Just a Little Help in the Shop

Hello, I need help with a non-life threatening or emergency so, please consider this before helping me.

I am turning 62 this year and my legs have decided that they are going to do what they want to do instead of what I think they should be doing.. It’s part of life and where I need help is in buying materials to set my wood working shop up so that I can continue to work sitting down when my legs refuse to stand. I have most tools needed but lumber prices have made this dang near impossible for my to get done on my own. I will build the lower tables and bench tops myself. The few tools that I need to make things a little easier are mostly hand powered tools, no big commercial equipment. By lowering the surfaces and racks for tool and supplies helps me be more independent while working in my shop. I am trying to position myself to stay ahead of being dependent on someone else or Govt programs. My wood shop makes wooden toys and deco that I sell on-line, this keeps the belly happy and the heat on. Thank you for your consideration and time.

Merry Christmas,

PLEASE HELP ME KEEP MY FAMILY FROM HOMELESSNESS

To Whom It May Concern,

I never imagined myself writing a letter like this, and it’s taking a lot of humility for me to reach out in this way. A month and a half ago, I was injured at work. Since then, I have been completely unable to work, and during this time I’ve used every dollar I had saved just to keep up with the bills and basic living expenses. At this point, I am completely out of money, and I am doing everything I can to keep my head up while trying to provide for my family.

I support my fiancée and her autistic son, and they depend on me for all of our bills and household expenses. I’m also a small business owner, and on top of everything else, my truck broke down unexpectedly. Without it, I have no way to get to jobs, no way to bring in income, and no way to get back on my feet. This setback has left us in an impossible situation.

Christmas is right around the corner, and we have no money for gifts, let alone the rent that’s due. I’m doing my best to hold everything together, but right now I am overwhelmed and running out of options.

Adding to our heartbreak, our Cane Corso is suffering from severe hip problems and needs a hip replacement. Without surgery, she could go lame, but I simply cannot afford the care she needs. It hurts knowing that even her well-being is slipping through my fingers because of how hard things have become.

I’ve always been someone who takes pride in working hard and providing for my family, and asking for help from strangers is something I never thought I’d have to do. But right now, we are facing more than we can handle on our own. If anyone is willing and able to help us get through this extremely difficult time, it would mean more than I could ever put into words.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for any kindness, support, or compassion you may offer. I am deeply grateful.

LEGACY MEDICAL TRANSPORT LLC: community- focused Non-Emergency Medical Transportation for NYC families

Starting Legacy Medical transport LLC is more than just a business idea for me. It is a mission born from real life challenges, responsibility, and the desire to help others who face the same obstacles as I do. As a parent of multiple children, including a son who relies heavily on consistent and safe transportation, I felt first-hand what it means to struggle with mobility limitations while trying to meet medical and daily needs. Living with a disability has made it difficult for me to accompany my child to  appointments to school and to the bus stop. But it has also opened my eyes to how many other families in New York City experience the same hardship.

Transportation shouldn’t be the barrier that keeps people from receiving care. Unfortunately, in neighborhoods across New York City, it often is many elderly, disabled, and low-income families are forced to cancel appointments, missed vital medical follow-ups or struggle unnecessarily because they lack reliable, compassionate and affordable non-emergency medical transportation service.  I want to change that.

Legacy medical transport LLC is being built with the community in mind- children, seniors, disabled individuals and any person who needs safe, dependable and respectful transportation. My goal is to purchase a reliable, fuel efficient minivan that meets New York safety standards and ADA compliant needs.  Allowing me to begin serving clients immediately with my CDL class B license and years of passenger experience, I’m fully prepared to operate professionally and safely.

The start up funding, I’m requesting will go directly toward securing a vehicle, obtaining proper insurance, completing business formation filings, covering equipment expenses( such as safety kits and medical appropriate sanitation supplies), and launching operations. This business is not just for my financial stability, it also gives me the ability to help parents like myself, elderly neighbors and people in our community who simply need consistent transportation, they can trust.

Legacy Medical Transport LLC represents opportunity, independence, and community support. With the right funding, I can launch quickly and begin providing a service that genuinely changes lives. Every contribution brings me one step closer to helping families who depend on safe transportation every single day.

A Plea for Urgent Help: Trying to Survive After Tragedy and Debt

Dear Everyone,

I hope this message finds you with great spirit.

I am reaching out today with humility and a heart full of uncertainty, hoping that someone reading this might be willing to extend a hand during the most difficult chapter of my life.

In the middle of my graduate program in the U.S., everything changed. A devastating car accident left me permanently disabled, battling mental instability, chronic anxiety, and overwhelming stress. The physical injuries were only the beginning – what followed were endless medical bills, unpaid loans, and a financial collapse I never saw coming. I have been trying to recover ever since, but the debt, pain, and emotional burden have only grown heavier.

I pursued graduate school with the belief that education would secure my future and allow me to give back to my community. Instead, I now carry more than $120,000 in student debt, a weight that has followed me every single day.

Today, I find myself deep in a hole I cannot climb out of alone. The constant pressure has taken a toll on my mental health, leading me at times to some very dark thoughts. I am doing my best to stay hopeful, but the weight of everything has become almost unmanageable.

That is why I am here, sharing this with vulnerability and sincerity.
I am politely asking for immediate help – any amount, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference. Your support would go directly toward easing the financial strain that has consumed my life and would give me a moment to breathe, heal, and rebuild.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read my story.
If you are able to donate, please know that your kindness will not only help me financially – it will help restore hope during a time when I desperately need it. Your generosity would mean more than words can express, and I would carry that gratitude with me forever.

Thank you, truly, for any support you can offer.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you!

Sincerely yours,

Please Help My Financial Crisis

Hi. My name is Stella and I am a domestic abuse and sexual assault survivor currently still serving in the military.

I was married to a veteran prior to joining the military. That ended up in a very messy divorce in November of 2023. While I was getting help from my leadership, they also had ulterior motives and ended up putting me in even more hardship than I could’ve ever imagined.

Over a year prior to my divorce, I had moved out from my house with my ex for my own safety and well-being, but he refused to help pay rent and bills after I left. I had no choice other than to pay double rent and bills to ensure my background/credit stayed intact. He had already racked up $27K in credit debt on his own that I proved through bank statements of card usage while I was in training.

Due to moving out for my safety, I was unable to collect my belongings and all the household necessities I bought. They were either sold or taken when he had moved out at the end of the rental agreement.

My vehicle was totaled from a rear-end and I can’t afford to get a reliable car or even fix my current car (transmission failure) due to all the payments I have to make. My credit score has dropped significantly in the past year trying to keep my head above water.

I’ve had a series of unfortunate events since I was 18. I was even homeless for a year since I have no family to turn to, but I’ve never had financial issues until the divorce.

I had a leader that guided me in the wrong direction and gave me wrong information on what to do and how to make this situation easier. I won’t get into detail on that, but it was a ploy to keep me where they wanted me and sheer laziness in getting paperwork done to ensure I didn’t owe money back to the government.. I am getting a huge chunk of my pay taken from me monthly now.

Needless to say, I’m in desperate need of financial help. I can no longer maintain all these payments. My paychecks are only enough to cover rent and a little more than half my bills. I just need help getting rid of the debt to get back on my feet and restart to fully move on and heal from all my hardship.

All the funds will be used to pay towards the loans I needed for lawyers, moving costs (I’ve moved 4 times in the last two years) and credit debt incurred throughout this process, as well as getting my car fixed.

Goal is $45,000

Thank you in advance and may you receive good health and happiness.

Disabled single mother in crisis

Life has a way of pushing people into places they never imagined, and right now, I am standing in one of those places. I am a single mother, disabled and doing everything in my power to keep my home stable from my 7-year-old son, I live on a very low-income $1700 a month.  And with the recent government shutdown, everything has spiraled. I did not receive my food stamps, and as a result, I had to put groceries, essentials and bills on my credit cards just to keep my son fed and the lights on. Now, those cards are reaching their limits. The fees are stacking up and I am sinking financially.

I have always been the type of person to push forward and find solutions. I am building my business Legacy Medical transport LLC with the hope of creating a stable future for my family and helping others in my community, but in this moment, I’m struggling just to make it to the next month. Christmas is approaching and while I want to give my son a joyful holiday, my reality right now is choosing between rent, food, and overdue bills, no mother should have to feel guilty for being unable to  to afford a small gift, but that’s where I am.

I’m asking for $5000, because that amount would allow me to get completely caught up. My rent would be paid, my credit cards would be broke back down, I could buy groceries without relying on debt and most importantly, I could give my son stability during a time when everything feels uncertain.  I am not asking for luxury just relief for the week that has been crushing me.

I am trying to build something bigger for my future. And my son’s future, but right now I need help getting through this moment. The stress of shutdown, the loss of food, the rising cost of everything. It has pushed me into a corner. I cannot climb out of alone.  Your support, whether large or small would give me the chance to breathe again to regroup, and to continue fighting for a better life.

Thank you for reading my story, and thank you for any help you are able to give it means more than words can ever express.

Emergency money needed for our electric bill.

I need help before our electric gets turned off. My electric bill is up to $12,000.00. I am sure many of you are wondering how it got so high without being turned off already. If I read this I would wonder too. I live in Maui, Hawaii. It is a beautiful place to live but electric is I believe the highest in the nation. It is beyond ridiculous. It was always a struggle but after the Lahaina fire there was a moratorium from the goverment. There could be no evictions and your utilities could not get turned off. I have a cleaning business and I clean vacation rental condos for various mainland owners. Well after the fires everyone was told Maui is closed that we need the resources for our people. “Don’t come here” Which we did to an extent. Everyone started canceling their trips. So for me that meant no work for a few months.  Tourist started slowly coming back. The moratorium kept getting extented and extented. Well now it is done and I have this huge bill that I have to pay. I called the electic company to set up a payment plan which the best they could can offer me is $1000.00 a month plus the current bill which averages $600 to $700 plus a month. I have tried my best to pay it, but it is just not happening and now I have a disconnection notice.  My oldest daughter, her boyfriend and 8 month old baby still lives at home because rents are so high nobody can afford to move. If they could even find a place. Studios are going for up to $2000 a month. I think they should pay 1/3 of the bill and keep asking but they still have not given me a dime. This does not include my water bill. My rent is $3000.00 a month and I am lucky that it is not higher. We have lived here for over 20 years and we are getting a good deal. Food and gas are really expensive. Gas has gone down a little. I saw it was $3.99 a gallon today. Thats the lowest I have seen it in years. I have never been on state assistance and have always payed my own way. So this is very humbling.  I have lived here for over thirty years but these days I can not keep my head above the water. I am praying I can at least get what I owe for the monthly payment to keep it on for another month. I wish I could just put my electric bill account number instead of cash app, but I dont think that is allowed. I cant get ahead with all my money going to this bill. Anything would be a huge help and appreciated more than I can say. Thank you for taking the time to read my problem. Wishing everyone a happy and healthy holiday season!

Aloha

I Need 14k To Fix My Truck

In the last part of 2023 I had a wreck in my fathers truck . The rear brakes went out and I lost control of the vehicle. My emergency brakes weren’t functioning either when I was on the highway when this first went down . I had to find a place to crash so I found an exit about a 0.5 miles up on the right , thank GOD there wasn’t much traffic out or any pedestrians to be found on this late night . I found a parked trailer on the side of the road so decided at the last second to use that as my crash site . I crashed my fathers truck but nothing was damaged on that trailer . I was devastated because my father had a lot of sentimental value concerning that truck and even though he left me responsible with it while I was using it to get to work I wrecked his vehicle . I called him to let him know what happened and he was very upset disgruntled and heartbroken . He didn’t exactly blame me but I could tell from the sound of his voice he still thought it was all my fault . He told me I was responsible to get it fixed but now I couldn’t work and very little savings to work with . The truck was a 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 with high miles but my father loved that truck with all his heart . This whole situation has put quite a strain on our relationship . We haven’t talked much since and have basically been non communicative since then . The whole front end of the truck is damaged and non operative so thats why I need your help . I got a few quotes and the cheapest one was right around 14k . If you’re interested in helping/donating please send any donations to my CashApp $AaronA1970, thanks in advance for your support .

Please help me continue to pay for my mother’s mortgage.

My mother passed away in June of 2024 and I’ve been paying her mortgage on her behalf, since I am her only child. I was able to stay afloat for some time due to savings and her death benefit. However, that only lasted so long with the mortgage, other bills, and expenses. I work part time in retail and cannot receive full time hours unless I work in a leadership position, which none are available at my store or the surrounding ones. I am actively looking for employment, but the job market is tight. I can only work so many hours, which makes it hard to pay for my mother’s mortgage and other bills. I am a full time student, which has made me lower my hours significantly. I would appreciate a donation of $6,000 just until I can find consistent employment/hours. This would cover 5 mortgage payments, which would help a lot. I am already behind on one payment and I don’t want to lose my mother’s house. Please help me.

URGENT: STL Drivers Need Help — Our Main Customer Didn’t Pay for 2 Months and Christmas Is Days Away

My name is Tony owner of STL.

I never thought I’d be here — asking for help from strangers right before Christmas — but the truth is, we’re out of options, and time is running out.

For the last two months, our main customer — the one responsible for most of our revenue — simply stopped paying us for completed work.

My drivers kept running loads every single day, delivering everything on time, trusting that the pay would follow.

It never came.

We hired a lawyer, started the legal process, and pushed hard to recover what is rightfully ours. But between unpaid invoices, legal fees, fuel, insurance, and payroll… STL ran out of money.

And now, days before the holidays, I have drivers — hardworking men and women with families — waiting for paychecks that should have been covered by the money we already earned.

These drivers did nothing wrong.

They kept their promise.

They delivered every load.

They trusted STL.

And right now, I’m fighting not to let them down.

We urgently need help to:

  • Cover overdue driver payroll
  • Keep our lawyer moving on the case so we can win back the money owed
  • Prevent STL from shutting down during Christmas week

I’m not asking for charity.

I’m asking for help to bridge a devastating gap caused by someone else’s failure to pay.

If we can make it through this moment — if we can take care of our drivers and keep the legal fight alive — STL can survive.

Without help, we won’t.

Anything you give today directly supports drivers’ paychecks during Christmas.

Every dollar goes to real families who earned their money but haven’t received it.

Thank you for reading.

Thank you for caring.

And thank you for helping us fight through a moment we never expected.

— Tony, STL
