Hello. I am a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Pennsylvania who was able to open her own infusion clinic a little over 2 years ago. My goal was, and still is, to treat patients with functional medicine and a more natural approach to medicine rather than order and perform unnecessary testing and treatments or adding more medications to patient’s list. I have had some great, and per my patient’s own words, life-changing results in helping diabetics with symptoms they have developed due to diabetes.
I am now introducing nutritional infusions into my practice in hopes to help people feel better in their daily life, recover from illness, replenish vitamin deficiencies, especially in those patients who have digestive issues and cannot tolerate oral vitamins and minerals, among many other possible benefits my patients can experience.
Unfortunately, my expenses are proving to be very difficult to handle. During my time doing the diabetic infusions, I was dealing with what turned out to be a seriously dishonest and immoral company that I am now indebted to by tens of thousands of dollars (over $70,000). Also, since I am in the state of Pennsylvania and require by law a both a collaborative and substitute physician, I need to pay them over $1800 per month, even though contact with them is very minimal.
My goal is to be able to market this business successfully, treat as many patients as possible to help them reach their health goals, and be able to make a living for me and my family. At this point I am behind on business and personal bills and have damaged my credit trying to make ends meet, so can no longer borrow any more money. My husband works 2 jobs, but this does not cover our bills, let alone help to establish my new business line and try to pay off some of the debt I have incurred.
I am not looking for enough funds to help me pay off my debt, as that was my mistake in trusting that particular company, but am asking for help in establishing this new venture. I am certainly trying my hardest to build this business as a female Nurse Practitioner entrepreneur in Pennsylvania, but the odds against me are being stacked higher and higher, and I am out of resources for the business and my family.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and consider helping.
