We are a crossfit style gym in Texas that opened on January of 2020. We specialize in helping our community move better and build healthier lifestyle habits. The environment that has been built here is very welcoming and not intimidating. New members are received with arms wide open and members usually stay for a long time.

The reason I am asking for funds is that we have debt that we owe and would also like to have some working capital. During the pandemic, my credit suffered and have not been able to obtain loans. I have applied for grants but they do take a while. We are need of $15,000

Please help me get back on my feet. I am a mum and struggling to make ends meet. I am scared I am going to lose my home.

I am in debt, roughly £30,000. I have long term mental health problems and have not been able to make the right money making decisions and now I am in such a mess. I can’t get help from debt solution companies as it will affect my mortgage. I am struggling to make the payments now and I am scared I am going to lose my home and I just need help. Help A Family Save their Home and means to Provide for Themselves

Greetings I am an IATSE film crew worker currently in grave danger of losing my home and my car.  For those not familiar, I am what is referred to as a Below-The-Line worker in the film/production industry. Like most IATSE workers, I have been devastatingly affected by the Hollywood strikes and the state of the industry over the past two years. For the last decade and a half, I have earned a reasonable middle-class living working in the film industry as a worker bee. I have always been someone who plays by the rules and does things the right way. I have worked hard, lived modestly, have contributed to my community, and other charities when times were good financially. However, at this point, I am on the verge of falling further into a financial sinkhole that I may never recover from for the rest of my life. My partner and I have a three-month-old baby and work/gigs have been few and far between for both of us throughout this turbulent time. I do not live or seek to live an extravagant lifestyle. I have a very modest home in the city of Atlanta and a very modest car to get me from point A to point B. Atlanta is a true commuter city with less than ideal-public transportation. Additionally, when I work on a project I am sometimes required to drive to different locations to perform job-related tasks. In the event of getting independent gigs that are not related to the film industry in Atlanta Georgia as a whole, having a car is a necessity for earning a living.
For the better part of a year and a half, I have completed over 400 applications to companies both statewide and nationwide. I have applied on numerous job boards during this time. Something that many of my fellow IATSE film crew workers will attest to is that corporations/companies/firms are reluctant to hire people from the film industry, even though many of us have decades of experience. One of the reasons I’ve been given through numerous rejection communications is the fear of companies that film crew people will up and leave as soon as a Production comes calling. The industry has suffered a cataclysmic shift following the strikes of 2023 and many film crew workers are seeking to move away from the production industry if they can. I am continually applying, seeking work, speaking with recruiters, attending job fairs, etc. I am not sitting back, waiting for the film industry to rebound. However, as I have mentioned before, I am in grave jeopardy of losing my most valuable asset at this point, which is my home. Please I am asking the universe and generous empathetic people out there to aid me in my time of need. I need  $15,000 to save my home and my car. That would be a huge blessing to me and my family as we head into the holidays.

Help Us Keep Our Home During a Difficult Time

Hello, my name is Laurie Heather, and I’m reaching out during a challenging period in my life.
Since the end of November 2023, I’ve been unemployed after my position as a Corporate Recruiter was eliminated due to a reduction in force. Despite my dedicated job search over the past 10.5 months, opportunities in my field are extremely limited, and I’ve struggled to find work in other roles within the Recruiting field and outside of my field.
My spouse is also unemployed due to a layoff as a Paralegal starting the beginning of this summer. He has also been struggling to find work in his field and outside of his field.
We have both been applying for regular and contract work.  We have gotten many interviews but we are competing against many other candidates and do not get to the finish line. We both spend long hours networking, applying, and interviewing for positions.
Please, we are seeking help to cover our past mortgage payments and essential monthly living costs including food. We receive EBT benefits for food but it isn’t enough to cover the four of us. With my unemployment benefits and our mortgage forbearance period having expired, we urgently need funds to ensure we can keep our home and maintain stability during this uncertain time. Our mortgage company is threatening foreclosure and we don’t want to lose this house as my elderly in-laws live here too. We had asked them last year to move from their home to our home to live with us. They weren’t able to manage on their own without help from my spouse and I.

I Got Hacked!

Hello, my name is, Marisela G.

My life’s been a roller coaster, like forever & a day. Full of ups and downs .

However, for the past 4-5 years, my life’s been improving.

…at least, I would like to think so.

I stared by “paying it forward”.

Pretty soon I became my, visually impaired, older brother’s IHSS Provider. I am employed by the state of  CA. Plus I work for a restaurant, as well.

I finally have a bank account and was able to keep money in it.

Not to mention, I also help my parents, financially, they both live in Mexico.

I finally get my driver’s license back after 13 years ago when it got revoked. And I thought to my self, “it’s time to plan for a car”, a new car I can depend on.  Well my credit score isn’t too good, I’ve been taking out loans and paying them back to help boost my score.

So, sometime, someplace I caught the attention of a f***en hacker that got me for everything and more!     (a cry for HELP)

I am so mad at myself. How could I not seen it happening?

So he call my cell phone, talking about he works with a loan co. He can help me boost my credit score and help me get a $15,000 loan I had applied for but was denied., So my dumbass fell for it. his “company” deposited a total of 7 checks in my bank account in a matter of 48hrs.

How was I to know this wasn’t legit. I’m new at this banking game. Damn it!

And had me buying prepaid Wal-mart cards, and take and send pictures back to him. ( I wish I’d seen the red flags, but I didn’t.)

I thought nothing of it. My bank’s usually good for that, they investigate the check before releasing the funds. I don’t know what happen.?

Now I’m $8,000 plus, in the hole. My rent is due. My bills are piling up. I don’t know what to do. My bank has frozen all my accounts. I had to stop my direct deposits. So now I waiting on paper checks through the mail. Meanwhile this hacker keeps calling me asking me to open another bank account, he’ll help me clear up the misunderstanding with my bank. I’m hoping to get more info. on himself, so I can report him.

Meanwhile I don’t know what to do… my credit score is worst than ever now.

And if it weren’t enough, last night I twisted my ankle,  I think its sprained. I had to call off work today. And I’m still carless.

Somebody please help me? I feel as if I’m falling apart…

Seeking kindness in a tough time

I am posting this with a humble heart. I find myself in a challenging situation that I never expected to face, and I’m seeking your support to help me turn things around.

I am currently facing crippling debt, a result of a series of unfortunate circumstances that spiraled beyond my control. My name is Christie, and I never thought I would find myself in a position where I need to ask for help. For years, I was trapped in an emotionally and physically abusive relationship with my husband. It took every ounce of courage I had to finally leave with my son and move out of state for our safety. In the process, I had to sign over temporary exclusive use of the home I worked so hard to buy, leaving us with nothing until it sells.

I’m a mortgage lender, but with the current state of the housing market, it took far longer than I expected to secure a new job. Unfortunately, the job I have now brings in a fraction of what I was making, especially since I’m not yet receiving commissions.

My son has been staying with his father, but he’s coming back to live with me next week, and I need to secure a safe place for us to live. Right now, I’ve been sleeping in my car, and it’s been incredibly difficult to manage without basic needs like regular showers or even a bed to sleep in. I’ve gone from a $400,000 home to sleeping in my car, and every day I wake up hoping that this is all just a bad dream.

surgery….desperately in need!!!!

hello, my name is matthew, i am here today out of desperation and last resort, to express that my wife, sarah, and i are in dire financial straits. i lost my job in october of last year and decided to start my own craftsman for hire business in december. which has been off to a slow start but enough work to get by, my last job ended in may just as another flare up of my divatictulitus started,  which is usually gone in a few days of antibiotics, but this time was different, the pain just kept coming back. i have since been thru 4 rounds of antibiotics till i finally broke down and went to the er they put me on iv antibiotics and then more pills upon release after being told by the surgeon i needed to have a colectomy asap. i am now on the other side of surgery still with quite a road of recovery ahead of me and another reversal surgery of the ileostomy bag they had to  stick me with temporarily till late november early december, so needless to say i’ll be out for a while longer sadly.

to make things worse at the end of august my wife had an old cc debt that we were paying on, but because of hardships had to cut our bills down to essentials, that went to court and got judgement rendered for garnishment, without notice to us, the first we knew about it was after i went to the bank to find out why i woke up to nearly $2200, all but $20 in our acct was on hold as pending withdraw, i thought it was a fraud attempt till the bank told me it was a judgement. and gave me a copy, the notice of judgement they mailed didn’t come for another week and a half!!!

all this time ive been down i have been trying to find a way to bring in some kind of extra money online looking for work from home jobs and even trying affiliate marketing to no avail thus far, but i just recently came across a youtube video by a guy named andrew cartwright talking about this website, i’ve been thinking about it for about 2 weeks now, its not easy for me to ask for help, but my wifes income is just not sufficient to cover us, my cc debt is climbing, our savings is now gone, and we have reached the point of desperation which is why i now find myself here.

and now to top all this hardship off my wife had back surgery in august of 2020 and has recently been experiencing a numbness in her left leg and some intense back pain our doc referred her for a mri and now to a neurosurgeon to find out that she is now in immediate need of a second back surgery or she runs the extreme risk of becoming paralyzed from the waste down, and because of the degenerative disease she has,   there are issues in her neck as well that will eventually need surgery because that could cause total paralysis.

Please help if you can

So basically, I had enough of constantly working for someone else and getting peanuts for my hard work. All my life I was working for people that didn’t appreciated my hard work financially and in a combination of having nobody to teach me about life, I found out too late that I suppose to get a career before having a family. And since I was taking care of them and myself, I never managed to accumulate funds to start something of my own. Well… once a little cleaning business, but my girlfriend drove it to the ground because she knows better. So I gave up on the idea to do something together, but since I am a hard worker and I love driving. I became a taxi driver. Unfortunately driving for someone else, pay is not the greatest, but not bad and since I have a family, there is always something to spend money on, from rent to bills, medical bills, I just don’t have enough money to get my own taxi and since the company will be closing down in about 2 – 3 months, I need to figure out what to do next so here I am. Begging strangers to help me. The last resort as I hate to owe money. I have two options. Buy a used car that I drive now, but the owner is very greedy and he is asking for £20k for vehicle that costs about 16k or to buy new-ish vehicle that I found on website that is selling taxis for £33k. I have a loan that I am paying, about £3k left from 11k that I took so that would be added to the amount so I would end up paying only one thing and not more because I don’t want these funds for free. I am willing to sign a contract with someone to pay these money back. I love driving, I would love to keep driving, clients are happy with me and would happily use me after the company shuts down, so work is there just I am missing funds. Need help with rent

Hey!

I am needing help with this months rent that is now a week late, I am looking for $1300 to cover my rent and the late fees before I get an eviction notice, I have lived in my place for 4 years and recently a property management company has taken over for the landlords as they are dealing with some health issues. In the past being late paying for rent wouldn’t have been a big deal as I would just talk to them and they were super understanding, the property management company not so much.
Little back story -I lost my job back in February and thankfully only went a month without working, I make less money my job now I make less money than my previous job. I was aware of that when I accepted the job obviously, but it’s an amazing place to work in all ways but the pay (Which isn’t horrible) and I have managed up until this last month. Between making less money and the cost of life continuously going up I have been struggling financially to keep up on top of everything the last couple months with how expensive everything is right now. This last paycheck after groceries and bills, I was left with only $200 which is nowhere near what I need for my rent and I can not afford to get evicted and to have to find a new place to live. I have no family near by and no one to help me right now in any way. I am currently working on getting myself out of this situation I find myself in by working on my credit to get a loan to help with a few things and I am in the process of trying to find a second job, but it’s gonna take a few months before I am back on even ground – money wise.

 I struggle with my mental health and the fact I haven’t been able to pay my rent yet is really starting to affect me along with a few other things, I am starting to get overwhelmed and just want to cry. I hate that I’ve put myself in this position. My Car is a Senior Citizen Begging for Major Repairs!

Yes indeed! Hello! Here’s the situation. Because I got laid off my job almost one year ago, and I’m still out of work, I had to stop saving money to get my car repaired so that I could pay rent and bills with it, along with my $179 a week unemployment, which has been fully depleted since last spring.

Let me tell you the history of my old car. I bought this car from the dealership back in November of 1999. That’s right! It’s a year 2000 millennial car that I drove brand new off the lot! It is approaching its 25th birthday next month! Can you believe it? It’s older than Gen-Zs and even some of the Millennials walking around out there. It’s probably in better shape too!

I used to say: “I’ve got to take my car to the hospital!” The hospital? Oh, I mean the dealership. That’s the only place this car has ever gone for repairs. If it could talk, it would testify to such.

The thing is that as we and our cars get older, we start to break down (knee replacement, hearing aids, incontinence, etc.). In terms of a car, various rubbers and sealants harden up from the summer heat and wear and tear, certain parts need to be repaired or replaced, and the usual breakdown that is expected as time goes on from car parts.

My car has never been in a car accident, so it’s never had to go to a body shop for anything. I keep the car clean and in mint condition with all the replacement parts being OEM and genuine. I want to stretch out its use until its last breath! Right now, there’s only about 188,000 miles on it. It’s a Maxima, which means it should easily be able to drive another 100,000 miles because Japanese cars are engineered so darn well!

After getting a second opinion, the first major part that needs replacement is the timing chain (belt), which encompasses at least 10 components including: 3 or 4 timing chains, guides, tensioners, water pump, various gaskets, seals, and fluids. It is a major undertaking including the labor. That alone is around $6,000. The second major repair is the water outlet and valve assembly which has something to do with the upper radiator hose that has a corroded tube. The replacement part and labor is about $2,000. So we’re looking at $8,000. If you are in a position to do so, an additional $2,000 or more would help me toward rent and bills while I look for work, so we’re talking around $10,000 or more if you can spare it.

Until these repairs are done, because of the corroded tubes and worn out hoses that must be replaced, I cannot use my air conditioner in the summer or my heater in the winter. I can’t even use the defroster, which is a hazard because I obviously have to be able to look out the window to see where I’m driving! So that’s a problem. That’s why I can only drive in the middle of the day and not in the rain when the window fogs up.

Just in case it crossed your mind, I have zero interest in a new car for many reasons: (1) My car is better made than new cars today, in my humble opinion. (2) I’ve put so much of my life and soul into this car to keep it well maintained, so giving it up would forfeit all that I’ve put into it over the many years. (3) For an old car, my car insurance is already so high, so why would I get a new car where the car insurance would be even higher? That makes a lot of sense – not! And (4) With no steady income, how would I even afford monthly payments for a new car? Those are just some commonsense things to ponder.

Keep my head above water

Life has been insanely unfair and chaotic. I was working at the same place for 12yrs, when an unexpected knee injury took me out of work for what was supposed to be 12 weeks. That turned into 24 weeks with an additional surgery from a neck injury(car accident). My job was no longer protected and I lost the position I worked incredibly hard for, for over a decade. I am physically limited on how much i can do for at least a couple more months and bills are piling up. My family could only help so much as everyone is struggling in this economy. I just need enough to keep a roof over both my son and I’s heads until I can get back to the grind and cover things myself. This is my hail mary, I don’t know what else to do.

I’m a father and I have no one else to ask

Hey this is my situation. I’m 27 years old and living with my girlfriend and our daughter, she’s little over 1 years old now.
