Good Day to you all and Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I am recently divorced and needed to move into my new place. I moved in April 2023. The Rent is steep, but I was able to handle it on my Salesperson income. In November of 2023 I was able to pass my Life & Annuity Insurance Sales state exam and was immediately employed with Senior Life. I am proud to say in my short time selling insurance I was able to write 2 policies. In December of 2023 I fell ill with a Respiratory Infection that had me bad ridden Christmas Day till well after the New Year. Unfortunately I have now maxed out all of my credit cards (2) and am scrambling to pay my Rent ($1500), Car note ($325), Loan payment and Credit Card bills. 14 years ago, I met a woman from the west indies that was living in her friend’s basement, homeless and had 2 children by different men. Later, it was revealed that one of her children’s fathers owned the house where she was staying. I fell in love and she eventually moved in my house, and we got married and had 3 children together. Her mother came in from her country to attend our wedding and never left. I didn’t think I would regret this later because her mother helped around the house with raising her 5 grandkids. We attended church regularly and participated in a few ministries as I thought we grew spiritually. Plus, I wanted my kids to have a spiritual foundation even if they depart from it as an adult, they may return to living right. I paid for all 5 kids expensive tuition in a private school so they have a decent education. My wife didn’t work consistently but would work as a nanny for under the table personal money although she had access to my bank accounts. She then started moving her relatives from overseas and friends into our house because she said they were in need. I never received financial payment for rent, food or utilities from totaling 21 people over the course of our marriage. My wife and kids suddenly left the church to go to another church without any explanation while I was a walking deacon for the church. I felt so embarrassed and eventually resigned my deacon pursuance because my wife cried and begged me to leave that church. I financed missions to her country to provide food, clothes and personal hygiene items to the many poor islanders while at that church. We also got married at that church. So, I was confused by her wanting to leave. She was also very abusive to her 2 kids and our kids. One day in 2014, at night, her and her girlfriend decided to take our kids and other family members away permanently. She abandoned our marriage. She had the nerve to even take my recently purchased SUV of 1 month prior. 9 years of her lying to judges in child support and custody court. We finally got divorced and she lied about me being the abuser and even said we both purchased my home. To avoid explaining the abandonment she lied and said I was abusive. My kids are intimidated by her, and they don’t want to testify against her. I was taken advantage of terribly and the judge granted her 90% of my assets. I am close to retirement age and have nothing. I need as much as I get to help me because I am still a father and my 1 kid just got married last week and I couldn’t provide anything because her mother has everything, I have worked hard for I am praying for financial blessings.

Hello Guys My name is Shawn and my situation is with my Friend from Nigeria name Ernest. I work a 9 to 5 as a sales man at a Gym. I get paid every two weeks and my rent is 1880$ both me and my brother pay 940$ each and the rest goes to bills and the internet and even food. I get $14 an hour make about 996$ on the first pay of  the month and 1200$ on the second pay because the second pay includes commission while the first is just the normal through. So I came in to give him like 1300$ to start up a small food and beverage store called “Fresh Finds” and for a while it was starting good but than it just stayed in the same place because there wasn’t no further funding I couldn’t help out because money got tighter for me and my house hold and now I’m trying to raise up 6000$ for him so that he could stand on his own feet by the investment of the business. That way he can get food and more products to sell in his business. He doesn’t have a fridge in his store so that as well will do well. I am married and a father of three beautiful children and never have received or have gotten money this way and wonder if I will. I don’t know what I can say except that I have never struggled so hard in my life and put alot of effort and time but failed to make enough income to keep my family from being homeless these past 3 years. I have exhausted all my retirement, savings, unemployment benefits  and don’t see any type of stimulus in the near future. I have been out of work due to the recent world event and lack of work. My wife works weekends.  I work hard with odd jobs to the point of exhaustion that I will fall asleep during my task and work at hand. It is still not enough to keep up with the bills, food expenses and rent. Money I worked for  ist taken as  our family has been victims of scams, accounts hacked,  identity theft, and fraud. Every month I am late on rent and every bill. The gas company forgave me for no bill payments in the last 2 years but I was disqualified because I am unable to pay even while on the forgiveness program. I have been waiting for the time when I make just enough so that I could build a few of these products I have invented that I have customers and businesses ready to purchase and rent. They have been waiting for me and the product for 3 years. Sadly I have come to believe I will not ever see the completion of the project my passion and goal that if I would ever overcome the debt and make enough to have money left over to get my wanted product out there then all will be well and if I were to pass away it would continue to provide income for my family and my children’s children. Hi. My name is Mikaela. I need help getting my car out of impound. It was only impounded because it was on the side of the highway blocking a snow plow apparently.

Growing up, my Dad wasn’t a part of my life. I didn’t know him and he didn’t me. It was just my mom, my grandma (my moms mom), and my grandpa (my moms dad). My Papa (grandpa) passed away December 26, 2021. He was my rock and my best friend. My grandma had decided to give me my Papa’s 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe. I just sold that a few months ago because it was at that point where if it wasn’t one part going bad, it was another. I didn’t have the money to keep up with the maintenance on it.

Towards the end of September 2023 my grandma, on my dad’s side, had passed away. Thankfully, my uncle, on my dads side, had messaged me about a week before she passed and let me know what was going on. I went to say my final goodbyes to her. After she had passed, since she had left her car to my dad, my dad told them to just give the car to me. He did that because he had found out the vehicle I was driving at the time (the Tahoe) had some issues going on with it.

Im still in the process of getting the car registered in my name. The only thing thats been stopping me is my financial situation.

This past Saturday (January 13th, 2024) I was on the way to my friends house cause she said she would help me out by putting me on her car insurance plan. On the way to her house the front driver tire blew and shredded. When it shredded a piece of it somehow managed to go up around the wheel well, and wrap around the wiring for the fuse box, melting the wiring to that piece of the tire. My phone had died and I couldnt find a charger anywhere in the car. I sat in the car for 3 hours, while the temperature outside was 0 degrees, before a police officer finally pulled up behind my car. The police officer gave me a ride to friends house that was 2 minutes away, and had told me that I had until that night to move my car.

It wasn’t even on the side of the highway for 4 hours before the Highway Patrol had the car towed and impounded. I couldnt find the car until Tuesday since it was the weekend and then monday was a holiday. Tuesday whenever I called the impounded lot, it was $525 to get it out. They charge $50 every day for a storage fee.

My dad said he can pay $225 of however much it ends up being.

My car is how I make my money considering I deliver for Doordash. Im in the process of getting my certificate so I can get one step closer to becoming an Accountant. Im trying to better my future and turn my future around by starting my career. Im only 24 years old. It seems like every time I do something to better my future and better my situation, something comes along and ruins it and makes it that much harder.

Due to the pandemic and the inflation afterwards, compounded by no pay rase to account for inflation, I am no longer able to pay all my bills on-time and on budget. My biggest bill is my auto loan through carmax who does not care about my hardships and is unwilling to work with me to help me get back on track. I never thought that I would be here begging for money but I’m going through a lot and I just don’t know what to do.

I’m from Brazil and recently moved to the USA (4 years ago) and I’m still in my visa process which is killing me. I’ve been taking anxiety medication and antidepressants to deal with this uncertain future.

I’m 21 years old and I work for Disney, they’re paying for my college so I’m working towards my Criminal Justice degree.

My parents and I are struggling financially because we’re pretty much starting our life again. Both of them are working over than 12h day doing uber eats/passengers and doordash. But we barely can afford all the bills we have and we’re living paycheck to paycheck. It breaks my heart that my dad is doing everything he can for me and I really wish I could help my family more, or at least just have a relief from all debts.

I don’t make a lot of money working for disney and even loving my job I’m having a hard time paying my car/gas/tolls and insurance. I considered selling my car but I really need one to go to work. I applied for this other job at the MCO Airport while ago while working at Disney at the same time but I got scammed by them after 3 months working there, I never received one of my paychecks and they refused to pay me because they said that it was on my bank account even with all the proofs I had that it wasn’t. I filled out a police report but nothing happened and  after that I had to start using one of my credit cards and now I have a lot of debt and I don’t know what to do. On November 29, 2023, tragedy struck after my car was rear-ended, completely totaled which left me without any means of transportation from point A to point B . This accident not only took away my ability to travel but also cost me my job as a delivery driver. As a result, I found myself suddenly unemployed, struggling to make ends meet, currently left facing the possibility of homelessness. To make matters worse, prior to the car accident, my family & I had already been dealing with devastation due to the aftermath of a scam moving company robbed us blind vanishing taking all of our personal belongings, leaving us without basic necessities and priceless possessions. This unexpected loss not only caused emotional distress but also financial strain as I still am in the works to replace essential items for my little family of three. Now, faced with the imminent threat of homelessness I was informed as of January 18, 2023 that we have two weeks to either come up with the necessary funds or find some place else to go. To keep a roof over our heads, we need $1,820 to cover the cost of rent along with the added late fees. Daunting to some this amount may be, but for us, it represents a lifeline. I am & have explored various options to secure financial assistance. Local organizations and charities that specialize in providing support for housing or financial help that may be able to offer assistance. Their services could potentially bridge the gap between our current circumstances and a stable future. Additionally, I reached out to social services in our area to inquire about any available programs/resources specifically designed to assist families in need. It is important to highlight the urgency of our situation. With only two weeks remaining, time is of the essence. Determined to overcome this setback and regain stability for ourselves. Hello. I am stuck. I work two jobs and care for my two kids, a disabled vet husband and my aging mother.
