Older Disabled Women Needs Dental Help

I am a 68 year old woman who has MS.  I had to retire early because of my condition and therefore was not able to maximize my retirement.  I have no family and therefore have only myself to rely on.  I live off my disability check which is usually sufficient but not much more.

But disaster struck a few months ago.  Two root canals and 2 crowns.  When did dental care get so expensive?  I had to have the work done and now am paying $4oo per month.  That does not leave me much of a buffer each month .  And there are 4 more payments.

I had a little savings but that is gone now and I am very scared that some other emergency will rise and they what will become of me.

I need $500 to get a new PC

As the title says, I need around $500 USD to be able to afford a new PC. I have a around $500 saved up from my own paychecks, birthday money, etc. I would just wait and save up myself, but the laptop I current do everything on is on it’s last leg. It constantly blue screens, runs slow, freezes, and more. I am extremely worried that it will die on me and I will have no replacement.
I need a PC for my online school. If my laptop were to die on me I’d have no way to do my schooling. I would like to get a decent PC so that I wont have to worry about replacing it anytime soon, which is why I’m asking for so much. With is PC I hopefully wont have to worry about it crashing every time I try to do something. I can’t even download something without my current laptop freezing up and me not being able to do anything.

Lost Child after giving birth, missed work, getting evicted

Whoever seems to come across this, I just want to thank you for even being here and considering helping someone you dont know. This year has been really heartbreaking and draining for me. I have worked all my life and found myself fighting for my life and my child’s life. I followed all the doctors order, I missed so much work. I fell behind on everything but I just knew it would all be worth it in the end. I suffered for 9 months. In and out of the hospital,  bed rest, my entire body itching uncontrollably.  I just kept pushing forward. I reached the end and I was just so ready for to my baby girl. I was so ready and excited. I woke up in the middle of the night in labor. I dont have a support system so I drove myself to the hospital but something wasn’t right. I was losing fluids non stop. I get to the hospital and they push me to the side for almost an hour. The doctor finally comes, I deliver naturally but I dont hear a cry. Then 4-5 more doctors rush in, they tell me my baby is having a hard time breathing and she has to be flown to children’s, she never makes it to children’s. No one can tell me why I dont have a child and I am completely lost. I am trying to move forward but it is so hard. I’ve returned to work but now I’m 2 months behind in my rent totalling over $4000, my internet I need for work is soon going to be disconnected and I lost my only means of transportation because I was told I couldn’t leave the hospital until my blood sugar was normal. Going back to school to becoming a Mental Health Counselor: Tuition and Expenses

Good evening, Kind people,

I am asking for help with funds to cover expenses for a few months to return to college. In 2012, I was enrolled in my last year of completing my bachelor’s degree in journalism, but I was also 8 months pregnant. While in my last year, I gave birth to my healthy beautiful baby boy, and I was able to complete the semester I was attending. However, the matriarch of my family my grandmother died of congestive heart failure within months of my son’s birth, who I was living with while carrying my son, sending my family into chaos.

Well, life happens, after having my son I had to leave my grandmother’s home and get into another apartment and go back to work full time, while nursing, and getting acquainted to motherhood. Suddenly, there was no time to finish, I always planned to go back to school and finish once my son left his newborn stage and became more independent, but my plans never came to fruition as the demands of life and responsibilities always took precedence. My son just graduated from elementary school and after much self-reflection, I lack fulfillment in my current profession and have discovered my passion for mental health and desire to become a licensed mental health counselor.

Now, we come back to my unfinished bachelor’s degree. I recently contacted the university I attended and worked with a counselor and discovered I am only a semester away from graduating with my bachelors. Due to being a full-time single mom and employee, I would have to break those credits into two semesters and then viola! I will have my bachelor’s degree, which will clear the path for me to attend graduate school to obtain my Masters in Mental Health to become a licensed counselor.

Why now you ask? Why not continue life as I have lived it? When I attended college previously, if I am being honest, it was out of duty, I chose a major that I still love but I lacked clarity, focus, and direction. In the many years that have since passed, I have developed clarity, focus, direction, and passion. I know what I want to become, who I am inside, and I want to take the steps to fulfil that for my future and to set an example to my son, that even if you get sidetracked. You can always finish and seek destiny and purpose.

I am requesting $5000 dollars. The money will be used to pay for tuition, books, a previous balance that I had with the school when I left. Hello, I am on here as my last resort to save my house and prevent homeless. Since 2015 I have dealt with a multitude of financial and emotional blows. It started when my mother passed away (I was only 22 and did not handle it well emotionally) and after my house had been bought my partner, who was on the mortgage as well, became abusive and refused to pay bills and left everything up to me which put us behind on mortgage repayments. I put up with this for 3 years, which put us in severe arrears, before police had to get involved but I was not strong enough to deal with the fallout of losing my house since my mothers inheritance helped me with the deposit. Fast forward a few years and we were both made redundant due to COVID-19 however he picked up delivery driving. It took me 2.5 years to secure another job but my contract finished June 2023. At this time I was also dealt with the blow of my grandmother becoming terminally ill with cancer my grandpa needing to go into Aged Care due to debilitating health my partners dogs turning on mine (10k worth of vet bills required), him leaving to join the army and backing out during the last 3 weeks of training and only securing a job in March which he hates.
