I am an honorably discharged Navy Persian Gulf combat veteran. I was deployed for 3.5 years of my military career and actively fought ISIS during my service. It was the honor of my life to have served the US as a Navy firefighter.

In 2019, 2.5 years after I was discharged, at 28 years old, I was diagnosed with non-alcohol-related liver failure and severe compartment syndrome in my left leg. To my surprise, when I went into the ER for a small injury, I was given two weeks to live. Because of my perfect bill of health before my liver failure, all to God’s grace, I was prioritized and received a liver in just 3 days. After my transplant, I had to have 12 leg surgeries to try to save my leg. After 2 years of severe pain, I got my left leg amputated in 2022.

I need renovations done to my home to make it more accessible for my everyday life. My home does not have steps that meet current safety building codes and they are very difficult for me to maneuver. I need to hire a contractor to replace the steps to code so I can access the second floor of my home more easily. I also need to have the contractor convert our garage to a bedroom with a handicap accessible bathroom, as I need a bedroom and bathroom on the bottom floor close together. Lastly, I need to hire a plumber to move our laundry room from the basement so I can easily access it. 

Receiving home renovation money means that my house becomes a home in which my needs are met due to my disabilities.

I had Long COVID and was on a ventilator in a coma for two months . I was in the 1 percent to live . I am now disabled and can’t breathe well always on oxygen . Help paying vehicle damages

This is not my vehicle, this is my coworkers. He parked behind me as I was leaving and I backed into his truck. Both passenger doors are damaged and his side mirror. He needs brand new doors and paint and also a new side mirror. He got a quote and it was just over $4800. I’m not the type of person who asks for help but this situation has really been stressing me out. This accident happened about 4 months ago but I just can’t save up for it. The Worst three months of my life-death, eviction, vehicle broken down, PLEASE READ!

I am going to give you the short version of why I need help. I’ve been with my boyfriend for almost ten years. He has a rental business, including two trailer parks. His business was in major trouble when I met him. So, it wasn’t long until I left my job and went to work for him full time. He and I did it all, I handled the management side, we both did the remodeling and yard maintenance, and before too long we had his business headed in the right direction. Now, even though we were together for a lot of years and we shared every aspect of our lives, we never legally got married. I knew this meant I wouldn’t be entitled to anything of his and I was good with that. He has one daughter who is grown and I have three boys and a girl, who are all grown. His daughter was going to get everything that her dad owned which is how it should be. Now fast forward to last October. My oldest son was on his motorcycle headed to work when someone hit him while they were going over eighty mph. My son didn’t make it. He didn’t have life or burial insurance; he was 29 years old. He left behind his wife and two little girls. There are no words to describe the hurt of burying one of your children. And even though Lance had some health issues going on, he put that on hold so that I wasn’t left home alone. My car started overheating in November. Lance didn’t feel like working on the car at the time, so it got put off until later. I knew he would take care of it once he felt cards. Had he not been there when I lost my son, I’m not sure I would have made it thru. I couldn’t ask for a better companion, best friend, rock. Then on January 16, 2025, less than three months after my son died, I woke up and walked in our bathroom to find him lying on the floor. His mouth and nose were completely full of vomit, his face was blue, I knew he was gone, but I still attempted C.P.R. until the paramedics arrived. They worked on him for over twenty minutes, but he was gone. Now, several years before I met him, Lance his house in his mother’s name because of some tax issues. Well, the day he passed, before they had even removed his body from the house, his daughter and mother put an eviction notice on the door, knowing I have nowhere to go and no way to get there. So, in less than three months I lost my son, the love of my life, my job, and now I am being forced out of the only home I have known for many, many years. And my car never got fixed. I can start doing door dash for income if my car was running. But I borrowed money against the title back in October and I owe the title company $2,217.00. I was in the middle of an emotional break down today and I saw a video that was talking about your website. As for the amount of money that I need, I have no way to figure that out. My emergencies are as follows: I have to find somewhere to go with no income, and I have to get my car fixed so that I have a way to move and a way to find a job, but I have to pay this title loan off or they are going to come get the car anyway. My son doesn’t have a headstone because we could not afford one. Thank God Lance’s had money that covered his funeral. Oh, and I forgot to mention that I was diagnosed with cervical cancer last year, but I don’t have health insurance, which is the least of my concerns. Right now, I am praying for a miracle. MONEY TO FIX MY TEETH

All my life I have had dental problems, I have spent thousands of dollars on my teeth and it seems every dentist has scammed me out of money but have not came through with quality dental work. This is devastating to me, I now only have two upper teeth and they are deteriorating quickly and soon will be falling out. It’s very difficult to eat especially around family and friends. Not only is it hard to eat the things you like but it affects your overall appearance and people tend to judge you on the reasons your teeth are in the condition they are in. I’m very depressed about the state of my teeth because I’ve always tried to take the very best care of them and nothing I’ve done has helped it seems. Im really wanting to get full upper implants but the cost is out of my reach which leaves me in despair, my teeth situation is all I can think about and I’m constantly trying to come up with how I could come up with the money. Unfortunately I’ve not been able to come up with a solution to my dilemma . Having bad teeth also limits the kinds of food a person can eat and enjoy. This makes it difficult when your working or in any social setting to be able to get a quick bite to eat, its time consuming and needs to be well planned out when you have a limited amount of time allocated for break or lunch with your employer. This is all so frustrating especially since dental insurance will not pay to get implants or any teeth replacement and dental costs are astonomicall and the cost only seems to be going up. I cry daily about my situation not that it helps but I’m just very saddened that its so difficult to get a medical procedure done like this when I work hard just to pay the basic bills I have to survive in the world today. The costs of everyday essentials just keep going through the roof and it makes it harder and harder for the average person to survive. Help My Brave Daughter Fight Ulcerative Colitis

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for help. My 11-year-old daughter was recently diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, a chronic and painful inflammatory bowel disease. Watching her endure this has been the hardest thing I’ve ever faced as a parent.  

For years, she suffered in silence. She experienced constant headaches, severe stomach pains, and extreme fatigue that left her weak and unable to enjoy her childhood like other kids her age. We visited countless doctors and specialists, but no one could figure out what was wrong. It wasn’t until recently that we finally got an answer that she has Ulcerative Colitis.  

Her diagnosis came as a shock—not just because she’s so young, but because this disease is uncommon in children her age. Doctors told us it’s unusual for someone so young to develop Ulcerative Colitis, which made it even harder to diagnose. While we’re relieved to finally have answers, the challenges ahead are daunting.  

My daughter’s condition is so severe that it requires constant care—frequent doctor visits, specialized medications, blood tests, colonoscopies, and even dietary adjustments. While I have health insurance, it covers only a fraction of these costs.

Despite the challenges, my daughter remains resilient. She loves gymnastics and dreams of becoming an Olympic gymnast someday. But her condition often leaves her too weak to attend school or enjoy the activities she loves. This illness has affected her both physically and mentally—she struggles with anxiety about her health and often feels isolated from her peers because she can’t keep up with them.  

As a single mom with no additional support, I’ve done everything I can to provide for her on my own. I’ve taken on multiple side jobs—anything I can do to supplement our income while we figure out a long-term plan for sustainability—but it’s still not enough to cover everything she needs. I’ve already exhausted my savings trying to keep up with her medical bills, and the financial strain is overwhelming.  

I know there are others out there facing more severe health issues, but this diagnosis has completely upended my daughters life. Watching your child suffer is heartbreaking, especially when you feel powerless to give them the care they need.  

That’s why I’m asking for $5,000. This amount would allow me to pay off her outstanding medical bills and cover the costs of her ongoing treatments for the foreseeable future. It would give me the breathing room I need to focus on managing her condition without constantly worrying about how I’ll pay for it all. Making My Mom (and Dad) Proud

I have been an entertainer most of my life. I lived in Las Vegas for many years performing at most of the casinos, and traveling all over the world entertaining people.

About eight years ago, my mom got sick. She had congestive heart failure and pneumonia, and I dropped everything to help take care of her for seven years.
She recently passed away, and now I get to carry on with my life.

In the meantime, however, since I wasn’t able to work while I was taking care of her, I now have no way to pay my bills, to cover my rent, nor do I have the capabilities to entertain people the way I used to. I’m embarrassed to say that I gained a lot of weight during that time.

On the other hand, since she passed away, I have been working on getting more fit physically, and I have lost 90 pounds so far, though I have more to lose.
