Blessed and in great need of help

I am trying to find work, as the company I work for has laid me off twice this year, and once last year for 4 months (October last year to January this year).  I got an assignment in February that was supposed to last a year, and then was laid off 4 weeks later due to Corporate budget changes.  I got another 6 week assignment, and after 2 more weeks not working, I got an assignment in June, and I was told I would be working through 2025, and then 8 weeks later, was told there was no budget for me, and I have been cut to 10 hours a week in December, ending the assignment a week before new years day, 2025.  My wife works full time, but doesn’t make enough in a month to pay our mortgage bill.  I AM actively looking for other jobs daily, but of course, no one wants to hire until January.  In the meantime, I have bills falling behind, and due to travel expenses from my work last year, and the total time laid off, I am over $100K in credit card debt.  My daughter lives with us, trying to save money, and she gave us all her savings to help us out, but now it’s all gone too, and she is still paying her $90K student loan payment monthly too, which is a $900 payment a month.  I haven’t told them how bad it is, because this will be the 2nd Christmas in a row I’ve ruined it for them, which is killing me.  I am a cancer survivor, and know I am blessed, which is why I strive to always be a kind person, who selflessly helps others in need, without expecting anything back, and gaining happiness by seeing others smile from the deeds I do.  I volunteer for our local dog shelter, and take care of dogs whose owners have lost their home until they find a new place to live.  Now, without any help, I could be soon in the same scenario.  ANY help is greatly appreciated, and I will ALWAYS continue to pay it forward to others.  Thank you!

Mother Needs A Vehicle to Care For Her Animals

This post is difficult to write, as I have never asked for financial assistance publicly before now–but it’s worth a shot. My brother and I have been assisting our 83 year-old mother with her monthly expenses over the last seven years. We’re happy to do it but as of late, her trusty Toyota truck finally died after 32 years. Our mother is a retired horse and dog rescue professional and needs her truck to visit her one and only horse “Patrick” and her dog “CJ” at their boarding location which is 9 miles from her apartment. My brother and I are currently unable to buy her cheap transportation and need funds to keep her active and healthy caring for her animals. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Help 74 yr old mother get a walk in tub

Hello my mother who is 74 years old and suffers with copd, rheumatoid arthritis,and now stage 4 kidney disease. She can not stand to take a shower and a shower chair leaves her freezing cold so her only choice is to sit down in tub , however when she does this she can not get out so I have to be there to pull her out and I suffer from sciatic nerve pain and it stays inflamed because of this and some days I can’t be there so she can not take a shower them days .we are not asking for anything more than we need just a tub she can walk in one that keeps her warm while filling and draining the tub no extra features it would mean everything to her imagine life when you get to be here again and her independence is being stripped away. Best I can. Need help to help a good friend

Sure I have a list a mile long of financial crunch I could use help with. If anyone is an humble as of a person  as I  am and want to hear my story and how I don’t have alot and live barely above a struggle on my own but I am not worried about myself. Out of work nurse-broken toe on each foot….can’t work right now

Thank you for your time and consideration. I really appreciate it. My name is Jennifer and I am 52 years old. I am in great need of help at the moment. I’m days away from being evicted and my car repossessed. This is my second request (I forgot to put my PayPal account in request).

I am in urgent need of $6,000 dollars to pay rent, car (2 payments behind), utilities/internet, insurance, phone, medical bills, medicine (mostly for diabetes and high blood pressure), etc.

I was a nurse for 22 years and needed a break in 2016. I had a second back surgery in 2017 and I went through my car being repossessed, home foreclosure and 2 people who offered “help” but stole EVERYTHING I owned. I was literally left with one duffle bag of my own personal items-a few clothes and pictures. I was homeless for a while.

Struggling Young Veteran

Hello. I’ve, never done something like this, and I learned about this sight while searching youtube for how to fix my financial situation. Long story short, I was in the US Navy, but only for 4 years. I only joined so I could hopefully try to dig my way from being born in poverty to having a stable life, and be able to pay for college.

But, now I’m 24 woman who walks with a cane, unable to get a job because I’m young and disabled. I’ve been barely able to stay off of the streets using my entire disability money to live in airbnbs.

I’ve struggled to get into a college, and am barely keeping up with an online Environment and Sustainability Degree.

I’m not looking for much, as I know I’m on the verge of making it to stability. After a year of trying I was finally approved for an apartment, and I can just barely afford it. But I don’t get my GI until the end of January.

Between rent, utility start up costs and a dropped class due to being unable to complete it because of my disabilities, I’m looking at having, about $30 for the next 2 months.

I don’t own furniture. I have little clothing, and nothing winter worthy. I was thrown out to the streets by my conspiracy theorist ex fiance at gunpoint cause his mother convinced him I was cheating on him with someone that sexually assaulted me, and he has refused to send me my belongings as he promised me, and its been over a year now.

It’s been, a very hard year, and I have been trying to figure out how to get past this last hurdle, to afford food, and maybe a mattress.

IN DESPERATE NEED OF HELP FOR RENT THIS MONTH

Hello my name is Michael, and I’m crying out for help. Little short on rent for the month ($800) and don’t want my family to get an eviction filed right before the holiday. My family of 4 consists of myself, wife, son and daughter. My wife was just let go from her job at the laundromat a few minutes away from the house two weeks ago. She is also 7 months pregnant. We really think she was let go mainly because of her being pregnant, but can’t prove it for sure. My job of the last 3 years was shut down indefinitely in my region (Cleveland, OH). Praying for an Angel to Help Quick with Delinquent Taxes & Sewage Bills and Christmas Gifts 

I start this by saying the Sheriff was at my front door last week delivering a court order for payment of delinquent county taxes for our rental property my dad recently moved out of. We owe $2,800 for 3 years unpaid.  If we don’t pay quickly, they are taking the property.  My husband is going to flip!  I have not even told him yet. Praying I can make a connection to get this paid quickly. I have bad credit due to paying many things late over the years including my mortgage and car payment. I’ve taken loans from my retirement and still paying on those.  I’m a mess!  I have no idea how I got in this deep. 

My husband and I have been through the toughest year of our lives after 25 years of marriage. We lost my father in-law unexpectedly Oct 2023, moved my 91-year-old dad in with us in April 2024 and now have all 3 of our kids in college.  As hard as I try, I just can’t seem to get ahead.  We needed to do some major renovations in both of our father’s houses to turn them into rental properties.  We were able to do that thanks to several friends who did work and said we could pay later.  I’m believing we will start to get ourselves out of the hole financially at some point in 2025.  I know that we are delinquent on our sewage payments for all 3 properties which includes our own.  We owe $4500.   

I’ve struggled paying my house payment and car payment because our bills have grown but our pay checks are not increasing to keep up.  With three kids having their own cars, our car insurance is $900 a month.  One of our college students does not have a job so I have to frequently give her money. To top it all off, it’s Christmas time.  My husband has to take his Jeep back to the garage this week to get additional things fixed after spending an unexpected $3,800 on it in October. I am just trying to keep up with paying my regular monthly bills besides needing to spend money on Christmas gifts.  I honestly have not been enjoying Christmas these past few years because I don’t have any extra money.  We buy things just to buy them instead of just enjoying the reason for the season.  

I’m a Christian trusting God to bring us through the storm.  I know that sometimes we are in storms to know our purpose.  My husband & I want to never want to question tithing at church, giving over above our tithe and to be all in kingdom builders helping God’s people.  My goal would be to overcome our debts and gladly help others just like the ones on this Begging Money site.  You think you are alone but so many are struggling in this world.  I am confident one of God’s purposes for me is to help others.  I stand strong in faith that God will provide provision for us so that we may supply needs to others.  I truly appreciate any donations anyone is able to give to keep me out of trouble and to move me forward with resolving my own debt so I may help others with theirs.   Thank you & God bless!
