We adopted and our raising our grandson

Our now 7 year old grandson came to us at 3 years old through DHS he had been on a drug deal with his birth father when his dad was shot, luckily someone found Preston and was able to get him help. The judge asked us if we would adopt him and after a long 3 years it was finalized ,we had to leave the area for safety reasons. We are having a harder time starting over then we had thought. We want to give Preston the world and a wonderful life full of love but we need financial help getting started. We were running a certified daycare before we moved and we are not able to do this at our new residence im caregiving and my husband is a construction worker who older and a bad back . We have always been hard workers and paid it forward when we could. I have always been a caregiver to children, sick or the elderly since I was 14. Never thought I would be in this position to ask for help but we wont beable to make rent in November at this rate. If it was just me and my husband we could make do but I dont want my grandson to know our struggles he has been through enough. Rent new tires for our car, and some grocery money to get us caught up as we will just keep plugging away and taking any jobs we can get rent is $2,100, tires $400  groceries $300 it cost us about $4,200 a month to live very strictly anything helps

Midterms and Registration deadline :/

I’m a student trying to keep my life together long enough to finish school, and everything’s hitting at once. I’m almost out of gas, behind on bills, and still trying to figure out how to pay for next semester while making it to midterms in San Marcos this week.

I’m working and doing what I can, but right now I’m tapped out. I don’t need much—just enough to keep my car running, get to class, and stay enrolled. I’ve come too far to fail over money.

If you can help, even a few dollars would mean more than you realize. Thank you for taking the time to read this—it honestly means a lot.

I’m just trying to make it through this midterms and stay in school my last semester and prove my family wrong. I’m struggling but I’m determined.  Anything helps.

Getting afloat to stay afloat

First I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my post. As the title implies I hope i’m not asking for much, due to cut backs and the shut down we have fallen into being due on our bills for several months and have a couple of disconnection notices. The savings i accrude have dried up long ago, and even as i work now the paycheck dissapears every week to these bills that i cant seem to catch up on, making it hard to even get the bare minimum in groceries. Ive added up how much it would take to catch up and it would take about $7000, I am not one to ask for a hand out but short of picking up 2 more jobs i thought id atleast give this site a shot, of coarse every little bit helps and every dime is appreciated. Life Improvement

I have worked hard my whole life, never having to ask for money. Always self-sufficient and proud of it. I never asked my boyfriend for money and have always been fiercely independent. For many decades I worked in a Church to help others. I have recently turned 65 years old. I am now in a different situation myself and need help for myself and my 89 years old mom.

I had been living with my boyfriend for 5 years in a home along with my mom as he originally invited her to live with us. She broke her hip a couple of years ago, got it fixed and just has not been the same since. In the last year she had a little fall but nothing broke but she could not get out of bed anymore. So she has been bedridden for about 10 months now.

The relationship with my boyfriend went really toxic – I had to move as it was also affecting my mom. Her condition aggravated an already on-the-brink relationship.

I did not qualify for a mortgage. I found a mobile home in a park that would work for my mom and I, nice and safe. I did not have money for this so I made an offer to the owner, she agreed. So far we have paid $53,000. I have been doing this since March 2025. I originally put $25,000 down, I borrowed what little money my mom had tucked away herself and then I scrounged up money I had been putting away for a rainy day. So any buffer I had between my mom and I were gone.

I have been struggling very hard each month to get this paid. My mom is on $600 a month social security.  I have $21,000 left to pay the home off and then I can start paying off my credit card debt (another $20,000) to really get rid of my stress.

The company I work at is an upstart and for the last year has not paid very much. I am now looking for other work which I will do. If it wasn’t for my return from the IRS, I would not have been able to make my October payment. I still have insurance, medical and other bills to pay. I had put myself under a credit card handling to condense my payments which is why I did not qualify for a mortgage.

This was an unexpected turn in my life as I had planned on staying with my boyfriend of 10 years the rest of my life. Since this was no longer an option, I had to move quickly to get my mom and I into a safe environment.

I have help from hospice coming in each day for my mom to help change and feed her.

All of this is very stressful and I am hoping to get a little bit of help here, whatever can be done.

If I could get any amount even $5000 or $10,000 for the next 2 payments, I could get the rest paid off working. I could then devote my monthly earned funds directly to my credit card debt and handle that on my own.

Help me and my dog live healty

Hello!

I never thought I would have to do something like this, but I’m at a loss.

Until the middle of last year, I had a pretty big casino addiction, which I fortunately overcame, but it has had serious consequences for my financial situation. During my addiction, I had taken out several loans, which I am still paying off. I was coping with everything successfully, until I started having health problems. Last year, I was diagnosed with POTS. Fortunately, I do not have this disease in a severe form, but while I was going for tests, I had to miss a lot of work, which of course again affected my financial situation. Also, all the tests were very expensive, but somehow I managed to cover almost all the costs. At that moment, it seemed that I would finally start to get back on my feet, but I was wrong, the next problems came. At the beginning of this year, I experienced anaphylactic shock. This time, all the tests were longer and more expensive. I had to take days off, use vacations and sick leaves very often to be able to find out what caused the anaphylactic shock and what else could cause it. Unfortunately, while doing all the tests, I experienced a second anaphylactic shock. Considering that I had anaphylactic shock from medications that I had been taking for several years, I have to carry Epi pen injections with me all the time, which, unfortunately, are not cheap.

I am currently in a situation where, due to illness, I have been very late with my loan payments. I am already threatened with account blocking, which I cannot allow, because I have to take care of my dog, who is currently fighting severe bronchitis, and I also need new Epi pen injections, because I am currently carrying expired injections with me.

To get back on the road, I need about $3,000. I would like to add that I live in a small and not very wealthy country, where the average salary is around 1400€ before taxes, but the prices are like in a big metropolis.

I would really, really appreciate any, even the smallest, help so that I can at least help my dog get better, because he is all I have. And I ASAP need new Epi pens, because mines are expired.

Thank you very much in advance if you at least read my story.

Can you bless me with your kindness? Urgent assistance for DV survivor needed.

Hello.  Thank you for reading about my situation.  I’ve always been told I am a good and kind person.  I try to be.  I have a big heart and I try to always help others.  While these are good qualities to have, they also can be bad when others take advantage of my kindness and I don’t see it happening.

I currently have two roommates in the home I rent and we share the cost of rent.  One roommate is moving out in 2 weeks without notice because of the toxic and abusive man in our home and I will be on the hook for her share of the rent.  My other roommate is a man I was in a relationship with who is emotionally, verbally and physically abusive who I want to get out of my home as soon as possible and I will need to cover his portion of the rent, as well.  He is terrorizing me on a daily basis and I am scared to be around him, but I am unable to afford my home without him, at the moment, without some help.  I took him into my home to help him and show him love as he has no family and he has not only taken advantage of my kindness, but also has caused me extreme emotional distress and even crippling anxiety and physical health difficulties that do not allow me to work as much as I have been able to in the past.

If you’ve read this far, maybe you will be willing to read a little further?  I am a single, widowed, 56-year-old Mom of a grown daughter and I am a hardworking, dedicated and proud human, so asking for help is not something that is comfortable for me.  I am a shell of the vivacious, happy and hopeful person I once was, but I want to bring myself out of this darkness with your help.  I had a successful business before my husband passed away, but I lost my business when I could not keep it going alone as a result of my current situation.  I work as a food delivery driver and personal shopper, but the work in this industry is slow right now and my health issues and needed car repairs have sidelined most of that work and I will soon not be able to afford the rent on my home I have lived in for over 25 years as well as basic necessities and food.  I continue to do everything I can to make ends meet, but I am coming up short.  I have taken on small jobs like dog sitting and anything I can do and I have reached out for help to local charities and churches and every organization that can offer help, but I have not received the help I need.  I am looking for new roommates, but that has not been successful to this point and is on-going.

I am here asking for any assistance you can offer as every dollar helps and is extremely appreciated.  I can assure you every dollar will go towards my rent, car repairs and getting me out of this bad place I am in and back to being my strong, self-sufficient self.  My rent is $2,000/mo which is extremely low for the area I live, so moving is not an option right now.  I am trying to get two to three months’ rent secured to give me time to get my car repaired and find new roommates and give myself some chance to heal physically and mentally.  Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity and I am so grateful for your help.  If you are able to help me, even in the smallest way, here are the ways you can bless me with your kindness:

Need help with taking care of my kids with unexplained health problems and missing work

Hi,

first of all, I would like to say thank you for taking the time to read this. I am a single mom to two kids, who just got diagnosed with POTS. It is a heart condition/form of dysautonomia. I bave actively been working during this time, but it has cut my time down from 45 to 15 hour weeks most weeks due to heart rate elevation. After insurance and other cost (my special needs child has many needs that have to be addressed on a daily basis as he cannot live without them), I am bringing home $50 a week, and I am at the point of hoping and praying there is someone out there willing to help me. Im behind on rent, living off of credit cards, and behind on my car. This is honestly my first time ever reaching out for this, so If you took the time to read this, thank you. If you can donate, I cant tell you how much I would appreciate it. Anything helps.

New financial beginning

I have always figured myself to be a smart decision maker and someone  who works hard to get themselves out of difficult situations. Upon further reflection I am not as financially savvy as I have hoped . Through out the last 6 years I have managed to accumulate at total of 36,000 in debt . I am still working hard to pay this off but it is not being  worked off  as I expected. I pray someone has it in their heart to give financial support to which I can pay it forward some day hopefully sooner rather then later . I do have a family I support and will continue to support

I Need Help To Replace My Truck That Was Stolen And Stripped Bare

Hi, I need about $10,000 to replace my truck, which was recently stolen and stripped bare. I am a retired nurse; I left nursing post-Covid after getting sick for 18 months with “long Covid.” During this time I used up all of my savings and retirement money. I am living with my cousin and helping her to take care of her disabled 6-year-old son and her 22-month-old daughter. I need my own transportation to take the baby to daycare and other activities, and the little boy requires frequent trips to the hospital and doctor’s appointments. I don’t earn very much, and I need help to buy a car. Thank you all in advance for your generosity.

After Years of Caregiving, I’m Alone, Broke, and Fighting for My Future

My name is Maksim. I was born in Russia under circumstances no child should ever face. My mother was mentally ill. My father was just a teenager. They never married. He disappeared. I was raised by my grandparents—the only people who ever truly loved me.

When we came to America, I tried to build a life. I graduated college. I worked hard. I stayed out of trouble. But when my grandparents grew old, I gave up everything to care for them. No hesitation. No complaints. For four years, I was their full-time caregiver.

I cooked. I cleaned. I drove them to appointments. I stayed up through the night when they were sick. I did it all out of love. I never asked for anything. What I didn’t know was that my aunts had secretly enrolled them in homecare services and were collecting thousands of dollars—for the work I was doing. I never saw a cent.
After they passed, I moved into a small apartment with my mother, who still battles schizophrenia. I was finally approved for a government caregiver program—but only for 16 hours every two weeks. Meanwhile, my aunt had been receiving 120 hours per month for my mother alone. She knew I was doing everything. She never offered a dime.

The one time I asked her for $120 to help cover the internet and phone bill, she said, “I can’t carry two families.” As if I was asking for the world. She made me feel guilty for even asking—while quietly collecting $2,000 a month for the care I was providing every single day. I’ve lost sleep trying to understand what she has against me. I know it’s about money. But this level of heartlessness? It’s beyond me.

What hurts most is that she’s the same person who’s called on me for help countless times. And every time, I dropped everything to be there. No hesitation. No resentment. Just love. But now I see it for what it is—manipulation. I was being used. And when I needed even the smallest bit of support, I was made to feel like a burden.

Then came the moment that shattered me. My mother had an episode while I was out. The police were called. She was hospitalized. My aunt—who holds power of attorney—took her away. Just like that. The only person I had left in this world—gone. I was left alone in an apartment approved under my mother’s Section 8 housing. I was listed as her live-in caregiver. Now I’m unemployed, two months behind on rent, and my car was repossessed.

I had just started receiving caregiver pay—two checks, finally, after years of doing everything. And then, out of nowhere, my mother had an episode. It wasn’t new. She’s always had episodes. But when they happen, she clings to me. I’m her safe place. That’s how it’s always been.
This time, I was at the store when it happened. She thought her recently deceased father had come back from the grave to harm her. She screamed like someone was trying to kill her. The police were called. And my aunt—who barely spends time with her—acted like it was the first episode she’d ever had. She blamed me. Said I triggered it. But if she had ever truly been there, even once, she’d know this has been part of our reality for years.

She didn’t take my mother out of love. She took her to get the money back. I found out the truth—she couldn’t afford to paint her fence that month, and suddenly my mother was gone. It wasn’t care. It was greed. She wanted the $2,000 a month back, plus whatever shady deal she has with the homecare company—which also runs the daycare my mother hates. It’s heartbreaking.

My mother keeps asking for me. But I’m not even allowed to see her alone. There’s no moment for me to speak with her privately. No chance to get the power of attorney switched. I have an appointment with the case manager tomorrow morning to fight for her return. I’m her caregiver. I’m her son. And she’s being kept away from me like a prisoner.

I’ve lost my grandparents. I’ve lost my mother. I’ve lost my cat. I’ve lost my income. I’ve lost my footing. I’ve never asked for help like this before. I don’t even know how. But I’m drowning. I was getting $2,900 a month—just enough to survive and maybe invest a few bucks into my ideas. I’m an entrepreneur at heart. I have a mind full of inventions, stories, and systems. I was finally ready to build something. But now I’m stuck in a nightmare.

I’m not asking for a handout. I’m asking for a lifeline. A few thousand to catch up on rent. Maybe a vehicle to get around. A chance to breathe. A chance to fight back. A chance to reclaim my life. I’ve given everything to the people I love. And now I’m alone, watching the people who betrayed me live comfortably off the work I did in silence.

Please—if you can help me get through this moment, I promise I’ll pay it forward. I’ll build something beautiful. I’ll make this pain mean something. I just need a little help to stand again.
Thank you for reading.

Please help me as I have never asked for any help previously but I’m in dire need!

Hello,

firstly, thank you sincerely for taking the time to read my plea. It’s taken me a lot to go forward and seek help. A few years ago ( during Covid) , my Mother fell ill from her insidious ailment of ALS. Simultaneously, I was furloughed and from there , things went very bad. I refused to put my mother in a home so, I did all the caretaker/nurse duties . She passed the day after Christmas , in my living room , on her hospital bed. Shortly after, after having type 1 diabetes since little and getting lost in taking care of mom , I woke up and couldn’t see out of my left eye. I received surgery and all the while my sight was so bad, I couldn’t drive or search for work. Well, my lease was up at my apartment and it was discovered that we had a horrible mold problem that was causing debilitating headaches so , due to the apartment management doing a very light dusting of my vents and they refused to hire an actual mold remover , I had 20 days find me and my 88 year old dad a place to live. I took out a loan to cover and have been absolutely in a financial hole that has me so overwhelmed and stressed, I can’t get out of bed some days. My car died during Milton and it was towed and due to it being such a lemon, I didn’t chase where it went to and bought my neighbors old suv that also has died and now I need to buy a reliable car as I can only work part time and needed to get the job in my neighborhood as I have to walk to and from work. Please, if anyone could help, I’ll forever be indebted to you and will do my best to return the money , if I can ever get out of this hole. I take care of my dad , cook for him, do laundry and some days I truly would have given up had it not been for him. May God bless you and I’m sorry to have to seek help in this manner! My cash app is: $glittergrl76 ( Tara Ansty ) Thank you beyond !
