Hard working family of four with expecting mother and two very young children dealing with major hardships asking for any financial assistance at all to keep us afloat though the holidays.

Hello, we are a young family of four with a 4 year old little girl, and a 1 year old baby boy. My wife is expecting our 3rd child, another baby girl, in late January or early February.
When my wife and I first got together, we were both living with our parents and actually grew up a block away from each other on the same street but never talked until we were both a few years out of high school. We both grew up in poor low, income households, that dealt with many hardships throughout our childhoods. After we got together, my wife got pregnant with our 1st child and she moved into my mothers house with me. I started working when I was 16 to help my single mother out with finances and haven’t been unemployed more than maybe a couple weeks ever since. I worked mostly low income jobs until my daughter was about 1 years old, I finally got a decent paying job and started saving a little money here and there. When my wife got pregnant with our second child, my wife, daughter, and I were staying in my mother’s living room sleeping on an air mattress at night so it wasn’t the most ideal situation. I knew there was no way we could bring a second child into a situation like that so I knew we had to have our own place by the time my son was born. I ended up getting a second job on top of being full time detail manager at a car dealership. I saved up a good amount of money throughout her pregnancy and a couple months before my son was born we finally got into our own place. We applied for a ton of different places for rent but because of us having no credit history and being young we didn’t get into a lot of different places or other applicants were chose over us. We finally got into a nice townhouse that was pricy but we had to take it incase we weren’t offered another place before my son was due, so we had to take it and we really liked the house. I had a good amount of money saved and had decent income so we were confident we could live here comfortably financially. After our son was born we were doing great for a good year or 2. We had a couple good Christmas’s and birthdays and got our kids basically whatever they wanted. I wasn’t super wealthy or rich in any sense but we could take care of all our expenses, take care of our kids, and still live comfortably. We were doing good until about the beginning or middle of this year. My wife found out she was pregnant again, but about 6 to 8 weeks into her pregnancy, we found out that she had a miscarriage. Even though she wasn’t too far along, we were devastated and it was a really tough experience. My wife ended up have a few problems passing the miscarriage so she had to go to a good couple of doctors appointments to get it taken care of. I didn’t have medical insurance at either of my employments and we were denied government medical insurance because apparently my income was too high. So we had to pay a good amount of medical bills, also getting billed for the kids doctor appointments and anytime we would go to any urgent cares. Also the last year or 2, prices for basically everything have increased due to the recent economic problems so that’s been a struggle. After putting out a good amount of money around that time we definitely started feeling the struggle but we were still making ends meat. A few months later, very unexpectedly, my wife found out she was pregnant again. We’ve been very nervous and worried throughout this pregnancy because of her miscarriage a few months before that and have been hoping and praying for the best because of how much devastating losing the last baby was. She is actually a lot farther along with this baby then she was when we lost the last one and so far every ultrasound we’ve had, the baby seems very healthy and we recently found out we’re having a baby girl.
We’ve just been praying it goes as planned for the rest of her term. Although we were very happy and excited so far with this pregnancy, we were receiving more medical bills and our utilitiy bills were increasing in price and we started getting more and more behind on bills and expenses. We then had some more bad luck and had some parts go bad on our car and had to replace them and receive the maintenance on it. We only have one vehicle and are a very busy family so even though we were struggling, we really had no choice but to pay for the repairs. Around July this year, we started to get very behind on our bills to where I was getting cutoff notices for my water and electric and I’ve just been paying enough on it every month just so neither get turned off. Next month in August, I decided to pay on the utilities so they wouldn’t get shut off and be late on our rent. Our landlord usually didn’t mind if we were a couple days late on the rent as long as we payed it in the next couple days but i ended up not having the whole amount until after the 10th or so. So before I had the full amount, our landlord sent me an eviction notice. He told me if I could make the payment in the next 3 days, he would revoke the eviction. I was extremely worried because of my wife recently having a miscarriage and if we would have gotten evicted, that would have been a lot of stress on her and that’s the last thing that I wanted. We decided to try and get government assistance for the rent payment the next day. We were denied for assistance because even though we were behind they couldn’t give us any help due to me having too high of an income. The last thing I wanted to do is ask someone to borrow money but i would’ve done just about anything to make sure my family got to stay in our home so I asked some friends and family members to borrow the remaining couple hundred dollars but none of them could afford it. After this I tried applying for a few loans, which I was denied for every one of them due to lack of credit history. I ended up doordashing at nights after I got off work and luckily made enough to put the payment through.
After all of that we’ve never caught up and have been barley staying afloat. This month we signed a new lease for our home. When we moved in the rent started at 1450 per month but the rent was raised with the new lease to 1600 per month which just adds to our struggle. We’re closer to cutoff dates on my utilities more than ever, we’re very close to the holidays, and both of my kids birthdays are right before Christmas so we’re probably in the worst shape financially than ever. I’ve been working both jobs from morning to night almost every day of the week and most nights I’ll leave work and DoorDash for a few hours and most of the day on weekends. It’s very stressful to work 24/7, and barley have time to spend with your family just to scrape by and still be very behind. I’ve thought about a billion different options but we can’t really afford to move at the moment and with my wife expecting again, we really can’t move into a smaller home than what we’re currently in.

That brings me to why I’m here.. I really don’t like asking for help but when it comes to supporting my family I’ll do whatever I have to do to make sure they are taken care of. If anyone at all has any extra funds to donate, it would help us out incredibly and anyone who donates would be helping out a very honest hardworking family that’s in dire struggles. If anyone decides they would like to help us out and donate any funds at all it would mean everything to my family and would help us greatly! The username to my Cashapp and PayPal will be at the bottom of my request if anyone. Thank you so so much to whoever takes the time to read my article and god bless!

Needed Dental Care and Implants

Hello all, my name is Ivone. I am seeking kind support as I am in need of dental care and necessary implants that have become crucial due to the side effects of cancer medications and treatments that I have undergone. The subsequent treatments have taken a toll on my overall health & oral health.

The side effects have led to the weakening of my teeth, causing over 10 to fall out and leaving me in a position where dental implants have become a necessity. As you can imagine, the financial burden of these dental procedures is substantial, and I find myself unable to bear these costs on my own as I generate no income and my life partner is unable to assist with what he makes.

I believe in the power of community and kindness of the people. Your donations in any amount will contribute significantly in improving my quality of life and restoring my confidence, smile, and ability to eat solid foods without pain. I am sincerely grateful for your time and consideration. Your generosity will make a significant impact on my life, and I will be forever grateful for your support.

My fiancé deserves more than what life has given her.

I have never been the type to ask for help, even when I was little when I was injured I would run the opposite direction of my parents arms, but there come a time in your life where you don’t know what else to do.

I have been a caregiver for the elderly for over 10 years with fibromyalgia that makes me feel as though I’m fighting for my life through the pain every day of my life for about 15 years. It’s become harder and hard for me to work and provide for my wife to be.

My fiancé is also in healthcare and has recently had Covid which cause her to have a blood cloth in her lung. I’m so scared that she is going to work herself until she can’t anymore and I feel helpless as my job is also very limited hours.

I know this is a shot in the dark for anyone out there to see this but we need anything we can get to get back on our feet and do what we love again, helping others.

thank you for taking the time to listen. Much love.

Trying my hardest

Hello to all,

I am a young mother of 3. I’ve been trying for years to get through life with my children as their father left me. I ended up being in a domestic relationship for nine years which I decided to run away from on Dec 20th of 2022. A few days before Christmas. Christmas is always a great holiday in many families, but what about if you can’t celebrate due to knowing you need to get away from someone who might kill you? Having to think about it so I had a talk with my children letting them know that either we can stay and continue to be mistreated and done wrong or we can leave when I get paid. They were with me on leaving because they always feared he would take me away from them. And I understood completely because I knew it would be for the best. After the last time he put his hands on me and almost killed me. I left with my last check from Conn’s which was $687.36. He took everything from me and drained me of everything I’ve worked so hard for. My name wasn’t on the lease due to me helping my mother in 2018 get a house which led to eviction on both parties. So imagine being thrown out every time he got mad about anything!! He would have me up at 3:00 a.m. arguing and throwing me around  and flipping me out of the bed by lifting the mattress up with me in it just to throw me onto the floor. Then he would force me to leave with my kids because their not his biological children. So it didn’t matter to him how we felt about anything he had done. I’ve tried to get a place of my own for a long time until I just gave up from being constantly denied. We have been forced to live anywhere someone will say yes we can stay for a few days. I don’t have a high credit score to get any type of loans and I’m not sure how to apply for grants to help me and my children out. This is my first time ever doing something like this and I’m taking it as a sign from God that I should share what I’ve been facing. I found this site from searching YouTube on how to make money quickly. So here I am telling my story praying for God to send me the help my kids and I need. I have no car no home. I just want to be able to get back on my feet and eventually get a home for them and of course work to get me another vehicle. I cry every day knowing I’m not able to give my kids the things they need and one day I believe I’ll be able to give them their hearts desires but I need a head start. I really don’t know what to do at this point of my life other than to ask for help. I’ve applied for housing in Dallas Tx but they’re all rude and unwilling to help me in my situation. I’ve been on the waiting list for years and haven’t received any help from the housing authorities. This is very stressful and I don’t want to fully give up but what am I to do when it seems like everyone is saying no. At this point anything will help us. I am not a bad person at all. I don’t surround myself around people because I am ashamed of how I am living and I don’t want my children to be taken from me cause God knows I’m doing my very best. I believe he will make a way through this time of need. Thank you for your time and support.

Please help…Loosing house to Foreclosure in One Week

I live in a nice house that I remodeled and added a bedroom wing which borders National Forest in Northern Arizona.  My wife and business partner of 40 years recently passed away from covid and cancer.  I was not able to work during her sickness and got behind on my bank payments.  The house went into foreclosure with an arrears of $90,000.  I have been taking care of my wife’s crippled friend and rescue animals.  If we are evicted, we have nowhere to go.  The foreclosure sale is scheduled for October 24th, 2023.

I have been developing a business project, but the project funding will not be coming in on time to rescue the house. I had been expecting that this would bail me out since I work from an office in the house.

I have been selling and/or borrowing any way I can but time is short.  Please help in any way possible…

Thank you and God Bless…

Restoring My Smile: A Plea for Your Kindness

I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. My name is Carmonia, a 56-year-old woman who finds herself reaching out to you with a heavy heart, seeking a chance to regain something that many take for granted: the simple joy of smiling.

For the past three years, I have faced the challenges of living without my upper teeth and with only a few front lower teeth. It has been a long and painful journey, leaving me unable to enjoy a nutritious diet or even the simple pleasure of smiling with confidence.

Adding to the weight of this situation is the fact that I am on disability and unable to work. My financial situation has been stretched thin, making it impossible for me to cover the substantial cost of dental implants, which I am told will be at least $35,000. This sum, though daunting, represents the chance for me to reclaim a sense of normalcy and well-being.

Life has dealt me a difficult hand, having lost my husband to a tragic act of violence 23 years ago. Since then, I have navigated life’s challenges alone, relying on my own strength and the support of kind-hearted friends.

In addition to these challenges, I also battle diabetes, which further complicates my overall health and well-being. This condition requires meticulous attention to my oral health, as any complications can have far-reaching consequences.

I am reaching out today in the hopes that you might find it in your heart to assist me in this endeavor. Your generosity would not only restore my ability to eat healthy foods and smile, but it would also bring a sense of dignity and confidence back into my life.

If you would like to contribute, you can send your donation directly to my PayPal account. Even a small amount will make a meaningful difference, and I will be forever grateful for your kindness and compassion.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your support means more to me than words can express. I promise to pay forward this kindness in any way I can.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Carmonia

Need help getting my license 28 years without them

Life is a journey filled with unexpected twists and turns. At 21, I made a mistake that resulted in the loss of my driver’s license. Now, at 49, I find myself in a vulnerable situation, homeless and desperately seeking assistance. In this essay, I will expound upon the challenges I faced and explain why I am reaching out to people for financial aid.

Losing my license at such a young age was a pivotal moment in my life. It had a profound impact on my ability to secure stable employment and maintain financial stability. Over the years, I faced numerous obstacles and setbacks, often feeling trapped in a cycle of despair. However, I have never lost hope or stopped striving for a better future.

Now, at the age of 49, the urgency to rebuild my life has become undeniably apparent. I find myself without a permanent residence, struggling to meet even the most basic needs. While I understand that financial assistance alone cannot solve all my problems, it is an essential stepping stone towards a brighter future.

With the help of generous donations, I would be able to address immediate needs such as finding temporary shelter and securing nutritious meals. The stability provided by these basic necessities would allow me to focus on regaining my driver’s license, a crucial component in my journey towards self-sufficiency. Having a valid license would open doors to employment opportunities, enabling me to secure a job and break free from the cycle of homelessness.

Moreover, financial assistance would give me the chance to invest in my personal development. By acquiring new skills through vocational training or further education, I can enhance my employability and increase the chances of finding sustainable employment. This investment in myself would not only uplift my spirit but also empower me to regain control over my life.

In conclusion, my journey from losing my license at 21 to seeking help at 49 has been challenging, but it has also provided valuable lessons and an unwavering determination to rebuild. Financial assistance would provide me with the means to address immediate needs, reinstate my license, invest in personal development, and ultimately secure stable employment. With the compassion of others, I am confident that I can regain my footing and embark on a path towards a brighter future.

14k credit debt from career fallout/housing displacement/injury

Please help me start over with a clean slate.

For the last decade and some change I survived by doing and was addicted to sex work and sex-related work to get out of big debt, keep the bills payed, and stay out of debt while living in NYC and San Diego.

It worked initially in getting me out of large debt (while cater waitering and temping), on much smaller levels a couple times since, and generally got me by for  those ten years (sometimes barely and needed help).  However, I found it really hard to quit for good and replace the income without skills to land a job that would pay enough to allow me to support myself – not to mention the toll hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of clients and that lifestyle took on on me mentally, emotionally, and spiritually (the therapist and healers were not cheap but I’ve made great progress this year on the healing front).

Prior to becoming a sex worker – I had been a working performer, cater waiter, and temp through my 20’s in NYC.  My BFA is in Musical Theatre, my only two part time jobs of my life so far were in retail, and the last one was twenty years ago.

Last November I made the brave and right choice to take down the escort ads for good and of course there was a significant financial fallout after that ‘faucet’ of income was turned off (though I feel so relieved being free of it!).

I was able to host massage clients at home for several years here in SD and then had to move out of that place a couple months ago as the rent hike made it unaffordable.  I’m to unable to host clients in my new place, so my income was once again slashed significantly and more of my expenses had to go on credit.

I was doing mobile massage when I hurt my wrist and was unable to work for almost three months.  During that time I was able to make ends meet through a few generous friends but the debt continued to amass with medical bills that I had to pay out of pocket as I’m uninsured in addition to the lost income during injury recovery.

I took down all the massage ads for good on Labor Day because I promised myself I would and I know it was the right thing to do but the income from deliveries and dog walking just isn’t cutting it and the debt balance continues to climb.

Your generosity in helping me pay off this debt would help me move forward without my credit score getting ruined (important for leasing my next car and having to move again end of year) and without having to carry forward a heavy financial burden from of an era of my professional life that’s now happily over.

Even though I don’t exactly what’s next I know I’ll figure it out and will do what I need to do to move forward in the best possible way.

I’ll be 42 in February and need/want to start a new era of my life NOW.  I’m actively looking for a new professional opportunity/way to move forward and your generosity would help me make a clean and total break from my past and move on unencumbered by this large, stressful burden.

Thank you in advance for however much you choose to contribute to my clean slate.  Every penny is a blessing and greatly appreciated.

Grandmother raising grandchildren in need

In 2018, I took in 3 of my grandchildren from an abusive alcoholic father. Their mother (my middle daughter) has severe PTSD and cannot care for them. I was living with my oldest daughter at the time. We came to an agreement that she would work and I would stay home with the children. They had been through so much. They needed therapy and medical needs that had not been addressed.

The 14 yr old boy has abandonment and trust issues, but is trying hard to hide his pain. The 8 yr old girl suffers from a condition where her bone age is 3 years older than her physical age. The 7 yr old boy is on the autism spectrum and behind on many of his fundamental milestones.

We had one vehicle, so I was also the family chauffeur. I thought everything was going great. Fast forward to 2023. A month ago, my youngest daughter and her 2 children (ages 14 yrs and 2 yrs) needed out of an abusive relationship so my oldest brought them here.

With no warning, my oldest daughter walked in last weekend and announced that she was moving out… immediately. She had met a man my age and was moving in with him. I am devastated. She left me with nothing and 2 months behind on bills. She even took the car. None of the parents are paying child support. I have begun job hunting and will get back on level ground. I just need some help to get caught up until I can get my head above water.

These children have been through a fire that took their home. They have been abandoned by their mother, father, step-father, and now the aunt that has helped raise them for the last 5 years. I am trying so hard not to put them through anymore heartache. Any bit of help would be beyond appreciated.

My Wife was injured in a car accident

To Whom it Concern,

I want to thank whoever takes the time to read this and help my family.

My wife was in a car accident and has been out of work for a while, and I am on disability for having bad lungs. The car accident wasn’t my wife’s fault. Someone came out of nowhere and hit her, totaling our car and injuring her. I have been trying to help as much as possible, working for Amazon Flex delivery, getting us to buy with my disability checks, and working for Amazon Flex with hours so as not to lose my disability in the process. Our son also has autism, so between taking her and him to appointments, work hasn’t been fun. She was our primary provider, and we pray that people will find it in their hearts to help us. I have never asked for any help before on something like this. We are about to lose everything: our home, car, power, food, and our sanity. I don’t know what to do or who to turn to. I have no family here, and we need help. I have pawned everything we own, including my wife’s wedding ring, which meant a lot to her. so I have tried everything before turning here for help. If you need more information, feel free to ask. We are open books, and again, thank you for everything. I don’t know what category to ask for in this. We need at least $1,900 to get us caught up. Please help us.

Starting my life over at 43

Hello. Mt name is Lisa I am a female  and 43 years young. I am currently try I ng to start over and do what I have always dreamed of.  I am a firm believer that regardless of what you have been through ones perspective on things can make all the difference.  A positive mind and the strength and will power to move forward and up can make the world of difference.  I have been I believe to hell and back on multiple occasions, I have just survived and extremely abusive relationship for the last nine years. I lost everything I had and recovering from homelessness and many injuries and scars along the way. When I finally made it out surprisingly alive I made myself a promise. I would from that koment on do something with my life that made me happy doing for however long I still exist here.  I have an absolute passion for restoring antique furniture and interior design and it just so happens that it turns out I am very good at doing so.  I have started my own company and find myself struggling to survive until I can get this business off the ground and turning any sort of profit. I know this will come in time and with hard work. If there is something I am not afraid of it would be hard work and dedication to something I cherish. To get this business going I need to be able to afford the space to hit the ground running as well and the technology to do so. Meaning work computers, pos systems a cell phine to reach potential clients,  a marketing assistance yo have thr time to get me onto platforms to reach more potential clients and a safe and stable place to live which would double as my home workshop and portfolio space.  As well as being able to afford the certifications and things necessary to move forward. I would appreciate any assistance from hopefully someone who knows how hard it is to start over and bounce back from the horrible things in life.  Thank you for taking the time to read this and have a wonderful day. Will and Shine

Good day to all,

I turn to you this day as others and the lord knows I did try not to come this platform. Today, I’ve come to find that my source of transportation needs an engine replacement. As this came as a shock to me. There were no obvious signs of this type of failure. I hadn’t started it in a while and it was known that other important work was necessary.

Of course, there is a history to this part of life.

In March this year, my work was terminated due to management issues. The pay was good and on time while the project was ongoing and until just before our two week break. The last two pay periods were awkward. As it was the first time we hadn’t received the pay on-time. The next payment was received late as well and on this occasion it was also short. Thank the most high that we had another week complete when it was time for our break.

Anyway, we returned to our homes respectively expecting to be paid as we were told before heading home. My pay would take about a month and a half to get to me in which case I could not now pay rent. As they would give small portion after being home three weeks then two weeks later a little more. Never paying my full pay at once. In any case this caused me to lose our house about mid-April. We ended up in hotels while I could attempt odd jobs to feed them. More…

At about three weeks later I fractured my foot second thing in the morrow. March 7th, it happened. The next day I realized standing on two feet was not an option. So very thankful that it did not necessitate surgery. We found that we could save by staying at campgrounds for a period. Yet, by this time were clearly beyond low budget. Now, work was not an option for me & this all happened so fast. Losing the house is one thing and was very hard on my family. The children of course thought it was fun. We don’t inform them we don’t live anywhere. We teach them to be greatful that we are covered sometimes. Also that we can eat sometimes.

Now, my bone is healing well and we’ve decided to try to get me back working and…here we are this day. Of course, now the cold season is upon us again. Without the car I now cannot provide heat.

Thank you for your time, patience & sincere consideration.

First Time Homebuyers Short of Down Payment/Closing Cost

Hello Everyone,

I’m a first-generation Haitian-American and a first-time home buyer with my mom. Due to the rising rent prices in NYC, my mom and I are currently buying our first home, which will give us more freedom when it comes to housing. My mom and mom and I have been saving up for a down payment for about 4 years now, and after finally finding a home, we are currently in a contract for a co-op apartment in Brooklyn, and we have the opportunity to put 10% down of $26,5000. However, we are currently short of $6,500 for the apartment we were approved for, and our closing date is approaching soon on November 15. We both work full-time jobs, and my mom has worked extra hours at her hospital as a CNA to help save up the extra money for our down payment and closing costs, which are an extra $6,500 needed.
Being a full-time student with a full-time job, finding an extra part-time job that works with my schedule has been challenging due to working full-time and being a full-time student. The prospect of losing the chance for secure housing as we got thus far in the home-buying process will be truly heartbreaking. As first-time home buyers, my mom and I have completed home buying courses and researched many home buying grants we could apply for, but we won’t be approved on time as they can take up to months to get approved.
It would be greatly appreciated if any help or donations could be given to me and mom in achieving our goal of becoming first-time homebuyers.
If anyone is able to help and donate, please use my PayPal, and all donations will be greatly appreciated.
