Dearest Readers,

As I begin to type this situation about my life I am moved by heartache since I have no more tears left.

I am a 27 year old woman originally from Guyana, South America. I completed high school and thereafter I would start a relationship that would change my life forever.

My partner’s brother is a homosexual man and in Guyana at that time (2017 and prior) being homosexual was considered criminal. Persons from gangs would rape and torture homosexual men to teach them a lesson. My brother-in-law was a victim of multiple raping, homophobes would throw stones at the house threatening him that they would stone him to death along with his family, who at the time consisted of my partner, their mother, father, 3 nieces and 4 nephews.

A Canadian activist intervened and assisted my brother-in-law to seek asylum in Canada. He arrived and life went on for him. He was able to sponsor his mother and father to migrate to Canada as well, I then moved in with my partner to assist with the full responsibility of caretaking these 7 children (his nieces and nephews whom we are still unaware of their parents whereabouts) all under the age of 14 at the time (2018).

In the beginning of December 2018 my brother-in-law got married to his husband and decided since he was safe and out of the country it would be okay to upload his wedding photos on social media. The very day after, me, my partner and the children started receiving threats and more stoning on the house so much that we would have to lock up tight to stay safe.

One night (February 2019) the eldest nephew (15) was returning home from classes and a car pulled up next to him, someone came out placed a cloth over his face with some sort of substance that made him unconscious and he was taken to an underground room where he was raped on multiple occasions, the masked homophobes also stuffed their feces into his mouth, he was starved and was tied to a post so he defecated himself and urinated himself, his anus was also slashed with a sharp object. He was abducted for 4 days then they decided to release him at a river side, a lady jogging saw him and offered assistance by taking him to the hospital. We were then contacted and was heartbroken and saddened by all he endured, but still thankful he was alive.

The threats continued and my partner and I made the bold decision of fleeing to Trinidad (closest to Guyana) with these 7 children that everyone abandoned and would spend 3 years (June 2019-May 2023) enduring poverty to it’s finest, the pandemic, living off of food bank contributions and doing odd jobs just to have to some shelter and food for the 9 of us.

Organizations in Trinidad came to our rescue when they heard about our situation and saw proof (medical reports and pictures) of all that happened to my partner’s nephew, and the history with my brother-in-law. We were assisted to migrate to Canada under protection for 1 year (May 2023-May 2024) still having to make ends meet by doing odd jobs.

At this moment I am in a situation where I have no where to live so I am at my in-laws who treat me terribly yes you read right… The same people whom I stuck by and supported throughout their disaster by helping them to care for the children etc so much that I didn’t have the time to continue my studies to acquire a decent job.. I cannot begin to elaborate on the shockingly gruesome and manipulative things they have done to me.

I am actively searching for jobs to be at peace and start my life over. But I am struggling to secure something. For years I am enduring torture and depression and all I feel to do is commit suicide since I feel so much desperation and hopelessness from being 100% broke.

Life took the worst turn on me and I am seeking your generous and humane donation to help take me out of rock-bottom. I am sure because of my very gentle heart and spirit good karma is on the way at sometime. It would be more than greatly appreciated if you can assist me with anything you can afford.

Sushi school, moving to California and healing the world.

I am seeking finances in the amount of $16,255 to move from western South Dakota to Long Beach CA and attend a sushi school in nearby Torrance.  This amount includes the tuition, basic living expenses like rent and bills, travel expenses across Wyoming, Utah and Nevada, and a few knives for cutting fish and vegetables.

I have been cooking professionally for my entire life pushing my personal limits and  creativity to high standards. I  am not impressed with the culinary opportunities in this area, weather and prospects to start a family. I seek to add the knowledge of classic Japanese cooking technique to my repertoire. My used car is in the shop waiting for an engine that I can not afford, I have been stuck in a tiny house 10 miles from the nearest town trying to make the best of this time and season. Daily I exercise my mental toughness, self awareness of a sober life and reliance on faith in God.  To support my income I am participating in clinical trials, but they are not guaranteed money.  I have had trouble finding scholarships that pertain to this class as it not an accredited university.

By moving to California and completing this 2 month sushi course I hope to open doors of influence for my self in the arena of entertainment as well as hospitality. My life has much more to offer this world than just excellence in dining. My creativity reaches into acting, writing, music, songwriting also painting; my passions for the  helpless are unwavering. My short and long term goals also include: starting a family, bringing awareness to the murdered and missing indigenous women of Native America, justice to human trafficking operations, and helping people find empowerment in their true identity.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a dance performance artist, dedicating my life to the beauty and power of movement. Dance has always been more than just a career for me. It was my way of connecting with others, expressing emotions, and bringing stories to life. It gave me purpose and filled my days with joy. My work as a performance artist is what provided me a life and livelihood through and between which I expressed and lived. And now, as physical reality becomes too difficult to deny, due to age, and especially enhanced by chronic pain and injury… I can’t do that anymore. The sudden end to this chapter has been incredibly difficult, not just emotionally, but financially as well.

In me there is creative energy, motivation, and determination I still bear, to try and find what is next… There are many things I want to explore, do and share, ideas that inspire and uplift, just as dance did for me in the past. I believe in creativity and resilience. I am also one of those people who is now truly impoverished. I can’t afford food, housing and the education that could help me plan a new career path.  I find myself at a crossroads, where the potential for growth and renewal is within sight, but the resources to get there are painfully scarce.

A Cry for Help I AM Dying And I need help

I have been dealing with Lupus for 25 years and I have always taken care of myself and my two children of which one has autism. Now my kidneys are failing (end stage) and I am on dialysis, I have heart failure and I have recently been told that I have cirrhosis of the liver. I have also been taken off the kidney transplant list because my heart is too weak to withstand a transplant operation. I know that I won’t last too much longer I can feel it and my biggest worry is I have no financial means for burial services.

I have always had a job but for the past two years I could not work due to my health condition and that takes a lot out of me because I am used to taking care of myself. This situation drains me not only physically but mentally as well. I currently live in a three family house on the third floor for the past 20 years and can barely get up the stairs especially on dialysis days. I really need help with moving from here and paying for funeral services for when that day comes which I will be soon. My children are not capable to pay for it and I can’t imagine them going though that situation. I have no bond with my family because I have been on my own since I was 16 years old. Due to the fact that my stepfather used to molest me and I ran away because my mother didn’t believe me.

I have never asked for financial help from anyone because I have always been able to figure out a way but this time I can’t  and I need help desperately. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP US! Please ease my mind so that I can spend my last days stress free with my children and not worrying. This really makes me depressed and I know that doesn’t help my health situation. PLEASE HELP ME! Need to go Turkey for healthcare

Help I need medical care. I’ve had over 35 surgeries since 2007 for a plethora of things. I also have fibromyalgia, chronic back pain and a in my brain. I’ve gone to so many doctors here in the USA and it seems no one ever really helps me. If they tell me to have surgery, I do it. They said lose weight, I lost 75lbs. I started working out, went vegan and still I’m suffering. I’ve gone for so many scans they come back and say everything looks fine I’ll see you in 6 months. Some doctors constantly write prescriptions for everything under the sun, yet I’m still suffering. I have so many medical bills that I’ll likely never be able to pay them all. So I recently saw something about a specialty hospital in Turkey that will put you thru a battery of test and find the things most doctors don’t find. The battery of testing with the different doctors will cost $1000 and then I need to get there and stay for 6 days so I’m thinking about $3000 should be sufficient. I feel as if this is my last hope because I’m tired of going to the doctor, tests, medications and a lack of real help. AS I type this I’m preparing for a doctors appt about my back because insurance is no longer willing to pay for the injections in my back that basically allow me to walk around without assistance. Without the injections I have no idea what my life will be like but I have an idea from before I had major back surgery in 2009. Of course this is not a sure thing either but I have to try it. Life Ruined by Trusting a Friend

I’m the sole breadwinner of my family which consists of my Mother, 64, my sister, 29, and my nephew, 5. My sister suffered a stroke a few years ago and is mostly unable to work and whatever funds she does get, goes toward raising her son.

“OUT OF OPTIONS & OVERWHELMED”Can You Assist Us in Recovering Our Truck?”

We have two vehicles at home—one for me and one for my husband. On June 2nd, my husband’s truck suddenly broke down and wouldn’t start. We had to have it towed to a diesel mechanic, and it has been there ever since. The repairs were extensive, including replacing all the injectors, lines, cleaning the fuel tank, and more. While the truck is now fixed and ready to be picked up, we are struggling to cover the remaining cost of nearly $4,000, as we’ve already paid $1,000 towards the bill.

Unfortunately, the mechanic has warned us that if we can’t pay soon, they might place a lien on the truck. This unexpected expense has been overwhelming for us. I’ve never asked for financial help before, but we’re out of options and don’t know what else to do.

This past year has been incredibly challenging. I had to leave my job to care for our 2 and 3-year-old grandsons after we obtained emergency custody to keep them from being removed from our daughters home. On top of that, my husband has been dealing with severe vision issues due to ocular histoplasmosis, requiring regular eye injections, and both of us have faced various health problems.
