Foreclosure on my home

Hi,

I am a 51 year old woman who works a full time job and a part time job.  I have been at my full time job for 24 years now and my part time job for just 2 months now.

My husband left me for someone else and the mortgage is in his name only.  I am only on the deed.  He has not paid the mortgage and 2 days ago I was visited by the Sheriff’s Office that my house is going to be going to going to be auctioned off on Jan 10, 2024.  The amount of money that I need to cover the entire cost of my mortgage would be 148,000.  I have tried to get a mortgage in my name, but because he’s the only one on the mortgage no one will lend me any money to take care of this, and he doesn’t care if his son and myself will not have a home anymore.

I have tried to take out personal loans but they only go to 50,000.  I just do not know what else to do anymore.  I love my house and I would like to keep it if I can.

If people could please help me out you have no idea how much I would appreciate it!!

I need to pay my rent to avoid eviction!

In November 2022, I was laid off from my job of 5 years. I am a single mom & my two children depend solely on me. One is a senior in high school & the other one is in 1st grade. I am currently working, but my yearly salary was nearly cut in half. I accepted the position back in May because my unemployment was ending and my savings was depleted. I do not qualify for food assistance because my income exceeds the limit, but each month I’m having to choose between keeping my rent budget or feed my children. My rent is due today, and they file eviction the next day. My car payment is also due & this is the only means of transportation that I have for me & my children. My rent is $1,758, and my car payment is $500. I had a budget of taking $400 out of my check each week for rent but I had to pay my car insurance, internet, & utilities this month. I need help catching up on bills

I am a mother of 3 kids I work 2 jobs and still can’t afford most of my bills. I’m trying to catch up on bills after having to quit my job to take care of my kids  full time after they witnessed their father strangle his girlfriend and get tasered by police and get arrested. They were very scared and come to find out this wasn’t the first time they experienced a situation like that before. I found out later there was physical abuse happening at his house and they were too scared to tell. I’m at the end of my rope and I want to do what’s best for them but I need help! Disabled mom and Autistic son

Good day everyone. My name is Kathlene and I’m a single parent disabled mother with her almost 16 years old Autistic nonverbal young man. My life has been flipped upside down. My ex husband abandoned me and my son back in October of last year and we were homeless for a while then we were in an shelter and I was able to get us back in Mississippi where me and my son receive our doctor visits. I am in need of 3500.00 to help us with a emergency situation that has come up. Our emergency situation is the trailer where we stay is not good isolated and my bills ran a little higher this month. Last year in October, I was accepted into the musical theatre school of my dreams in NEW YORK CITY! Growing up homeless with a huge family, this kind of thing should never happen to someone like me. It seems impossible. But I am so in love with New York, and I am so happy. Fast forward to now, I took the summer off, and I am heading back to New York City in just two weeks. My family and I have worked very hard to get me there and back, and as life goes, sometimes we still need help. I don’t have enough money for baggage fees, transportation, school supplies, food for when I get to my dorm, or general living in New York City. $5000 for my last two semesters would be a dream, just so I can live and relax minus the stress of school. I am requesting temporary help. I’m a little overwhelmed right now. Asking for help is very hard so any help I receive, I can assure you, i will be eternally grateful.
I lost my husband in 2018 unexpectedly. I was not prepared and although I’ve worked all my life, I’m embarrassed to say this, I was never good at saving because my husband was the breadwinner and managed our finances.i never worried about money or how I would pay for anything, especially food. He was a great husband; worked hard, loved me, saved, invested and passed away leaving me 3 homes, 2 cars, as well as a portfolio of myriad investments.
A Conservator (I won’t mention their name unless asked privately), they stole over 2.3 million. I was left destitute, homeless, and lost everything as if losing him wasnt enough.
I dont tell my story for pity. I still believe I’ve had a blessed ljfe and I’m grateful for so many reasons. I wentback to work as soon as I could. I knew there were others hurting worse than I was so I decided everyday to choose kindness over revenge, happiness over misery and to be content in all things.
In July (2023) my car wouldn’t start when I was going to work one Friday night. I had just paid for a tuneup and was living paycheck to paycheck. I had it towed back to mechanic that tuned it up. They said I needed a “timing chain “, they needed 4k to fix my car. My 2007 Buick Lacrosse was barely worth that much. But I didn’t have any money until next payday and it that was going to bills and rent like every other payday. I lost my job for not having transportation and frankly, got suicidal and just hopeless.
I recently have sent my resume to several companies and I’m anticipating receiving job offers this week.

Capital to start a sewing and embroidery business

I have been laid off from my job since 2020. I tried hard to secure another job, but nothing till now. My husband has been the only one responsible for our financial needs. Dad doing his best but sinking.

I’m a 53 year old father of 5 struggling as a single parent. With 3 children grown and out of the nest I thought I had everything at home under control. And I did for a while. Then a couple of automobile repairs and a bout with sickness put me behind in my financial responsibilities and soon it began to snowball. In time I had maxed out my credit cards just trying to provide a normal life (something that their mother never allowed any of us to have ) for my remaining pair. My once good credit rating is long since gone. This led me to using cash advance apps just to get through the week. This helped for about 2 weeks and then I could clearly see I was working to pay them back only to turn around and borrow right back from them. Now with an unsecured loan delinquent and credit cards in collections, the threat of garnishment is extremely likely and would bury me for sure. I work 50 hours a week to barely break even. Just to make matters worse, I recently was informed that I probably have a tumor on my colon. I have not shared the news with my kids yet. They all see me as the strongest man in the world and a great provider. I have been their rock and held our family together since their mother tore everything apart. I don’t know what to tell them. REPOST: 65 Yrs Old, Heart Patient, Desperately In Need Of $1139 To Stop Foreclosure

I am 65 times around the sun and facing foreclosure.  I have all the proof in writing.  Suffered a heart attack and am desperately in need of a $1139 payment to stop foreclosure.  I have no family.  

I began calling my mortgagor before I had a late payment.  They wouldn’t talk to me until I was one month old with a late payment.  So I had to wait.  Then I called and asked for a Forbearance and they said they would see if it would be approved.  I was approved for 3 months.  I sent them the hardship letter, as to being retired and on social security and unable to meet the $1151 because I only got $1301 monthly.  Also, my 401K was sent as a lump sum with half gone for taxes.  So I had run out and needed to try and get a modification as I was actively seeking employment.  

I have worked for a couple of places since starting my forbearance but was not paid by several companies.  Tried working at Albertsons as a stocker, but could not get enough hours because the co-workers wouldn’t show up for work.  So I couldn’t be at the store alone.  Other stores wanted me to lift my head over 50 lbs.  Health-wise I couldn’t do it, as I’ve had a heart attack.

My forbearance was over as of 8/1/23.  I tried to negotiate a modification and they said no.  They wanted all missed payments paid in full Now!!

Talked to the bankruptcy attorney and they said to keep trying to speak with them.  So I called them and said I have huge equity in my home as I owe approximately late missed payments of $40K.  Taxes which always show lower are at $600K  house worth.  

I finally kept being persistent and I got approved to pay $1139.00 by 10/28/23, then 4 payments of $2600 per month.  Then back to my $1152.00, or they will foreclose.  

Time is of the essence, as I’m actively seeking employment and looking for reputable companies that will pay.  Zip Recruiter, People Ready Temp Service with my resume in front of many companies.  I’ve had a lot of calls and sometimes interviews, but nothing so far.  I’m staying positive in manifesting that something will open for me to get hired.

I am desperately in need of the $1139.00 payment for October and I am willing to work from home on the computer for any business.  I can send you my resume, lots of skills.

I would be ever so happy and grateful to get this payment problem gone.   I know that I will be hired by a company very soon.  It’s just around the corner.  As mentioned before I can forward the letter of proof to you.

Help a girl out

My name is Mel,

I am 26, and in a really difficult financial situation. I would be eternally grateful to anyone willing to help.
I was born with a range of health complications that weren’t addressed as a child, so it was difficult for me to work when I was younger.
A year ago I came to live with my family, after dealing with 2 1/2 years of abuse from my exhusband, I left last year after he broke my nose and I gained some self respect. Last Trip to Disney World with Family

Hello, I would have never dreampt about begging for money, but truth of the matter is I have always lived frugally being a single parent to three amazing children. I have Coronary Artery Disease, Type 2 Diabetes that’s really doing a number on my body, and a slew of other health problems. I had a triple bypass performed in 2008 and a bunch of cardiac catheterizations done leaving me with 5 stents in my heart arteries to keep me alive. The CAD is genetic and I have passed it on to my eldest son whom has already suffered a heart attack and has received two stents of his own. I was 38 when first operated on, I’m now 53 and with my most recent catheritization in 2022 was told that I need a heart transplant!  I had decided against the new heart only because at my age it would only benefit my life for 2 years.

I’m on here asking for money so that I can take one last visit to Florida’s Disney World with my family. Driving would be too painful for me and I wanted to go by plane due to back injury. Thank you for reading about my story. God Bless
