your Support Can Make a Difference

Help Me Recover from MRSA and Job Loss: Your Support Can Make a Difference:

https://paypal.me/kentonstreet?country.x=US&locale.x=en_US

Dear Friends and Supporters,

I am reaching out today in the midst of one of the most challenging times of my life. Recently, I was diagnosed with a severe and painful case of MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus). This bacterial infection has not only taken a toll on my health but also significantly impacted my ability to maintain a steady income. To make matters worse, I was hit with the unexpected loss of my job just as my medical expenses began to skyrocket.

The financial burden of battling MRSA has been overwhelming. The treatments are expensive, involving specialized antibiotics, regular doctor visits, and sometimes hospital stays. This type of infection requires constant care, and without the security of a steady income, I am struggling to keep up with the mounting medical bills. The combination of losing my health and my job at the same time has left me in a vulnerable position, and I find myself needing to ask for help.

That’s why I’m turning to you, my friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters. I’ve set up a fundraising page to help cover my medical expenses, and I’m humbly asking for any donations you might be able to offer. Whether it’s $5, $10, or more, every bit helps and goes directly toward covering the costs of my treatment, prescriptions, and daily living expenses as I work toward recovery.

Your generosity will allow me to focus on healing without the constant worry of how I’ll manage to pay for the care I need. It’s hard to express how much your support means to me during this difficult time, but please know that every contribution brings me closer to regaining my health and stability.

I understand that not everyone is in a position to give, and that’s okay. Sharing my story with others who may be able to help would also mean the world to me.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering supporting me. With your help, I believe I can overcome these hardships and get back on my feet.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Be A Hero Today

paypal.me/LynnLovebug

I am reaching out today to ask for your help with my medical bills. At 63 years old, I have dedicated the past 18 years of my life to working for a company that, unfortunately, does not provide health insurance. Despite my commitment and hard work, I find myself in a difficult position where I am unable to cover the costs of necessary medical treatments. As we age, health issues become more prevalent and managing them without adequate insurance is incredibly challenging. The financial burden of medical expenses has become overwhelming, and I am struggling to keep up with the costs of doctor visits, medications, and treatments that are essential for my well-being.

Throughout my career, I have always been a dedicated and reliable employee, but the lack of health insurance has left me vulnerable. I have tried to manage my health expenses on my own, but the costs have escalated beyond my means. I am now facing a situation where I must choose between paying for my medical needs and covering other essential living expenses. This is a choice no one should have to make, especially after years of hard work and dedication.

I am humbly asking for your support to help me cover these medical expenses. Your generosity will make a significant difference in my life, allowing me to receive the care I need without the constant worry of financial strain. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help me manage my health and improve my quality of life. I am deeply grateful for any assistance you can provide and appreciate your kindness and compassion during this challenging time. Thank you for considering my request and for your support.

Desperately Trying to Stay Alive.

Hi. I don’t know if submitting this is a dumb thing to do, but I am at a rock bottom of sorts and am looking everywhere for help.

My name is Katie. I am 31 years old, and I am late-diagnosed Autistic and ADHD. I have PTSD and CPTSD. I also have Persistent Depressive Disorder, and have recently been experiencing increasing migraines, arm and head tremors, and peripheral neuropathy. I do not have insurance. My mother is bedridden with a neurological condition that was never diagnosed, and I fear that it may be hereditary. She is married to someone that can afford all of the bills, but I am not. I cannot afford to be sick, let alone bedridden. I am nowhere near that condition now, but I have the beginnings of what she went through, and I am terrified.

I was raised to be a people-pleaser. Most of the decisions I have made in my life, up until the past year, have been to make other people “proud”. This has caused me to be on a career path that is not mine. I was once in a doctoral school program and was on track to make significant amounts of money, but as the years went on (and the pandemic quarantine made me realize how much I was masking and living in constant fight-or-flight), my tolerance for overstimulation and social interaction decreased significantly, and I could no longer hide my conditions. I have been hospitalized for suicidal ideation before, and I was sure that I was going to stop existing if I continued this school program. I wasn’t doing it for me. It didn’t make me comfortable. I didn’t have any peace. It was nothing but chaos and fear for me, and I was spiraling deeper and deeper.

I made the very high-stakes decision to leave the program last fall. This gave me so much fear, but also a large amount of self-respect. I was finally doing something for myself. I moved to a new state with my current partner in hopes that I could forget my old life and start fresh. I had to start a job in a related field because it was all that I had on my resume. As expected, I could not stay in that job for more than a couple months, and as soon as I found the opportunity to try something new, I left. It felt wonderful to try a new genre of work. I was in an artistic manufacturing job. I was moving my body every day, healing the stress-related inflammation in my body that had built up over the past years. I was coming home happy and still had the energy to work on art, go outside, keep my space clean, and practice self-care.

And then the fucking migraines started.

I was unable to work 40 hours a week. I had to miss at least one day per week because of these migraines. Because of the physical nature of the job, there was nothing alternative that I could do to still make money for that day. I used to get migraines maybe 5 times a year, and suddenly I was getting them every other day. They are debilitating. I cannot see properly, parts of my face and limbs go numb, and I have brain fog that makes it unsafe to drive. My arm tremor comes and goes, which makes fine motor skills difficult. And because of the lack of hours, I was unable to afford the benefit package offered by the business. I lost my health insurance.

My partner sat down with me and told me that I should quit my job. That he could work overtime while I find something that is less physically tasking. He specifically suggested remote work. We were financially suffering already because I was no longer able to work 40 hours a week, and I was scared to do this, but I did. I listened to him, and I quit. I made him promise over and over that this was actually okay with him, and that the overtime would be manageable while I tried to find, optimally, a remote job. A job that I could hopefully still perform with a migraine. I emphasized that it’s so hard to land a remote job with how saturated the market is, how many fake jobs are posted. And he insisted. So I quit.

I was approved for food stamps, but I was denied Medicaid, and was told I am being forced to wait until the enrollment period to qualify for Marketplace insurance plans. So I still have no health insurance.

It has been about five weeks since I quit. Since then, I have applied to over 90 jobs. I have received a response from less than five, and they have all ghosted me since. I have made fan art for these companies. Follow-up emails. Follow-up messages on job apps. Messages to recruitment staff on LinkedIn. Phone calls with recruiters in the area. Phone calls to HR departments. DMs to companies’ Instagrams. I am trying to change my career path, with a resume that only reflects parts of what they’re looking for, in a remote setting with high competition. I am trying So. Fucking. Hard. And the other day, my partner informed me that he “doesn’t want to leave, but that he may have to” because he can’t keep “going from crisis to crisis”.

In less than a year’s time, I have faced deep depression and suicidal ideation, changed my life track, gained happiness and peace, started showing signs of an unknown debilitating neurological illness, and lost almost everything. In the midst of beginning a new season of my life, I have been halted. And the only person that I know in this new state may be leaving me. I am accruing significant credit card debt to keep paying parts of my bills that my partner cannot cover. He is burnt out and miserable from working overtime to cover our rent. This house is not home for either of us, and it is starting to get toxic. I feel so stuck, and my soul is tired, and things feel so very bleak from top to bottom.

Money doesn’t solve everything, but god damn if it wouldn’t help me right now. I have seen a neurologist out-of-pocket, and they are holding off on important testing because I cannot afford it. I have been put on archaic, old medications because they are in my price range, and I am suffering greatly from their side effects. I am still having migraines multiple times a week. I am trying to make and sell jewelry and sell some of my photography for bits of money here and there, but it is so exhausting to function and survive right now that I am not succeeding in anything consistently. I have a phone interview today for a job, and I am hoping so much that they call me back afterwards. Please. I need an out. Please.

If you can help financially, my PayPal is paypal.me/karolinakat. If you have any referring power for a remote job, I have past experience in Prior Authorization and appeal submissions for Ophthalmology patients. I am very good with technology, a very fast typer and quick learner, and I am passionate about helping people. I have very good phone etiquette, and a lot of experience helping people through scary medical situations.

If I can get a full-time job with benefits, I can start to piece everything back together. I just cannot get an in-person job with my current health conditions. I will not be able to show up like they need me to. Hopefully in the future, after I get proper treatment, I will be able to get an in-person job again. But with the condition that my mom is in, I don’t truly know. I need to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

I just want to be my own person. I really, really hope that I didn’t waste my entire functional life trying to appease others. I really hope that I didn’t make this realization too late. I want to flourish as myself. I want to be at peace. I want to live, even if my mental illness tells me I want to die.

With gratitude, please help me pay off my medical debt. Anything helps!

Anyone who donates I will be sending thoughts of gratitude and positive affirmations your way.

This year has been a struggle with my health and needing to go on unemployment for the first time in my life and then EI ran out. It has put me behind on my bills and cost me a lot in extra medical expenses I did not plan for.

I am on slowly on the mend now but I do not see a path for me to get out of the financial mess with my current job. If you can donate even the smallest amount I would greatly appreciate it. Every little bit counts and I will be eternally grateful.

As soon as I am out of debt, I will be paying it forward and helping others out. How amazing is it that we have the ability to help each other so easily? Thanks to all the supporters out there that are continually helping strangers, it’s a beautiful thing.

Assistance Required for Medical Bills: Stroke Survivor in Need

I hope this message finds you well. My name is kh cyril], and I am reaching out to you today with a humble request for support. In 2017, my life took an unexpected turn when I suffered a stroke that left me with significant physical and financial challenges. Since then, I have been on a journey of recovery, but it has been a long and difficult road.

The stroke impacted my ability to work, and as a result, I have been struggling to cover the costs of my essential medical needs. Each month, I require approximately $300 to pay for necessary medications, doctor consultations, and rehabilitation therapy. Unfortunately, without a steady income, it has become increasingly difficult to keep up with these expenses, and I am now reaching out to the kindness of others for help.

The funds raised will go directly toward ensuring that I can continue my treatment and rehabilitation. Specifically, the $300 a month will cover:

  1. Medications: After the stroke, I have been prescribed several medications to manage my health and prevent future complications. These medications are vital for my well-being, but they are also costly.
  2. Doctor Consultations: Regular visits to my doctor are essential to monitor my progress and adjust my treatment plan as needed. These consultations ensure that I am on the right track with my recovery, but the fees can add up quickly.
  3. Rehabilitation Therapy: Physical therapy has been a crucial part of my recovery process. It helps me regain strength and mobility, allowing me to work toward a more independent life. However, rehabilitation sessions are expensive, and I need ongoing therapy to continue making progress.

Your support, no matter how small, would make a tremendous difference in my life. By contributing to this fundraiser, you will help me access the medical care and rehabilitation I need to continue my recovery. Every donation brings me one step closer to regaining my health and independence.

If you are unable to donate, I completely understand. However, you can still help by sharing this message with your friends, family, and social networks. Spreading the word can have a powerful impact and help me reach more people who may be able to assist.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your generosity and kindness mean the world to me. Together, we can overcome this challenge and work toward a brighter future.

With heartfelt gratitude,
[khcyril

Help mom Joan’s Caregiver in needed support

Support for a Caregiver

I’ve been a caregiver for my mom Joan and my brother Mike (my brother has a disability, which he’s struggled with for over a decade now) for several years, which has been financially straining.

Our mom, Joan, was hospitalized just after Christmas 2021 with Heart Failure and spent two months at Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Since she’s been home she’s been on oxygen via a machine, on and off, since Feb. 2022. Mom experiences chronic dizziness, difficulty in breathing, and generalized weakness, which keeps her bed ridden often.

Neither one of them, especially our mom, can drive. I drive mom to several medical appointments on a regular basis including to the Memorial West Hospital Heart Center, her general doctor appt’s, dental appt’s, and to Labcorp (located inside of a local Walgreens) for numerous blood draws for Metabolic blood panels and many more types of tests.

I pick up both mom and Mikes meds at the pharmacy regularly. Food shopping, laundry, daily meals, are provided by myself financially. I take mom’s vitals signs (Blood pressure, pulse oximeter to measure her blood oxygen level, her pulse, etc. I’ve struggled financially in the past four years to keep up with being a caregiver for two immediate family members whom I love dearly, especially since I myself was hospitalized in late 2019/early 2020 with serious medical problems. It’s overwhelming sometimes. I’m not one to ever ask for help, but any financial help will be so much appreciated! Love you all, Marc

Scoliosis Corrective Treatment

Greetings,

I hope this message finds you well. I have recently been diagnosed with scoliosis. I noticed progressively more pain and difficulty with movement over the past year – causing me to finally go see a chiropractor this week. He sent me to a radiologist and diagnosed me after seeing my x-rays.

The doctor is a scoliosis specialist that has a great reputation for correcting spinal issues. He makes a customized apparatus to help patients realign and correct the issues throughout the spine, in addition to intensive physical therapy. My challenge is that the treatment costs $8,000 for the treatment of 20 2-hour sessions, corrective supplies and other materials. I recently completed some construction on my home and cannot afford the $8,000 treatment. I’m usually very responsible, but my savings has been depleted by a series of emergencies. Any assistance, even if it isn’t the full amount would be so greatly appreciated. I’m a pretty active person and being able to have full range of my body is so important to me. I really want to feel healthy again. My Cashapp cashtag is: $VWalk4 Thank you.

SEEKING FINANCIAL HELP AFTER A STROKE

Hello, my name is Francisca, and I’m reaching out today because life has taken a sudden and unexpected turn for me. At just 39 years old, I suffered a stroke that has changed my life dramatically. The physical, emotional, and financial burdens have been overwhelming, and I am humbly asking for your support to help me through this challenging time.

Before the stroke, I was an active person, doing my best to provide for myself and my loved ones. However, the stroke has left me unable to work, and the medical bills, along with daily living expenses, are piling up faster than I can manage. I’ve exhausted all other means of assistance, and now I am turning to the kindness of strangers for help.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will go a long way toward helping me with medical treatments, rehabilitation, and basic living expenses while I work toward recovery. I believe in the power of community and generosity, and I hope that by sharing my story, I can find some relief during this difficult period.

If you are able to assist me, please know that your kindness will make a world of difference in my life. I am truly grateful for your time and any help you can offer.

Thank you for reading my story, and may life bring you blessings in abundance.

“Help a poor human to rescue life”

Hello and thank you in advance for taking the time to read this.

Many of you graciously continue to ask how you can help. I write the letter for that very purpose. This is the time to come together and make some dreams come true for Sherly.

My name is Lalanne Sherly, you can call me Sherly

The outpouring of support for Sherly since his cancer diagnosis in 2018 has meant the world to his family. Over the past six years, Sherly has endured many surgeries, difficult procedures, and months of chemotherapy, fighting like a warrior every step of the way. Thank you for all your support.

As many of you know, I can no longer afford to pay my rent of 1500 dollars where I have three boys 7, 8 and 12, and I’m looking to move out.

However, the vehicle that I was driving, a 2005 Chevy with 300,000 miles on it, finally went to rest in the parking lot, need a lot of money to repair the car. My other car is an 2014 dodge Journey that needed a new engine. I got jerked around by two mechanics who said they would repair it and ended up not repairing it and dumping it back in my driveway, after I paid 3000 dollars. It costs money to buy a new car. The amount I need is 100,000.00 dollars and the deadline is September 20

I realize this is a big to ask in these tough times. Anything you can give would be so gratefully appreciated and I will do my best to pay forward my blessings as I am able. I extend heartfelt gratitude to the caring donors who aid my journey. Thank you for making a difference in my life. If you would like to help ease me and my family’s financial burden, any donation would be greatly appreciated.
