Drowning and need help!

To whom it may concern,

In 2017 tragedy struck my mom fell ill and was
no longer able to care for herself as she would never walk again due to Neuropathy due to Diabetes and other health issues. While she was in rehabilitation I realized it was not good and they were not taking care of her as her family would. They would leave her in her briefs for hours on end sitting in her feces and urine. I chose to bring my mom into my home and take care of her as it was the right thing to do in my eyes and my heart anyway.

Well Needless to say I left my job that I loved for almost 19 years. But my mom needed me and that’s what I did. I took care of her, from being bathed changed doctors appointments everything that one would need for care, things that she had done for me growing up. As time went by I realized how expensive supplies were to take care of a medically challenged person. I found myself using credit just to be sure she had what she needed that insurance would not cover.

I lost my mom in 2021. After paying for her cremation I went over my finances I found that I had sucked myself into $108,000 debt more than I could ever think to find myself between her expenses and my home. I needed a job and was able to find one working full time and was able to get a start on paying off the debt but again more unforeseen circumstances my grandbaby needed me and because I was working full time I had no choice but to drop myself down to part-time you see my grandbaby has autism and needs care pretty much around the clock. No one else could understand autism not even other family members so I made a vow my grandbaby was my family and I would take care of my family until my last breath.

I have been making ends meet but it seems at times I have to use credit again and
again for medical needs I can honestly say I was able to get my debt down to $78,000 but I am still sinking and to be honest, once again I feel as if I am drowning with this debt. I have never been one to ask for help I would rather suffer but I realized sometimes we all need a hand up.

I just wanted to reach out to see if there are still good people in this world hoping someone would want to reach out to help me stop drowning all I am trying to do is take care of my family one moral I find is scarce within this world these days doing what is right should not be so hard at times I don’t wanna lose my home of over 20 years and that is why I am reaching out today. I hope someone out there can find it in their heart to help someone who is only trying to do the right thing by her family.

Thank you for taking the time to read about my financial issue even if you do not want to help thank you for allowing me to take your time.

Best regards

Karen Noland

Help a Student with Cancer

Dear Friends, I hope this message finds you in good health and spirits. My name is Victoria. I am an international student, currently pursuing my master’s degree in Technology, with a specialization in Energy market and Computer Engineering at a University in Germany. I have always been passionate about personal development through learning and I commit to making a meaningful difference in the world. I had stable employment until the demise of my husband when things took a downhill turn, making it increasingly difficult to support myself especially after I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My family has been a great source of support for me. But now as my situation has become more complex with multiple cancer-related surgeries, which include a Mastectomy, a Brain tumor surgery, and a hysterectomy in December 2024, they are no longer able to help as they would have if they can afford it. Unfortunately, we all lack the financial resources to do so. Despite these challenges, I still strive to complete my Masters Degree. My medical situations have been overwhelming and have made it very challenging to have a regular student job, which is grossly inadequate to pay my bills. I am above the age of 30 and do not have statutory health insurance coverage. The private insurance I signed up for, declined the payment of my medical bills as they claim it is a preexisting condition. While I am courageously fighting this disease, the financial burden of medical and living expenses has become insurmountable. To complete my studies, I need to extend my student residence visa to the end of the winter semester in 2026. This is because the surgeries have extended my studies for another year. The visa extension application requires me to provide a funded account, with a minimum balance of 5.000 Euros as proof of fund for living expenses. I currently do not have this amount and I am unable to raise it from a student job. I risk losing my student status, as I urgently need to apply for a student visa extension to complete my studies. Apart from the funded account, I require the monthly purchase of these prescriptions: Zoladex tablets which cost 235 Euros, and letrozol at 53.42 Euro respectively. These are to control the cancer and minimize its spread. I am raising funds to help me resolve these issues. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a world of difference in helping me to continue my studies and fight against this cancer with the treatments that I desperately need. In times of hardship, it is the support of compassionate individuals like you that gives people like me the strength to keep going. I am thankful and I cannot express enough how deeply grateful I am for any help you can provide. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and for standing with me in this critical moment. Your generosity is a beacon of hope, to ensure that I can complete my studies while attending to my health.

With heartfelt gratitude, Victoria

A Heartfelt Appeal for Support to Complete My Master’s Degree in Public Health

My name is Thomas Opiyo, a dedicated Kenyan student with a profound passion for public health. I am reaching out to share my journey and humbly ask for your support in completing my Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Southern Mississippi.

In the Fall of 2024, I embarked on this academic adventure, filled with hope and determination. I successfully completed my first semester, immersing myself in the knowledge and skills that will empower me to make a difference in my community. However, due to unforeseen financial challenges, I was unable to continue my studies into the Spring of 2025. The burden of an $8,000 fee forced me to return to Kenya, leaving my dreams momentarily on hold.

Today, I am reaching out to compassionate individuals who can help me bridge this gap. Your support—no matter how small—can make a monumental difference in my life and the lives of those I aspire to serve. If you prefer, donations can be made directly to the University’s account, ensuring that every dollar goes towards my education.

Completing this degree is not just a personal goal; it is a commitment to giving back to my Kenyan community. With the knowledge I gain, I aim to address pressing public health issues and contribute positively to society.

Thank you for considering my appeal. Your generosity could help turn my dreams into reality and allow me to become a beacon of hope for others.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Thomas Opiyo, Donations can come through my account through my zelle by typing to583919@ohio.edu

Please Assist with Legal Fees

I’ve come to the conclusion that I need assistance with the legal fees for my past custody case.  Initially, I was able to keep up with the payments from my attorney.  As the case progressed, my child’s father countersued me.  At that point, the judge would schedule meetings for the case to be handled.  My child’s father lives out of town and wouldn’t show up and or call to make the team aware that the court date needed to be altered.  This caused me to have to pay for legal representation at times when there wasn’t anything happening with the case.

As a result, I’m behind on my payments.  The firm is also adding interest to the total balance.  Right now, I owe the law firm $18,947.65.  Each time I tried to get a hold on this balance, life would happen.

A devastating loss has left me in a crisis

Life has been incredibly difficult lately, and I find myself in a position I never imagined—reaching out for help. As a disabled veteran living on a fixed income, I do my best to make ends meet, but an unexpected tragedy has left me struggling to keep up with my mortgage and utility bills, which are now at risk of disconnection.

On December 9th, we took my sweet baby boy to a different veterinary clinic for a second opinion after some concerning health issues. Just two days later, on December 11th, he took a turn for the worse, and we rushed him to Pittsburgh Emergency Animal Hospital. There, we learned that in addition to his laryngeal paralysis, he was also severely diabetic. The veterinarians tried their best to stabilize him, but it was just too much for his little body to handle. I held him in my arms as we said our final goodbyes, and the pain of that moment is something I don’t think I will ever recover from. I can’t shake the feeling that I failed him, even though I know I did everything I could.

The unexpected costs of his emergency care, combined with my already limited income, have put me in a financial crisis. I am now behind on my mortgage, and my utilities are scheduled for disconnection. I am humbly asking for any help, no matter how small, to keep a roof over my head and the lights on as I try to navigate this heartbreaking time. If you are able to donate or even just share my story, it would mean the world to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Left bad relationship with absolutely nothing but mental health problems and need help

Hi, I’m Ashley. I live in Alberta, Canada. I finally, after four miserable years supporting my narcissistic boyfriend who was awful towards me, realized that I used to be so confident, but now not so much. He bugged me about my teeth (which were supposed to be fixed, but he took that money too) and my weight. He would cheat and always made it my fault. I was so close to the money I needed to buy my home until I was with him, supporting him, and what did it get me? Nothing but anxiety problems. I can talk to people this way, but face to face, it’s not so easy.

It’s sad it took him throwing a can of kerosene and a torch lighter at me to finally be done with it, but before that, things weren’t good at all. I made a stupid promise that I wouldn’t ever give up on him, and that was thrown in my face forever. Now I’m left with nothing, barely making it by. My landlord informed me he would be taking back the place in October unless I have the money to buy it, which I’m now starting to try to do to get on my feet again. It hasn’t been easy, so I’m Here maybe someone will hear my story and wanna help. Thanks for your time

Help Oromo Relief Association UK

Help Oromo Relief Association UK Secure Office Rent and Continue Crucial Support for Refugees

We are the Oromo Relief Association UK (www.oromoreliefassociationuk.com), a small yet dedicated charity serving the Oromo community and refugees from Ethiopia since 1982. Over the years, we have become a lifeline for many individuals navigating the difficult and often traumatic journey of seeking asylum in the UK. Despite our invaluable contributions to the community, we face a significant challenge that threatens our ability to continue our essential services: we are struggling to pay the office rent.

As a small charity, we rely heavily on donations from kind-hearted individuals, other NGOs, and the support of our members to continue our work. However, our funding is limited, and the cost of maintaining a physical space where we can meet with clients, offer advice, and provide essential services is becoming increasingly difficult to cover.

The services we offer are crucial for the well-being of the people we assist. Our primary mission is to guide refugees and asylum seekers through the complex and often confusing asylum process. This includes offering free and impartial advice, providing interpreting services, and helping individuals navigate the welfare system. Our office acts as a safe space where refugees can meet with advisors who understand their language, culture, and unique challenges. Without our office, many individuals would be left with nowhere to turn, and their chances of successfully integrating into the UK would be significantly diminished.

In addition to supporting individuals through the asylum process, we also help with signposting refugees to other vital services such as legal aid, healthcare, housing, and mental health support. Our work is not just about providing information; it’s about offering hope, guidance, and practical support at a time when our clients feel lost and uncertain about their future.

Without the funding to secure our office space, we risk being forced to scale back or even shut down some of these essential services. This would leave many refugees and asylum seekers without the crucial support they need during one of the most challenging times in their lives. Our office is not just a physical space; it is the heart of our operations and the base from which we can serve our community effectively.

We are reaching out to you today with a heartfelt appeal for your support. If you are able to donate to help us cover the cost of our office rent, it will directly contribute to keeping our services running and ensuring that we can continue to offer vital assistance to refugees who depending on us.

Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in our ability to keep our doors open and continue our work. With your help, we can ensure that the Oromo Relief Association UK remains a beacon of support and hope for refugees from Ethiopia and beyond.

Please consider donating today to help us cover the Rent we need to secure our office space and continue our life-changing work. Your generosity will make a lasting impact on the lives of those who need it most.

Request for Support for Underprivileged Children

Dear Sir/Madam

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Alexander, and I am reaching out to you today with a heartfelt request for support. I am deeply concerned about the welfare of underprivileged children in our community in Africa who face numerous challenges in accessing basic necessities like education, healthcare, and nutrition.

These children often lack the resources and opportunities that many of us take for granted. Their families struggle to provide them with the support they need to thrive, and as a result, these young individuals are at risk of falling behind in their development and future prospects.

I am eager to contribute to making a positive impact on their lives, but I need your help.I believe that together, we can make a significant difference.

Here are some ways in which your support could be invaluable:

  1. Education Support: Providing educational materials, scholarships, or access to educational programs can help these children stay in school and build a brighter future.

  2. Healthcare Access: Ensuring they receive regular health check-ups and have access to medical care when needed is crucial for their well-being.

  3. Nutritional Assistance: Offering meal programs or food assistance can help combat hunger and malnutrition, allowing them to grow and develop healthily.

Your support would not only improve the lives of these children but also inspire hope and resilience within their families and communities.

Thank you for considering this request. I look forward to the possibility of working together to create a more equitable and supportive environment for these deserving children.

Warm regards,

Alexander

Rent for the 8 months lockdown took my debt to $40000. I have paid $10000 so far but I need help. I have 2 children in the university and a third is getting in next year. I need help to clear the bank debt.

Grieving, Healing & Building a Sanctuary of Hope—Please Help

Hi everyone,

In 2020, I lost the love of my life to demons he couldn’t conquer. That loss shattered my world. I was a forensic phlebotomist, stable and steady—but grief swallowed me whole. I lost my career, my home, and for the past five years, I’ve been trying to survive while struggling with homelessness.

Now, thanks to therapy and support, I finally have a clear vision. And I want to turn all this pain into something good—not just for me, but for others too.

My Dream: A Self-Sustaining Desert Sanctuary

I’m raising funds to build a 100% green-energy farm on 10 acres in Desert Hot Springs, CA. Built with Earthship principles (solar, wind, water collection, recycled materials), this will be a place of healing, growth, and opportunity.

Here’s what it will offer:

• A farm that grows food for the needy

• Artist studios for welding, pottery, glass blowing, metal work, and more—free to use

• Small cabins for people in crisis, offering short-term housing while they rebuild

What I Need to Start:

• $15,000 for land

• $3,500 to fix my broken truck (vital for transport)

• $3,000 for Earthship Academy in New Mexico

• $5,000 for immediate living costs during this transition

I’ll be building everything with recycled and donated materials—tires, bottles, cans, and whatever I can salvage.

This isn’t just a dream. It’s a mission. I’ve lived through hopelessness. Now I want to build hope for others.

HELP PAYING BILLS AFTER EMERGENCY SURGERY!!!

On January 16, 2025  I had to have emergency spine surgery. The reason I had to have surgery is because I had a bulging disk ( Dr’s said was fine) but it completely ruptured. I had L-5 – S-1  cartilage replaced with a metal cartilage and a fusion where there are pins and screws holding my spine together. I’ve been out of work since November because I could hardly walk, because I was having problems with my back. Going to the Dr where I was told it’ll be fine and my back was hurting more because the bulging disk and my spine was shifting. Despite everything going on with me, my husband has continued to work only taking off the day I had surgery and two days when I came home. ( I had family help drive me around)  We also have 3 small children. But unfortunately we not able to pay our bills on just my husbands income. We’re 3 months behind on rent (we pay what we can, but we’re told will no longer work). But with the car payments, insurance, rent, lights, food, new medical bills and all our small bills. Plus gas to the Dr.(the spine Dr is a 2 hour drive each way, we live in a small town and have to drive to the city) we just can’t keep up or pay our outstanding rent balance to not get evicted. As soon as the Dr clears me to go back to work I am. But so far I haven’t got cleared and I might have to go back in for another surgery because my L-4 and L-3 shifted and it’s affecting the previous work.
Please if your able to help it would be tremendously appreciated.

Mortage catch up

Hello,

First, let me THANK  YOU for reading my post.  Now, I will attempt to explain the situation I have gotten into and am requesting help getting out of.

I am a registered nurse with 28 years of experience and I have been married to my husband for 27 years.  We have 4 kids ages 26, 24, 18, 16 years old.  The 24 yr old is happily married and the other 3 live with us.  We were living in the same town that my husband and I grew up in and graduated from with family close.

I had the opportunity to leave my job of 7 years and move my family to Alaska to work at the Anchorage VA Medical Center in Anchorage.  I was able to buy a 3 bedroom home in Wasilla AK and commute to Anchorage for work.  I moved up in Sept of 2023 and my family came up in Dec 0f 23 after the kids got out of school for the winter holiday.

My husband was unable to find a stable job until Nov of 24 which was totally not how we thought this adventure would go.  This lack of additional income placed a serious strain on our finances and I fell behind in the mortgage payments and I am expecting to get foreclosure papers any day now.

I thought I would be able to afford living here but it is very clear that I cant support my family and pay all the bills.  I have begun looking for other employment in the lower 48 states but not with the VA as this job is so far from what I was lead to believe it would be it and my stress level is out of this world at the moment that I am actually considering getting out of nursing all together.

I have ruined my credit at this point due to falling behind in my credit cards and the mortgage.  I have managed to stay up to date with my car payment so I can say I have accomplished that much.

I am asking for $8,000 to catch up with the mortgage so we can sell the house and move out of Alaska.  Any  help anyone can provide will be appreciated more than you can imagine!   I take full responsibility for placing us in this situation and have never asked anyone for any help before but I am asking now.

Thank you for reading my post!  If anyone choses to help with this mess I have made of things my VENMO is: @Nicole-Hazelton-2
