Hello, I am Nitheesh.

Me and my family is going through a very painful financial crisis. My father died when i was 6 and from that time my mother raised me. She worked so hard, we are not from a financialy strong family. My mother tried many things for living, she did many works and even started some business. Everything failed. Now after 15 years we are in debt of amount of almost 65000 US Dollar. My mom is now 66 years old and My age is 25 years old. Yes I’m a late born child. I born after 12 years after my parent’s marriage.

We were 3 babies, after few hours of birth, my brother and sister died. I survived with the help of incubators and doctor’s skill.

I don’t know want to do, how will I pay back this 65000 US Dollars, I don’t know anything. Evey day I can’t sleep, when i close my eyes I’m afraid thinking about tommorow. It’s like a fire in my chest. I am working in Dubai, but my salary is too less as 2000 AED. And the expense in Dubai is also large for me. My Mom is getting old, she is getting sick, I don’t know what to do, Nobody is there to help us. I’m not able to take the pain in my chest. This is too much of a pressure for my young heart. My heart is paining. I’m not able to think with happiness. My throat is paining. I want to save my mother and myself. I don’t know how.

My mom’s health is very bad, I can’t even think of loosing her. I want money for treatment, for our debt, i don’t know how will i raise this big amount. I used to pray God every day. But it seem like God doesn’t like us. My mom borrowed money from some people and she send me to Dubai to work and make money. But situations in Dubai also very bad, few companies and people fooled me by offering fake job posting and took my money. But I finally got a job but salary is too less.

I got to know about this platform one day and It says there are lot of kind people in this world who will help me. Who are willing to donate me to help me in this painfully situation. May be this is a helping hand from God, I don’t know. I really beg you with hand in my chest. Please bless me with some money, it will really help me to at least stay strong in this situation. Every day I wake with pain in my throat and chest thinking about my mother’s life and my future.

Help Us Build a Dream Home for Our Kids: A Safe Haven for Their Future

My name is Dinesh and I live in Sri Lanka. I work in the tourism Industry as a chauffeur. I got married in March 2015. After the marriage, I came to my parent’s house with my wife. A few days later we both had to leave from my parents house due to the changes that happened to us which were not expected. So, We didn’t have a permanent house to go to, we had to rent out a small house with a room and kitchen that had very limited facilities and space. Due to the fact that the house was located near a railway track and had a very noisy environment, we managed to live in that house. 

Our first child came to my wife’s womb a few months later. I had to keep my wife at her mothers house as the environment was not suitable for her during the period of pregnancy. But the problem I faced was that there wasn’t enough space in that house for me to stay with her. Although I looked for a rental house where there is a suitable environment for both of us to live together. But I couldn’t find the place according to my budget where I could bear the cost with our economic level. So I left her with her mother and went back to my parents house reluctantly. That was the only thing we both had to do.  

From the time my daughter was conceived in my wifes womb to about a year after the daughter was born, we both had to live separately in two places. Therefore,everyday I traveled about 40 km from my place in the morning and evening to her place to check her needs and wants. During those times,No matter how sad I felt,I didn’t show it to her and tried to keep her as happy as possible.

I was trying to build my financial stability but I couldn’t afford to buy or rent a house at that time therefore I had to keep my child and wife with her mothers until I got stability. but since i couldn’t bear to keep them like that anymore. In 2017 I rented a house in a suitable environment for my daughter to live. Then again we could start to live together as a family.

Middle of  February 2019,our second child was  born in my wife’s womb. Having another child at that time was a great challenge and a happy thing for us as well after we passed over many difficulties and troubles.

Before two years had passed Sri Lanka was bomb attacked in several places  by extremists named Saharan on Easter Sunday April 21,2019. Due to this, a state of emergency was imposed in the country. Tourists felt that there was a clear  lack of security in Sri Lanka and the arrival of tourists dropped rapidly. This unexpected situation happened in the country, because of that I lost my job at the crucial stage of my wifes getting ready to deliver our second child at the end of the same year. After that, the economy of the country had fallen from time to time for about four months. Having a pregnant wife and two years old daughter I couldn’t properly provide them with the food and drinks they needed. As a result, financial stability which was slowly built in the midst of difficulties suddenly fell to a very low level and also due to this incident we were unable to pay the rent on time as we had started living in a rented house. After about 4 months later  the country returned to a certain level of normality and some foreigners started to visit,although the tourism was not as usual. I had to spend almost 5 months without any job.

19th November 2019,She  gave birth to our second child amid many troubles and obstacles and somehow I managed to bear all the problems. I thought that the future will be better for us. But before three months passed, worse time came again. At the middle of March 2020 the country was in lockdown due to the Covid-19 virus which was a Global epidemic. At the same time the tourism industry fell into an unimaginable abyss.The second time I lost my job again, because of an unexpected situation that occurred in Globally.I waited for about a year but it seemed that the pandemic situation wasn’t going to end-up.

It became very difficult to bear the expenses of two children, pay the rent of the house and the finance of the vehicle.For about three years I lost my profession and in the meantime my savings started to run out so I had to sell the only vehicle that I used for tourism because I couldn’t pay leasing for my vehicle. Fulfilling the needs of the house were the main problems that put me in a lot of trouble during the pandemic periode. There were many days when both my wife and I ate only one meal a day. No matter how difficult it was, every time we tried to fulfill our two kids’ needs and wants to the best of our ability, sometimes I had to sell some of my wife’s jewelry as well.In the midst of unbearable difficulties and pains I had to spend about three years. At the end of 2022, the world slowly started to recover again and the tourism industry of my country started to rise slowly from a deep depression.

Since 2017, we have been living in a rented house with our kids and now we have to move out of that house. From the end of 2022 I started working in the tourism industry again and I hope to use all the money I have saved to buy a house for my family to live without any fear in future. Unfortunately, there is a shortfall in the amount of money I have to buy the house I want to buy. The owner of that  house is asking for an amount of US $ 43,000/- (LKR 12,900,000/=)to sell the house. I have a shortfall of $ 16,000/- for that amount.

Please help me to rebuild my life!

Dear Donor,
I’m an Asian person, and my story is all about a lack of physical and mental health. I was born in 1986, and I have been working since 2005. It’s been 7 years in my motherland, 5 years in Qatar, and 8 years in the UAE. I always worked in hospitality (Banquet), and it’s quite hard, and most of the time I worked 16–18 hours of duty every day. When I was young, I was very energetic and dynamic. I am Chandrapala and I am from Sri Lanka. I am a small entrepreneur. I have a book shop. I started my small business in 2018. Before I started this shop I got a bank loan for it. I put all my properties(home & land)  to the bank as a collateral to get my bank loan. Unfortunately, we faced COVID-19 pandemic period and me and my family also suffered from this virus so I had to close my shop for a few months. After the COVID-19 pandemic period Sri Lanka’s economic situation was completely changed. The government decided to increase the bank loan monthly rental, so our monthly installment was increased. Then we couldn’t pay up the loan rental because our day-to-day cost of living( foods medicine etc.) also increased. All the costs are done by the shop’s profit, so we had to pawn the jewelry and sell my motorbike to maintain the shop and pay up the bank loan rental. So I could not pay up my loan properly because of that reason my loan had big areas. Sri Lankan government decided power cut daily(six hours per day) so this is the one of main problem of the low profit of the shop. I borrowed some money from my friends and some other neighbors to pay the bank loan. Not only that, the electricity bill, telephone bill, water bill and shop rental are also too high but the shop has no big profit. Some days I paid for all the things. After that I have no enough money to get the meals for my family. I really faced a big crisis. Now I have no one to ask help for me. I had no other income. As of today, my home and land will be owned by the bank. I have no money to release it. The bank gives us only six months  to release our home & land. For my business I got small loans to buy selling items and pay up my first loan. after the COVID-19 pandemic. Period. I’ve had no good profit from it so now I face a big crisis. I want to save my home and land but I have no enough money to release it. I just want $20000 to release my home and land. Without this property, we have no place to live. I have two children and both are below four years. My business has fallen down now. I try to increase it like before, but it has no selling items like before. I have no money to buy them. I have no other source of income, jewelry is also owned by the bank. Because of the COVID-19 period my business had fallen down and that period the goods were also very expensive so I had to pay the big cost of the goods(selling items).Now I just want to release my home and land from the bank because, without this home and land, we have no place to live. Two children with broken dreams

I am 34 years old i have two children girl and boy. The boy going to pre school. My family and i lived in a house that belonged to my mother. I worked as a field officer in a finance company. In march 2022 i severely injured my leg in a bike accident. Although i went back to work after 1 year, my leg injury came back again and again when i asked for three months leave i lost my job. I am currently 48 years old and have two children. The two Darawans are preparing for higher education with the intention of becoming a doctor and a chartered accountant. I was disabled in a terrible car accident in August 2022 and had to be hospitalized for several months. As a result, I lost my job as a filling station manager. I have taken a mortgage loan from a bank to build my house, and since I have no income after the accident, I could not pay the installments of the loan. The loan amount I have to pay is US$7500 (Sri Lanka Rupees 2300000). At present, due to non-payment of the loan, the bank has filed a case and is proceeding to transfer my house and land to the bank. Also, my two sons are doing their education, and to prevent their mental breakdown from interfering with their education,
None of these issues have been brought to their attention so far. They don’t know any of this. I cannot spoil their future dreams. My wife suffered an emergency 8 months ago and underwent abdominal surgery, she is still receiving treatment. She also has no job.

On June 07, 2024, the case related to my loan will be heard for the second time in the Badulla District Court, where the verdict will be announced. I must repay the loan amount on or about 07 June 2024. Currently I am in no position to repay the loan amount at all. Due to these reasons I am in a desperate situation and losing everything I have earned so far, the future of my children will be very unfortunate. Since they do not know any of this, I cannot imagine what situation they will be in. There is no point in living as a loser in such a situation.

I never thought of making such a request from you, the generous and kind-hearted people of the world. However, the critical moment is approaching me very quickly. Since I have no other option at this moment, I thought of directing my present situation to you, the kind-hearted, generous ones. For no other reason than that, The only option I can believe to get out of this situation is because of your kind hearts. Your little sacrifice gives me priceless value. That is because your actions will help to contribute a doctor and a chartered accountant to the world in the near future.

Even though I am faced with many challenging problems that I cannot solve, I cannot run away from problems. My only goal is to successfully complete the education of my two sons and make them useful citizens for the country and the world. From that, I was able to meet the income required for my daily needs to some extent.

A desperate poor and Sick woman, Please help!

Today, I come to you with a humble plea for financial assistance. I am in difficult situation, unemployed and indebted heavily. I am lonely sick person who has spent ninety years of my life taking care of my now deceased family members, both whom were bedridden. URGENTLY NEED HELP WITH MY MORTGAGE

I’m reaching out to you with a heartfelt request. There is no one to listen to my story. Since then, there has been no one to help me in this situation. I cried very much, every night I shed tears, and no one could listen. I wrote my colleagues and friends, but they never helped me. I only ask for a job. No one gives me a job. Let me introduce myself. I am a mother in my late 30s to 2 children who are both less than 10 years old. I moved to the middle east last year when I got a job opportunity hoping to give a better life to my children and support my aging parents’ medical expenditures. I have been supporting my family’s expenditure as a single earning member here in the past year.

Unfortunately, after a year of trying to set up a home here with a lot of pain, I am facing an unexpected and a sudden job loss. I do not have any savings as I was just settling down with the kids. I need to now move back to my home country within a month as my employment visa will be cancelled and I will be able to go back only if I can pay the penalty rent (for breaking the contract) of 4 months to my landlord. I have sent my children back to my country already as I could not manage my expenses with them or even support them and I am looking forward to joining them without facing any legal hassles. I am worried I am stuck here in the foreign country with no job or support. I am a mother to 2 little children and they’re waiting for my return every day.
