Urgent help needed to complete my Daughter college fees.

My name is Mikel, I am a proud father of two beautiful girls Ridley and Riley, and married to the love of my life Joylyn. I am currently active duty military and my wife manages a coffee shop. My in-laws live with us as well in an attempt to firstly keep the family close but also my father in law has stage four Parkinson’s and they are on a fixed income being elderly and not able to work.

Joy and I make relatively decent money combined but not for 4 adults and 2 children and with the economy the way it is everything is expensive and only seems to be getting more expensive. Recently I had to take orders away from my family which means I will be living somewhere else while they stay back home of course. This only adds to the stress and financial burden. My goal is to be able to either pay off or significantly pay down our mortgage. Without that payment we would essentially be financially free lifting the burden and stress on my family tremendously.

At the suggestion of a friend of mine they suggested trying out this site. I figured what do I have to loose right? I have never asked for anyone for anything in my life before call it pride or just stubbornness either way if this is a path to ensuring my family always has a home then I would be insane not to at least give it a shot.

I read an article one time about a family that used crowd funding to become financially free any then shared his experience to then help others achieve the same as his family did. He said if the country could come together and everyone helped each other we would all be free. If 100,000 people each donated $10 your already at a million.

My goal is to reach $850,000 to pay my house off entirely. It’s such a large ask it’s embarrassing but you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.

I am single mum of a gorgeous 3 year old. We live alone in small London flat and I don’t work, because I take care of him. I do all I can to get an employment or another source of income. I even started my own online business but it requires monthly budget to invest in FB adverts and I don’t have money to cover that cost at the moment. My very rare medical condition is pushing me to follow my dream!

Though life has its ups and downs, I have always been an optimist and a hard worker, facing whatever comes with a smile and motivation to succeed. But all of that ground to a halt about 5 years ago when my body started down a bizarre spiral of headaches and light sensitivity. I finally have a diagnosis- Severe Photophobia caused by Constant Silent Migraines. What that really means is my body stopped being able to handle light. I cannot go out in the daylight at all, and even at night I can only leave the house for short amounts of time. If I do go into the sun (which I only do for absolute necessities, like doctor visits) I end up terribly sick in bed, unable to function while i recover for at least next day or two. If I don’t immediately get in to bed to let my body start recovering, my immune system completely collapses under the strain.

This has totally changed my life as the mother of a busy household of amazing daughters. I cannot function as a normal parent because I cannot take my kids out to a doctor, to shop, even to play in a park. I try to still be there for them in every way possible, and we problem solve and get creative to meet all of their needs and keep our home happy and smiling, but it is such a struggle to fight the depression of isolation, of never stepping out into the sun, of no longer being in control of my life. Still, I do my absolute best to keep on smiling!

I also had to stop working- no more teaching, closed my freelance graphics company, since I can’t go out and I can’t even look at a computer screen for more than a few minutes at a time. That has of course thrown our financial situation into total meltdown, which has compounded my stress level more than I can say!

But I won’t let this beat me. I am determined to keep going and get us back on our feet! But what kind of job can I get that is in my home ad not screen related? And I finally figured it out- I want to become a coach to help kids with ADHD succeed in life. After beginning to work with my kids’s ADHD, I was diagnosed with ADHD as well, which allowed so many things about myself and my life to click into place!  I began to learn everything I can to help myself and my children navigate the challenges that come with our type of brain, in a world not totally built to support us, and I realized- I love this, and I am good at this! I am so passionate about helping kids who have this huge potential buried inside of them bring out their best selves and thrive!

So I am looking to you wonderful people for help- I need to pay for my schooling and keep my family afloat while I follow this career path to what will hopefully be an amazing business venture within a year.

Our Dream

Hi, my name is Rob. My partner and i ( Johanna), have been together now for aproximately 3 years. Johanna is the love of my entire life. I have worked hard my entire life, as a butcher mainly, followed by 2 years as a carer for people less fortunate than myself. Johanna was an excellent wife, mother and grandmother to 2 wonderful children. Johanna , for the best part of 20 years looked after her husband (Chris), who unfortunately in that time was very sick. Johanna was for most of that time his carer, administrator and solid rock for his well being. For the last 2 years of Johanna’s husbands life i was one of his carers, and became quite friendly to him and his family.It is quite the miracle that life has thrown Johanna and myself together in our 60’s, but it is a miracle we live and love every minute of everyday. Johanna and i do not have the sort of retirement fund most people are gifted with. Me especially. We can not go on nice holidays and purchase nice things. But we never complain and get on with life because love to us is worth much more than financial wealth. But as you know it doesn’t hurt to have some finances to make life easier.

Johanna and i have had a dream to help people in need. Being caring in nature we would like to help people sleeping rough on the street, provide meals, and anything else that can make their life bearable. We often talk about a van of some kind that we can make soup out of to feed the hungry, and blankets and street tents to help with shelters for people who sleep rough.

We obviously can not afford a working vehicle of our own and would love to ask for any help with this endevour. We personally think that while most people would see this as fruitless, we believe any help people get is beneficial, at least in making their day a little better. And who knows, right, could lead to them to wanting to improve their lives and take on the same role in helping others also.

On a more personal note i would love to take Johanna on a holiday. She so deserves a nice break from all she has been through. Johanna is a remarkable woman who gives so much of herself to family and friends. It would be lovely for the two of us to holiday somewhere special. If she knew i was asking for help i think i would be in trouble. So at the time of writing this Johanna does not know i am asking for any help.

We both are not the people who normally ask for anything we haven’t wotkeed hard for. But i know now at my age and spiritual belief that asking should not be a burden, but a natural process of allowing good hearted people the opportunity to show their generosity and love. And i will not stand in the way of good people helping.

Help! My kids deserve better!

Due to financial hardships after an accident that left my husband unable to work for a few months he took a job several hours away. Once this job site is over they will be sending him to another state. We have 4 kids that miss there dad terribly.  I miss my husband all the time. I have a son and his name is Tristan I raised my son as a single mom working two sometimes three jobs I managed to never miss a beat with his games, school functions, or holidays I slept a couple of hours a night since the day he was born to ensure all the above For the entirety of his adolescence and to the best of my ability I worked very hard to not let him be too tainted by our poverty and did everything I could to sheild him from the dysfunction of other family members (one major traumatic incident occurred, explanation included) I didn’t let him live in an unrealistic reality either though I needed him to know where he came from and how fortunate he was to have a small but mighty village helping me raise him in a loving stable home especially coming from a family such as ours where most of the kids became statistics Regarding the aforementioned family trauma was 3 days before Tristan’s 13th bday my mother committed suicide in our house while we slept, because she was crashing on my couch after coming back from jail we agreed to let her stay for 2 months only provided she followed all of our house rules and requests she didn’t I told her she had to go the night before and she took her life instead and we’re the ones who found her of course But he knew that my mother and I had a poor relationsh I later discovered that one of her reasons for taking her life, most likely was because she stole my identity and put me $43,000 in debt I couldn’t fight it I tried though because she was not alive to defend herself so I was held liable for it I was financially destroyed by that My credit is destroyed now and it’s taking me several years to pay it off just for more debt by her to surface so I can’t get loans I am in the throes of applying for disability benefits and that is just a long drawn out nightmare of a flawed process for 2 years now I have been unsuccessful at finding any type of assistance program in place for Americans  awaiting approval What are we supposed to do and we have to fight for this money that we need so desperately I meet all the criteria I actually exceed so many requirements yet I keep having to appeal their decisions A positive I hold onto is I’m very fortunate that my son is as stable intelligent and emotionally healthy as he is but he has the same mindset as I do He refuses to follow suit with this family and he stands strong with me on breaking the cycle But he has been the most affected by all of this Disregarding all my pain and what I go through physically,  my son became collateral damage We need help more than we’ve ever needed help in my entire life I don’t know what to do where to turn or how to get out of this I don’t want to put a $ amount out there because I don’t want to overreach I have no expectations of anyone to think I expect any certain amount that needs to be met I just need to survive and ask someone for help So whatever anyone thinks they can can contribute is more than what I have and would be INCREDIBLY APPRECIATED and will certainly help No amount is too small

 

For 36 years of my life I worke hard labor jobs ultimately abusing my body and resulting in it turning on me These neurological and musculoskeletal disorders cause me chronic debilitating excruciating pain daily One of my conditions is rare incurable and registers at a 42 out of 49 on the McGill Pain Scale My son’s education is being affected by it in a colossal way because of his inability to go full-time and accept all the scholarships he was offered Instead he had to assume all my responsibilities and become head of the household He’s unable to have the experiences of the campus life because I can’t be left alone for long periods so he has to take classes online only part-time unable to accept opportunities that came with the scholarships because he is unable to fulfill the requirements by going full-time due to my disabilities Our situation has obligated him to work full time just to pay our basic bills just to have utilities and a roof over our head Everything else has piled up He’ll now have student loan debt, something he would not have had with those scholarships This is all because I can’t take care of our house, myself, our four animals, who are just as much a part of this family as Tristan and I are Their extremely affected as well as as I cannot afford their veterinary care until I begin receiving disability benefits that I applied for two years ago and all four of them are two years behind on vaccinations including their rabies Their nails don’t get trimmed they’re not getting their heartworm preventatives anymore and most importantly regarding preventives their flea chews and they suffer scratching One of my part time jobs was working at an animal hospital for many years in addition to my restaurant manager job and my bartending and server job at another restaurant Working for the Animal Hospital allowed me great discount opportunities for all of their supplies hence us growing our fur baby family to the size that it is I never thought I would end up being unable to provide for my family Finally my son’s job requires him to drive his own car throughout the entire shift and we each have our own car – mine is necessary for my friend and my neighbor to get me to my doctor’s appointments every week sometimes several a week and now both cars are completely broken down and now he’s unable to work and I’m missing appointment We don’t have money for the repairs for either one and we’re going to lose everything if I don’t come up with $ to fix these cars and get a few months of bills paid so we have time to catch up and try to pad our finances a little bit I have many more details I could provide but I feel like this is such an incredibly long story as it is so I really want to conclude this I however would be more than happy to answer any questions or tell anybody more details and how this is affecting us and what we need if you reach out to me I would be more than happy to do that

Help me recover from my unidentified rare disease

Well,it is not easy to start…I have never thought I was gonna find myself here asking for help one day but unfortunetely here I am…first I would like to express my gratitude to all of you reading my page. Please share it with the world as I really need a miracle…

My story started 3 years ago. Out of nowhere, something went really wrong inside my skull. I started to have a very loud and weird crunching noise inside my head during every single swallows and it comes with sharp pain. At the beginning I did not pay much attention,I thought it would go away. But it got worse day by day, and very soon this crunching became so loud that can be easily heard by external auditors as well. The pain got also so unbearable that I immediately had to start seeing specialists and taking heavy drugs in order to survive. This was the point where the real misery started…

Although all the doctors heard this unbelievably loud crunching sensations from my skull, it is obviously objective, nobody knows what is this…I have seen countless of ENT doctors, neurologists, oral surgeons, neurosurgeons etc etc…I have had hundreds of tests, MRI-s,CT-s and I had to take several steroids, drugs over the years but nothing helped.

My condition became so bad that slowly I lost everything…my job, my personal relationships,my whole life….due to the heavy pain and the noise inside, I have not been able to sleep more than 4-5hours each night for 3years now,I can not eat, I avoid even drinking because it naturally comes with swallowing…which in my case comes with the pain and crunching. It literally feels like there is a huge bomb exploding inside every single minutes or a knife is stabbed into my brain through my ears… I have been forced to spend appr.80% of my time in bed for 3years now due to the heavy pain and exhaustion.

2years ago at least I found an extremely emphatic and amazing local doctor who has been fighting for me since then…I had several surgeries…spent plenty of time in hospitals since I met him.I had catheter placed inside my inner ears, I got different kind of injections into the inner ear area while trying to manipulate some inner muscles, and so many other procedures…I cannot even go into more details, it is a hell and nightmare what I have been going through but nothing has helped so far.(except of some temporary small relieves which gave me strength to keep going…)

As my rare condition is still not even diagnosed, we searched for help around the world..This was though very challenging due to the nature of my sickness and the Covid lockdowns.

We have finally found a worldfamous inner ear and skull base surgeon in Boston, who is very interested in my case. We have been in contact with him for many months,he is truly amazing, and now there is a chance finally to get to him for a personal visit. He is all my hope now.

On the other hand, as you might know, medical treatments in the USA are extremely expensive and very hard to arrange. As I dont even have a proper diagnosis yet, my first visit would be a very comprehensive examination, including special tests and some minimal-invasive medical treatment attempts.

As I have been unable to work for 3years, I am in a very hard financial situation on top of my sickness… even though my family supported me both financially and mentally as much as they could, this Boston visit is way too expensive for us to cover. Flight tickets, accomodation, medical tests , and possible intervention etc…as a first round I would need appr. 15.000.000 HUF(37.500EUR). I just want to get to him and maybe/hopefully everything will be solved. And as Im not allowed to travel alone due to my condition , I will need an attendant whose costs are also on me.

Here is my situation.

I have been lucky enough since I was separated with my daughter’s dad. After moving out, I lived with sister, a few weeks, a friend a few months then my aunt a few months. My daughter was 2.

My dad gave me a job as his secretary and I could finally live in an apartment. And at some point I could even work from home. Money was tight but I was able to live by myself with my daughter. I was learning about Crypto, because it seemed to be an approachable way to make extra money. I invested my savings and learned how to trade. The learning curve was difficult and I lost money. Still I wanted to persevere, but without fund, that was on hold.

I worked with my dad 6,5 years.

Then COVID came and higher prices for living. I had to move in with someone, I had no extra money for the double/triple costs of living.

I moved with one friend with my daughter who was 8 almost 9 at that time. She is now 11.

It was supposed to be temporary but I couldn’t find a job that suits being a mother at the same time. I am used to caring for my daughter and work from home and the transition to abandoning my daughter to basically raise herself was not an option I accepted. It’s still not.

Finding a job in this new area had been tough, and I decided to go back in the trading world after even more studying it.

I invested again, my savings but in the meantime trusted a friend to keep a chunk of my savings. That same friend used the entirety of my savings and keeps promising me to give it back once he sells the products he bought with my money. It’s been 3 years.

I live in his house so I guess it’s fair that he used my money.

My return in the trading world has been spectacular, to the point of sleepless nights. I knew I was capable of making money with money, but strangely my fears about being independent, finally, scared me a great deal.

Psychologically, trading is hard. I am fully aware of it and work at dealing with my demons every single day.

I am asking for help to pursue trading. It is something I am good at. I am learning to deal with my fears. I made 4,000€ in a month, slowly trading 2 times a day, more or less 5 days a week. I have an edge, and strategies, and several. My investment was 8,000€ and I was trading with 1,000€-3,000€.

I couldn’t agree to take small losses and that ruined my efforts. Instead of small losses I had several big once that reduced drastically my profit and my funds.

It’s a business that needs funds. I am studying every single day and look at chart and wait for more opportunities to continue trading with wat I have left. But my amount is so small I can’t make a living. All I do now is learning to accept small losses and slow growth. It’s long term investment.

I wish my friend would release the money he owe me now, but it’s not happening. I have been patient and still need to be. But my situation is in halt financially.

Please help me continue on that path. It is an amazing opportunity that is worth working for.

Family of 7 can’t catch a break! We just need a little kindness in our lives

Hello, my name is Wes,
My wife and I have five children together we’ve just moved in to the home we physically built as a family. Due to some serious delays and financial hits along the way we stand to loose the home we work so hard on. My wife and teenager daughter both picked up extra work in order to keep food on the table and the bills at bay. At this point we are out of options, credit cards are maxed out, utilities aresult delinquent. We could really use some breathing room. We’ve expunged our resources.
All we need is to start the next chapter of our lives on a good note! Our family has been to he’ll and back over the last 3 years. We lived in a small trailer on 2 separate occasions, the first time we couldn’t find a rental for a family our size, then kicked out of our rental  because he sold it, no warning. When we did finally find a place, it caught fire 3 weeks after we moved in. Which happened to be the day after Thanksgiving, no one was hurt, thats what matters, and thankfully we have good people in our lives that helped us. With all the unforseen delays in the build, extension fees, rent, I.O. Mortgage payments, utility bills and escalated food costs we’ve been scraping the bottom for some time now. My wife and I have been doing our best to keep moral up, putting on a smile so the kids don’t worry as much, they see through it but return the favor.
They deserve a break, a chance to be kids , and time to enjoy what they worked so hard for!Thank you very much.
