Please Help My Financial Crisis

Hi. My name is Stella and I am a domestic abuse and sexual assault survivor currently still serving in the military.

I was married to a veteran prior to joining the military. That ended up in a very messy divorce in November of 2023. While I was getting help from my leadership, they also had ulterior motives and ended up putting me in even more hardship than I could’ve ever imagined.

Over a year prior to my divorce, I had moved out from my house with my ex for my own safety and well-being, but he refused to help pay rent and bills after I left. I had no choice other than to pay double rent and bills to ensure my background/credit stayed intact. He had already racked up $27K in credit debt on his own that I proved through bank statements of card usage while I was in training.

Due to moving out for my safety, I was unable to collect my belongings and all the household necessities I bought. They were either sold or taken when he had moved out at the end of the rental agreement.

My vehicle was totaled from a rear-end and I can’t afford to get a reliable car or even fix my current car (transmission failure) due to all the payments I have to make. My credit score has dropped significantly in the past year trying to keep my head above water.

I’ve had a series of unfortunate events since I was 18. I was even homeless for a year since I have no family to turn to, but I’ve never had financial issues until the divorce.

I had a leader that guided me in the wrong direction and gave me wrong information on what to do and how to make this situation easier. I won’t get into detail on that, but it was a ploy to keep me where they wanted me and sheer laziness in getting paperwork done to ensure I didn’t owe money back to the government.. I am getting a huge chunk of my pay taken from me monthly now.

Needless to say, I’m in desperate need of financial help. I can no longer maintain all these payments. My paychecks are only enough to cover rent and a little more than half my bills. I just need help getting rid of the debt to get back on my feet and restart to fully move on and heal from all my hardship.

All the funds will be used to pay towards the loans I needed for lawyers, moving costs (I’ve moved 4 times in the last two years) and credit debt incurred throughout this process, as well as getting my car fixed.

Goal is $45,000

Thank you in advance and may you receive good health and happiness.

Disabled single mother in crisis

Life has a way of pushing people into places they never imagined, and right now, I am standing in one of those places. I am a single mother, disabled and doing everything in my power to keep my home stable from my 7-year-old son, I live on a very low-income $1700 a month.  And with the recent government shutdown, everything has spiraled. I did not receive my food stamps, and as a result, I had to put groceries, essentials and bills on my credit cards just to keep my son fed and the lights on. Now, those cards are reaching their limits. The fees are stacking up and I am sinking financially.

I have always been the type of person to push forward and find solutions. I am building my business Legacy Medical transport LLC with the hope of creating a stable future for my family and helping others in my community, but in this moment, I’m struggling just to make it to the next month. Christmas is approaching and while I want to give my son a joyful holiday, my reality right now is choosing between rent, food, and overdue bills, no mother should have to feel guilty for being unable to  to afford a small gift, but that’s where I am.

I’m asking for $5000, because that amount would allow me to get completely caught up. My rent would be paid, my credit cards would be broke back down, I could buy groceries without relying on debt and most importantly, I could give my son stability during a time when everything feels uncertain.  I am not asking for luxury just relief for the week that has been crushing me.

I am trying to build something bigger for my future. And my son’s future, but right now I need help getting through this moment. The stress of shutdown, the loss of food, the rising cost of everything. It has pushed me into a corner. I cannot climb out of alone.  Your support, whether large or small would give me the chance to breathe again to regroup, and to continue fighting for a better life.

Thank you for reading my story, and thank you for any help you are able to give it means more than words can ever express.

Emergency money needed for our electric bill.

I need help before our electric gets turned off. My electric bill is up to $12,000.00. I am sure many of you are wondering how it got so high without being turned off already. If I read this I would wonder too. I live in Maui, Hawaii. It is a beautiful place to live but electric is I believe the highest in the nation. It is beyond ridiculous. It was always a struggle but after the Lahaina fire there was a moratorium from the goverment. There could be no evictions and your utilities could not get turned off. I have a cleaning business and I clean vacation rental condos for various mainland owners. Well after the fires everyone was told Maui is closed that we need the resources for our people. “Don’t come here” Which we did to an extent. Everyone started canceling their trips. So for me that meant no work for a few months.  Tourist started slowly coming back. The moratorium kept getting extented and extented. Well now it is done and I have this huge bill that I have to pay. I called the electic company to set up a payment plan which the best they could can offer me is $1000.00 a month plus the current bill which averages $600 to $700 plus a month. I have tried my best to pay it, but it is just not happening and now I have a disconnection notice.  My oldest daughter, her boyfriend and 8 month old baby still lives at home because rents are so high nobody can afford to move. If they could even find a place. Studios are going for up to $2000 a month. I think they should pay 1/3 of the bill and keep asking but they still have not given me a dime. This does not include my water bill. My rent is $3000.00 a month and I am lucky that it is not higher. We have lived here for over 20 years and we are getting a good deal. Food and gas are really expensive. Gas has gone down a little. I saw it was $3.99 a gallon today. Thats the lowest I have seen it in years. I have never been on state assistance and have always payed my own way. So this is very humbling.  I have lived here for over thirty years but these days I can not keep my head above the water. I am praying I can at least get what I owe for the monthly payment to keep it on for another month. I wish I could just put my electric bill account number instead of cash app, but I dont think that is allowed. I cant get ahead with all my money going to this bill. Anything would be a huge help and appreciated more than I can say. Thank you for taking the time to read my problem. Wishing everyone a happy and healthy holiday season!

Aloha

I want to improve my life but sometimes we need to ask for help. $eska47

Hello my name is Steph I’m 49 years old I live with my cat Fiona she’s almost 3 years old. I have credit issues but under $3000 and I don’t have a car. If I could fix these two things I could improve my life exponentially. Fiona needs some vet care also. I let my pet insurance lapse because my rent went up over $100 and I have been struggling every month to pay my rent. That $100 was the money I used for Fiona’s insurance and needs. She is my emotional support animal. She is truly my savior, she came at the right time to keep my spirits high. Thank you to all who help others here. I hope your days are bright, and your loved and appreciated.

Life is not joyride

It’s not funny when everything in life falls apart.  My house of 16 years is foreclosing,  trying to figure out bankruptcy, while worrying about my children and little dog.  I need help with many things.    I have a M.D and I attended therapy 45 minutes away from my home two sometimes three days a week.  The ride system I use is not available to me.   I have found a therapist I connect with and a system that seems to work for me as I take on life.  I’m asking for 4 thousand dollars.  I do have a license and I think 4 thousand will get me a set up with a vehicle.    Thank you for your time  Becca.     My cash app is $Starzbjb

Struggling to get back on my feet after moving states n leaving an abusive relationship.

It’s been a little over 2 months that I left Nevada to return to Cali after 6 years of living there. I lost my job due to Vegas being slow n got out of an abusive relationship of 5 years. I couldn’t take it anymore and moved back to Cali very sudden and unexpectedly. Since I got back I managed to get a job but didn’t work out due to boss not being able to pay on time and had to wait days or a week. So I quit I put in applications but just started working a new job. I didn’t work for 3 weeks n fell behind on my bills. I am currently living in my truck. A long time friend offered to help me out before coming back to Cali n it was all talk n just stayed with her about a week and she recently got intoxicated and beat me up n kicked me out for no reason. My face is swollen n bruised. So I didn’t go to work n I just started that job. Im trying to get back on my feet but it’s been hard dealing with one thing after another. I feel very overwhelmed because im trying my best to get back on track but haven’t been able to and I’m one payment behind on my truck which I don’t want to lose because that’s where I’m currently sleeping. I’m a very hard working person and independent but unfortunately had unexpected life circumstances.
I would truly appreciate the help. I’m not one to ask I usually figure things out on my own.

Emergency Request

My family and I are currently in danger of losing our house, as well as our business. My husband is a truck driver, and is our sole source of income at the moment. We have owned our truck for 6 years. Earlier this year, the suspension on our semi truck completely snapped. Seriously, it shattered. We had to rebuild the entire suspension, and take out a loan against our house to do it. Everything was fine, we were making payments on time.. until just two months after getting the truck back from the repairs.

My husband had a serious medical incident that required him to be transported to the ER via ambulance, be seen by half a dozen doctors, and he was home for months before he could be released back to work. Once he returned to work, we thought everything would be fine. We managed to postpone our loan payments by a couple months, and he was working, so it seemed good.

As soon as we felt like we were getting back on track, everything hit the fan. I had to have emergency surgery to remove my uterus, and nearly bled to death because my uterine tissue was so friable, and bled every time the surgeon touched it. We have four children (two adult children, two under 8), one of whom is severely disabled. I am her caregiver, so when my surgery was necessary, my husband had to be home to be caregiver to her instead. Just two weeks after my surgery, our disabled child had to have emergency surgery due to an intestinal rupture, as well as weekly infusions that we had to pay for out of pocket because our insurance wouldn’t approve them at the time. During her recovery, our water heater AND our stove went out and needed to be replaced. On top of all of that, just last week our son and daughter-in-law welcomed a beautiful baby into the world 10 weeks early, weighing just over 3 pounds.

It’s been a year that we could have never imagined. Now we owe an insane amount of money towards our truck loan payment because we had SO many things that had to be paid for in order for us to even survive that we just couldn’t keep up, and if we don’t pay them at least $12,000 by the end of the month, we’re going to lose both our house, as well as our truck – our source of income. We do not know where else to turn. We have no extended family, and no support system. We have no one to help with our youngest children in order for me to work, and my husband can not keep taking time off of work. We do not qualify for assistance in our area, and have exhausted every other option we can think of, including selling my husband’s personal vehicle, as well as many belongings.

Please, if there is anything you can do to help, we would be eternally grateful.

Goal: $12,000+

Emergency funds for bill

Hi all,

I am unsure where to start,I am little embarrassed as i never asked anyone for anything.I am a single mother of a little boy, I am in a tough spot of paying my bills at the moment, my biggest bill is my gas bill which is around 2200euros, they are threatening me with the court if I do not pay, unfortunately I have already tried asking government for help but they are not willing as I am working, even though I work it seem I still can’t get to the bottom of my bills, when I was married I had to pay all the bills as they where all coming out of my account and my ex husband didn’t really help unless I begged him to pay for some things, after we separated,as I wasn’t able to pay some of the bills one of them being my gas, I went into the debt and now I am not sure how to get out of it,I really want to pay off as much as I can so I can finally start saving for my sons future. I would really appreciate any help I can get to hopefully give the best future to my son. Thank you

Emergency Funding request.

Dear All,

I am an elderly man, Michael Lavery, who along with my lifelong and best friend, Jon Kerswill had been planning a free (not for gain) marine and electrical educational academy to assist the severely underprivileged youth of Madagascar.

For such purpose we acquired a suitable sailing vessel which I have personally worked on refitting for nearly two years to make it perfectly suited to our project. It has yet to reach final completion but has not got far to go.

As semi retired engineers, we jointly had a wealth of experience to share and pass on to new generations.
Sadly, Jon passed away very unexpectedly three weeks ago which has placed me in a quandary. The sailing vessel we had jointly been preparing to achieve our plans now forms part of the deceased estate.

The beneficiaries of the estate have been most understanding on the matter as they knew of our goals and coupled to that, the fact that the vessel is my only home and also of prime importance to the sea school aspect of the academy.

For such reason’s, I need to raise sufficient funds to buy the deceased’s shares out of the estate which I simply cannot afford to do and to which end I need to raise approximately $81,000 or as close to as possible, for which I have been granted a six month period of grace within which to achieve such. Without your assistance not only will our planned humanitarian project fail, I will effectively have to try to recreate my entire life, as the vessel would have to be sold on and although in such instance I would receive a similar sum in settlement, I simply wouldn’t be able to start all over to honour what were our joint intentions.

Your assistance will be immensely appreciated, not only by an old man, but by scores of underprivileged young Malagasy adults who will be empowered by education to achieve real opportunities and vastly improved lives.

My PayPal link is paypal.me/seasure for your convenience.

Thank you all for hearing me out and please accept my sincere gratitude for your considerations.

Michael Lavery.

Family at breaking point

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this.

We never thought that our happy and loving family life would take this unrelenting downward spiral but it has, and thats why I have had to resort to asking kind hearted strangers for help.

I first met my wife 14 years ago while I was serving my last seven years in the British Army.  It was love at first sight for both of us and after 3 years we got married and then along came our precious daughter. We have both been good and responsible with money and when I left the Army in January 2020 we were lucky enough to buy our family home…This was to be the start of our downward spiral.

Covid then hit us in February and I lost my last family member to heart disease, my mum, this loss devastated us and we still miss her Daily afternoon calls. Our daughter at this time was 3 years old and we noticed that she was different, and that she was showing signs of Autism..I was supposed to start work out in Afghanistan but this was delayed until November 2020 so with no income I applied for Universal credit to help with day to day costs, this was declined as I was receiving an Army pension. I have worked since I was 14 and served 24 years for the country, I was shocked. We had some savings but like so many others this did not last long….over the last 4 years, our daughter has been diagnosed with severe Autism and special needs, our doors and windows have to be locked and deadbolted to stop her climbing out of the windows. She also doesn’t sleep well and regularly wakes up from 0200-0500 jumping from the windowsill to the floor..she needs 24 hour supervision and support which puts family members off visiting and helping out…

This all put my wife into severe depression which was fueled by her abuse as a child and up to her late teens, memories she has to deal with daily…this led to a gambling addiction which spiralled….due to my work abroad I did not pick up on this for a while. This and me having to stop working abroad and not completing a full year has resulted in credit card debt, HMRC fines and chasing us for unpaid tax, resulting in around 15-20k debts.. Due to all stress I then had a major heart attack on the 1st September, resulting in being off work and only getting £118 pw statutory sick pay and my wife has had to care for me aswell as our daughter….

There are other options to make money fast that could help but this is not something we could do or even consider, it would be a marriage breaker.. We have looked at loans but been unsuccessful, we also looked at equity release against our home but cannot apply as both owners need to be over a specific age…

Where we are now…….

On the ropes,.daily calls and letters from collection agencies, cannot pay car insurance so had to sell the car which was worth nothing. Basically struggling to pay all basic bills and council tax, this is not where we thought we would be…we like to and have helped family out.when they have needed it financially and emotionally but get nothing in return…

So we are asking for some help from kind hearted people to help us get back on our feet save this family from falling apart.

Whatever your decision, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for even taking the time to read this, that alone gives us some hope…

Wherever you are we wish you all a great Christmas and love,  health and success for the coming year

Thank you

David Welch

Single mom of 3 in crisis recent car repossession and pending eviction

I am raising money for a single mom of 3 who has been out of work on medical leave since earlier in the year. She will be hopefully able to return early next year however her position as a nurse at a trauma hospital will remain severely challenging and she is being encouraged to move slowly and find a pace that works best for her health-which an employer will not support so she has to give herself this grace.
During her leave she has faced countless setbacks including a recent car repossession, current/pending eviction and daily struggles of providing for her children emotionally, physically and mentally.
She has kept all of these things concealed for her children’s well being and makes things seem way easier than what she is currently battling. STD and State leave has been exhausted, LTD from insurance has been in an appeal process from a denial due to miscommunications. State assistance (snap) has been delayed and still pending full approval. She doesn’t qualify for many other options but does not want to rely on “help” and wishes she could push herself through this time alone. She has continued and will continue to provide the best life for her kids since rebuilding their lives a couple years ago after leaving her spouse due to dv. She has fought long and hard to regain all they left behind (both material and sentimental values). She poured her savings into moving and getting a car when they left which she has now lost and is renting or borrowing vehicles to ensure her kids can be transported and she can attend daily appointments.
I want this woman to feel empowered for making the decisions she did for her family despite all that she is currently battling. Both she and her kids deserve a break and I know there is hope to provide for her.
please let me know if any documentation, verification of need is required. For safety and protection I will not publicly share certain details to maintain her privacy and have blurrred children’s faces for same purpose. Making certain people aware of mother’s vulnerable position could add layers of stress from unwanted parties.

Starting over

I have to say, I’m 61 and never asked for help in the past. I’ve worked hard all my life and have had a job since I was 15, until recently. I haven’t made the best financial decisions but I don’t have any fancy stuff. I am recently divorced, was renting and couldn’t afford to stay there with one income. Credit card and loan debt ran up by the ex. And now, lost my job. I basiclly have my 2013 Ram truck, my cloths and my dog, Lola. I am currently staying with my older brother and his wife but I can’t intrude for long. Doesn’t feel right for a 61 year old living in a guest room. With the lack of that 2nd income, all the bills are late or not paid and my credit has gone from almost 800 to below 500 in less than a year. All I want is a place for me and my dog to call home. I will be getting SS soon and can maintain but I don’t have what it takes to get there. Actually looking for a travel trailer so Lola and I can travel and see some site while we both still can. I’m asking for $40,000 to get us back on our feet, get a roof over our heads we can call our and start to get the credit back in the right direction. Like I said, I get my ss soon so we can at least maintain. Any help you can give would be really appreciated. Thank you.
