Hey guys, my name is Mari Oso, and I’m reaching out to you with a deep sense of hope and determination. Life has been tough for me these past few years. I lost my job while moving out of state from New York to Texas and have struggled to make ends meet ever since. Every day has been a battle to keep going, and despite my best efforts, the financial strain has only gotten worse. My savings are gone, and the future feels uncertain for me temporally.

However, through all these challenges, I’ve held onto one dream that has been a long term goal for that keeps me going: creating an astrology-based social media app called Mythic. This app is more than just a project—it’s my vision for a platform where people can find solace, guidance, and a sense of community during difficult times, much like what I’ve been searching for myself.

I’ve tried fundraising on GoFundMe, Indiegogo, and even Kickstarter, but I haven’t received a single donation. I’m not giving up, though. I believe in this project with all my heart, and I know it has the potential to help so many people. I appreciate anyone who is willing to read this. I am a wife with a dream to start a family (I’m in my 40’s, so I’m hopeful) that went in over my head on trying to make marketing a drop shipping site over social media work.

The idea was to pay experts to run ads for me on social media advertising family-oriented products. My dream was to make enough money to prioritize starting a family.

This is what I told my husband who trusted that I was not going to throw our savings for a home down the drain. He works 8o hours a week and lets me try different projects because he just wants to see me happy. So, I know that him working so much for my ventures to fail are particularly heart breaking.

During this time, I have supported my family by paying bills with credit cards and my wife’s income, selling personal belongings, and even my daughter’s car. Despite these hardships, I have remained committed to providing for my children, putting my daughter through college and supporting my son through high school.

In addition to my family’s needs, I have opened my home to others in need, including my son’s friend, who was displaced from an abusive home, and a friend who lived with us rent-free for over seven years due to a nasty divorce.

While I did secure a six-month contract position, budget concerns prevented them from retaining me long-term, even though I was highly valued by my colleagues. I have applied to over 1,000 positions, but the job market remains challenging, with responses from only about 2% of applications. I often find myself either overqualified or reaching the final interview stage without success.

Despite these obstacles, my commitment to launching a charitable eSports franchise for local schools has never wavered. This venture is not just a business; it is a chance to give back to the community and inspire the next generation of gamers. My Story,

Two years ago I moved to a small town in North Carolina with a background in law enforcement and auto sales.  While this may sound cliche’, I really loved the service nature of law enforcement, but I needed the stability of a better income that comes with sales. As a result, I then moved into auto sales. While I have been successful it has been extremely up and down. Admittedly, I have struggled coming from a law enforcement background that demanded honesty,  then having to adjust to the corruption and shady deals that come with auto sales. The struggle was real. So, I have made the decision to move into life insurance.  This is definitely a leap of faith.

With this change comes a lot of unknown variables and expenses. If you are familiar with insurance sales then you know that generating a meaningful income doesn’t happen right away. The economy has affected everyone. Many small businesses like mine have struggled to keep the doors open and the lights on. Established in 2017, I just wanted to create a safe space for creative kids to find their tribe and express themselves in a creative environment. Our school has years of 5-star reviews on Google and Facebook. Our Art School has Consecutive wins for Best of Gwinnett since 2020 and Best in Georgia since 2022. But we are barely holding on. In an attempt to help our families we only implemented a $10 increase to our monthly tuition rates. But in this economy, it’s just not enough.  I have literally exhausted all efforts for funding. Hello, my name is LaDonja and I’m asking for money to help rebuild my life.  I’m a cosmetologist by trade and I’ve spent many days on my feet. Back in 2013, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, chronic pain, and Bursitis in both hips which makes it difficult to stand and even sleep. This year has been difficult, back in January 2024, I blacked out while in my kitchen trying to get something to eat. I got dizzy and lightheaded and the next thing I knew, I blacked out and fell on the kerosene heater and scalding hot water fell on my left shoulder leaving me with second-degree burns. I sat in the hospital for over 6 hours and was never seen by a doctor. The next day I went to my primary care doctor, and she sent me to a wound care doctor. Two weeks later I blacked out again but this time it was in my bedroom, and I landed beside the space in my room that I was using to heat my room. My mom saw that my light was on in my bedroom and decided to check on me she found me on the floor. When I looked down at my leg, I noticed that my left leg was burned very badly to the point it was bubbling. I started taking care of my left leg like wound care took care of my arm. A week later my leg started having a fever in it and it was at that time I needed professional help, so I went to the emergency room and was there for twelve hours until they shipped me off to the burn unit at Johns Hopkins Hospital. While at the hospital I had 4 surgeries to repair my left leg. At this point, standing for long periods and climbing steps is very difficult.
