U.S. Federal Government Worker Needing Financial Help

Good Day,

I am reaching out with a humble and heartfelt request for financial assistance during a time of significant hardship for my family.

I am a U.S. federal employee who has been furloughed due to the government’s lapse in appropriations. Until recently, my income was the primary financial support for our household, as my wife has been out of work since June after being wrongfully terminated from her job. She is still waiting for unemployment benefits, and despite her ongoing efforts to resolve the matter, those resources have yet to come through.

Since June, we have been working tirelessly to stay afloat. We depleted our savings to cover our essential living expenses and have now run out of funds. With my recent furlough and the loss of income on both ends, we are severely behind on our mortgage, utility bills, credit card payments, and student loans. We’ve recently had to apply for food assistance and, without support, we are less than 30 days away from being unable to meet our basic financial obligations.

My wife is currently in her final year of a Master of Social Work (MSW) program and is set to graduate in May. She is committed to becoming a trauma therapist and making a meaningful impact in our community. We are both working hard to weather this storm, but the challenges have become too great to manage on our own.

We are seeking $50,000 in assistance to help cover our living expenses, keep a roof over our heads, and avoid defaulting on our financial obligations until my wife graduates and we are back on stable financial ground. This support would carry us through the coming months and give us the opportunity to recover, rebuild, and continue contributing to our community and country.

This request is not made lightly. We are determined to get back on our feet, and any assistance you can offer would make a life-changing difference for us.

Thank you for your time, consideration, and compassion.

Very Respectfully,

Hard working individuals who need to catch a break

Help with what you can – $100, $300, $500

Help with whatever you can. $100, $300, $500. Actual in need of $5000, but at this point any amount will help me out in someway!

I’ve been working as a freelancer in the media industry for the past five years. While the journey has had its rewarding moments, it’s also been incredibly difficult. The work is inconsistent, and staying competitive requires constant investment in tools, software, and training.

Despite my best efforts, I’ve fallen behind financially. The irregular income and rising expenses have left me with mounting debts, overdue bills, and growing stress that’s begun to affect my mental well-being.

I’m urgently seeking $5,000 to catch up on loans, pay off pressing bills, and stabilize my situation. This support would give me the breathing room I need to focus on finding consistent work and rebuilding my freelance career with clarity and confidence.

If you’re able to help even with a small contribution of $100-$300 it would mean the world to me. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering support during this tough time.

Family Trying to not Sink.

Hello all, I am a Father to two kids and a husband to my wonderful wife. In the past few months my family has gone through one rough situation to another. In July my two kids and wife were in a car accident. When I arrived on scene the SUV’s trunk was towards the back seat, the whole left side had damage as well as the front left caved in. My wife was smart enough to see the crash coming and turn the wheel so that she didn’t get smooched between the two cars. If she had not I may not of had a wife anymore. All airbags were deployed and after reading at what speed my cars airbags deploy I was shocked. The impact speed needed to be around 45 mph. My daughter and wife have been getting treatment since the accident. Before that I was hit with a garnishment from something more than 10 years old. Finally in August my father was diagnosed with colon cancer. Between the time off work, adding my new car payment and the loans that I had to do in order to stay afloat I am looking at loosing my car, being evicted and now my job is giving me trouble with the amount of time I have been taking off to help my family.

In all of this I have racked up around $10,000 of debt that I can not catch up with. I have tried debt consolidation loans and personal loans with no success due to my recent credit score drop. AI has denied me time after time and so here I am. My family is from humble origins and can not help me. If anyone could help that I would be very appreciative. Anything will help. My goal is $10,000. Thank you all for looking and reading this far and I wish you a very happy day!

Need Help to Get Back on Track Financially ASAP before I lose my House

This year has been an extremely hard year getting hit again and again with bills that I don’t normally have and I can’t get ahead and my house is now in foreclosure. I took out several predatory lending loans with outrageous pay back amounts just to stay afloat to now, but I have hit the brick wall with only $15 in my account and over $50,000 in debt to pay.

I work on base plus commissions, with 80% of my income coming from my commissions, but I only get paid commissions once a quarter. So to stay ahead of everything I have to have three months of money in the bank to make it from commission check to commission check.

In January I helped my 78 year old mother who had to retire due to two major eye surgeries and lives with me with $33,000 in medical bills and completely wiped out my savings. My commissions in April and July were short by thousands of dollars because of projects shifting out. I have approached my employer about getting paid commissions monthly, being transparent about my situation, but they will not change it. So I will not have any commissions now until January and my weekly pay falls short of covering everything by $15,000 a month.

I also just spent $4,500 getting a timing chain replaced in my vehicle and only had the car back 30 days when a valve spring broke, dropped a value into the cylinder and punched a hole in the engine. So now I need an entire engine replaced.  The shop that did the work will not take responsibility and wanted to charge me $8,000 for a new engine. My son can put in the engine for me, but used engines are running around $3,000 that I also do not have.

I just cannot catch a break to get ahead of this. I can’t get approved for a normal terms loan to consolidate everything, and just looking for that miracle to be able to get all of this paid and behind me.

Abrupt terminal diagnosis given. Please help my family!

Thank you in advance to anyone who is willing to read about and or give funds towards our immediate needs.

On September 27th, 2025, our daddy was rushed to the ER and 3 days later was given a terminal diagnosis.

This date is very significant because it marked a year since hurricane Helene ripped through and devastated our beautiful North Carolina mountains that we call home. The hurricane left many of us without any resources and no monetary help at all. We applied for anything that we could and we are so incredibly grateful to all the organizations that provided food, potable water and supplies during that incredibly hard time. We spent a year scraping by and trying to get back to a somewhat normal and humble life. We live paycheck to paycheck and a disaster of this magnitude had already financially bankrupted us.

Fast forward to this year…Daddy had a very tedious heart surgery in February. He made it through and recovered pretty well. I had to take time off of work to be there for them as they are disabled and momma doesn’t drive. My PTO and vacation days were burned through by March.

Daddy, momma and I were watching tv in the living room on September 27th when he decided to go to the bedroom. He stumbled down the hall and we were concerned about him because of his heart issues. I got up and took him to the room and helped him lay down. However, when he laid down, he was completely deprived of oxygen. I had to help him sit up and told him I was taking him to the hospital.

When we arrived at the ER they immediately took him in and started testing various preliminary things. 3 days later we were told he had terminal lung cancer. 2 days after that the oncologist called us into his office and had a very very hard conversation with us. The lung cancer had spread to his liver, colon and esophagus.

We are completely heartbroken and along with the stress of this terminal diagnosis comes the financial stress of not having any funds to back my time off of work or the work that needs to be done to the car to get us back and forth to the hospital.

We rent a home that we have been in for years and are in jeopardy of losing it in the next couple of weeks due to the inability to pay. We don’t have any other assets to sell, our loan options are exhausted and there is no more savings since it took the little of what we had last year to survive after the hurricane ripped through Asheville. In addition to almost becoming homeless, our car is in great need of getting fixed. The breaks are not good and the transmission is slipping.

We need to be with daddy as much as possible as they say he may only have days to maybe a couple of weeks to live. I have filed for FMLA to keep my position at work but as I stated I have no more paid time off to take since daddy’s heart surgery in February.

As the sole provider of our little family, I am begging with everything I have in me that people will find it in their hearts to help us. I have never been more desperate in my life. We live a very humble life and we don’t require much, but we do need our home and a vehicle.

We are trying to deal with this horrific news of daddy’s terminal diagnosis and I just want momma and myself to be by his side in his last days.

We are grateful for anything you are able or willing to contribute to help ease our time of pain and heartache. The home and car costs will run about 7,000 to get to where we won’t have to worry and can get the car fixed. However, anything at all will be so very much appreciated.

I have tears running down my face as I am typing this, knowing how much my family has gone through. The 3 of us have always been a team and now we are rapidly losing our rock. Nobody should have to go through this and also worry about food, shelter and transportation.

Thank you so much for reading and if you feel led to pray for us, we would appreciate that as well.

Help me please last Hope

In a difficult divorce since 2021 after twenty-two years of marriage, involving violence, I find myself facing a particularly challenging situation. My ex-husband has maintained secret relationships within his professional circle, which prompted me to file for divorce. We have children together, and he developed violent behavior after our marriage. He has mistreated and humiliated me daily in front of our children for 22 years. Currently, despite a restraining order, he comes to my home to scream and hurl insults, creating a toxic atmosphere that worries our neighbors and frightens our children. The regular presence of law enforcement due to his actions further exacerbates the situation. All of this coincides with the date of the court judgment, which he has well-prepared for, surrounding himself with people to assert that he is right, driving me to madness. He comes to my home, hits me, insults me, and I am perceived as the crazy one. Despite his violence and alcoholism, he has managed to obtain custody of the children while I am in a rehabilitation center, allowing him to take control of the situation.

Since 2021, I have endured difficult exchanges regarding our children, and complaints have been filed for violence at my home. My ex-husband has stolen money from me and lied to the Family Allowance Fund to receive benefits, portraying me as a fraud. He seeks to belittle me and takes advantage of every situation. Three of my children, who are of age to decide, have been living with me since 2024, but I no longer receive assistance from the CAF due to overpayment debts, complicating my financial situation. Although I work, my income is insufficient to meet the needs of my three children who live with me full-time, as well as my four other children who are with me every other week and during half of the holidays.

I am facing accumulated bills and debts amounting to €18,000, putting me at risk of losing my home and my children. My ex-husband exploits this situation and makes it known to the children, manipulating them to his advantage. I feel threatened for my life. I am desperately seeking a solution to obtain a full salary. I am juggling small online jobs, but I am exhausted and struggling to get by. My only wish is to work to support myself and my children, but there are times when I find myself without food for several days.

I have created a debt file, but some assistance has been denied. I am banned from banking, and my lawyer does not support me; I have not heard from him in three years. I am seeking help to cover my rent, food, and gas to work so that I can provide my children with a roof over their heads and food, and get them away from their father. In 2024, the children’s judge lifted the placement and encouraged me to show courage, suggesting that I might have a very different judgment. However, I must wait for the family court judge’s decision, which is expected in three months. Regrets do not repair anything.

Between €350 and €670 in salary (on the 15th of the month), plus more work due to fuel costs. My monthly expenses amount to €735 in rent, €280 for electricity, and €5.99 for my mobile plan. I currently have no car insurance because I cannot afford to pay for it. I have €70 per month for food vouchers for my children. I no longer live at all; I feel like a broken toy. I want to get my children back who are crying for me. It is imperative that I get back on my feet and prove that I am not an insignificant person. He claims that I would be nothing without him, but that is false; he has plunged me into debt. In a mental destruction. However, I am still alive and I want to fight for my children.

I urgently need to pay rent, feed myself, and have transportation to work. I kindly ask for your help. The court will be held on January 13, and I need to change lawyers because he is not acting on my behalf. I have a social worker from the department since the end of August, who advised me to seek help. I feel a great shame.

If you wish to bring a little light and help us rebuild, I would be deeply grateful. Four years of survival are exhausting. I miss my children, and they are not happy in the current situation.

Manipulation is destructive, and no one seems to notice. I am available to discuss or provide documents, photos, etc. I will ensure that you are informed of my progress thanks to your support.

Thank you for taking the time to read my message. May God bless you. I express my sincere gratitude.

Desperate to get the lights back on…

After months of constant unexpected expenses and the addition of my 83 year old mother with Alzheimers to our home, we have thousands of dollars in energy bills to cover.

I have tried payment arrangements, disconnections extensions, and local charities and nothing could stave off the inevitable…we are sitting in the dark.

I have 2 kids, my husband works full time but we are so far behind on everything we just cant catch our breath.

We need about $4500 to reconnect our power. I know its a lot, but I have asked everyone and every agency on the earth for help.

Any amount will help…thank you in advance.

Help Me Keep My Head Above Water in the Age of AI

Help Me Keep My Head Above Water in the

I never thought I’d find myself here writing this and asking for help. But I’ve reached a point where I feel like I’m drowning, not just in debt, but in the weight of everything life has thrown at me.

I’ve spent years fighting to stay strong, to keep pushing forward, to believe I could handle it all on my own. But the truth is… I’m exhausted. The debts have piled up higher than I can manage, and it’s become harder and harder to breathe under the pressure. Every day feels like I’m barely holding on financially, emotionally, and physically.

To make matters harder, the career I’ve spent my life building, one I’ve poured my heart and soul into, is being swallowed up by AI. Opportunities that once came from years of hard work and creativity are vanishing overnight. It’s heartbreaking to watch something you’ve dedicated your life to slowly disappear, and to realize that the world is changing faster than you can keep up with it.

My mom is getting older (84), and she’s been my anchor through everything. I want to be able to take care of her the way she’s always taken care of me and, most importantly, not have her worry in any way during these final years. But right now, I can’t even take care of myself the way I should. Watching her age while I struggle just to stay afloat has been one of the hardest parts of this journey.

I’m asking for help, not because I want pity, but because I still believe there’s a way out of this. I need a chance to be able to rebuild and finally get out from under the debt that’s been suffocating me so I can get my life in order.

My goal is $75,000 that will go toward paying off personal debts, stabilizing my finances, and creating the breathing room I need to recover my health, focus, and peace of mind. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to standing on solid ground again.

If you’ve ever felt like life knocked you down harder than you could handle then you know what it means to reach for help. I’m doing that now. And if you can help me, I’ll never forget it. I’ll use this second chance to rebuild my life, honor my mom, and keep fighting with the same heart that’s carried me this far.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, sharing, and caring.

Please help us get back on track in life

Dear Friends and Kind Strangers,

I am reaching out for your support during a challenging time for my family. My son, who is nonverbal autistic, requires around-the-clock care, which he receives from his dedicated father. As the sole provider for my family, I work full-time and often find myself working overtime to make ends meet. Despite my best efforts, we have fallen behind on bills, and the weight of our financial situation has become increasingly difficult to handle. Your generosity would not only help us catch up on our expenses but also alleviate a significant amount of stress, allowing us to focus more on our family’s needs. We need $2700 to help us catch up on medical bills, the electric bill and rent. Any contribution you can make would be deeply appreciated and would bring us one step closer to stability. Thank you for considering our situation.

Electric Upgrade for Occupancy

Hello, I’m working so hard to get my family back stable after a domestic issue that turned into a messy two yr divorce. After the harassment, stalking, manipulations and losing lots of belongings the divorce is finally complete. I’m trying to get my family back on track and stable as I’m the only one with a residence since a one br apartment was all we could get. We put together on two rent to own starter homes in an older area thinking we could live in them and rehab. That the projects would be a good redirect for our ptsd and anxiety. But the city is requesting we upgrade the electric on both ($2,700 ea) and the wood windows need to be replaced due to vandalism. If we could get assistance with any of this it would be greatly appreciated. We were supposed to move in July of this year. I’ve been paying rent/utilities in both places since May.

Also, this does not have to be a hand out. I can provide graphic design/project coordination assistance if needed.

Thank you for your time,

Shontel

This mama is treading water, and about to drown.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my story. I’m not one to ask for help like this, but I am quite literally out of options.

I am a mom of two great kids. For the last six months I have been trying to make ends meet on my own. I am blessed to have a roof over my head and a job I love, but disasters have piled up causing the bills to get behind. And the stress of trying to catch up is taking its toll.

My commuter car needs repaired. I was in a small accident that damaged the front end. No mechanical damage, but not legal to drive and I am forced to use my fuel uneconomic truck. Both my power and my phone are scheduled to be shut of  the 2nd of October for being 2 months behind, I am close to running out of propane to cook and with winter coming on, I need to fill the fuel oil tank for our furnace.

I have exhausted all the community programs around my area that I qualify for which weren’t many. So, I am out of options.

If I could be blessed with around $7,500, I could cover everything and finally breath a sigh of relief.

Thank you again for reading my story and please have a blessed day.

Life is pretty broken for us right now and we just need a break!

Hello all, my name is Michael, and I live with my spouse Tina, and her father Norman, and we could really use a break. I keep a lot inside, and am normally adamant about not airing our personal lives over social media and the like; but at this point seeing no harm that can be done I thought I would give this a shot. So here it goes, and bare with me, I’m definetly no author by any means.

Now to start off with, all three of us have a myriad of serious health concerns, the primary being me having an enlarged right ventricle and chronic tendinitis in both arms. Tina has trigeminal neuralgia, epilepsy, and diabetes, as well as severe social anxietly and clinical manic depression. Norman suffers from depression, COPD which requires 24 hour oxygen, and dementia. So theres that.

Now after about a year and a half homeless from a wrongful eviction, the first six months being literally in a tent, being chased out by police for camping in the city, and the remainder in a shady southside motel in Edmonton Alberta Canada, we finally managed to secure a new home to live in.

The rent is expensive, 1500 dollars for a one bedroom one bathroom condo and we have to pay all utilites as well. Now Tina and myself only make 1475 a month combined income from long term disability, so just securing the place was a stuggle with the damage deposit and having to move all of our belongings in from storage. So we started off here already behind on things. Were having a tough time keeping up with things and I’m scared of what would happen if we actually lost our place. Norman is 72 years old and would definetly not make another winter living outside.

Now I’m not asking for millions or a future or anything of the sort, but like I said we could definetly use a break. Ideally, I’ve never got my full drivers lisence before and Tinas never even been out of Alberta so it would be nice to have a vehicle and be able to take her and Dad out to the mountains for a weekend or something and allow her to just have some time with her father to reconnect. I’m thinking thats all he might need to help kick him out of his dementia decline, and she might not have many chances for that left I’m sad to say.

Just to be able to have our heads above water without worrying how were going to pay the bills and where were going to eat next would totally change our collective state of mind and actually be happy for once. Just…happy.

So there it is, I know others have death at the door and have obviously more urgent and time sensitive needs, but it would mean the world to me and my family to have bills paid and maybe go somewhere and see some beautiful scenery or maybe fishing. I don’t know, anything. All I know is that my wife has the biggest heart I’ve encountered, and would, and has given the literal shirt off her back for others. I’m just hoping someone out there is able to do the same for her. Shes a beautiful woman, and she deserve it so much after all they have been through. Just hope someone can see that. If you’ve read this far, thanks even for that. And heres my paypal…

Emergency Help Needed

I am writing to request assistance with a devastating matter. My name is Tashayla Gonder and I am currently housed in a hotel. As a parent of two minor school aged children with another on the way, I am facing the possibility of homelessness due to the potential sale of my family’s home. My parents, who served the community as pastors for 40 years, have passed away, with my mother’s passing occurring recently on September 5th, 2025. I have been her primary caregiver for the past seven years, sacrificing my own well-being to ensure her comfort. Unfortunately, the family home had fallen into disrepair and had faced significant financial liabilities due to my mother’s declining health, death and my own personal challenges. A family member tried to help and has secured a $380,000. loan which addressed the back taxes, deplorable conditions damage, and necessary renovations. However, we are facing a critical deadline to repay this loan within 15 days to avoid the complete sale of the property. I am reaching out to seek assistance in this matter, as the LOSS of our family home would not only be emotionally devastating but also leave me & my children Homeless. Not Eligible For Long Term Disability

Hello and thank you to all who read and respond this post.

In late March of 2025 I came home from work one day and found I was
having difficulty walking and maintaining my balance. Both my Legs
felt rubbery and weak. A few days later I went the Emergency dept of
my local Hospital. Some members of the Neurological team came and did
some tests on my legs. After they were finished they said I would
have to be admitted to the Hospital for further testing. That was
April 23rd 2025. After I was admitted I had an MRI done. I was then
told that I would have to have NEUROSURGERY on my Neck to correct
problems with (2) of my Vertebrae and Discs. The Neurosurgery was
done on May 10, 2025. I spent a number of weeks in the Hospital
afterwards. My Neck and shoulders were VERY stiff and sore after the
operation. I was told then that my recovery could take up to
ONE YEAR. I have documents from the hospital stating this. I was
then transferred to a Rehab Hospital for (2) weeks for
Rehabilitation. On June 12, 2025 I returned home from the hospital.

After I returned home I applied for LONG TERM DISABILITY through my
employers benefit plan. About one month later I received an Email
from the Benefit Plan company stating that I AM NOT ELIGIBLE FOR
LONG TERM DISABILITY because I’m over 65 years old. The Employers
benefit plan does NOT have Short Term Disability.

My SICK BENEFITS from my Government Employment Insurance program will
soon RUN OUT IN EARLY OCTOBER of 2025. My recovery has been very slow
and I’m not fully recovered yet as of September 2025. I’m still
walking with a Cane and not able to go back to work

And so I’m ASKING FOR HELP to pay EXPENSES (RENT, GROCERIES,
UTILITIES, ECT) for the next number of months until I can return to
work. I am Renting and live alone and so I do not have a Spouse to
help out with expenses.

I’m also ASKING FOR HELP to meet the MONTHLY PAYMENTS for my (2) BIG
DEBTS I have been grappling with for years … OR ELSE be able to pay
them off. The (2) DEBTS total about $69,000 CAD. The Monthly payments
total about $720.

And lastly I’m also ASKING FOR HELP to replace my aging car of 2003.
The underside is now rusting out especially all along the runner
panels under the doors and under the rear trunk area. Repairs are
also becoming more frequent and costly. Last year I had to replace
the Transmission and Front Frame with repairs totaling $2,575
including Parts, Fluids and Labor.

I will appreciate any help, big or small.

Help can be sent to:
