Single mom in need of help

Hey there! My name is Makayla. I’m a single mother of an amazing 3 year old boy, who also works a full time job as well as maintaining our home life to the best of my abilities. Unfortunately, I am doing this all on my own with no one to fall back on or to ask for help. I’m putting myself out here because I have come to a place where I’m out of options and unsure of what to do.

We were in a terrible toxic environment living with his father, so I found a way out about 2 years ago. Trying my best to provide a safe, stable and loving home that my son and myself both deserved. I do not have/receive any type of support to aid in the care for my son by said father.

With that being said, I used what savings I had to get us a fresh start. Of course sicknesses and other things came into play over the past couple of years where I would have to miss work or pay to have something repaired. which in turn made my paychecks less. I would make ends meet by using my credit card to ensure our bills were paid and he had what he needed.

Fast forward to now, Before I knew it I am now in $16,000 worth of credit cards debit that I can’t seem to get myself out of. I start to make it ahead a little and then something else happens and I’m right back to where I am now. Although, I have not missed a payment for anything but I’m at the point where I feel like I’m drowning and I need some financial help to get us back to where we need to be. Im struggling with how I’m going to pay for the bare Necessities to live at this point with how the cost of living has increased. I barely have enough for gas to get him to his childcare as well as get myself to work.

I’m an independent type of person and asking for help in this way has me cringing and my skin crawling, but I have run out of ideas and ways to get this under control.

Thank you for taking the time to read the short version of our story and for absolutely any help you may be able to provide. We are so very deeply grateful for your kindness and compassion.

Every little bit helps an extreme amount, Thank you from the bottom of my heart & every cell of my body. -Makayla

Help Save My Home: Urgent Support Needed

I find myself in a challenging situation. During the pandemic, I borrowed £185,000 secured against my property. To provide some clarity, I received two payments totaling £153,355.30:

1. £148,224.08 on 1st December 2022

2. £5,131.22 on 26th December 2022

Since then, I have paid over £45,000 in interest, which includes both the retained amount and my monthly payments of £1,600 (I have made 14 payments to date).

Now, two years later, my lender is demanding £325,000—far exceeding what I originally borrowed. The current value of my property is approximately £360,000, but I’m struggling to meet this obligation.

I urgently need your support to avoid losing my home. My salary alone is not sufficient at this time, and my business is still recovering. If you can help in any way, I would be immensely grateful. Thank you for considering my plea for assistance.

Surgery for Wife – Struggling To Keep Pur Heads Above Water

Dear friends,

I’ve never been the type to ask for help, but today I find myself at a point where I don’t know where else to turn. I’m reaching out to you all in a moment of great need, and with the hope that some of you may be able to offer a little bit of help or support in whatever way you can.

My wife, Elisabeth, is a beautiful, strong woman and an amazing mother to our kids. But right now, she’s facing a health crisis that’s threatening to change our lives in ways we never imagined. For the past few months, she’s been struggling with severe heart issues—specifically aortic arrhythmia and sinus tachycardia. These conditions have been terrifying and life-altering, and after numerous tests and doctor’s visits, we’ve finally received the recommendation for surgery. The surgery is not just a suggestion—it’s something that will literally save her life.

The cost of the surgery, however, is a staggering $7,000. And the truth is, I can’t afford it. I’ve been doing everything I can to keep our family afloat, but between the rent for our small apartment, monthly bills, and taking care of our kids, I’m struggling just to get by. We don’t have a lot of savings, and what we do have is being eaten up by the rising costs of everyday life.

To make matters even more difficult, the insurance company has refused to cover the surgery, citing her heart condition as a “pre-existing condition.” It’s something we’re both devastated by, and honestly, I feel like I’ve hit a wall. I’ve spent hours on the phone with them, trying to reason with them, trying to figure out any way they can help. But, as of right now, they’ve made it clear that there’s no way they’ll cover the surgery.

I’ve tried to look into every possible option, but nothing seems to be working. The hospitals offer payment plans, but with my income, I just don’t see how I can make the monthly payments on top of everything else. I feel like I’m drowning, and no matter how hard I try to stay afloat, the weight keeps pulling me down.

This isn’t just about the surgery—it’s about my wife. It’s about the woman I love, the mother of our children, the person who’s been by my side through thick and thin. She’s scared, and I’m scared. I don’t want to lose her. I don’t want my kids to lose their mother. And I don’t want to be in a position where I can’t do everything in my power to help her.

I’m reaching out to you all today to ask for help. I know that this isn’t something anyone likes to do, but I don’t know what else to do at this point. If there’s anyone who might be able to donate, whether it’s $5, $10, or anything you can afford, it would mean the world to us. Every little bit helps, and I’m so grateful for anything you can give.

I know times are tough for everyone right now, and I never want to make anyone feel obligated. But if you can, please consider donating to help us cover the cost of this surgery. We’ve set up a Paypal.me account, which is the easiest way for you to donate. The link is below:

paypal.me/cosmicquesadilla

If you can’t donate, I completely understand. But even just sharing this post with your friends and family would mean so much to us. The more people who know, the more likely it is that we can raise enough to give my wife the care she needs.

I’m also asking for your prayers. I know that sounds cliché, but in a time like this, when everything feels uncertain and out of control, I believe in the power of faith and community. If you could keep my wife in your thoughts, and send good energy our way, I would appreciate it more than words can express.

I want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has already reached out to offer words of encouragement. It’s been overwhelming and humbling to see how much love and support we’ve received. You all have made a huge difference in helping us stay positive and hopeful during this difficult time. Even if you’re not in a position to help financially, just knowing that we’re not alone means everything.

Please, if you can, help us in any way you can. I’m doing everything I can to keep my family together, to keep things from falling apart, but I can’t do it alone. With your help, we can get my wife the surgery she needs, and we can hopefully get back to living our lives without this constant fear hanging over us.

I don’t want to let this be the story of our lives. I want my wife to come out of this stronger than ever, and I want to be able to continue to take care of our family. So, I’m asking for your help, not just for money, but for hope. For love. For my wife.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your time, your support, and for being part of this journey with us. It means more than I can ever express.

Help Us Secure a Roof Over Our Heads

Hello,

My name is Amanda, and I am reaching out with a humble request for help. My husband and I, along with our two children, have been facing homelessness for the past few of months, and we are desperately trying to secure stable housing before the arrival of our third child in May.

As a mother, I never expected to find myself in this situation—struggling to provide a safe and stable home for my children. I have always worked hard to support my family, but after the loss of my income, we have been unable to make ends meet on my husband’s earnings alone. With medical bills, daily necessities, and other financial responsibilities, saving enough for a fresh start has felt impossible.

We have been approved for an apartment that participates in the Housing Tax Credit affordable housing program, which means our monthly rent and utilities will be manageable on my husband’s income while I continue searching for work. However, our biggest challenge right now is the move-in cost, which totals $3,328. This includes the security deposit, the first month’s rent, and other required fees before we can move in.

I have applied for state assistance for help with the move-in costs, but resources are extremely limited, and I have yet to receive any answers on when—or even if—we will get help. Every time I reach out, I’m met with uncertainty, leaving us in an agonizing waiting game with no clear resolution. In the meantime, we remain stuck in a cycle of instability, relying on family or friends for places to stay since shelters we contact have 4-6 month waiting lists. Every moment without a home adds to the stress and uncertainty, especially as we prepare to welcome our newest little one.

I am asking for any support—whether big or small—to help us reach this goal. Every donation brings us one step closer to securing a home for our children, where they can feel safe and secure. If you are unable to donate, simply sharing our story would mean the world to us.

From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate any kindness and generosity you can offer. Thank you for taking the time to read our story. May you be blessed abundantly for any help you can provide.

With gratitude,
Amanda & Family

I need $18,000 to clear debt incurred from losing job

Why I Need This Support:

1. Job Loss & Extended Unemployment: I was laid off in 2023 and it took over a year to secure a stable position.

2. Significant Debt Accumulation: During this period, I incurred over $20,000 in debt, making it difficult to regain financial stability despite now having a job. I need $18,000 because after paying that, I will be able to make arrangements with creditors to pay off the balance.

3. Car in Repossession: My car, which I have already paid off more than halfway, is in the repossession proceeding. Losing it would severely impact my ability to work as an outside sales representative.

4. Temporary Transportation Issue: I am currently using a loaner car for work, but I must return it soon. Without my own vehicle, I risk losing my job and falling further into financial hardship.

5. Path to Financial Recovery: Clearing this debt will allow me to move forward, stay on track with my new job, and avoid further financial setbacks.

Thanks in advance for any help that can be rendered.

Please help me save my home?

I am a disabled Marine Corps combat veteran.  I served as a rifleman and scout-sniper with my battalion’s STA (Surveillance and Target Acquisition) platoon in Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm.  I am struggling with a brain injury and PTSD.  Last year I had to take a disability leave of absence from my job due to my condition.  Fortunately, I was able to have my VA mortgage placed in a forbearance.  I applied for and eventually received a disability rating for multiple conditions, and I now receive a disability pension from the Department of Veterans Affairs.  During this process, I also discovered that I had a rated disability for a knee injury dating back to 1991.  Because of some incompetence at the Department of Veterans Affairs, I never received any payments for this injury, nor was it included as part of my current disability rating.   So I submitted a claim with the VA to collect a significant amount of backpay.  I was told that this was a simple process because all the VA had to do was to calculate what the backpay owed to me would be and issue a payment.  This year the forbearance on my VA mortgage ended, and I now must catch-up the missed mortgage payments.  Again, I thought that I was fortunate because the amount I owe is approximately equal to the amount I should have been receiving from the VA for backpay for my knee injury in 1991.  I had planned to use this money to payoff the amount due on my mortgage from the forbearance.  As incompetence abounds in the bureaucracy at the Department of Veterans Affairs, I found out this week that my claim for backpay was mistakenly confused with my claim from last year and closed erroneously.  I must now start an appeal and / or review process with the VA.  The very soonest I could possibly get any relief would be at least 6 months and could be over a year.  There is no way to call anyone or expedite the process.  These anonymous bureaucrats, who arbitrarily ruin people’s lives, hide in the bureaucracy so that they never have to face the people they destroy.  I have spoken with my congressman and to an attorney, but there isn’t anything that can be done.  Because a director at the VA did not take the time or make the effort to understand the claim I filed for backpay, my mortgage is in default and will be foreclosed, if I cannot bring the loan current.  I am so frustrated and disappointed with the way our government treats its veterans, but I had to face the reality that I absolutely cannot rely on the VA to do the right thing; they are incapable of that.  So now I am submitting my appeal to the generosity of the American people.  I thank God for the appreciation the American people have for our veterans and hopefully anticipate their generous support.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart, God bless you and God bless America.

Mother’s Plea: A Safe Home for My Three Babies

I never imagined I would find myself in this position writing to strangers, hoping that someone, somewhere, might have the kindness in their heart to help me and my children stay in our home. But life has a way of humbling you, and today, I am asking for a miracle.I am a single mother of three beautiful children, all under the age of five. Every day, I wake up with one goal ”to give them the best life possible, despite the struggles we face. I have always worked hard to provide for them, doing everything in my power to keep food on the table, clothes on their backs, and a roof over their heads. But right now, that roof is at risk.

Over the past few months, I have been fighting to stay afloat. Between rising costs, unexpected expenses, and limited support, I have fallen behind on my rent. My landlord has been patient, but time is running out, and I am terrified that my children and I will be forced out of our home. I need $3,500 to cover the overdue rent and avoid eviction. This amount would not just pay the debt ”it would give us security, warmth, and peace of mind, at least for a little while.

I am not asking for a handout. I am asking for a helping hand something to pull us out of this dark moment so that I can keep pushing forward. I am actively seeking more stable opportunities, doing everything in my power to ensure that this never happens again. But right now, I need help.

I think about my children every second of the day. I see the innocence in their eyes, their little smiles that dont yet understand the weight of the world. They deserve stability. They deserve to wake up in their beds tomorrow and every day after that, without fear of losing their home.

If you have the ability to help, even in the smallest way, you would not just be giving us money you would be giving my children a safe place to sleep, a home filled with love instead of fear, and a mother who can breathe again.

Thank you for reading my story. Thank you for even considering helping us. I pray that someone out there has the heart to answer this desperate plea.

With gratitude and hope,

Anna

Help Me Start My Business

I’m an ex-con who has turned my life around. I’ve struggled to find meaningful work despite possessing the knowledge and skills required. It seems that few companies want to give me a chance to prove myself. I am an experienced diesel mechanic with multiple Cummins certifications. I want to start my own mobile auto repair business in order to meet an unmet need in my rural community. I have the knowledge, experience, skills and tools that I need to be successful. My LLC has been secured. What I need now is the working capital to purchase a welder, parts and supplies to do the job. As they say: ‘it takes money to make money’. That is what I’m lacking. I am trying to build a stable income for my family’s future. Can you help me succeed? https://cash.app/$shortysrepairandfab

Urgent help needed. Debt is more than income

I work for a low income, my mother lost her job during covid and I have been providing for us since then. My mother is too old to find work and my boss doesn’t want to pay me more. They said that there’s nothing more I can do for them to justify getting paid more. Because of my low income I am unable to qualify for renting properties and my current landlord wants us out in a month although I can’t find accommodation which I can afford because I’m rejected based on my income.

I have an oppertunity to qualify for a rent to buy property which won’t be rejected because it is for low income individuals but I can’t receive the funding from the bank because I owe $2500 in credit card debt trying to keep my mom and I afloat to buy food. My mom is also struggling cause her glasses are old and I haven’t been able to afford it to get her new glasses. She is currently using my old pair but the lenses have started to crack. I also used most of my savings to fix her car as I need it to be able to go to work. I work most weekdays between 9-12 hours and don’t receive money for overtime worked.

If someone would be able to help me to pay off my debt I would be able to give my mother a better life with less stress and be able to buy my own house at an affordable rate and get away from the constant fear of not having a place to rent

thank you for reading my story. God bless you

Donation for a Cause – Help Me Rebuild My Life https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/GKCHEE

Dear [BeggingMoney],

I hope this letter finds you well. I am reaching out to you with a humble request for support as I navigate one of the most challenging periods of my life.

For over two decades, I suffered from an undiagnosed health condition, which led me to place my trust in a now-retired Malaysian Chinese physician. Unfortunately, this decision resulted in severe financial ruin. It was only later that I discovered my health struggles were due to an inherited condition called alpha thalassemia trait. Although not life-threatening, this condition impairs oxygen transport in my blood, leading to chronic fatigue, weakness, concentration difficulties, and persistent headaches—symptoms that have affected me my entire life.

Adding to my hardship, I have been subjected to relentless cyberbullying for years, both in Malaysia and Singapore. Online and in real life, I have endured verbal abuse, false rumors, and constant harassment, which have made it nearly impossible for me to secure stable employment. The combination of my health condition, financial exploitation, and ongoing harassment has left me in a state of extreme vulnerability.

Despite these challenges, I am determined to rebuild my life. My goal is to further my studies, gain additional qualifications, and secure stable employment. By doing so, I can escape low-paying jobs that expose me to further harassment and build a dignified and self-sufficient future.

I invite you to visit my website, [my website domain name], where I have documented my struggles, qualifications, and work history. You will also find donation buttons for those willing to offer financial support. Any form of assistance—whether through a contribution or simply sharing my story—would mean the world to me.

Your kindness and generosity can help me reclaim my life and create a future where I am no longer defined by my hardships but by my resilience and determination. For those willing to contribute, please do so through my website at https://com20250.com, by sending messages to mrcheegk@gmail.com , or through the website’s contact bar. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can provide.

Disabled Man In Need Help Paying Credit Card Debt

I’ve always tried to be smart with money. I never splurged on expensive things or lived beyond my means. But having Ulcerative Colitis changed everything.

When my UC got really bad, it completely took over my life. The pain, exhaustion, and constant trips to the bathroom made it impossible to work consistently. Even with Medicaid, there were still costs like medications, pain management and other things insurance didn’t cover. I had no savings, no backup plan, so I turned to credit cards just to get by.

At first, I told myself I’d pay off the credit card debt once I got better. But UC doesn’t just go away, and I kept falling behind. I maxed out my cards on groceries, gas, and basic needs. When I couldn’t make the payments anymore, my credit score tanked.

Not having credit has made life so much harder. I can’t get approved for a decent credit card, which means I have no cushion for emergencies. Renting by myself isn’t an option. It feels like I’m stuck, unable to move forward.

Now, I work for Lyft, but with my income, paying off my debt is tough. Most of what I make goes toward bills and everyday expenses.

I didn’t get into debt because I was reckless. I was sick, struggling, and had no other choice. I just want a chance to get back on track, to pay off what I owe, and to finally stop feeling like I’m drowning financially.

Disabled Veteran Home Renovation Accessibility Urgent Needs

Greetings!

Thank you for taking the time to read about my story.

I am an honorably discharged Navy Persian Gulf combat veteran. I was deployed for 3.5 years of my military career and actively fought ISIS during my service. It was the honor of my life to have served the US as a Navy firefighter.

In 2019, 2.5 years after I was discharged, at 28 years old, I was diagnosed with non-alcohol-related liver failure and severe compartment syndrome in my left leg. To my surprise, when I went into the ER for a small injury, I was given two weeks to live. Because of my perfect bill of health before my liver failure, all to God’s grace, I was prioritized and received a liver in just 3 days. After my transplant, I had to have 12 leg surgeries to try to save my leg. After 2 years of severe pain, I got my left leg amputated in 2022.

I need renovations done to my home to make it more accessible for my everyday life. My home does not have steps that meet current safety building codes and they are very difficult for me to maneuver. I need to hire a contractor to replace the steps to code so I can access the second floor of my home more easily. I also need to have the contractor convert our garage to a bedroom with a handicap accessible bathroom, as I need a bedroom and bathroom on the bottom floor close together. Lastly, I need to hire a plumber to move our laundry room from the basement so I can easily access it.

Receiving home renovation money means that my house becomes a home in which my needs are met due to my disabilities.

Thank you so much for your time and God Bless.

Very respectfully,

TP

Help Save My Family

PAYPAL.ME@Courtney021181     I hope this letter finds you well. I am reaching out to you in a time of need and vulnerability, as I am struggling to make ends meet due to a significant loss of wages. Please allow me to explain my current situation and the reason for my plea for assistance. Recently, I opened my home to a child in need of care and support. The child has faced challenges and difficulties, particularly in their behavior, that have required my full attention and dedication. As a result, I have had to prioritize their well-being and care over my own professional commitments, leading to a substantial reduction in my income. While I wholeheartedly believe that providing a safe and nurturing environment for this child is the right thing to do, it has placed a considerable financial strain on me. The decrease in income has made it difficult for me to cover essential expenses, including bills and other financial obligations. On January 26 2025 I had a terrible car accident losing the only vehicle I had in total loss, Fractured bone in my neck and broken bones in my back. Thankfully God kept me here cause he seen the good in my heart. I’m facing a lot like behind in all my bills including Rent in the amount of 2,880.62 as of today possibly facing eviction. I am writing to humbly ask for your help during this challenging time. Any form of assistance, whether it be financial support or practical resources, would be greatly appreciated. Your kindness and generosity would make a significant difference in helping me navigate through this difficult period and continue to provide the necessary care and support for me and my family. I understand that times are tough for many, and I would not ask for help if it were not absolutely necessary. I deeply appreciate your consideration and support, and I sincerely hope that you can find it in your heart to help me during this time of need

Subject: Urgent Help Needed to Save My Home

Subject: Urgent Help Needed to Save My Home

Dear Donater’s,

I am reaching out with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for help. On January 22, 2025, I lost a dear friend, a 70-year-old disabled Air Force veteran, who was not just a hero to this country but also my greatest support. For the past five years, I have lived in his home, which he intended to sign over to me before his unexpected passing. Unfortunately, he never had the chance, and now his family has made it clear that unless I can pay off his remaining mortgage of $42,000, they will sell the home—leaving me without a place to live.

Due to my own credit challenges, I am unable to refinance or transfer the mortgage into my name. This house has been my safe haven, my stability, and my only home. I am doing everything in my power to raise the necessary funds, but I cannot do this alone. I am humbly asking for any assistance—whether through donations, guidance, or connections to resources that might help me keep my home.

Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings me one step closer to securing the place I have called home for the past five years. If you or anyone you know can help in any way, I would be forever grateful. Please feel free to contact me at [Your Phone Number] or [Your Email] for any questions or further information.

Thank you for your time, compassion, and support during this difficult time.

Sincerely,
Leigha Maricle    paypal.me/leighamaricle
